Abstract

Desa Sumberahayu, Kecamatan Limbangan, Kabupaten Kendal memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan budidaya alpukat berkat kondisi tanah yang subur dan iklim tropis yang mendukung. Namun, praktik budidaya yang masih tradisional, menyebabkan rendahnya produktivitas dan kualitas buah, serta terbatasnya pengetahuan petani terhadap teknik perawatan yang efektif. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas petani dalam pengelolaan tanaman alpukat melalui penyuluhan dan pendampingan teknik pemupukan serta perawatan pohon yang berkelanjutan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi edukasi melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, praktik lapangan, dan aplikasi pupuk oleh petani mitra. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan petani dalam menerapkan pemupukan berimbang, pemangkasan pohon yang tepat, serta manajemen budidaya yang lebih efisien. Selain itu, kegiatan ini memperkuat kolaborasi antara masyarakat dan akademisi dalam mengembangkan praktik pertanian yang ramah lingkungan. Program ini memberikan dampak sosial berupa perubahan perilaku petani menuju sistem pertanian yang lebih produktif dan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi terhadap pencapaian SDGs 2 (Zero Hunger) dan SDGs 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) melalui peningkatan kapasitas petani dan penguatan sistem pertanian berkelanjutan di Desa Sumberahayu.

Abstract

Inflow in Jatiluhur Reservoir located on the Citarum River is influenced by outflow from Cirata Reservoir and Saguling Reservoir which are above it. These three reservoirs are incorporated in the Citarum Cascade System Reservoir. This inflow analysis is related to the availability of water in the Jatiluhur Reservoir, which is a multi-purpose reservoir, which then becomes the mainstay of the water supply as a hydropower operation pattern. Runoff rain modeling using HEC-HMS software using data on rainfall, temperature, land cover, soil type and topography. Parameters generated from observation and modeling are coefficient of determination (R2), Nash-Stuclift (NSE), and Percent Bias (PBIAS). The results of the case study show that the parameters of the observed local inflow (R2: 0.693; NSE: 0.525; PBIAS: 9.88%) with data sources from the Jatiluhur Reservoir manager are better than the local inflow analysis results (R2: 0.533; NSE: - 0.457; PBIAS: 48.88%) with data sources from water level (TMA). Meanwhile, the total inflow of observations (R2: 0.982; NSE: 0.973; PBIAS: 1.14%) with data sources from the Jatiluhur Reservoir manager is better than the total inflow analysis results (R2: 0.932; NSE: 0.889; PBIAS: 9.43 %) with the data source from the water level (TMA).

Abstract

In 2023, Indonesia recorded 370,747 work accident cases across various sectors, with the construction sector contributing the highest percentage at 40%. Many accidents are caused by limited understanding and low compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) procedures. Improving OSH understanding can be achieved through education, especially in vocational schools. SMK Negeri 3 Semarang has implemented an independent curriculum with a teaching factory system, but there is still no systematic OSH guide for soil measurement learning. Therefore, this study aims to develop a more structured and innovative QR Code-assisted OSH guide for soil measurement.This research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The sample consisted of 70 Phase E students from the Construction and Housing Engineering program. Data analysis included validation by material experts and media experts to determine feasibility, practicality tests through teacher and student questionnaires, and effectiveness tests using pretest and posttest results. The data were first tested for normality and homogeneity before being analyzed using the T-Test and N-Gain test. The results showed that both material and media expert validations reached 91%, while the practicality test scored 92%. The effectiveness test produced an N-Gain score of 79%, categorized as effective. These findings indicate that the QR Code-assisted soil measurement OSH guide is feasible, practical, and effective in improving students’ understanding and implementation of OSH procedures.

Abstract

Soil liquefaction is a major geotechnical hazard that can cause bearing capacity loss, lateral spreading, and flowslides, particularly in mildly sloping ground. Loose, saturated sands with shallow groundwater tables are highly vulnerable because seismic shaking induces contraction and generates excess pore water pressure (EPWP). Although several countermeasures have been proposed, systematic evaluations of micro-piles (MP) and soil grouting (GT) under mildly sloping liquefiable ground remain limited. This study addresses this gap through three-dimensional finite element simulations in OpenSeesPL using Chi-Chi earthquake loading. Design parameters considered include pile length, diameter, and spacing for MP, as well as grouting depth and improvement ratio for GT. The results show that both MP and GT effectively delay the buildup of EPWP. However, MP consistently provides better control of lateral deformation, whereas GT primarily reduces settlement but may increase inertia due to added unit weight. Sensitivity analyses highlight the critical influence of pile geometry and spacing in MP performance, and depth and improvement ratio in GT effectiveness. These findings indicate that MP is more suitable for sites prone to lateral spreading, while GT is advantageous for conditions requiring settlement control. The outcomes provide practical guidance for engineers in designing liquefaction mitigation strategies in earthquake-prone regions.
