Abstract

This study aims to find out 1) Production of mixed agricultural system between cocoa and durian and 2) Income of mixed agricultural system between cocoa and durian in Matanggorai Village, TPadangguni District, Konawe Regency. The research was conducted in Matanggorai Village, Padangguni District, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. This research starts from March to June 2024. The population in this study is all farmers who apply the Mixed Cocoa and Durian agricultural system in Matanggorai Village, Padangguni District, Konawe Regency as many as 20 people. The sample determination technique used in this study is using the census sampling method. The census sampling technique is a technique characterized by taking the entire population as a research sample, so that the sample used in this study is 20 people. The data analysis used is revenue analysis, production analysis and Joint Cost. The results of the study showed that the production of Mixed Farming Between Cocoa and Durian in Matanggorai Village, Padangguni District reached Rp 1,639,092.08/season. This productivity reflects the efforts of farmers in implementing efficient cultivation techniques and the use of appropriate inputs to support farming. The average income of farmers who apply the Mixed Agriculture system between cocoa and durian in Matanggorai Village is Rp 20,4299,696.9/season.This sizable net income shows the effectiveness and efficiency in farming, as well as the high profitability potential of the implementation of the cocoa and durian mixed agriculture system in this region

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Determine the number of seaweed farming labor hours in Ghone Bhalano Village, 2) Determine the total income from seaweed farming in Ghone Bhalano Village, and 3) Analyze the influence of labor on seaweed farming income in Ghone Bhalano Village. This research was conducted from May to June in Ghone Bhalano Village, Duruka District, Muna Regency. The research location was determined purposively. The sample in this study consisted of 34 farmers and was determined using the census method. Data analysis used HKP analysis, simple linear regression analysis, and income analysis. The results showed that labor had a real and significant effect on income. The average income of seaweed farmers during one growing season is IDR 1,799,448

Abstract

This study aims to 1) analyze the added value generated from ginger chips processing in Ulusena Village, Moramo District, South Konawe Regency, and 2) analyze the profitability generated from ginger chips processing in Ulusena Village, Moramo District, South Konawe Regency. The research was conducted in Ulusena Village, Moramo District, South Konawe Regency from October to November 2024. The subjects of this study were the Women's Farmers Group (KWT) who are both the owners of the business and the processors of ginger chips products in Ulusena Village, Moramo District, South Konawe Regency. The added value of ginger chips processing was analyzed using the Hayami method, and the profitability of ginger chips processing was analyzed using the profitability analysis. The results of the study show that: 1) The difference between revenue and total production cost results in a net profit of IDR 1.288.959 per month. This profit reflects the profitability of the Harapan Jaya ginger chips processing business after deducting all production costs from the total revenue generated, indicating that the business has good financial performance, and 2) The added value generated from ginger chips processing is IDR 1,000 per kg with an added value ratio of 1.26%. This shows that although there is an increase in value from raw material to finished product, the increase is not very significant

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat kelembagaan petani pemakai air irigasi serta meningkatkan kemandirian kelompok dalam menghadapi tantangan seperti perubahan iklim, keterbatasan air, dan konflik antar pengguna serta memanfaatkan dan memelihara sumber daya air irigasi secara efisien. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode game experiment yakni eksperimen sosial yang didesain sebagai simulasi situasi riil yang dihadapi subjek, dalam hal ini petani. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Game Experiment sangat efektif dalam menggambarkan perilaku kolektif petani dalam mengatur pemanfaatan air irigasi. Hasil simulasi memperlihatkan bahwa para petani cenderung memilih game III, yaitu mekanisme pengawasan sebagai strategi utama untuk memastikan distribusi air yang adil, efisien, dan berkelanjutan. Preferensi terhadap pengawasan ini muncul karena dianggap mampu meminimalkan konflik, mencegah penggunaan air yang berlebihan, serta memperkuat kepatuhan antaranggota kelompok. Pelatihan ini menegaskan bahwa keberlanjutan pengelolaan irigasi tidak hanya bergantung pada ketersediaan infrastruktur, tetapi juga pada penguatan kelembagaan yang di dalamnya. Kata Kunci: Kelembagaan; Irigasi; Padi Sawah; Berkelanjutan.
