Abstract

Bamboo petung Makassar Bulo Pattung (Dendrocalamus Asper) in the Hulu Jeneberang watershed can be found in several villages such as, in Topidi, Jo'jo Batara, Panaikang, and Parangkeke in Tinggimoncong sub-district, in Lengkese hamlet Bawakaraeng, Raulo, Bangkeng Tabbing, Pattiro, Majannang , Bontopanno, Bilanrengi, in Parigi sub-district, Gowa district. Management of bulo pattung plants in the Hulu Jeneberang watershed. Bulo Pattung, which has typical highland bambuo plants, occupies ideal land in terrain with elevations above 1,000 meters above sea level, which is very necessary to reduce the threat of surface erosion and landslides. This research aims to 1) Assess the suitability of the Bulo Pattung land in the Hulu Jeneberang watershed based on physical environmental parameters; 2) Make conservation directions for the Bulo Pattung plant. Determination of land suitability based on unit maps, which are derived from maps: land use, slope, soil, land form. Soil sampling, in land units. Physical environmental parameters include; temperature, water availability, rooting media, nutrient retention, salinity, toxicity, available nutrients, ease of processing, and terrain, field parameters taken when taking soil samples. Soil sample analysis is tested in the laboratory. Next, the suitability analysis is carried out. The results of the research show: 1) There is land suitability for conservation, namely S1 (Very Suitable), 2) Directions for land conservation based on land suitability derived from factors that limit land suitability, are recommended in land units with cliffs and steep slopes.

Abstract

The development of an area or region depends on the mobility of transportation facilities and infrastructure. This development is related to the increase in population and activities. These goods transport vehicles are also an indicator of the progress of an area which also drives the economic activities of its people. This research aims to see the magnitude of the influence of self-control in driving goods transportation. This research uses a quantitative descriptive type of research carried out in the Maminasata area which covers the Makassar City area, Regency. Takalar, Parts of Maros Regency and Parts of Gowa Regency. The results of the research show that the driver's self-control is in the moderate category or means that the driver is able to control himself while driving, such as controlling the speed and arranging the travel route to utilize travel time.

Abstract

Abstrak. Artikel ini menguraikan gambaran persepsi, minat dan kesadaran mahasiswa program studi teknik sipil dalam pemanfaatan bahan bangunan ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif yang melibatkan 165 mahasiswa program studi teknik sipil pada beberapa universitas di Kota Makassar yang telah melalui pendidikan lima semester. Penyebaran instrumen melalui google form. Pengukuran persepsi dilakukkan dengan isntrumen test dengan skala 0 dan 1 untuk menemukan kategori indikator pressure, state dan respons. Sedangkan variabel minat dan kesadaran mahasiswa diperolah dari hasil jawaban kuesioner dengan kategori nilai 1–5.  Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minatnya memanfaatkan bahan bangunan ramah lingkungan.  Kata Kunci: Persepsi, kesadaran, bahan bangunan

Abstract

One of the basic needs of the community is the availability of clean water in their environment. The water that humans need is clean water, which according to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 416/MENKES/PER/IX/1990 Requirements for Clean Water Quality, water that meets the requirements of clean, clear, odorless, colorless, does not contain germs and substances dangerous. At the request or offer from the Bulurokeng sub-district community through the Makassar City Government Public Works Service, in 2013 the Government provided the provision of clean water facilities for the Bulurokeng sub-district, known as the SPAM program. Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM). Based on data from the Makassar City Public Works Agency in 2021, the Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) built in the Bulurokeng sub-district has several causes that cause the facilities built to malfunction. Therefore, the authors found a solution to re-operate clean water facilities by increasing the performance of managers through improving the management system. This study uses quantitative, descriptive, evaluative, and experimental methods to determine the effectiveness of community-based clean water management. The results of further research are based on the output of data processing based on the SMARTPLS software application to obtain recommendations or solutions for using the right model in improving community-based clean water management systems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola retak yang terjadi pada beton bertulang precast hingga memperoleh nilai keruntuhan dari salah satu titik retak balok precast. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, dengan 3 variasi panjang sambungan beton yaitu 20cm, 30cm dan 40cm, masing-masing dengan jumlah 3 sampel. Mutu beton yang digunakan adalah fc’ sebesar 25 MPa. Balok berukuran 15 cm x 20 cm dengan bentang 140 cm, 150 cm dan 160 cm. Pengujian lentur dilakukan terhadap semua balok sampai hancur pada beban maksimum. Selama pembebanan dokumentasi dilakukan untuk merekam perambatan retak yang terjadi sejak retak awal sampai retak pada beban maksimum. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pola retak yang terjadi pada  ketiga balok sangat bervariasi. Terdapat retak awal masing-masing di bagian tengah, ujung sambungan balok dan di tengah-tengah sambungan balok. Keretakan dominan terjadi di bagian sambungan balok dengan tebal yang lebih besar daripada retak di bagian tengah.

Abstract

Mitra Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan kimia prodi Pendidikan Kimia, Jurusan Kimia Universitas Negeri Makassar. Mahasiswa kimia membutuhkan kemampuan dan konsep yang jelas tentang ilmu spektroskopi guna memahami symbol-simbol yang mewakili penentuan struktur suatu senyawa. terutama pemahaman tentang spektrum Spektrosfotometri Infra Merah (FTIR), hanya saja mahasiswa mendapatkan kesulitan  dalam mengolah hasil FTIR yang pada akhirnya  menjadi boomerang bagi mahasiswa kimia terutama bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan kimia. Spektrosfotometri Infra Merah (FTIR), adalah salah satu metode penentuan gugus fungsi suatu molekul berdasarkan interaksi molekul dengan radiasi elektromagnetik dengan kisaran Panjang gelombang 0.75-1000 µm. dengan menggunakan Metode Transfer ilmu dan pengetahuan (IPTEKS) yang dilakukan oleh tim pengabdi melalui proses mendengar, mengetahui, mencoba, mengevaluasi dan melaksanakan memberikan hasil yang cukup signifikan. Dimana dari hasil pretest yang sebelum hampir 60% belum dapat menginterpretasikan hasil kromatogram FTIR setelah mengikuti PKM ini, meningkat menjadi 70% mampu mengerjakan soal kromatogram FTIR, dimana berdasarkan survey hal ini disebabkan cara panitia PKM dalam menjelaskan materi sangat mudah dipahami oleh peserta.

Abstract

Several cities in Indonesia experienced rain with acidity levels below the standard threshold. This condition illustrates that the rainwater is categorized as acid rain. Acid rain causes damage to crops, the aquatic environment, and human disease. This damage also occurred in construction buildings, causing porous concrete and reinforcement. This damage also occurs in construction buildings, causing the concrete and reinforcement to become porous, affecting the durability of the building. The purpose of this study is to predict the decrease in the durability of concrete buildings by making modeling using Matlab software. This research is experimental research with cylindrical and beam-shaped specimens. The variation used is a mixture of concrete using rice husk ash substituting 0%, 5%, and 10% by weight of cement. The tests carried out are compressive, flexural, and water absorption tests. This data was analyzed to form a durability model with the help of Matlab software. The results showed that the durability modeling was in the form of a hyperbolic paraboloidal with a second-order polynomial equation

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to assess the environmental education integration model's effectiveness in improving elementary school students' knowledge and attitudes in science subjects. Efforts to integrate environmental education with subjects in elementary schools have developed to emphasize the importance of student knowledge development. However, limitations in time and learning achievement targets require carefully designed integration methods. This study is an experiment that applies the integration of Environmental Education (EE) with science lessons through video media and class discussions. This research is classified as quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach. The population of this study consisted of 4th-grade elementary school students in Makassar City. The data analysis technique used was the pretest-posttest group design, and hypothesis testing was analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test. The results of this study indicate that there is potential to support the integration model. Environmental Education integration material was selected by reviewing the science lesson planning documents and searching for relevant environmental issue news on electronic media. The findings revealed differences in students' knowledge and attitudes before and after receiving environmental education through the integration of science learning. The changes in students’ environmental knowledge and attitudes were also significantly different before and after the environmental education was provided.

Abstract

Kondisi gizi yang buruk yang tandai dengan pertumbuhan tinggi badan balita yang lebih pendek dibandingkan dengan anak usia sebayanya disebut dengan stunting. Anak stunting jika dibiarkan akan berdampak para proses kognitif dan kemampuan fisiknya menjadi melambat atau bahkan gagal. Susu sapi bukanlah hal yang baru bagi masyarakat terutama ibu-ibu rumah tangga. Kandungan gizi seperti kalsium, fosfat, omega, menjadi salah satu factor pendukung untuk mencegah masalah stunting pada anak, hanya saja pengolahan susu dikalangan masyarakat terutama ibu-ibu rumah tangga, masih terbatas pada minum susu. Padahal banyak produk olahan dari susu seperti mozarellah,keju krim. hal ini mendorong tim PKM menggerakkan para ibu-ibu cleaning service FMIPA UNM untuk membuat keju homemade berbahan dasar susu yang lebih murah dan bergizi. Hasil PKM pengolahan susu menjadi creamcheese home made menunjukkan minat yang sangat tinggi dari peserta, ini terlihat dari survey kepuasan peserta PKM yang rata-rata menyetujui pentingnya membuat variasi olahan susu sebesar 99% dan hampir 89% peserta akan membuat ulang kembali produk creamcheese homemade olahan dirumah, agar keluarga mereka bisa merasakan enaknya produk creamcheese homemade

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh model pelatihan SOLID (self confidence-opportunity- learning of technology-initiative–decision) terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelaku industri tahu pada pengolahan dan pemanfaatan limbah okara. Penelitian eksperimental ini merupakan bagian dari pengembangan model pemberdayaan masyarakat yang melibatkan 25 peserta untuk memanfaatkan okara menjadi pakan ternak dan pupuk kompos. Model pelatihan dilakukan pada bulan Mei-Agustus 2024. Aspek pengetahuan yang dinilai mengenai potensi okara, pengolahan okara, kandungan okara dan dampak lingkungan. Aspek keterampilan yang dinilai adalah kemampuan pada proses fermentasi okara, maggot sebagai agen pendegradasi, pakan ternak maggot, dan kompos berbahan okara. Berdasarkan analisis terdapat pengaruh penerapan model SOLID yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi pelaku industri tahu dalam pengolahan dan pemanfataan okara menjadi produk pakan dan pupuk kompos. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model SOLID efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan sebesar 76 – 88 persen dan keterampilan sebesar 64 – 80 persen.  Kata Kunci : Industri tahu, okara, maggot, SOLID
