Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of professional coaching, organizational climate, commitment, and teacher performance in junior high schools, the effect of implementing professional coaching, organizational climate, and commitment to teacher performance in junior high schools. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population is 2,028 people with a sample of 334 people. The instrument in this study was in the form of a closed questionnaire using a Likert scale. Collecting data through the distribution of questionnaires to the respondents of SMPN teachers in Tulungagung Regency. Descriptive data analysis and multiple regression. The conclusions of this study indicate that: (1) the implementation of professional development, organizational climate, teacher commitment, and teacher performance in junior high schools are in the very high category, and (2) there is a simultaneous or partial influence on the variables of the implementation of professional coaching, organizational climate. , and commitment to teacher performance in junior secondary schools. Keywords: professional coaching; organizational climate; teacher commitment; teacher performance

Abstract

Kegiatan pengembangan kompetensi yang dilakukan oleh instansi pemerintah bukanlah kegiatan sporadis tetapi merupakan sebuah kegiatan terencana yang berawal dari adanya kebutuhan dan rencana pengembangan kompetensi hasil dari kegiatan inventarisasi jenis kompetensi yang perlu di tingkatkan dari setiap PNS dan rencana pelaksanaan pengembangan kompetensi yang setiap tahun tercantum dalam rencana anggaran tahunan di setiap instansi (Pasal 205 ayat (1) dan (2) PP Nomor 11 Tahun 2017) dengan tetap memperhatikan ketentuan terpenuhinya hak dan kesempatan yang sama bagi PNS untuk ikut serta dalam kegiatan pengembangan kompetensi paling sedikit 20 (dua puluh) jam per tahun. Penulisan buku ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik adalah suatu metode yang berfungsi untuk mendeskripsikan atau memberi gambaran terhadap obyek yang diteliti melalui data atau sampel yang telah terkumpul sebagaimana adanya tanpa melakukan analisis dan membuat kesimpulan yang berlaku untuk umum. Dari hasil observasi didapatlah kesimpulan bahwa, Pengembangan kompetensi merupakan supaya yang sistematis untuk mendorong PNS untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kompetensi, Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengembangan kompetensi merupakan salah satu unsur dalam pengelolaan manajemen PNS dan menjadi bagian dari pengembangan karir, Kegiatan pengembangan kompetensi di daerah memperhatikan pada pembagian urusan kewenangan sebagaimana diatur dalam lampiran undang-undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2014 tentang pemerintahan daerah;

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the impact of facilities, infrastructure, and the quality of educational services on student satisfaction in educational institutions. The research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The population of the study consists of 3,018 students from madrasah tsanawiyah in Blitar City. The sample was obtained using proportional random sampling, resulting in a sample of 353 students. Data analysis was performed using descriptive analysis techniques and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show: (1) the level of facilities and infrastructure at madrasah tsanawiyah in Blitar City is categorized as good; (2) the quality of educational services at madrasah tsanawiyah in Blitar City is categorized as good; (3) the level of student satisfaction at madrasah tsanawiyah in Blitar City is categorized as good; (4) there is a significant influence of facilities and infrastructure on the satisfaction of students at madrasah tsanawiyah in Blitar City; (5) there is a significant influence of the quality of educational services on the satisfaction of students at madrasah tsanawiyah in Blitar City; and (6) there is a significant and simultaneous influence of facilities, infrastructure, and the quality of educational services on the satisfaction of students at madrasah tsanawiyah in Blitar City. Keywords: infrastructure, quality of educational services, student satisfaction Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam pengaruh sarana dan prasarana serta mutu layanan pendidikan terhadap kepuasan siswa di lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah siswa madrasah tsanawiyah se-Kota Blitar dengan jumlah populasi 3018 siswa. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan proportional random sampling dan diperoleh sampel penelitian sebanyak 353 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) tingkat sarana dan prasarana di madrasah tsanawiyah se-Kota Blitar termasuk dalam kategori baik; (2) tingkat mutu layanan pendidikan di madrasah tsanawiyah se-Kota Blitar termasuk dalam kategori baik; (3) tingkat kepuasan siswa di madrasah tsanawiyah se-Kota Blitar termasuk dalam kategori baik; (4) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara sarana prasarana dengan kepuasan siswa madrasah tsanawiyah se-Kota Blitar; (5) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara mutu layanan pendidikan dengan kepuasan siswa madrasah tsanawiyah se-Kota Blitar; dan (6) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan simultan antara sarana prasarana dan mutu layanan pendidikan dengan kepuasan siswa madrasah tsanawiyah se-Kota Blitar. Abstract

This research aims to determine internal and external quality assurance strategies in maintaining school integrity and community trust in order to strengthen the foundation of educational quality. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and document study. The research results show that: (1) the school emphasizes character building and improving internal quality as a strategy to maintain its integrity; (2) transparent communication and promotion of academic achievements through social media are used to build public trust; (3) the strategy used by schools to achieve an A predicate in the accreditation process is to implement team work; (4) the school takes steps to prepare for accreditation which include understanding standards, planning, team formation, submitting applications, simulations, visitations, internal evaluations, and follow-up; and (5) the school received the highest assessment in the accreditation results for the school management component and the quality of graduates. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the internal and external quality assurance strategies implemented by schools are very important to maintain school integrity and community trust in strengthening the foundations of educational quality. Internal quality assurance has a more dominant role in maintaining school integrity and strengthening the foundation of educational quality.

Abstract

Kompetensi guru yang mutlak harus dikembangkan mencakup kompetensi pedagogis, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial, dan kompetensi profesional. Salah satu tagihan dalam kompetensi profesional yang termuat dalam PKB guru adalah publikasi ilmiah yang dimuat dalam jurnal ilmiah nasional maupun internasional. Sementara itu berdasarkan analisis situasi mitra, guru-guru SDN di Kota Malang memiliki kesulitan dalam menyusun artikel. Umumnya guru-guru belum memiliki artikel sebagai produk karya ilmiah sebagai penunjang kenaikan pangkat mereka. Tujuan dari pendampingan dan pelatihan menulis artikel ilmiah ini untuk membantu guru-guru dan kepala sekolah SDN di Kota Malang dalam memahami dan melahirkan karya ilmiah berbentuk artikel layak terbit pada jurnal nasional. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan system In, On, In, dimana peserta nantinya akan mendapatkan pendampingan secara klasikal dan individual dalam pembuatan produk akhir. Evaluasi kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu evaluasi input, evaluasi proses, dan evaluasi hasil. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif diketahui bahwa tingkat evaluasi proses tergolong dalam kategori tinggi. Sedangkan tingkat evaluasi hasil tergolong dalam kategori tinggi juga.

Abstract

Manajemen adalah proses kegiatan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengontrolan, serta pemantauan (penilaian) dengan mendayagunakan segala sumberdaya yang ada untuk mencapai suatu tujuan secara efektif dan efisien. Penerapan manajemen dalam mejalankan pendidikan karakter dapat mengoptimalkan sekolah dalam mencapai tujuan karakter peduli lingkungan yang akan dibentuk pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang: (1) profil pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan SD Negeri Lowokwaru 2 Kota Malang; (2) perencanaan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan SD Negeri Lowokwaru 2 Kota Malang; (3) pengorganisasian pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan SD Negeri Lowokwaru 2 Kota Malang; (4) penggerakan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan SD Negeri Lowokwaru 2 Kota Malang; (5) pengawasan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan SD Negeri Lowokwaru 2 Kota Malang; (6) hasil manajemen pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan SD Negeri Lowokwaru 2 Kota Malang. Pengecekan kebasahan data melalui kredibilitas, transfermabilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas. Tahap-tahap penelitian yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan penyelesaian. Abstract

The Principal has a role in shaping the performance of School Administration Personnel, especially in carrying out dual duties as school operators, the dual tasks received by TAS often add to the workload and responsibilities quite large, so it requires an effective managerial strategy from the principal including improving competence through training, clear division of tasks, and the implementation of a periodic supervision and evaluation system. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method to analyze the principal's efforts in shaping TAS performance, by using literature studies to understand what is known about the topic, as well as identify gaps in knowledge, and help researchers formulate questions or hypotheses more sharply. The purpose of this study is to find out the strategies and efforts of school principals in dealing with the determination of dual tasks given to TAS, which will later find several strategies and steps for school principals in supporting TAS performance. The results of this study will show the strategy of school principals in shaping TAS performance in carrying out dual tasks such as, improving TAS performance through the leadership role of the principal, time management and division of labor priorities, improving performance through training and development, and creating a supportive work environment.

Abstract

Mewujudkan karakter peserta didik unggul pada jenjang pendidikan dasar memiliki kedudukan strategis dalam memicu pembentukan tonggak fundamental dalam hal sifat dan sikap peserta didik. Untuk mewujudkannya, diperlukan strategi dan bentuk kemitraan yang efektif dan efisien antara sekolah dan orang tua. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengungkap strategi, bentuk, dampak, faktor pendukung dan kendala pada kemitraan sekolah dan orang tua dalam mewujudkan karakter peserta didik unggul. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif teknik studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, ketua komite, koordinator bidang, wali kelas, orang tua, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi kegiatan, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data dicek melalui kredibilitas, transferabilitas, dependabilitas dan konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program kemitraan sekolah dan orang tua di SD Laboratorium UM telah dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mewujudkan karakter peserta didik unggul yang ingin dibentuk bersama melalui strategi yang direncanakan dengan efektif dan efisien untuk melaksanakan bentuk program kemitraan yang unggul.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and compare the intricate web of management practices, planning strategies, and educational policies that have shaped these two countries' educational systems. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, to provide a comprehensive analysis of the educational systems in Indonesia and Malaysia. It seeks to unravel the complex tapestry of educational management practices in both countries, exploring how decisions are made and implemented across different levels of governance. The collected data was subjected to a rigorous analysis process, employing both quantitative and qualitative techniques. The findings of this study reveal that while both countries have adopted different approaches to educational management and policy implementation, reflecting their unique historical, cultural, and geographic contexts, they share common goals of improving educational quality, access, and relevance. The insights gained from this comparative analysis can inform policy decisions and contribute to the broader discourse on education in developing nations.

Abstract

The effectiveness of school administrative staff has a very important role in supporting the smooth running of educational operations. However, in fact, there are still many shortcomings in terms of motivation and productivity of TAS (School Administration Staff) employees which cause their performance in the field to not be optimal due to the lack of professional scale training and career path mapping before they are officially assigned. Based on this, the aim of writing this article is to analyze how to increase the effectiveness of school administration staff through technology-based training programs and career path mapping. Then, this article uses an interpretive qualitative approach and literature to streamline mechanisms and speed up the discovery of new steps according to developments in the current era. Data was collected by reading various library sources and qualitative analysis sourced from various types of literature according to the object of study in the form of collecting and analyzing data through bibliographic annotation techniques accompanied by carrying out neat and structured reviews. The results of this research have shown that technology-based training can significantly improve the technical skills of administrative staff, especially in data management and use of administrative software. Apart from that, career path mapping has also been proven to be able to increase job satisfaction and their motivation to develop more professionally in the future. In the end, the combination of accurate training and clarity in career mapping will result in increased productivity and work efficiency of TAS employees. Therefore, the author recommends that all schools continue and consistently develop technology-based training programs accompanied by systematic career path mapping in order to increase the effectiveness of all school administration staff in this country.
