Abstract

The increasing presence of Islam in Europe has led to the emergence of modern mosque architecture, raising questions about its impact on Islamic identity. This study examines how modern architectural styles influence the perception and experience of Islamic identity within European Muslim communities. This research aims to analyze the architectural features of selected modern mosques in Europe and explore how these features interact with the construction and negotiation of Islamic identity among worshippers. Employing a qualitative research methodology, this study conducts case studies of several prominent modern mosques in various European countries. Data collection involves site visits, architectural analysis, and semi-structured interviews with mosque attendees and community leaders. The study analyzes the interplay between modern architectural aesthetics, traditional Islamic architectural elements, and the evolving interpretations of Islamic identity in a European context. Some mosques prioritize minimalist designs and contemporary materials, while others incorporate subtle Islamic motifs within modern frameworks. The study concludes that modern mosque architecture in Europe serves as a dynamic space where Islamic identity is negotiated and expressed in diverse ways, reflecting the complex interplay between tradition, modernity, and the specific socio-cultural contexts of European Muslim communities.

Abstract

The concept of Islamic Universal is a concept that makes Islam a multi-dimensional religion, so that it negates discrimination of religion, The research methodology in this paper uses short qualitative powerwith typelibrary  research. The data source is text-scientific textanalyzed usingcontent analisys. research results explain that All understanding of Islamic teachings values can only be achieved if the Islamic teachings concepts and characteristics are developed through a humanistic understanding that refers to its universal nature. That is why, the characteristics of Islamic teachings can be analyzed using various approaches, both normatively, psychologically, historically, philosophically, sociologically, politically, economically and various other disciplines, it also includes some fields, as like religion, humanity which discusses about education, science, culture, social, economics, politics, life, social, health, work, issues, and Islam as a scientific discipline. Muslims must be able to accommodate important things of human value in several fields of knowledge based on the Islamic teachings universalism.

Abstract

Humans are sovereign as caliphs of the earth because, as God's creatures, they differ from other species in their specificity. Humans need the means, the universe and everything in it, to actualize the meaning of the caliphate. From the perspective of the Koran, this article aims to examine more deeply the ideas about nature and humanity and their relationship. Apart from that, this article also attempts to discuss human ethics towards the environment; humans are responsible for protecting and preserving the environment. The author will use a qualitative descriptive method in studying this problem by examining the verses of the Koran that are relevant to the relationship between humans and the environment or universe. From this study, it was concluded that the relationship between humans and the natural environment is interdependent; on the one hand, humans can utilize nature for the benefit of their lives, but at the same time humans have the responsibility to care for and preserve the universe. This is possible because humans are caliphs, one of whose three things is carrying out the mandate to protect nature from damage, as well as having ethics towards nature and the environment where humans live.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengungkap salah satu metode role playing yang dilakukan oleh Guru Bahasa Arab yang masih belum baik. Mengingat metode merupakan bagian dari proses pembelajaran. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penggunaan metode role playing dalam meningkatkan kemapuan berbicara bahasa arab di SMPIT Al-Falaah Simo, dan apa faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam melaksanakan metode role playing di SMPIT Al Falaah Simo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan metode role playing serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penggunaan metode role playing dalam meningkatkan kemapuan berbicara bahasa arab di SMP IT Al Falaah Simo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan deskriftif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru Bahasa Arab dan peserta didik kelas IX b. Adapun pengumpulan datanya adalah wawancara, observasi dan tela’ah dokumen. Analisis datanya menggunakan deskriftif kualitatif. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Penggunaan metode role playing pada bahasa arab di SMPIT Al Falaah Simo, guru sudah sebagian memakai langkah-langkah metode role playing dengan baik, diantaranya guru sudah melakukan persiapan berupa pemanasan dan intruksi yang berupa arahan terhadap peserta didik, akan tetapi disini guru belum bisa melakukan tindakan dramatik yang berupa klarifikasi berkaitan dengan sistim evalusi dan penilaian, dikarenakan waktu pembelajaran yang terbatas, sehingga hal ini dapat mengakibatkan metode role playing berjalan kurang efektif.
