Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of the revised edition of the revised edition of the Indonesian Advanced Bahasa Indonesia (MARBI) textbook. The assessment of the feasibility of a textbook is based on BSNP standards by analyzing four feasibility including content feasibility, linguistic feasibility, presentation feasibility, and graphic feasibility. This research is included in descriptive qualitative research. The data source of this research is the opinion of the Indonesian language teacher who has used the textbook and the revised edition of the MARBI textbook for grade VII. The data in this study are textual units and non-textual units. Data collection techniques with document analysis, interviews, and fry charts. The data collection instruments used were assessment sheets based on the BSNP, interview guidelines, and fry charts. The validity of the data in this study was obtained from the triangulation of data sources, triangulation of theories, and triangulation of data collection methods. Data analysis was performed interactively with data reduction procedures, data presentation, and drawing conclusions / verification. The results of the feasibility analysis of the MARBI textbook were the content / material feasibility with a value of 76.62%; 2) linguistic feasibility with a value of 82.85%; 3) the feasibility of serving with a value of 83.33%; and 4) the feasibility of the graphics with a value of 82.61%. This feasibility still needs guidance from educators.

Abstract

One of the factors causing a change in the sound of Indonesian environmental factors. For example the word /Sabtu/ in Indonesian commonly pronounced /Saptu/. It is seen a [b] turned into a [p] as a result of the influence of the sound [t]. This paper aims to explain the change of sound in speech used students in IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. The results showed that students in IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon less careful in using pronouncing. Students still mixing the languages to official situations with language in informal situations.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the writing skills of the students at the boarding school in terms of form and rules of Indonesian. This research strategy using case studies from August to November 2013. Data selected with purposive sampling techniques consisting of, 15 male students and 15 female students. Data were collected through: 1) observation, 2) interview, 3) sheets of observations, and 4) test. Validity reached by: 1) triangulation of data sources, 2) triangulation of data collection methods, and 3) review of informant. Data analysis use traditional two stages, ie, classifying and interactive analysis model of Miles. The results are: 1) the students do not understand the type or form of composition description; 2) there are errors on: (a) the use of capital letters, (b) the use of letters or italics, (c) the use of punctuation comma, (d) condensation said, (e) writing 'di' as preposition and 'di' as affix, and (f) writing the correct word in accordance EYD; 3) students do not understand the process of forming a word; 4) students have not been able to write a sentence properly and effectively; and 5) students do not understand and pay attention to the meaning of sentences.

Abstract

Banyak mahasiswa yang berusaha belajar bahasa Inggris. Hal ini tentu saja berpengaruh terhadap keberadaan bahasa Indonesia. Seiring berjalannya waktu, sangat mungkin jika bahasa Indonesia sudah jarang digunakan dan digantikan oleh bahasa asing. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari Mei sampai Oktober 2017. Adapun populasinya adalah seluruh mahasiswa berbagai perguruan tinggi di Cirebon, baik bidang umum, agama, maritim, maupun kesehatan. Sampel penelitian adalah masing-masing satu kelas dari 38 perguruan tinggi yang ada di wilayah Cirebon. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa memiliki sikap bahasa yang baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan pemahaman akan kaidah bahasa Indonesia yang sudah baik juga. Demikian juga pada aspek afektif. Meskipun memelajari bahasa asing, mahasiswa tetap bangga dan menggunakan bahasa Indonesia. Adapun faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kecenderungan sikap bahasa tersebut: 1) mahasiswa menyadari peran penting bahasa Indonesia dalam pendidikan, 2) mahasiswa lebih percaya diri jika berbicara dengan menggunakan bahasa Indonesia, dan 3) mahasiswa yakin bahwa bahasa Indonesia akan tetap eksis karena banyaknya jumlah penggunanya. Many students are trying to learn English. This, of course, affects the existence of Indonesian language. As time passes, it is possible if the Indonesian language is rarely used and replaced by a foreign language. This research is conducted from May to October 2017. The population is all students of various universities in Cirebon, both general, religion, maritime, and health. The sample of research is each one class from 38 universities in Cirebon region. Based on data analysis it can be concluded that students have good language attitude. This is evidenced by the understanding of the Indonesian rules that have been good as well. Likewise on affective aspect. Despite learning foreign languages, students remain proud and speak Indonesian. The factors that cause the tendency of language attitude are: 1) the students realize the important role of Indonesian language in education, 2) the students are more confident when speaking in The Indonesian language, and 3) the students are convinced that The Indonesian language will still exist because of the large number of users.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan pembelajaran, (2) mendeskripsikan model pembelajaran berbasis riset, dan (3) mendeskripsikan pendapat mahasiswa terhadap model pembelajaran yang digunakan di Jurusan Tadris Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini berbentuk deskriptif eksplanatif. Adapun data penelitian berupa 11 mata kuliah pada Semester Genap Tahun Akademik 2015/2016. Data dikumpulkan dengan tiga (3) cara, yakni observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi, baik sumber data maupun metode pengumpulan data. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) secara umum, pembelajaran di Jurusan Tadris Bahasa Indonesia menggunakan ceramah dan diskusi; 2) hanya satu mata kuliah yang menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis riset; 3) mahasiswa beranggapan bahwa model pembelajaran yang digunakan di Jurusan Tadris Bahasa Indonesia IAIN Syekh Nurjati kurang variatif. This study aims to: (1) describe the learning, (2) describe the research-based learning model, and (3) describe the opinion of students to the learning model used in the Indonesian Education Department. This study was a descriptive explanation. The research data on 11 subjects Semester, Academic Year 2015/2016. Data collected by three (3) different ways, including observation, interviews and document analysis. The validity of the data using triangulation techniques, both data sources and data collection methods. Data were analyzed using interactive analysis. These research results show that 1) in general, learning at the Indonesian Education Department using lecture and discussion; 2) only one course that uses research-based learning model; 3) students thought that learning model used in the Indonesian Education Department, IAIN Syekh Nurjati less varied.

Abstract

Connectionism theory view that learning occurs by experimenting and making mistakes, as well as language learning in early childhood. Each early childhood initially tries to speak and make mistakes before they become accustomed to the pronunciation and correct. Any child's vocabulary has increased and finally to convey the intent and purpose to his interlocutor well. The process can be seen from the process of learning a second language in early childhood. In second language learning is done by younger children show conformity of laws and principles of learning connectionism theory. Giving the prize being a stimulus of children to learn and motivated to recite the words proposed as a form of positive response. Reduced average number of repetitions of the first week as many as seventeen times to three times in the fourth week is a proof of principle trial and error learning proposed by Edward Thorndike. Factors second language learning is strongly influenced by age, first language, language development and motivation.

Abstract

Use appropriate teaching methods teachers' creativity. Learning foreign languages, especially Arabic Arabic Intensification Program IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon using various methods. Inquiry method, question and answer, and the group is a method of teaching according to the constructivist approach. Constructivist theory of learning understood as the process of formation (construction) knowledge by the learners themselves. Interest in constructivist theory encourages authors to observe the application of constructivist theory in a group of 28 Intensification Program Arabic IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. Results observation is that the Arabic language learning in a group of 28 Intensification Program Arabic IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon approach constructivism theory.

Abstract

An official letter created and issued by an institution can be one indicator, whether or not the institution. This study aims to describe the language used in the official letter of the Cirebon City Religious Office. This descriptive qualitative research takes data in the form of letters issued from January to March 2019. Based on the analysis it can be concluded that the writing of the address, writing the name, writing the day, writing the affix, greeting, closing greeting, describing the description of time, lacking letters or words, particles, and pre-bound forms. The factors causing language errors, among others: copy-paste, do not know, not careful, and do not care. Therefore, it is recommended that socialization of PUEBI and KBBI V be implemented, Law No. 24 of 2009, training in writing official letters, and preparing guidelines for writing official letters.Surat resmi yang dibuat dan diterbitkan oleh suatu lembaga dapat menjadi salah satu indikator, baik tidaknya lembaga tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bahasa yang digunakan pada surat resmi Kantor Agama Kota Cirebon. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini mengambil data berupa surat yang diterbitkan dari Januari sampai Maret 2019. Berdasarkan analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa penulisan alamat, penulisan nama, penulisan hari, penulisan imbuhan, salam pembuka, salam penutup, pemerian keterangan waktu, kurang huruf atau kata, partikel, dan bentuk terikat pra-. Adapun faktor penyebab kesalahan bahasa, antara lain: salin tempel, tidak tahu, kurang teliti, serta tidak peduli. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar dilakukan sosialisasi PUEBI dan KBBI V, penerapan UU No. 24 Tahun 2009, pelatihan penulisan surat dinas, serta penyusunan pedoman penulisan surat dinas.

Abstract

Literary work is a socio-cultural documentation. This is because the socio-cultural influence the creation of works of literature itself. Following the feminist studies on novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk and Perempuan Berkalung Surban. The research is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique document. Based on the analysis it can be concluded that the RDP and PBS equally raised about women, especially girls. Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk exploit girls economically while Perempuan Berkalung Surban not provide an opportunity for girls to determine their own lives. Both novels are equally illustrate inequities in girls.

Abstract

This qualitative descriptive study aims to describe learning with HOTS content for students as prospective teachers. The study population consisted of all lecturers and students of the Indonesian Department of Social Sciences FITK IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. The research sample included: 4 lecturers and 117 students. Data was collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The results of the study indicate that learning in the Indonesian Department of Social Sciences has been loaded with HOTS. However, there are still characteristic institutions and faculties that have not been charged with HOTS. Therefore, it should be necessary to improve the lecturers who are characteristic of the Institute and Faculty. Learning courses that characterize the Department have carried out HOTS activities. The course characterization bills are not only in the form of papers, but products. These products can be enjoyed by the general public, both in the form of performances and books.Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran bermuatan HOTS bagi mahasiswa sebagai calon guru. Populasi penelitian terdiri atas semua dosen dan mahasiswa Jurusan Tadris Bahasa Indonesia FITK IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. Adapun sampel penelitian, meliputi: 4 dosen dan 117 mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, wawancara, dan pengamatan. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran di Jurusan Tadris Bahasa Indonesia sudah bermuatan HOTS. Namun demikian, masih terdapat mata kuliah penciri Institut dan Fakultas yang belum bermuatan HOTS. Oleh karena itu, hendaknya perlu ada perbaikan bagi para dosen pengampu mata kuliah penciri Institut dan Fakultas. Pembelajaran mata kuliah penciri Jurusan sudah melakukan aktivitas HOTS. Tagihan mata kuliah penciri Jurusan tidak hanya berupa makalah, tetapi produk. Produk tersebut dapat dinikmati oleh masyarakat umum, baik berupa pementasan maupun buku.
