Abstract

This study aims to analyse how the dynamic managerial capacity and organizational readiness of the Jambi City government affect organizational performance in the digitalization transformation of this city towards smart governance. Local governments do many things to achieve the demands of regional autonomy, regional development, especially with the use of information technology, ultimately leads to the concept of smart city with one of the indicators that becomes the main intersection is smart governance This research is a descriptive-associative quantitative study that aims to describe each variable in the model, as well as find out the relationship between several variables studied, The population in this study were all Local Government Organizations (OPD) in Jambi City as many as 30 OPDs with a sample of 149 managers which are directly implement the Smart Governance agenda. The results showed the achievement of smart governance in three aspects; excellent service, bureaucratic management and decision making. All three are supported directly or partially by the dynamic managerial abilities of the head of the office and the head of the section or unit in the OPD. However, the organizational readiness of the OPD contributes negatively, meaning that all organizational components are not ready to support the transformation of smart governance and only from key managers. This study also found that another factor that is fundamental to the implementation of smart governance is the political will of the Jambi City Regional Head

Abstract

This research aims to (1) find out the level of reading habits of class XI students at SMK Negeri 7 Palembang, (2) find out the level of ability to write reviews of class with the ability to write reviews for class XI students at SMK Negeri 7 Palembang. This research uses the correlation method. The population of this study was 385 class XI students at SMK Negeri 7 Palembang. The sample for this research was 30 students consisting of 9 men and 21 women. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and description tests. Data analysis used SPSS version 26. The results obtained by students showed that (1) the level of students' reading habits was good with an average of 79. The number of students in the very good category was 3 students (10%), in the good category there were 14 students (47% ), the medium category consists of 10 students (33%), and the poor category consists of 3 students (10%). (2) the level of students' review writing ability is in the "complete" category with an average of 76.3. There were 22 students in the "completed" category (74%) and (8%) students in the "incomplete" category. Based on the data obtained, there is a relationship between reading habits and the ability to write reviews of class So these results fall within the coefficient interval of 0.40−0.599. It can be stated that there is a relationship between reading habits and the ability to write reviews of class XI students at SMK Negeri 7 Palembang, which is in the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of organizational creativity strategies in improving positional advantage in Vocational High Schools (SMK) Centers of Excellence in West Java, by considering the influence of Organizational Creativity and Partnership Program. This study uses a quantitative approach with a data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire distributed to 165 schools from a total of 288 SMK Centers of Excellence in West Java. Sampling was carried out using a stratified random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method, using a Likert measurement scale to assess the variables in the study. The results showed that Organizational Creativity and Partnership Program had a significant influence on positional advantage, with Partnership Program having a greater impact. The main finding of this study is the importance of strengthening organizational creativity in dealing with the dynamics of the external and internal environments of schools. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of two factors Organizational Creativity and Partnership Program—in developing positional advantage in SMK, which has not been widely discussed in previous literature.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of leadership on the implementation of Human Experience Management (HXM) within the Depok City Government. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, the research involved 20 participants, including structural, functional, and operational officials. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that leadership plays a pivotal role in the successful implementation of HXM, particularly in driving digital transformation and fostering changes in organizational culture. The adoption rates of HXM technology vary, with collaboration tools (90%) and employee portals (85%) showing the highest levels of usage. The transformation of the organizational culture from a hierarchical to a collaborative model has successfully enhanced employee engagement (80%) and work-life balance (85%). However, challenges such as resistance to change, technostress, and generational gaps in digital competency were identified. This study developed a comprehensive HXM implementation framework tailored to the context of local government and highlighted effective leadership practices for driving digital transformation in bureaucracy. The practical implications include the importance of a phased approach to digitalization and the development of leadership programs focused on digital competencies.

Abstract

Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia semester 4 dalam menyusun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dengan menggunakan sintaks model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBM) pada mata kuliah perencanaan pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan Mei 2023 dan berlangsung selama tiga bulan. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester 4 reguler pagi berjumlah 23 orang. Untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini, digunakan metode tes dan pengamatan. Nilai tes untuk setiap siklus akan dihitung untuk menguji hasil pengumpulan data. Dengan tingkat keberhasilan individu minimal 75 dan, secara keseluruhan, 80%, rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa semester 4 dalam program studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia diakui sebagai tingkat persentase keberhasilan belajar berdasarkan hasil setiap siklus. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan kemahiran mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia semester 4 di Universitas Tridinanti tahun akademik 2022/2023 dalam mendesain rencana pelaksanan pembelajaran dengan menggunkan sintak model pembelajaan berbasis masalah pada siklus 1 skor rata-rata 76.08 dan tingkat keberhasila  belajar 65,21%. Sikluls 2 diperoleh nilai rata-rata 79 dan tingkat ketuntasan belajar 86 %. Dengan peningkatan rata-rata pada siklus 1 (76,08) dan siklus 2 (79) sebanyak 3,31%, hasil peningkatan nilai penyusunan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran mencakup semua unsur yang dijadikan kriteria penilaian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia semester 4 Universitas Tridinanti dapat lebih mahir menyusun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan sintaks model pembelajaran berbasis masalah.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education is a process of creating a product that has uniqueness or benefits by optimizing the resources used. Nowadays, the implementation of entrepreneurial values has been carried out by pesantren, which not only focuses on the social and educational pillars. On one hand, as an effort for pesantren individuals to continuously adapt to the challenges of the times related to education and entrepreneurship, optimal utilization and application of Islamic Human Resource Management (HRM) is required. Currently, pesantren face challenges such as the lack of integration between educational and entrepreneurial curricula, the suboptimal role of pesantren leadership, and the limited use of appropriate technology. This research aims to examine strategies to enhance the role of entrepreneurship education in pesantren. The study employs a qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews with 12 pesantren leaders and direct observations at pesantren in the Sukabumi and Cianjur regions. The data analysis technique used is the SWOT Matrix, analyzed thematically to develop appropriate strategic patterns. The results indicate that with the right strategy, pesantren can become a role model in the development of Islamic economic and financial sectors as well as the implementation of Islamic HRM. This aligns with the goals of education, which are to shape individuals who are not only intelligent but also independent, productive, and possess social and spiritual sensitivity, ultimately supporting the economic independence of pesantren and contributing to society

Abstract

Recent years have witnessed a notable expansion in the number of educational facilities, reflecting a vibrant evolution within the realm of education. A heightened awareness of the importance of education is one of the factors that has facilitated the growth and development of a multitude of educational institutions. However, the primary criterion for evaluating the development of educational institutions is the quality of education they provide. This is particularly evident in the context of the proliferation of educational institutions in our environment. Educational institutions that have demonstrated robust growth are those that have developed competitive strategies by identifying and capitalizing on existing opportunities, while also pursuing continuous improvement. Achieving these goals requires the implementation of a multifaceted approach. Competitive advantage represents one such strategy, whereby institutions formulate plans to capitalize on opportunities and consumer interests by maximizing revenue from investments. This approach serves as a pivotal solution in navigating the competitive landscape of educational institutions.

However, the organizational readiness of the OPD contributes negatively, meaning that all organizational components are not ready to support the transformation of smart governance and only from key managers. This study also found that another factor that is fundamental to the implementation of smart governance is the political will of the Jambi City Regional Head. Therefore, the author recommends the Jambi city government to increase the capacity of managers within the Jambi City government more comprehensively in order to regenerate and develop prepare a master plan to target organizational capacity building in terms of infrastructure, human resources, finance, mindset and cooperation owned by the Jambi City Government.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of fintech adaptation, green finance and blue finance on financial performance moderated by digital transformation. The research was conducted on banking sub sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period of 2021-2023, totalling 141 observation data. The research results using WRAP PLS analysis found that fintech adaptation and green finance do not affect financial performance while blue finance has a significant impact on financial performance. Furthermore, the moderation test results showed that digital transformation moderates the effect of fintech adaptation and green finance on financial performance, but does not moderate the effect of blue finance on financial performance. The research findings support stakeholder’s theory, indicating that banks must play a role in providing policy support to the government in realizing environmentally-oriented investments.
