Abstract

The freedom of communication afforded by social media provides significant benefits to netizens by allowing them to interact and communicate without geographical restrictions or physical distance. Social media becomes a public forum to channel opinions or sentiments through comments. The sentiment of netizen comments refers to the opinions, responses, feelings, or views expressed by social media users (netizens) towards a particular topic, event, or content. This study aims to analyze the sentiments of netizens in the post of the Inauguration of the Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning / Head of the National Defense Agency (ATR / BPN) of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet in the remaining term of office for the 2019-2024 period on the @agusyudhoyono Instagram account. This research uses qualitative methods with collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation. This research uses netnography theory. Netnography research aims to gain a deep understanding of the signification hidden in posts or responses made by netizens, which are observed from the perspective of the researcher. The results of this study indicate that netizen sentiment in the post of the inauguration of the Minister of ATR / BPN on the @agusyudhoyono Instagram account is mostly in the form of positive sentiment. Netizens' comments are in the form of congratulations, hopes, and prayers for Agus Yudhoyono. While negative sentiment is in the form of comments that reflect netizen disappointment with Agus Yudhoyono because he is no longer in opposition to the Jokowi administration

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of web-based games on children's interpersonal communication with parents and parental approaches to reduce dependency on internet games in Tanjung Gusta Sunggal, Deli Serdang Regency. Observations, interviews, and documentation were utilized in a qualitative descriptive research method. Symbolic interactionism theory was applied in this study. The findings of this research are related to how parents and children who enjoy playing online games communicate with each other. Children in Tanjung Gusta tend to display aggressive behavior towards those around them, especially when interacting with older individuals. They also tend to lose or make mistakes while playing online games. Moreover, they often defy their parents' orders solely for the sake of their online gaming pleasure. Because children believe that the gaming world is their realm, many of them spend more time playing online games than with their parents. Even when they attempt to be disobedient to assert that they are not children, adjustments can be made. It is not uncommon for them to utter dismissive words such as "ah" when receiving advice or reprimands from their parents. Parents should limit their children's time spent playing online games to no more than one or two hours per day to prevent them from becoming addicted. Choosing daytime hours, such as after school or in the evening before bedtime, is also recommended.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing communication strategies used by the Instagram account @adekdekorasi_medan to attract customers. It employs a qualitative descriptive research method and applies the marketing mix theory. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results reveal that @adekdekorasi_medan employs various marketing communication strategies on Instagram, such as online promotion, endorsements, enhancing the visual presentation of the account, and offering promotions. These strategies help attract and retain potential customers. Despite the fierce competition in the social media decoration services industry, @adekdekorasi_medan has managed to maintain its presence since 2000

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengekplorasi penggunaan konten tiktok dari akun @gilanknugroho dalam membentuk edukasi tugas akhir mahasiswa UINSU Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat, Sains dan Teknologi. Rata-rata ouput kuesioner dengan masing-masing kualifikasi stambuk 2020 memiliki nilai yang lebih dalam menonton edukasi tugas akhir. Hasil dari SEM PLS dengan pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas nilai AVE masing-masing indikator >0,50 dan Cronbach’s Alpha >0,70 yang berarti sudah cukup baik

Abstract

Language teaching is part of education in general, but language teaching has different characteristics and purposes from education in its overall concept. Language teaching does not mean teaching about the language, but it tends to teach the methods and techniques for pronouncing the language. Technology is a Greek word meaning a craft, workmanship, or art, and it is a suffix meaning science. Technology is work that is concerned with improving performance and formulation during scientific application. Based on this, it can be concluded that education technology does not require the presence of technology in it, and education based on technology requires the presence of technology during the lesson. The history of the emergence of technology-based education, especially language education, corresponds to the emergence of the technologies themselves on the ground.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui resepsi pengurus Badan Kemakmuran Masjid (BKM) pada Sistem Informasi Masjid (SIMAS) sebagai media layanan digital yang dibuat Kementerian Agama RI untuk memperkuat pengelolaan kemakmuran Masjid di masyarakat. Resepsi pengurus Badan Kemakmuran Masjid (BKM) pada SIMAS dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis resepsi Stuart Hall dengan tiga posisi: hegemoni, negosiasi dan oposisi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu enam orang pengurus Badan Kemakmuran Masjid (BKM). Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan dengan uji triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas pengurus Badan Kemakmuran Masjid (BKM) di Kecamatan Medan Barat memanfaatkan SIMAS dan meyakini bahwa aplikasi ini mampu membantu dalam penguatan kemakmuran masjid. Sebagian pengurus BKM juga mendorong agar SIMAS terus dikembangkan agar lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengurus BKM dalam penguatan kemakmuran masjidnya.

Abstract

Nowadays, nickel is an important component of batteries which is a very profitable subsector. The increasing public interest in electric vehicles and renewable energy is one of the causes of the high demand for nickel for electric vehicles and increasing attention for public companies of nickel processing. This study’s objective is to analyze factors determining the stock prices of nickel companies registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The tested factors include Total Asset Turnover Ratio (TATO), Return on Equity (ROE), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Price to Earning Ration (PER), Price to Book Value (PBV), and Earning per Share (EPS). This research applies data of 3 Indonesian nickel companies from q12014 to q32022, and applies a method of panel data. Findings of this study reveal that ROE, DER, PBV, and EPS have impacts significantly on the stock prices of Indonesian nickel companies. Indonesian nickel companies are suggested to investing smelters in order to optimize the added value of nickel commodities and follow the downstream policy.

Abstract

This research is entitled The Effect of Using Celebrity Endorsers in Attracting Interest in Buying Instagram Social Media Users (Case Study of FISUINSU Students). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of x1 attractiveness (attractiveness), x2 trustworthiness (trust), and x3 expertise (expertise) owned by celebrity endorsers on buying interest of Instagram social media users. Data was collected through the questionnaire method with a population of 615 using the slovin formula, so 86 samples were obtained. Then an analysis of the data obtained was carried out in the form of quantitative analysis which included validity, reliability tests, through the f test and t test to prove the hypothesis. The data used is multiple linear regression analysis which functions to see the effect. Based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis testing (t test) which is processed using SPSS 22 Attractiveness variables (attractiveness) affect purchase intention with a value of Sig. 0.001 <0.05, Trustworthiness has no effect on buying interest with a Sig value. 0.215> 0.05, Expertise (expertise) affects the purchase intention with a value of Sig. 0.000 < 0.05, from the results of the t test it is found that one of the variables, namely trustworthiness, has no significant effect on the purchase intention of Instagram social media users. In the test of the coefficient of determination, together the variables Attractiveness (attractiveness), Trustworthiness (trust), Expertise (skills) affect the purchase intention of 82.4%. The remaining 17.6% Purchase intention (Y) is influenced by other variables not used in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of the Tiktok application to fulfill information needs for teenagers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Bina Insani. The theory used is uses and gratification and the research method uses quantitative. The results showed that the level of use of the Tik-Tok application to fulfill information needs among teenagers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Bina Insani quite often used the Tiktok application, the majority of respondents used the Tik Tok application more than 10 times a day. Information needs through the Tik Tok application can also be seen from the interest of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teenagers to increase knowledge, get information, gain new experiences, and to increase insight and interact with new friends. Bina Insani Madrasah Tsanawiyah teenagers also get news related to events that occur in the surrounding environment through the Tik Tok application. In addition, Bina Insaniyah Madrasah Tsanawiyah teenagers also get solutions related to a problem in the Tiktok application so that they can fulfill their information needs, and Bina Insani Madrasah Tsawaniyah teenagers can find information that is entertaining or can help respondents relax themselves from the daily routine.

Abstract

LGBT adalah singkatan dari lesbian, gay, biseksual, dan transgender. Fenomena LGBT berkembang cukup pesat di era globalisasi yang ada di dunia. Film merupakan salah satu media komunikasi massa yang menjadikannya sebagai sarana komunikasi dan menyampaikan pesan tertentu. Film Lightyear adalah salah film yang sempat membuat dunia heboh dikarenakan film tersebut mengandung unsur LGBT yang dimuat secara terang-terangan. Film ini jadi dicekal dan dilarang penayangannya dibeberapa negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana representasi pesan-pesan LGBT melalui tanda-tanda dalam film pendek animasi Lightyear. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan observasi, dokumentasi, penelusuran kepustakaan dan online. Dalam penelitian ini menganalisis menggunakan teori Semiotika Komunikasi dari Roland Barthes dengan dimensi teorinya yaitu tanda konotasi, denotasi dan mitos. Denotasi adalah pembacaan secara nyata, konotasi yaitu pembacaan secara subjektif, sedangkan mitos merupakan hubungan antara makna gejala alam atau suatu fenomena yang dipercayai oleh banyak orang, peneliti mengambil beberapa scene yang benar-benar menonjolkan sikap LGBT. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa representasi dalam film Lightyear mengandung unsur LGBT.
