Abstract

Purpose This research analyzes the characteristics and determinants of repeat users of Implan contraception in Surakarta. Method This is a quantitative-research using a cross-sectional survey approach with 117 purposively selected samples. Data was collected using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability using the Cronbach's Alpha formula, with a reference value of ≥ 0.07. The data was analyzed through univariate and bivariate analyses using the chi-square test and multivariate analysis with logistic regression. The analysis was developed through a three-stage backward conditional modeling process. The first stage involved screening variables that met the criteria for inclusion in multivariate analysis. The second stage analyzed variables that were significantly related to the dependent variable. In the third stage, the variables contributing the most to the dependent variable were determined. Results: In the first stage of modeling analysis, it was found that the education level variable could not be included in the multivariable analysis. In the second stage, six variables were analyzed, and only three variables showed a strong and significant relationship, which were employment status with an Odds Ratio (OR) of 3.05, parity with an OR of 4.62, and the age of the last child with an OR of 2. In the third stage, by examining the magnitude of the Odds Ratio, it was determined that the parity variable with an OR of 4.62 was the strongest variable related to the dependent variable. Conclusion; The characteristics of repeated Implan method users are working mothers, having children aged at least three years, having at least two children, being married for more than 10 years, and having both male and female children.

One of the treatments for hypertension is complementary therapy such as yoga therapy. Objective: This research aims to determine the changes in blood pressure as a result of the implementation of yoga exercises in hypertensive patients in Jebres Village, Surakarta City. Methods: This research used a descriptive case study method by observing 2 female respondents aged 45-55 years who were given the implementation of yoga exercises for 4 meetings in 2 weeks with a time of ± 15-20 minutes. Abstract

Babies born with LBW conditions are more susceptible to disease and have a smaller chance of survival. Low birth weight (LBW) babies can cause developmental disorders both cognitively and motorically. Sleep is an important stage in repairing the neurological system in newborn babies. Poor quality sleep can cause illness and also cause psychological problems in LBW babies. Various developmental care efforts are made to minimize the negative impacts that arise during the treatment period, namely by optimizing the sleep quality of LBW babies, one way is by implementing nesting. Find out the results of the implementation of Nesting on the Sleep Quality of Low Birth Weight (LBW) Babies at the Ir. Soekarno Sukoharjo Regional Hospital. This type of research is a case study that uses descriptive pretest posttest design research methods and uses measurements of baby sleep quality. The results of the application to 2 respondents which were carried out for 2 days showed that there was an effect of nesting on improving the sleep quality of LBW babies. There were differences in the results before and after the nesting intervention on the sleep quality of LBW babies.

Abstract

Sectio Caesarea is considered very risky to be carried out by mothers who are about to give birth, due to the method that requires opening the wall or in medical terms Trans Abdominal Uterine Incision with pain that will be felt by a mother, which is a stressor that will be felt by the mother biologically which is felt physically. psychological and physical. The non-pharmacological techniques that can be used to reduce postoperative pain is early mobilization techniques. Early mobilization techniques are effective in reducing pain through several mechanisms, including eliminating the patient's concentration at the location of the pain in the operating area, reducing the activity of chemical mediators in the inflammatory process which increases the pain response. and minimize pain nerve transmission to the central nervous system. This research aims to know the results of implementationEarly Mobilization of Reducing Pain Intensity in Post Sectio Caesarea Mothers. This study used a quasi-experimental design with the pretest-posttest Nonequivalent Control Group design methodwithcase study descriptive method to 2 respondentsPost Sectio Caesarea. Based on the results of the implementation that has been done there is a decrease in pain intensity in patientspost sectio caesarea after being given the application of early mobilization.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is commonly referred to as high blood pressure. A person has hypertension if his systolic and diastolic blood pressure has risen above 140/90 mmHg. Hypertension is the leading cause of premature death worldwide with more than 1 in 4 men and 1 in 5 women and more than one billion people experiencing the condition (WHO, 2020). Non-pharmacological therapy acupressure therapy can be an option for the elderly to overcome hypertension. Objective: To describe the results of the comparison of blood pressure reduction in the elderly before and after the application of acupressure therapy on 2 (two) respondents. Methods: This study uses a descriptive method, selecting samples according to the inclusion criteria and selecting 2 elderly respondents who experience hypertension. The research instrument used a digital Sphygmomanometer and the research was carried out 15 minutes for 3 consecutive days. Results: There was a decrease in systolic pressure in Mrs. T by 10 mmHg and a decrease in Mrs. P's systolic pressure by 7 mmHg. While the diastolic pressure of Mrs. T was 12 mmHg and Mrs. P decreased by 10 mmHg. The results of the application of acupressure therapy on both respondents showed a change in blood pressure reduction from previously included in the classification of grade 1 hypertension to high normal. Conclusion: There are differences before and after acupressure in elderly hypertension.
