Abstract

Penelitian membahas masalah tentang rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas IV SD Negeri 5 Metro Pusat. Masalah tersebut muncul karena kurangnya inovasi pendidik dalam penggunaan dan mengembangkan model dan media pembelajaran yang dapat mendukung hasil belajar peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang positif pada model pembelajaran game based learning berbantuan media marbel terhadap hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas IV. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 53 peserta didik yang ditentukan menggunakan purposive sampling. Jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest posttest nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan non tes. Data dianalisis melalui uji regresi sederhana. Hasil uji regresi sederhana menunjukan terdapat pengaruh game based learning berbantuan media marbel terhadap hasil belajar. Sehingga, game based learning berbantuan media marbel dapat dijadikan alternatif bagi pendidik dalam pemilihan model dan media yang tepat untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

The Effectiveness of Multimedia-Based Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) on Thematic Learning Outcomes. Objectives: The low students’ learning outcomes encourage this study to analyze and determine the effect of the implementation of the multimedia-based Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model on the students’ thematic learning outcomes. Methods: Quasi-experimental and quantitative approaches were employed in this study with a non-equivalent control group design. The purposive sampling technique was used in determining the research sample from a total population of 59 students. The data were collected through test and non-test techniques. Findings: Based on the hypothesis test using a simple regression formula, the data obtained that Fcount > Ftable, i.e., 9.19 > 4.20, which has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes after the implementation of the CIRC model combined with multimedia. Conclusion: The CIRC learning model applied is concluded as an effective learning model as it could improve students’ learning outcomes. Keywords: CIRC, multimedia, thematic learning outcome.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i3.202204

Abstract

Implementation of High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) Based on Problem Based Learning on Science Literacy Ability. Objectives: Knowing and analyzing scientific literacy skills by applying the HOTS-oriented Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. Methods: The type of research in this research is experimental research. The object of research is the implementation of HOTS based on Problem Based Learning (X) on literacy skills (Y). The research subjects were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 5 Metro Pusat. The research design used is a pre-experimental design and uses one form of design, namely the one group pretest-posttest design. This design uses one group, as an illustration, the experimental group. The experimental group is the class that gets treatment in the form to the application of HOTS based on Problem-Based Learning. The HOTS indicators used in this study are identify scientific issues (problems); explain scientific phenomena; using scientific evidence Findings: Based on the results of the data analysis, the pretest score for the scientific literacy ability of students achieved by the experimental class was 9.25 and the posttest score was 11.90. Conclusion: The results of the research that have been carried out show that the application of high order thinking skills (HOTS) based on problem based learning (PBL) to improve scientific literacy skills has the impact of increasing n-gain by 0.21 in the low category. Abstract

One of important quality parameters of white crystal cane sugar is its color, which is measured as the ICUMSA value referring to the standard method established by the International Commission for Uniform Methods of Sugar Analysis (ICUMSA). It is usually measured in a laboratory using a complex and lengthy chemical analysis method. To overcome this challenge, this research attempts to explore the potential use of multi-channel spectral sensors in the UV-Vis-NIR region as an alternative method to predict the ICUMSA value. The proposed portable device uses an AS7265X sensor as the main component. The spectra data of 60 cane sugar samples were collected using the proposed device followed by measurements of ICUMSA value in the laboratory using standard methods as reference. The prediction using partial least squares regression (PLSR) model achieved R2 = 0.896, RMSEC = 0.072%, RMSEP = 0.103%, CV = 26.087%, and RPD = 3.104. The multiple linear regression (MLR) model achieved R2 = 0.910, RMSEC = 0.067%, RMSEP = 0.111%, CV = 24.328%, and RPD = 3.328. The artificial neural network (ANN) model achieved R2 = 0.999, RMSEC = 0.004%, RMSEP = 0.037%, CV = 1.433% and RPD = 9.543. This result indicates that the developed PLSR, MLR, and ANN models can predict the ICUMSA value well with ANN as the best model. It also can be concluded that the proposed portable device can be an alternative for rapid analysis of ICUMSA value.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan peserta didik di kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Mekar Mulya untuk memahami teks dongeng. Empat indikator utama yang digunakan untuk melakukan analisis adalah: (1) menemukan ide utama, (2) memasangkan pertanyaan dan jawaban, (3) menyusun kembali cerita, dan (4) menjawab pertanyaan berdasarkan teks. Penelitian ini adalah studi kasus kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini bersumber dari guru kelas IV dan 22 siswa kelas IV dari SD Negeri 1 Mekarmulyo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Mekarmulyo sangat mampu membaca teks dongeng Anak Indonesia; dari 22 siswa, 12 masuk dalam kategori sangat mampu, 12 masuk dalam kategori mampu dalam membaca pemahaman, dan 1 masuk dalam kategori tidak mampu. Dari keempat indikator yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, indikator menemukan ide pokok mendapatkan persentase tertinggi sebesar 93%, sedangkan indikator menceritakan kembali cerita mendapatkan persentase terendah sebesar 86%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of discovery learning integration assisted by interactive PPT on science process skills in elementary school students. The approach used in this study is quantitative with the Quasi-Experimental Design method. The research design uses Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study was all grade VI at SDN 1 Sukadana Baru, totaling 46 students. The sampling technique used saturated sampling. Data collection techniques used tests in the form of essay questions and non-tests in the form of observation sheets. The prerequisite test for data analysis used normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing, namely simple linear regression tests. The results showed that F count = 17.405 with a significance of 0.001, which means 0.001 <0.05 so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, it can be concluded that there is an effect of discovery learning integration assisted by interactive PPT on science process skills.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan LKPD berbasis pendekatan STEM terhadap kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 2 Gunung Sulah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekaan kuantitatif dengan quasi experimental dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 2 Gunung Sulah. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V A sebagai kelompok kontrol dan peserta didik kelas V B sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah ­non probability sampling dengan jenis sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes berupa soal uraian, dan teknik non-tes menggunakan lembar observasi. Data observasi penerapan LKPD berbasis pendekatan STEM diperoleh hasil rata-rata persentase sebesar 83% kategori sangat baik dan data kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik di uji normalitasnya dengan rumus kolmogorov Smirnov, kemudian diuji homogenitasnya Pengujian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji regresi sederhana dengan hasil perhiutngan sebesar Fhitung = 25,475 dan nilai Ftabel = 4,41 Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Fhitung > Ftabel, sehingga dapat disimpulkan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penggunaan LKPD berbasis pendekatan STEM terhadap kemampuan literasi sains pada pembelajaran IPAS Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi membaca peserta didik sekolah dasar masih tergolong rendah, salah satunya disebabkan oleh pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfalatan perpustakaan sekolah terhadap kemampuan literasi membaca peserta didik kelas V SD Islam Terpadu AL Muhsin Metro tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode ex post facto. Populasi sekaligus sampel penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V yang berjumlah 78 orang dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui angket pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah dan tes kemampuan literasi membaca. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan hubungan antara variabel pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah dan kemampuan literasi membaca bersifat linear. Hasil uji regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 0,05 dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 21,9%. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan literasi membaca peserta didik sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the RADEC learning model in improving the critical thinking skills fifth-grade elementary school students in Indonesian language learning. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The research population consisted of all 38 fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Yukum Jaya, who were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using pretest and posttest. Data analysis involved simple linear regression and t-tests, which met the prerequisite tests, including normality and homogeneity. The results pf the simple linear regression analysis showed a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05, while the t-test showed a significance value of 0.044 < 0.05. Therefore, it was conclude that the implementation of the RADEC learning model was proven to be effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 10 Metro Timur. This study aims to determine the effect of the augmented reality-assisted problem-based learning model on students' critical thinking skills. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The population consists of 35 students in grades IV A and IV B, and the sample was determined using saturated sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through critical thinking skills tests. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression tests. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of the application of the augmented reality-assisted problem-based learning model on the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students in elementary school IPAS subjects, as shown by a sig value of 0.001 < 0.005.
