Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dimensi teks pada analisis wacana kritis Teun A. Van Dijk tentang padatnya arus balik mudik idul fitri tahun 2022 dalam surat kabar tanggal 6-8 Mei 2022 (detik.com dan kompas.com). Teori ini menunjukkan bahwa pesan berisi teks 3D berdasarkan teori Teun A Van Dijk. Tiga dimensi tersebut adalah superstruktur, makrostruktur, dan dimensi struktur mikro. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik mengumpulkan data berdasarkan analisa dalam berita detik.com dan compas.com. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan tiga struktur yang terdapat dari media berita. Struktur makro menunjukkan perbedaan pada konsistensi umum masyarakat secara global, berita pertama tentang dampak negatif dari kebijakan sedangkan dari berita kedua pertimbangan kebijakan pemerintah. Superstruktur terdiri dari summary (ringkasan) dan story (cerita) berdasarkan perspektif atau pandangan yang dipilih dari koherensi secara keseluruhan. Sedangkan struktur mikro terdapat kajian semantik, sintaksis, stilistik atau gaya, dan retoris, keempat kajian tersebut menunjukkan arti dari latar, detail, maksud, praanggapan, dan struktur kalimat pendukung dari beberapa sudut pandang setiap berita.

Abstract

Penelitian wacana kritis ini menggunakan metode Van Djik karena teori tersebut membahas aspek iklan secara linguistik dan sosial yang sangat relevan dengan iklan yang terdapat pada produk kopi Good Day. Iklan yang terdapat dalam kopi Good Day dipilih dalam penelitian ini dikarenakan produk tersebut sangat dikenal oleh masyarakat terutama bagi mahasiswa di Indonesia. Penelitian ini membahas tentang iklan dari kopi Good Day yang diunggah pada 26 Oktober dan 31 Agustus 2021 melalui akun resmi kopi Good Day ID pada aplikasi YouTube. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis konten dengan mengklasifikasi dan menganalisis isi teks ataupun tuturan yang terdapat dalam iklan kopi Good Day. Pada dasarnya, kedua iklan yang diunggah pada 26 Oktober dan 31 Agustus 2021 lebih menekankan bahwa kopi Good Day tidak kalah nikmat dengan produk-produk kopi yang terdapat dalam Coffe Shop dengan harga yang terjangkau dan dapat dinikmati oleh berbagai kalangan dengan beranekaragam rasa kopi Good Day.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how women victims of infidelity and violence are constructed through news texts that determine the structure and meaning of the news presented in news stories on violence against women on iNews.id published on Friday, February 26, 2021 and Thursday, April 09, 2020 This research is a qualitative research. Data collection techniques used listening and note-taking techniques with the help of data collection tables. Data analysis was carried out with a description of Sara Mills' perspective analysis to see the position of the subject-object and the position of the writer-reader. Based on the research results, it can be said that from the news of infidelity and violence against women in the iNews.id media coverage, women are constructed as subjects, not as objects of exploitation. However, in its presentation, women are still depicted as marginal, weak, powerless and sensitive women. The media coverage of iNews.id positioned the reader as the subject of ideology. The reader is brought to the position of the narrator (the storyteller) so that the reader accepts it as reality.

Abstract

This article discusses Teun's discourse analysis. A Van Dijk, namely social cognition. The discourse discusses the issue of postponing the 2024 election. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with the observation method as a data collection method. This descriptive qualitative research is used to describe the results of data collection that has been carried out by researchers through interviews and observations. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Qualitative descriptive design is used to obtain a clear, objective, systematic picture. The object of this research is the discourse that appears in the Newscast program for the heated debate on allegations of postponing the 2024 election. The critical discourse analysis of Teun A. van Dijk analyzes text analysis, social cognition, and social context. The result of this research is that in macro structure, super structure, and microstructure, discourse can be used as a means to shape the speaker's opinion through the right choice of words, sentence structure, and style.

Abstract

This article describes Fairclough’s normative critical discourse on physical insults to children with Lesti Kejora using Norman theory. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, listening method and literature study. The observation method was also applied in this study. This study also uses a note-taking approach. The survey consists of three phases: a data acquisition phase, a classification phase, and a data analysis phase. This study uses two news media, Suara.com and Herstory, based on the analysis of Fairclough's theory, bullying the child of artist Lesti Kejora. The data analysis technique used is reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The purpose of the study was to find out how the two SH media (Suara.com and Herstory.ac.id) obtained information about the physical insults of Lesti Kejora's children. The theory used in this study is a three-dimensional model from Norman Fairclough, namely the micro, mesostructural, and macrostructural dimensions. Microstructural analysis that describes the negative and positive sides of physical abuse of children with Lesti Kejora, mesostructurally how the media obtains information related to physical abuse of children. Social situations depicting children's physical appearance as monkeys are associated with children's physical humiliation.

Abstract

This article focuses on the discourse of feminism, which describes how the position of women is expressed in the text. The news contained explaining the incident of rape on students carried out by the Quran teacher which was alleged to have been done repeatedly, the news became the material object of this research. Discourse analysis is a qualitative approach to analysis that considers the meaning of the text. Each text, in essence, can be understood differently, in various ways. Material objects are analyzed using the Sara Mills point of view. The result of the research shows that the perspective of women shows the weak position of women. Even though the incident was indeed carried out by the perpetrator based on the victim's testimony, it has an impact on the view or image of a woman who remains bad in the eyes of the reader even though it is a woman who is a victim.

Abstract

In general, this paper discusses and describes critical discourse analysis on the news of "Sabyan Gambus Band Group" using Norman Fairclough's theory. Through this analysis of Norman Fairclough's critical discourse, it is possible to find findings about the ideology contained in the news in various existing media. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, listening method, and literature study. The stages of this research are divided into three categories, namely the data collection stage, the data classification stage, and the data analysis stage. Data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of data analysis are presented in a narrative and descriptive manner. The theory used in this study is a three-dimensional model from Norman Faircglough, namely the micro, mesostructural, and macrostructural dimensions. The results of this study indicate that the five news media, which is abbreviated as S3PD, explain various kinds of realities that appear with different characters in the selection of titles and discourses. Based on Microstructural Analysis, there are linguistic studies; based on Mesostructural Analysis, there is the use of five discourse media and text consumption; and based on Macrostructural Analysis in the coverage of the Sabyan Gambus Band Group, it was found that the current social level circulating in society. Four out of five media covering the Sabyan Gambus Band Group focused on the negative aspects, while only one focused on the positive.

Abstract

This research is qualitative research. This study aims to ensure that gender equality is not differentiated between men and women, because women also must get more attention. The data collection technique is done by analyzing online news. The Sara Mils model will be used as a reference for discourse analysis. The discourse analysis of the Sara Mills model will focus on the discourse of feminism, where a text will represent a woman. The Sara Mills method will examine two things, namely: first, who is the actor who will be positioned in the news and the interpreter of an event that occurs in the text. Second, how a reader will be positioned in the news text to see what the author wants the reader to do. There is injustice and bad judgment about a woman because women are often depicted and considered inferior to men in a text. The results of the study indicate that women are objects whose positions are often the subject of conversation for victims of sexual abuse, so they cannot present their own position. Through an analysis conducted on CNN Indonesia media, it shows that women who are victims of rape experience suffering, fraud and sexual violence that occurred during three days in a row.

Abstract

Film as an audio-visual communication medium to convey a message to a group of people gathered in a certain place. As a media, many things can be conveyed to the public. One of them is the film "Joko Widodo". By using the critical discourse analysis of Teu A Van Dijk, the film "Joko Widodo" signifies an interpretation that tends to have the meaning of explaining the background of life and the way of politics of a Joko Widodo. This film tends to construct and create ideas so that the audience sees Jokowi as a leader who was born as a people and becomes a leader for the people. The reality of this film is included in the activities of a political campaign, because the film aims to build an image that you want to doctrine in the subconscious of the community. The reality of the film is built as a process of interaction with the community, so that it is not easily lost from the collective memory of the community. The reality of this film is not only made as a reflection of the character and appreciation in the life of a political figure, but this film is deliberately designed as a media for political campaigns.Keywords: Film, Critical Discourse Analysis, Teu A Van Dijk

Abstract

Wacana biasanya digunakan sebagai untuk memayungi penggunaan bahasa yang sangat luas, wacana terbagai dari beberapa wacana akademik, wacana politi,wacana berita dan wacana kuliah. Wacana merupakan satuan bahasa yang lengkap, dalam hierarki gramtikal yang memiliki satuan gramatikal terbesar atau tertinggi. Berita merupakan informasi mengenai peristiwa atau kejadian yang pentig diketahui oleh masyarakat, disampaikan secara tulis maupun lisan. Dengan demikian, membaca berita artinya membaca bentuk laporan tentang suatu kejadian yang sedang terjadi. Metode yag digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analisis dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam pembahasan adalah data hasil pendeskripsian dari teks berita, kajian teori Van Dijk. Penelitian ini membahas analisis teks wacana kritis teori Van Dijk dalam teks berita Bayi Kembar Siam Dempet di Kamber Perscut Sei Tuan. Untuk menganalisis suatu teks, ada beberapa elemen yang harus diperhatikan. Menurut Van Dijk, teks berdiri dari bebera elemen, yaitu tematik, skema, latar, detail, maksud, koherensi, bentuk kalimat, kata ganti, leksikon, dan praanggapan.
