Development urgency in the border area is can not touches all of community aspects in life. While the implementation of development is not equal for people who live in the border area. This paper described about women empowerment of Bidai plaiting. One of the community business border rely on local resources is the product of Bidai. This paper using secondary of the data and field observation, then analized in the form of descriptive research. Based on the field data and analysis showing that the government and stakeholder is to be an effort to community empowering, mainly woman in the developing business of Bidai craft.

Human Trafficking is an extraordinary crime which happened in the modern era today. In the origin first time, this crime has been exist in the centuries years ago. In Southeast Asia Human Trafficking fall in transnational crime; which is the offender take action is inter-country. In this paper discussed about Human Trafficking in women which occuring in border area between West Kalimantan, Indonesia and Serawak, Malaysia. Method used in this research is descriptive analysis by collecting data over secondary data from various field such as books, scientific journals, and others. Basically, phenomena trafficking in person on women have occured in the border area West Kalimantan in which not seen like human trafficking cases. Mode of used in this cases is the recruitment to work in household or companies in Malaysia. While actus was done by illegal agent, they are passing through illegal way. The things being factor of the occurrence of trafficking in person is education and poverty experienced by women.

This paper investigates the child-marriage in West Kalimantan. This study took Desa Cowet who is inhabited mainly by Dayak Mali. The issue of child-marriage is perpetuated by the Law in Indonesia. The effort to eliminate child-marriage is often difficult due to the high-rate of poverty among Dayak Mali people. Within Indigenous Law, there is no specific rules that arrange child-marriage or age of minimum to marriage. What is stated is usually the approval of both parents to the couple. Child-marriage among Dayak Mali, this study confirmed, is basically mostly triggered by poverty of girls in villages. Poor girl of Dayak Mali are basically prone to child-marriage.

Language as an object of sociolinguistic studies have the power when we discuss about the cultural roots. Language is not only used as a means of speaking, but also as a means to see the line and relations of a society with people outside of their communities, culturally. Indonesia society in general a little multiplicity has a history associated with the culture of the Thai community, and vice versa. The Association of this culture can be examined in terms of the language that is part of it. This paper examines about quasi dialect between Dayak languages phasa Thai Benawan West Kalimantan, where at some language line has equation. This paper uses qualitative approach method of Sociolinguistics as blade data analysis. Between Dayak languages Benawan and phasa Thai has some words in their pronunciation is similar to the meaning of the same word, then pronounced the same as the meaning of different words as well. This dialect can be outlined at the root of language between the Dayak clumps with phasa Thai which is similar or allied.

Tulisan ini ingin menempatkan gejolak perjuangan kelas—pemikiran Karl Marx—sebagai bahan kajian analisis kritis dalam melihat upaya perjuangan pengesahan RUU Penghapusan Kekerasan Seksual di Indonesia, utamanya dalam aksi mahasiswa bersama dengan rakyat pada gerakan #GejayanMemanggil, #RakyatGugatNegara dan aksi lainnya di berbagai wilayah di Indonesia. Ide utama dari esai ini adalah bahwa teori kelas Marx hadir berdasarkan filosofi pemahaman terhadap fenomena sosial; adanya pembagian kelas pada masyarakat itu sendiri. Pada studi ini dilihat adalah kelas penguasa (pemerintah; negara) dan kelas rakyat biasa. Marx berkeyakinan bahwa inklusivitas dalam masyarakat hanya dapat tercapai melalui perjuangan kelas. Tulisan ini menggunakan jenis metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan kajian pustaka. Eksplorasi data sekunder dalam tulisan ini didapatkan melalui penelusuran tulisan ilmiah dan tulisan populer seperti jurnal, tulisan di koran, media daring dan buku yang terkait dengan tema dalam tulisan ini. Berdasarkan analisis data, temuan dalam kajian ini bahwa pada konteks perjuangan perempuan (secara organisasi dan individu) dan orang-orang yang memiliki kepedulian pada kekerasan seksual di Indonesia, menghadapi tantangan perjuangan kelas perempuan dalam mendesak pengesahan RUU penghapusan kekerasan seksual menjadi Undang-Undang

This article using perspective of sociology of love in described love and see how love are very resilient with the Indonesia culture of patriarchy, included the description of masculinity love. Love used as an anomaly that is absolutely. Even absolute backfire for mankind cult of love. Sociology of love is not lay away to love as selfish person, on the other hand the power of love which dispatch people to peace. The illustrations and examples in this paper is based on knowledge and personal experience of mine. This paper write done by digging of various sources reference, which is I speculate by inference Freud said that love in now is still in animality essence. The masculine love is still adhered to this esence, and still alives in Nusantara’s culture.

The issue of indigenous women is closely related to the issue of poverty. Women who inhabit rural areas in Indonesia cannot separate from the conditions of life that are poor and completely limited. This paper tries to reflect Karl Marx's thoughts about poverty and injustice that occur in a country because of a structured system. This paper uses a qualitative approach by presenting primary and secondary data. Primary data collection through interviews and field observations, while secondary data through reading readings of scientific studies results in journal articles, policy papers, and government agencies' data. The results of this paper presents: 1) The concept of Marx that poverty is the expression of structural poverty; 2) Poverty among indigenous Dayak Benawan women in rural West Kalimantan, Indonesia, is not only cultural but also structural poverty that expressed limited access to education, health, and a decent standard of quality life; 3) From the era of classical philosophy to modern technology era today, the poverty that has occurred centuries ago today, indigenous women of Dayak Benawan in rural areas are still faced with.

This paper aim to describe the development of the phenomena of Drugs Trafficking that occurred in Indonesia-Malaysia border region at Jagoi Babang, Bengkayang Region, West Kalimantan Province. Drugs trafficking through the territory of border region is not a new issues. This issue has been very long and seemingly without a settlement rises. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data that is processed in the form of primary data through observation and secondary data from various sources. Based on the facts and the secondary data were analyzed it was found that the border region is still very vulnerable to the growing of drugs trafficking. Poverty being one cause factor towards the border residents participate in the development of this phenomena. The security limitations of the PLB (cross border post) as well as the large number of "jalur tikus" in the border region of Jagoi Babang became a trigger of Drugs Trafficking in the border region.

Social stigma increasingly embedded on gay in Indonesia that in fact its construction through the mass media both online and offline. Enforceability moral stigma that could be used in the society then caused the deal to deny the existence of gays in the social environment and social community. The power of media that sustain public opinion to the attitudes of the public in assessing the pseudo created normalisme. This article would like to explain that the “normal” and “abnormal” that is superficial, the irresponsible human constructions then perpetuated by human followers are also blind and also irresponsible.
