Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the learning outcomes of students with the application of Direct Instruction learning in making ribbon embroidery in class XI Clothing 2 SMKN 3 Kediri. This study is a descriptive quantitative study using a one-shot case study research design. This study was located at SMKN 3 Kediri City in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The population and sample used purposive sampling techniques totaling 30 students of class XI clothing 2. The research instrument used a learning outcome assessment rubric that had been set in the school curriculum. The data collection technique used ribbon embroidery outcome assessment. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that the learning outcomes of students applied to Direct Instruction learning had satisfactory results, as evidenced by the data on student learning outcomes in making ribbon embroidery with the application of Direct Instruction getting 100% of students completing the results from 30 students in class learning, which can be categorized into very good criteria.

Abstract

Barong Ider Bumi is a ritual tradition to ward off disaster for the Osing community located in Kemiren Village, Glagah District, Banyuwangi. The uniqueness of the Barong Osing form which contains philosophical meaning is the basis for the inspiration for the creation of exotic dramatic clothing. Forms based on oriental aesthetics and sensibilities inspire the combination of clothing into an exotic dramatic style to display traditional elements that are packaged in a modern way to have a different style that shows a comprehensive visual representation of strength and intensity. This study of creative practice aims to describe the process of creating exotic dramatic clothing with Barong Ider Bumi as its inspiration. The method used is Practice-Ied Research, namely research based on the practice of the creative process by Hendriyana (2021) which consists of four stages including: (1) the exploration stage related to the exploration of information on sources of ideas, (2) the design stage in the form of making sketch designs, (3) the embodiment as the process of realizing the selected design and evaluation, and (4) the presentation stage of the work. The result of this creation is three exotic dramatic outfits consisting of one men's outfit and two women's outfits that will be presented at the 35th annual fashion show "Jagad Osing".

Abstract

Omprog, or the crown of the seblang dancer in the Seblang ritual ceremony in Olehsari, Banyuwangi, became the main inspiration for the creation of gala evening wear. The purpose of this creation is one of the creative ways in fashion design that can enrich the wardrobe by blending culture with modern style. The method used to achieve this goal involves four stages: exploration, design, realization, and presentation, by applying the exploration results of techniques and materials to produce appropriate details. This creation is inspired by the artist's belief that Omprog possesses a beautiful, unique, and mystical visual form and has yet to be conceptualized by previous designers. The type of practice-led research approach that underpins the creation of this work was conducted through a study of fashion design studio practices focusing on "Omprog as Inspiration for Creating Evening Wear Gala." This creation process results in three evening wear gala pieces presented as a fashion show at the Annual Fashion Show UNESA 35th "Jagad Osing" with an outdoor concept and scientific articles.

Abstract

Project Based Learning is a learning model which provides opportunity for teachers to manage learning by involving project work. The aims of this research are 1) to determine the implementation of Project Based Learning model in subject making work clothes, 2) to determine the level of students creative thinking abilities in subject making work clothes, and 3) to find out students responses to the application of Project Based Learning in subject making work clothes. This research use quantitative descriptive with experimental methods. The research procedure consists the planning phase, implementation phase, and final research phase. The research instruments used were: 1) observation sheet, 2) test sheet, and 3) student responses questionnaire sheet. The results shown that 1) Project Based Learning model gets an average result of 84.3%, which is in the good category, 2) the results of the affective test got an average score of 72.51% in the creative category, and 3) students responses to application of the Project Based Learning model in subject of making work clothes got an average of 82.94% which was in the Very High category.

Abstract

This research applied to 21 of 12th grade Fashion Extracurricular students of Vocational Senior High School Tekstil Pandaan. The purpose was to (1) describe the validation level of Tiktok platform as a learning media; (2) describe the student learning result after the learning media was given; and (3) describe the student response after the learning media was given. Method used in this research was Research and Development with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The learning media were validated by media and subject experts using media validation form, applied in class with project assignment given in assignment form, and applied google form to get the student to respond. Data analyzed in a descriptive qualitative way. The result shows that the video tutorial learning media gains the result score of 4,55 of maximum 5, concluded as very valid, the video learning media can help students reach eligibility level of 100% of 75% minimum standard, concluded as eligible, and the results of student responses reached 60% for the strongly agree category and 40% for the agree category regarding the use of Tiktok media as learning media for Fashion Design extracurricular at Pandaan Textile Vocational High School.

Abstract

In the learning process in class X of SMK majoring in Fashion Design, there are Basic Elements of Fashion Design which cover various topics. One of the topics taught is about the parts and forms of clothing. The teaching method applied is appropriate, but there needs to be development of the learning media used, namely e-modules, to make it easier for educators and students during the teaching and learning process. For this study, the Research and Development method was used by applying the ADDIE model through a series of steps, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. These stages are carried out to collect information about user needs, followed by development activities to create products. The findings of this study indicate that the level of validity of the e-module based on the assessment of media experts, material experts, and language experts reached an average of 3.28, falling into the very valid category. The results of classical student learning on the use of e-modules as learning media got 93.3% and were categorized as very good. Student responses to the e-module learning media regarding parts and forms of clothing recorded a score of 79.8% which was also in the very good classification. Therefore, it can be concluded that the e-module on clothing parts and forms is very valid for use in teaching because it is able to optimize student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Modul merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran dalam satuan pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) Mengetahui tingkat validitas modul persiapan pembuatan busana kebaya 2) Mengetahui respon siswa terhadap modul persiapan pembuatan busana kebaya 3) Mengetahui hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan modul persiapan pembuatan busana kebaya. Jenis penelitaian yang digunakan oleh peneliti merupakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti yakni validasi ahli, angket, dan penugasan. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan menghitung rerata (mean) dan menghitung presentase ketuntasan siswa. Hasil penelitian menyatakan: 1) Tingkat validitas mencapai skor rata- rata 3,66 dengan kategori layak 2) Respon siswa mencapai skor rata-rata 4,54 dengan kategori sangat layak 3) Hasil belajar siswa mencapai tingkat ketuntasan 91% siswa dinyatakan tuntas.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of students participation in learning process, making students less active. The use of developments ICT in collaboration with learning models is used as an alternative solution to this problem. This research aims to increase students' activeness in participating in learning activities with the research subject being students of class X Fashion Design 2 at SMK Negeri 3 Kediri. The type of research used is Pre-Experimental with a One-Shot Case Study design. Data collection was carried out using observation sheet instruments, cognitive tests, and student response questionnaires. The research results showed of student activity observations reached 85% with a very good category. Student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain which obtained an average of 85.31 and the percentage of learning outcomes reaches 93,75% with very good criteria. Student responses obtained an average score of 3.37 with very good criteria. It can be interpreted, application of the Telegram Bot based on the Discovery Learning model is able to increase student activity, is feasible, interesting and easy to use in the learning material for textile fibers from cellulose in class X Fashion Design 2 at SMK Negeri 3 Kediri.

Abstract

Blended learning is a learning mode that combines face-to-face (offline) learning and e-learning. Blended learning can be used by teachers to help achieve effectiveness and learning goals. The aim is to find out the implementation of blended learning in making kebaya patterns according to design, find out students' responses to the implementation of the blended learning mode, and find out the effect of blended learning on student learning outcomes. This research is a quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental research with a quantitative approach. Involving research subjects who were class XI Fashion Design 4 students, totaling 32 students, this research used data collection methods is observation, questionnaires and assessment tests. The results of the research show that the application of the blended learning mode in making kebaya patterns in observing teacher and student activities obtained a good category. Student responses using the blended learning mode obtained a very good category. Student learning outcomes using the blended learning mode reach completion in the complete category.

Abstract

This research is creation research that raises local cultural values ​​as an alternative innovation amidst the dominance of Western styles in the fashion industry. The Tikel Balung traditional house is a cultural heritage of the Osing tribe that is still preserved today. The shape and philosophy of the house are a source of inspiration in creating a ready-to-wear deluxe with a transformation concept. This research uses the practice-led research creation method with the aim of 1) describing the creative process of compiling sources of ideas. 2) describing the process of creating collections, 3) describing the finished results. 4) describing the presentation of the collections. The results of this study include: 1) the creative process of compiling sources of ideas that are manifested in a mood board, 2) describing the process of creating collections based on the practice-led research method, starting from pre-design, design, manifestation, to presentation of works, 3) describing the finished results of three collections, consisting of two women's clothes and one men's clothes with a transformation concept, and 4) presenting collection in three activities: pre-event, event, and post-event.
