Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk membekali siswa untuk mengenal dan memahami mengenai kesadaran kesehatan mental dalam membentuk karakter, memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya kesehatan mental, memberikan kiat-kiat pada siswa yang mengalami permasalahan kesehatan mental. Pemahaman kesehatan mental sangat penting bagi peserta didik di sekolah menengah atas agar mereka dapat menjaga kesehatan mental mereka, menghadapi tantangan hidup dengan baik, dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka secara keseluruhan. Oleh karena itu, dirasakan sangat perlu dilakukan seminar kesehatan mental dalam membentuk karakter siswa sebagai kegiatan pengabdian di kalangan remaja pada jenjang sekolah menengah atas. Pelaksanaan seminar kesehatan mental dilakukan dengan memberikan materi pokok yaitu : a). Materi Pengenalan Tentang Kesehatan Mental, dan b). Macam-macam permasalahan kesehatan mental disekolah dan kiat menanggulanginya. Setelah kegiatan diharapkan siswa dapat memahami konsep kesehatan mental, dapat mencegah hal-hal yang akan berdampak pada permasalahan mental, serta dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan terkait mental dengan kiat-kiat yang sudah diberikan. Peserta seminar yang terlibat dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat program studi bimbingan dan konseling berjumlah 3 kelas dengan siswa sebanyak 66 orang, didampingi oleh 2 guru BK, 5 dosen BK dan 1 staf program studi BK serta 3 mahasiswa Prodi BK.

Abstract

Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah faktor dan dampak dari kecanduan menonton idol Kpop yang membuat peserta didik berperilaku fanatik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bantuan kepada peserta didik yang terkena dampak dari kecanduan menonton idol Kpop sehingga membuat peserta didik berperilaku fanatik. Bentuk penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus dengan metode deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan melalui observasi dan wawancara sehingga ditemukan 3 subjek kasus yaitu FO, CF dan LM. Faktor yang menjadi penyebab 3 subjek kasus ini kecanduan dalam menonoton idol Kpop karena tidak memiliki kesibukan saat di rumah sehingga aktivitas yang dilakukan hanya menonton saja, yang mengakibatkan ketiga subjek kasus kecanduan dan berujung tidak dapat mengatur perilakunya sendiri pada saat di sekolah. Faktor lainnya adalah orang tua subjek kasus yang juga menyukai idol Kpop. Perilaku fanatik yang ditunjukan oleh 3 subjek kasus membuat mereka terlihat berbeda dari teman sekelasnya. 3 subjek kasus ini perlu mendapatkan bantuan berupa layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik self-control. Setelah diberikan layanan, 3 subjek kasus berhasil mengontrol dirinya dengan baik hingga dapat keluar dari permasalahan yang mereka rasakan.

Abstract

in this study, class VII students at SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak will have their self-confidence tested to see how well group counseling using the self-modeling technique performs. Based on these issues, the researcher aims to see if using self-modeling strategies in group therapy will help students feel more confident. Pre-Experimental Design with a Pre-Test - Post-Test One Group Design was the study methodology that was employed. Purposive sampling was used to select subjects or samples using a non-probability sampling technique. Seven individuals with poor self-esteem were selected at random from a group of 70 people; these individuals were class VII students. According to the computations, the average pre-test value was 71 and the average post-test value was 114 before treatment. The Paired Sample T-test is then used to generate a T count of -24.631 and a Sig (2 tailed) value of 0.00 0.05, indicating that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. As a result, there was a noticeable difference between the students' levels of self-confidence before and after receiving group counseling at SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak to boost class VII students' self-confidence using a self-modeling strategy.

Abstract

Belalek is a basic term used by the Sambas Malay community to refer to the word mutual cooperation , the word belalek usually specifically refers to agricultural activities, but in general the word belalek has a broad meaning which includes aspects of an attitude of cooperation and togetherness. Belalek cultural tradition activities have been around for a long time and there are social values and local wisdom which aim to develop the value of mutual cooperation and the value of solidarity which can be implemented in schools to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. This research was designed using qualitative research methods using a library research approach . Apart from this method, the researcher also used an interview method with one of the residents of the Sambas Malay tribe, namely a resident of Tri Kembang Village, Galing District, regarding the philosophical basis of Belalek which is closely related to the independent curriculum, especially in developing an attitude of mutual cooperation in students. So that the strengthening values of the Pancasila student profile are varied, such as mutual concern, harmony in society, discipline, moral education, leadership and so on, all of which are included in in aspects of the philosophical foundations of Belalek

Abstract

Bullying is bad behavior carried out by a person or group repeatedly with the intention of hurting someone. It is hoped that parents can shape the character of their children at Islamic boarding schools so they can learn religious knowledge. Bullying is one of the biggest sins in education that still occurs today. The researchers conducted research with the aim of finding out the psychological impact of students and finding out the causes of bullying at the Kubu Raya Islamic Boarding School. This type of research uses qualitative research with a library research approach. The techniques used were interviews and observations of bullying cases which had an impact on the psychology of students at the Kubu Raya Islamic boarding school. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that victims of bullying prefer to remain silent when being bullied, because they are afraid of being bullied who will hurt themselves and the victim has difficulty reporting the incident to a caregiver or teacher. This makes victims of bullying harbor feelings of hurt, anger or pent-up emotions and will have difficulty making friends. One other way victims of bullying do this is to be alone. The boarding school students will carry out activities alone or the victims of bullying do not have many friends.

Abstract

The emergence of intense discussions about character formation is being widely discussed in the world of Indonesian education. Issues such as bullying, violence, intolerance, pornography, elements of SARA, corruption, manipulation, lies in the world of education ranging from cheating on exams to plagiarism, as well as the lack of role models among state leaders, are all actually related to character issues. In an effort to implement character education in an educational institution, the values of character education can be instilled in the learning process of implementing the project based learning model or included in literacy activities in language month activities through students' poetry anthology works by creating works without containing elements of SARA, pornography, bullying, violence and intolerance. This research was conducted using literature study to explore the character education taught in Indonesian language learning in high schools in poetry anthologies. This study concludes that in implementing Indonesian language learning, teachers need to understand the concept of character education and act as curriculum implementers and facilitators for students at school. This aims to ensure that students not only have good competence, but also have commendable behavior.

Abstract

This research is a literature review that explores the use of Scratch learning media in the context of computer systems learning. The literature review method is used to combine and analyze research results that have been previously published in national journals. Scratch, as a visual programming platform, has played an important role in supporting programming learning and understanding of computer concepts at various levels of education. In this research, researchers collected references from previous studies that are relevant to this topic. With a descriptive approach, this research explains and analyzes the development of Scratch use in various forms, including online Scratch projects and Android-based applications. The research results show that Scratch has facilitated more interactive, in-depth, and creative learning for students, increased interest in programming, and expanded inclusive learning opportunities across a variety of subjects. These studies reveal a wide variety in the use of Scratch, from evaluations of its effectiveness to its impact on students' concept understanding and creativity, reinforcing Scratch's role as an educational tool that supports problem solving and concept mastery. In an ever-evolving educational context, Scratch shows exciting and varied potential, leading to a more dynamic and inclusive educational future.

Abstract

Intolerance refers to negative attitudes toward differences, including differences in religion, race, ethnicity, culture, gender, sexual orientation, or political views. It is important to address intolerance in educational settings by implementing approaches that encourage inclusion, diversity, and education about tolerance. The method used in analyzing the impact of intolerant behavior on the psychology and character of students at the high school level is a literature study research method by collecting study material through reading, writing and compiling from various sources. The conclusion from the impact of intolerant behavior on the psychology and character of students at the high school level is that intolerant behavior can have a serious impact on the psychology and character of high school age children. Children exposed to intolerant attitudes may experience emotional stress, insecurity, social isolation, and negative impacts on their identity. Parents and educators must play a role in shaping children's positive perceptions of cultural and social diversity and helping them understand the importance of respecting differences. Education that promotes open dialogue, empathy and understanding of differences is an important step in reducing the impact of intolerance on the psychology of high school aged children.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan umum dalam penelitian ini adalah: Peningkatan Kemampuan Sains melalui Kegiatan Pencampuran Warna pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun di TK IT Anak Shaleh Mempawah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran sains melalui kegiatan pencampuran warna pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK IT Anak Shaleh Mempawah. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Pada setiap siklus dilaksanakan 2 (dua) kali pertemuan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas terhadap 20 orang dengan prosedur penelitian terdiri dari: persiapan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan atau observasi, dan refleksi. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari siklus pertama pertemuan 1 dan 2 anak belum memiliki kemampuan menyebutkan jenis-jenis warna dan anak belum dapat menunjukkan hasil pencampuran warna merah dan biru, serta anak belum dapat menunjukkan hasil pencampuran warna biru dan kuning, yakni dengan kategori cukup sedangkan pada siklus kedua pertemuan kedua semua anak tuntas dalam menyebutkan jenis-jenis warna dan anak dapat menunjukkan hasil pencampuran warna merah dan biru, serta anak dapat menunjukkan hasil pencampuran warna biru dan kuning yakni dengan kategori baik. Saran dalam penelitian ini, guru hendaknya kreatif menyiapkan alat peraga sains, persiapan pembelajaran sains dan memberi reward kepada anak.   Kata Kunci : Sains, Pembelajaran, Kegiatan Pencampuran Warna Abstract: The general objective of this research is: Upgrades Color Mixing Science through activities in Childhood 5-6 Years in TK IT Anak Shaleh Mempawah. This study was done to improve the learning process of science through color mixing in children aged 5-6 years in TK IT Anak Shaleh Mempawah. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. At each cycle conducted two (2) meetings. The method used is descriptive method with a form of action research on 20 people with the research procedure consisted of: preparation, execution, observation or observation, and reflection. This is evident from the first cycle of meetings 1 and 2 children do not have the ability to mention the kinds of colors and the children can not show the result of mixing red and blue, as well as the child has not been able to show the result of mixing blue and yellow, ie with enough categories while at the second cycle of the second meeting all the children thoroughly in mentioning the types of color and children can show the result of mixing red and blue, as well as children can show the result of mixing blue and yellow that good category. Suggestions in this study, teachers should be creative on a prop in science, science lesson preparation and giving rewards to the child.   Keywords: Science, Learning, Color Mixing Activity

Abstract

This research aims to describe teachers' strategies for instilling the value of honesty in children aged 4-5 years in class a at Al-Adabiy Kindergarten, Pontianak City. This research uses a descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. This research focuses on teachers' strategies for instilling the value of honesty in children, including teacher strategies in planning and implementing learning to instill the value of honesty, as well as the encouraging and inhibiting factors for teachers in instilling the value of honesty in children. The data obtained in this research was collected from observations, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that the planning carried out is that the teacher prepares a learning plan which includes activities that can develop the value of honesty and prepares media that can support the values ​​of honesty according to the learning objectives to be achieved. At the implementation stage, teachers apply the values ​​of honesty through learning activities and use exemplary methods and methods of giving advice. The supporting factor for teachers in instilling the value of honesty in children is awareness of the importance of honesty. The inhibiting factor for instilling the value of honesty is the lack of sufficient and effective training to teach and instill the value of honesty.
