Abstract

This development research is based on the significant gap between the low Mathematical Numeracy Literacy of students (especially in reasoning and critical thinking) and the high demands of entrepreneurship in the context of Local Shoe Manufacturing, where the calculation of raw material costs, operational costs, and profit margins are crucial. The main objective of this research is to produce a blueprint and concept map for an Adaptive Learning Platform (ALP), which effectively integrates real industry challenges into applied mathematics materials, in line with the need for hyper-personalization and the trend of Intelligent Tutoring Systems in education. The Research Method used is the 4D Research and Development (R&D) Model which is limited only to the Define Stage. The research design involves four analytical steps: Needs Analysis, Concept Analysis, Student Characteristics Analysis, and Product Specifications. Data Collection Techniques include Curriculum Documentation Study, Industrial Field Observation (including online marketing practices), an in-depth interview with industry managers, a Systematic Literature Review, and an Initial Questionnaire for learning needs diagnosis. The main instruments include the Event Guidelines, Material Relevance Matrix, and Numeracy Test. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively-descriptively through triangulation data synthesis from various sources. The findings indicate an urgent need for an ALP with adaptive features and tracking mechanisms that present Percentage, Comparison, and Statistics materials in manufacturing product pricing scenarios, resulting in an ALP Prototype Blueprint (including adaptive flow charts and storyboards) ready for implementation in the next Design stage.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the differences and similarities between Arabic and Indonesian in terms of inflectional morphology and derivations. The type of research used is a descriptive qualitative research method with a contrastive synchronic approach. Data collection methods and techniques in this research used listening methods and note-taking techniques. The results obtained from this research are that there are similarities and differences in the inflection and derivation processes in Arabic and Indonesian. The similarity is that in the inflection process both of them get changes in the verb (verb), nominal (noun) and adjective (adjective). Likewise, in the derivation process, both of them receive additions at the beginning, middle and end in order to obtain a specific meaning or goal. The difference between Arabic and Indonesian in the inflection and derivation process is that Arabic is more productive than Indonesian both in terms of inflection and derivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of the role of teachers in instilling the character of responsibility in grade III students of MI Alam Ya Bunayya Bungo, identify the supporting and inhibiting factors, and explain the implications of the findings for the development of character education in madrasah ibtidaiyah. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation of school principals, grade III teachers, students, and parents/guardians of students. The results of the study show that the cultivation of a responsible character is carried out through the example of teachers, habituation of positive behavior, positive reinforcement, integration of values in learning, evaluation, and reflection, as well as contextual activities such as gardening, siroh stories, and group work. The novelty of this research lies in the integration between the pillars of natural school leadership, the Bloom approach, the supervision of the principal, the KKG forum, school-family communication, and real learning experiences as an ecosystem for the formation of responsibility. Implicitly, this research contributes to the strengthening of character education theory that emphasizes the integration of moral, affective, and behavioral aspects, while offering a practical model of responsibility coaching that is systematic, collaborative, contextual, and sustainable to be applied to Islamic basic education. These findings confirm that the success of character education does not rely enough on normative lectures, but rather requires teacher consistency, family support, school culture, and direct experience so that the value of responsibility is internalized in students’ daily behavior in a stronger and more meaningful way.

Abstract

Learning independence is an essential competency in elementary education, particularly in IPAS learning, which requires students to actively engage in observation, inquiry, discussion, and problem-solving activities. However, many elementary students still demonstrate limited initiative, responsibility, and self-regulation during the learning process. This study aimed to examine how the design and implementation of joyful learning experiences could strengthen students’ learning independence in elementary IPAS education. The study employed a Classroom Action Research design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of two action cycles. The research was conducted with 14 fourth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 4 Bungo during the 2025/2026 academic year. Joyful learning experiences were designed through educational games, collaborative discussions, contextual exploration activities, presentations, and reflective learning tasks. Data were collected through observation and documentation and analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. Learning independence was assessed through four dimensions: self-confidence, learning discipline, responsibility, and learning initiative. The findings revealed continuous improvement across all dimensions throughout the intervention cycles. The average level of learning independence increased from 43% in the pre-cycle phase to 59.5% in Cycle I and reached 79.5% in Cycle II. The greatest improvement was observed in learning initiative, while responsibility consistently achieved the highest scores. These findings indicate that joyful learning experiences can create meaningful and student-centered learning environments that support the development of learning independence and self-regulated learning in elementary IPAS education.
