Abstract

Students' ability in learning speaking skills has not developed much. Many students have difficulty speaking in front of the class. They do not have high self-confidence in learning speaking skills. This problem can be overcome through audio-visual media that makes students interested in speaking by telling the contents of the learning videos they see and hear. This study aims to describe: (1). Daily learning implementation plan, Improving Learning Speaking Skills Through Audio-Visual Media for Children Aged 5-6 Years, (2). Implementation, Improving Learning Speaking Skills Through Audio-Visual Media for Children Aged 5-6 Years, (3) Assessment of Improving Learning Speaking Skills Through Audio-Visual Media for Children Aged 5-6 Years. The research conducted by the author uses a qualitative and quantitative approach with the type of classroom action research. The subjects of the research conducted by the author were 10 students. The learning process of improving learning through audio-visual media consists of 3 activities, namely: (1) Initial Activities, (2) Core Activities consisting of 3 stages, namely (a) pre-speaking stage, (2) speaking stage, (c) post-speaking stage and (3) Final Activities. To see and know the results obtained in improving speaking skills learning through audio-visual media, data related to student and teacher activities were taken. As well as data on the achievement of improving students' speaking skills learning. The results obtained after the implementation of cycles I, II and during the preliminary study have experienced good improvement.

Abstract

The tendency of children to have introverted personalities is influenced by the parenting styles of their parents within the family environment. This study aims to determine the influence of authoritarian, democratic, and permissive parenting styles on children's introverted personalities. The method used was a quantitative statistical approach through a Likert scale questionnaire administered to 12 parents who were selected as samples based on purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with the help of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences. The results showed that the three types of parenting styles did not have a significant effect on children's introverted personalities (significance value > 0.05). Authoritarian and permissive parenting styles showed a positive relationship, while democratic parenting showed a negative relationship with introverted tendencies, but this was not statistically significant. The results of this study indicate that the formation of a child's introverted personality is not only influenced by parenting styles, but also by internal factors such as innate temperament, as well as external factors such as the social environment, emotional experiences, and the surrounding culture, which also have a significant influence. Parenting styles should be based on gentleness, wisdom, and exemplary behavior as described in the letter of Luqman. Parents need to understand that introverted children are not to be corrected, but to be understood and guided with love. Therefore, a spiritual, reflective, and respectful approach to parenting is key in accompanying their growth and development

Abstract

Technological developments have encouraged the use of Augmented Reality (AR) as an interactive learning medium in education. However, learning 3D animation using Autodesk Maya is still considered difficult by beginner students due to the complexity of the features and interface. This study aims to develop and analyze the benefits of an interactive learning media application based on markerless Augmented Reality (AR) in recognizing icons and functions of the Autodesk Maya Toolbox. The research method used is applied research with a qualitative approach and the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) development method. The application was developed using Unity, Vuforia, and Autodesk Maya, and tested on 30 students through interviews. The results of the study show that the markerless AR application is able to help students understand and recognize the Autodesk Maya toolbox more easily through interactive and clear 3D object visualization. Thus, this application is considered useful as a supporting medium for innovative and interactive 3D animation learning.
