Abstract

In this paper, a proposed design, fabrication and testing of sine wave oscillator “LC” type (Hartley and Colpitts oscillator) has been performed using five approaches. The first approach proposed design is done theoretically using the basic theorems used to generate oscillations, such as the condition of oscillation criteria and determine the values of capacitor (C) and inductor (L) component, Secondly it is done using simulation technique (LTSpice IV), Thirdly the simulated design is implemented practically using IC OP-AMP 741 with passive elements such as resistors, capacitors and inductors by oscilloscope and frequency generator. Fourthly design the Hartley and colpitts tool kit by 2-D and 3-D, layouting the circuit by Eagle PCB design software then package into tool box which integrated each other. Finaly, the LC-oscillator tool kit was tested such as resistor, capasitor and inductor module and write the result into tables (for jobsheet data).

Abstract

Solar power based helmet charger is a product developed by the author and his team that was funded twice by the Ministry of Research and Technology of Higher Education in 2013 and 2014 for ‘Karsa Cipta’ (creative plan) program and ‘Kewirausahaan’ (enterpreneurship) program, respectively. This product has participated in several scientific agendas such as conferences or contests from 2013 to 2015, and is processing the proposal for patent with several claims distinguishing it from other similar innovations. This paper is contained with invention profile and achievement of qualification fulfillment of a superior innovation as well as several considerations of technopreneurship based opportunities or business prospects as a follow up research and development.

Abstract

SDN Dayeuhkolot II is one of the public elementary schools in Subang Regency, West Java province. During the new adaptation period, the teaching and learning activities were conducted online. However, the teaching and learning process has not been optimal because schools and students are not fully ready to conduct online learning. Therefore, we found some obstacles during the teaching and learning activities. To accomplish this problem, an online learning strengthening program has to be implemented in SDN Dayeuhkolot II, Subang. The program was applied only to grade IV and V students from November 17 to December 4, 2020. The implementation method consisted of planning, the main program, and evaluation. Online learning took advantage of freely available tools and was easy to operate, namely Linktree and Quizizz. Linktree served as a medium for linking links related to teaching materials, including links for access to Youtube (videos containing learning materials) and links to Google forms (student attendance, test results from programs, testimonials). The Quizizz was used as an online evaluation. This strengthening program results showed that students gave an excellent response to the use of online learning media. They are comfortable carrying out online learning through the use of Linktree and Quizizz media.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah menyebabkan proses pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring secara sepenuhnya, mulai dari KBM hingga evaluasi belajar. Hasil observasi pada sekolah SDN Wiwitan, Kampung Ciekek Desa Talun Kecamatan Ibun Kabupaten Bandung, menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan Penilaian Tengah Semester (PTS) maupun Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) dengan metode daring mengalami kendala, yaitu siswa mulai bosan dengan aplikasi yang ada. Dengan demikian, guru-guru dituntut untuk melakukan pembaruan dalam pelaksanaan ujian agar ujian tetap formal dan tetap menyenangkan bagi siswa. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah mengenalkan aplikasi Liveworksheets untuk membantu guru membuat modul interaktif yang dapat memuat kegiatan ujian siswa dengan penilaian secara otomatis. Metode dalam KKN Tematik adalah pelatihan yang dilaksanakan secara daring dengan WhatsApp Group. Materi dibagi menjadi empat task dan disampaikan dalam dua tahap, serta diikuti oleh guru kelas III dan IV. Hasil pelatihan Liveworksheets daring menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru mampu mengoperasikan liveworksheets dengan baik. Implikasinya, guru-guru dapat menumbuhkan kreativitas dan minat untuk terus melakukan pembaruan pembelajaran daring di tengah pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to support and assist teachers at SDN Bojong 01 Majalaya in Bandung Regency, West Java, in implementing distance learning. With a focus on Mathematics subject in Geometry, this service activity was carried out online with two teachers and ten fourth grade students at SDN Bojong 01, Majalaya Kab. Bandung, West Java. The facilitator creates and introduces the geoboard learning media, which can be used to calculate the area and perimeter of flat shapes, as well as the GeoGebra Classic version 6 media, which can be used to introduce spatial geometry. Learning videos are shared with students via a Whatsapp group. This activity took place from November 17 to November 30, 2020. This program was accepted by both teachers and students. Through this activity, the fasilitator can assist teachers in providing learning media as a support to students so that they can better understand the material being taught and learn geometry more easily.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                               PkM ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan (Transfer knowledge) atau mengenalkan teknologi robot kepada anak-anak desa yang sekolah di SD/SMP, yang secara khusus ditargetkan untuk Dsn. Galingan, Ds. Boreng, Kec./Kab. Lumajang, Jawa Timur. Kegiatan PkM ini diselenggarakan intuk memberikan pengetahuan dasar tentang robot sederhana Line Follower analog dan mendemonstrasikan cara kerjanya. PkM ini membekali anak-anak di desa sasaran dengan pandangan baru dalam bidang Robotika. Anak-anak di desa sasaran dipilih sebagai pilot project untuk kegiatan PkM serupa dengan sasaran yang lebih luas beberapa tahun kedepan. Kegiatan diselenggarakan satu hari saja (one-day activity), pada 31 Juli 2022 yang bertempat disalah satu warga desa sasaran. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi perencanaan, inti, dan evaluasi. Peserta antusias mengikuti kegiatan dan mendapatkan insight dari PkM ini. Diharapkan, suatu saat akan menjadi kampung model untuk hobi anak-anak dibidang robotika. Kata kunci: Transfer Knowledge, Robot Line Follower Analog, Anak-anak Desa ABSTRACTThis community service program aims to transfer knowledge to village children who study in elementary/junior high schools on robotics technology. It was specifically targeted for Dsn. Galingan, Ds. Boreng, Kec./Kab. Lumajang, East Java. This program provided fundamental knowledge about a simple analog Line Follower robot and demonstrated how it works. This program equips children in the Galingan villages with new perspectives in the field of Robotics. They were selected as pilot projects for a similar program with broader targets in the next few years; it was held for one-day activity (July 31, 2022). Implementation methods include planning, core, and evaluation. The children enthusiastically participated in the activity and gained insight. Abstract

In order to realize a high-speed visible light communication (VLC) system, digital signal processing (DSP) device is required, including the main processing unit, DAC, and ADC. This paper discusses the interface design of the DSP processing unit to 10-bit DAC and 12-bit ADC for VLC applications. The systems in DAC and ADC modules have been designed with a SoC- based approach by using processing unit based on FPGA Xilinx Zynq xc7z010-1CLG400C on the Avnet MicroZed board. The design of hardware-level-design (H/W SoC) is done by utilizing IP blocks from Xilinx using Vivado 2014.2. While the hardware-level-design (S/W SoC) is designed using Xilinx SDK 2014.2. The DSP receiver has been tested in several scenarios, the DAC module is able to convert 10-bit digital signals into analog signals in  sinusoidal form and can adjust its output frequencies, while the ADC module is capable of processing the analog signals into 12-bit digital signals with two's complement format. Keywords: ADC, DAC, DSP, system on-chip, visible light communications Untuk mewujudkan sistem visible light communication dengan kecepatan tinggi, diperlukan perangkat DSP yang memadai, mencakup unit pemroses utama, DAC, dan ADC. Pada makalah ini dirancang interface dari pemroses utama terhadap DAC 10-bit dan ADC 12-bit untuk aplikasi sistem VLC. Sistem pada modul DAC dan ADC, dirancang dengan pendekatan system-on-chip (SoC) dengan menggunakan unit pemroses berbasis FPGA Xilinx Zynq xc7z010-1CLG400C pada board Avnet MicroZed. Abstract

Hydroponic plants develop every time, and until now, many hydroponic plants are managed by the Indonesian people. The steps for producing hydroponic plants are seeding, transplanting, making hydroponic media, providing hydroponic nutrition, conditioning the water pH, and harvesting. One of the important steps to growing good plants is seeding. Therefore, a system connected to the IoT (IoT) is needed; this system acts as the main processor that can send data from sensors to users. This literature review aims to provide awareness about hydroponic plants and help farmers and the general public to more easily monitor hydroponic plants so that all people can easily do hydroponics at home using the IoT. The method used to compile this research is a literature study, searching for relevant scientific articles on the Google Scholar database using several keywords - seeding, hydroponics, IoT, and microcontrollers, with the year of publication 2016-2022. The IoT application for hydroponics provides many benefits, such as easy control for farmers from the sowing stage to irrigation. However, in the production process, the system requires appropriate parameters. The IoT-based hydroponic system facilitates seeding maintenance with the ESP8266 microcontroller, Arduino Uno microcontroller, DHT-22 sensor, PH-4502c, and TDS sensor.

Abstract

The increasing use of the internet during the Covid-19 pandemic requires people to carry out activities from home to tackle the spread of the virus. The need for innovation in shopping for sellers to meet their daily needs in serving their customers is certainly a challenge in shopping online with various obstacles and conditions. The challenge in providing information related to the goods that will be offered by buyers, of course, requires insight into presenting a product in the form of a catalog that will be loaded digitally. The product catalog is in the form of product explanations in the form of attractive images and text. Seeing the possibility of an increase in digital shopping habits, the presence or absence of Covid-19 certainly impacts the changing patterns of people's lifestyles in shopping online. Thus, the method of community service itself is carried out by preparing people in Purwakarta Regency who want to offer their products online in the form of catalog-making training, the implementation is carried out on the UPI campus in Purwakarta, and evaluation is the achievement of the training conducted by the workshop organizers. Thus, the expected results are very satisfying for the participants in terms of adding knowledge and insight, benefits and improvements in making catalog designs.

Abstract

ABSTRACTInternet of Things (IoT)  is one of the technological paradigms developed in the industrial revolution 4.0. The concept of IoT is an object can transfer data over a network without interaction from human-to-human or from human-to-computer. One of the IoT implementations in the education sector is the attendance system using IoT-based Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).  The attendance machines such as fingerprints and face recognition have a relatively high-cost compared to RFID machines. Hence, if the number of attendance machines within the School is limited, it will be less efficient for a large number of students and vulnerable to queuing. The RFID implementation in the Education sector was socialized through a Workshop with students and teachers of the secondary schools in Purwakarta, West Java, as the participants. To provide additional insight and expertise about the RFID-IoT concept to the workshop participants, this community service activity needs to be done. Several benefits will be obtained through this workshop, including saving paper use and efficiency, because the RFID-based IoT can reduce the teachers’ workload in processing the student attendance lists. Teachers are also invited to this workshop so they can guide their students and pass on the additional skills. Moreover, the invited teacher will teach new knowledge related to workshop material to other students in the School.Keywords: Internet-of-things, RFID, Mesin Kehadiran, Workshop, Purwakarta ABSTRAKInternet of Things (IoT) merupakan salah satu paradigma teknologi yang dikembangkan dalam revolusi industri 4.0. Konsep IoT adalah suatau objek dapat mentransfer data lewat jaringan tanpa adanya interaksi dari manusia ke manusia ataupun dari manusia ke perangkat komputer. Salah satu implementasinya pada bidang pendidikan yaitu sistem kehadiran menggunakan  Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) berbasis teknologi IoT. Mesin kehadiran seperti fingerprint dan face recognition memiliki harga yang relatif mahal dibandingkan mesin RFID. Sementara, jika jumlah mesin kehadiran yang ada di sekolah terbatas, hal ini sedikit kurang efisien untuk jumlah siswa yang sangat banyak dan rentan menimbulkan antrian. Implementasi RFID di bidang Pendidikan ini disosialisasikan melalui sebuah Workshop dengan siswa dan Guru dari sekolah menengah di Purwakarta, Jawa Barat sebagai peserta. Untuk dapat memberikan tambahan wawasan dan keterampilan mengenai mesin kehadiran RFID dengan konsep IoT kepada peserta Workshop, maka pengabdian masyarakat ini perlu dilakukan. Beberapa manfaat akan didapat memalui workshop ini, termasuk menghemat penggunaan kertas dan efisiensi karena RFID berbasis IoT mengurangi beban kerja guru dalam mengolah data kehadiran siswa. Guru turut diundang dalam workshop ini agar mereka dapat membimbing siswanya dan menularkan tambahan keterampilan dan wawasan yang didapat dari kegiatan PKM ini kepada siswa lainnya di sekolah..Kata Kunci: Internet-of-things, RFID, Workshop, Purwakarta
