Abstract

Learning literature in universities has not been able to increase creativity even though many models have been used. Therefore, this study aims to describe the effectiveness of the learning model based on creativity development in improving students' literary appreciation abilities. This quasi-experimental research uses a Quasi-experimental Design model of the Non-Equivalent Before-after Design. The population includes students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program at the University of PGRI Madiun and STKIP PGRI Pacitan. Sample selection was done randomly. Data were collected through a short story appreciation ability test. Data analysis was carried out in two stages, namely the analysis prerequisite test stage and the data analysis stage. Data analysis used independent t-test. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the learning model based on creativity development can improve students' ability to appreciate short stories. This enhancement has proven to be very effective. However, the application of this learning model needs to be supported by the environment, facilities, and curriculum.

Abstract

Poetry is a means of conveying ideas. Wiji Thukul is a poet who was allegedly lost because of his poetry. This study describes the textual strategy or strategy of writing poetry that Wiji Thukul took in his symbolic contestation in the Indonesian literary arena during the New Order era. This research uses Pierre Bourdieu's cultural production theory to describe and explain Wiji Thukul's literary problems, both intrinsic and extrinsic, simultaneously. The data source of this research is the poetry anthology written by Wiji Thukul. The research data is in texts related to the textual strategy of writing Wiji Thukul's poetry on his symbolic contestation during the New Order era. Data were collected through document study and interviews. Data were analyzed with content analysis based on the mechanism of Krippendrof, including a) identifying Wiji Thukul's textual strategy in his symbolic contestation, which was used as material for analysis, b) classifying analysis units according to the problem in the study, c) conducting unit analysis to explore the findings that have identified, and d) determine aspects of the findings to make inferences and draw conclusions. The results of this study: 1) Wiji Thukul used a textual strategy by writing romantic-religious poetry from 1980-1985, 2) Wiji Thukul used a textual strategy by writing critical social poetry from 1985-1990, and 3) Wiji Thukul used a strategy textual by writing party poetry in the period 1990-1998.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a product in the form of a prototype of a basic web-based BIPA learning media. This study uses the Borg & Gall research and development (R&D) method which is limited to the revision stage based on expert assessment. The steps used in this research are 1) potentials and problems; 2) data collection; 3) product design; 4) design validation; and 5) design revision. Based on these five steps, research activities will be divided into two major stages, namely the preliminary stage and the design stage. The data used in the preliminary stage is a word or sentence sourced from some literature as well as videos related to potential and problems that occur in the BIPA learning program. The data used in the product design stage is the results of the preliminary stage and expert assessment of product design. The results of this study are in the form of BIPA learning web products with the status that the product is considered a prototype ready for limited trials. This study concluded that the web-based basic-level BIPA learning media product prototype was declared feasible (within a limited scope) with a feasibility level of 71.52%

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe language errors at the level of spelling, morphology, and sentences in explanatory texts written by class VIII students of MTs Plus Al Bukhori. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive design. The data collection method used documentation, data validity used theoretical triangulation, and data analysis used the distribution method. The results showed that in the explanatory text there were 152 spelling errors, 5 morphological levels, and 11 syntactical levels. This research is oriented towards the background of language errors, so that it can be used as a reference material for not making similar mistakes and is able to provide linguistic insight. Keywords: explanatory text, morphology, spelling, syntax   Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan berbahasa pada tataran ejaan, morfologi, dan kalimat dalam teks eksplanasi yang ditulis oleh siswa kelas VIII MTs Plus Al Bukhori. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, validitas data menggunakan triangulasi teori, dan analisis data menggunakan metode agih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam teks eksplanasi terdapat 152 kesalahan ejaan, 5 tingkat morfologis, dan 11 tingkat sintaksis. Penelitian ini berorientasi pada latar belakang kesalahan berbahasa, sehingga dapat dijadikan bahan rujukan untuk tidak melakukan kesalahan sejenis dan mampu memberikan wawasan linguistik. Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of learning to read at the beginning of mild mentally retarded children at SLB-C Pancaran Kasih Cirebon City. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Furthermore, data collection techniques and instruments in this study used observation and interviews using observation guidelines and interview guidelines. Then the data analysis techniques in this study were carried out by data reduction, data display, and making conclusions/verification. The results and discussion of this study indicate that there are 4 students with mild mental retardation in grades 7 and 8. The reading ability of a student named A (7) reaches the level of reading certain alphabets and syllables. D (7) has reading skills that are only up to the level of being able to read the alphabet with guidance. Furthermore, students named B (8) have the ability to read the alphabet fluently and are able to read syllables and words that have been repeated in each lesson. The same thing is also owned by a student named R (8), he is able to read the alphabet fluently, syllables, and certain words.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran membaca permulaan pada anak tunagrahita ringan di SLB-C Pancaran Kasih Kota Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan pada  penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Selanjutnya, teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan wawancara dengan menggunakan pedoman observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Kemudian teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan reduksi data, data display, serta membuat kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil dan pembahasan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 4 siswa tunagrahita ringan pada kelas 7 dan 8. Kemampuan membaca siswa bernama A (7) sampai pada taraf membaca abjad dan silabel tertentu. D (7) memiliki kemampuan membaca yang hanya sampai pada taraf mampu membaca abjad dengan bimbingan. Selanjutnya, siswa benama B (8) memiliki kemampuan membaca abjad dengan lancar, mampu membaca silabel dan kata yang telah diulang pada setiap pembelajaran. Hal yang sama juga dimiliki siswa bernama R (8), ia mampu membaca abjad dengan lancar, silabel dan kata-kata tertentu.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to: (1) describe the physical structure of the mantra poem "Jampe Nyeuri Beuteung" in Sundanese culture, (2) describe the inner structure of the mantra poem "Jampe Nyeuri Beuteung" in Sundanese culture. The method of analyzing the research data is descriptive qualitative. The results show that in the Jampe Nyeuri Beuteung mantra poetry there is a physical and mental structure. The physical structure of the mantra includes word choice (diction), figurative language, imagery, rhyme, rhythm, typography. The inner structure of the mantra is the theme of healing, having a weak feeling due to pain, spoken in a tense tone, aiming to treat stomachaches, and the message contains that the person who casts the mantra hopes that he will be given a cure for illness. Poetry as learning material in Indonesian subjects can provide added value in the student learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan membuktikan keefektifan media audiovisual terhadap keterampilan menulis cerita inspiratif di MTs Salafiyah Bode. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimen dengan bentuk One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX MTs Salafiyah Bode dengan jumlah 173. Dari populasi tersebut terpilihlah sampel kelas IX-A dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sample. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi dan soal. Uji validitas menggunakan pengujian validitas konstruk. Uji reliabilitas menghasilkan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,647. Hasil uji normalitas menggunakan nilai Sig. Monte Carlo menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,354 yang mana lebih besar dari 0,05. Hasil uji homogenitas memiliki Sig. 0,290. Analisis data dengan uji t satu sampel menghasilkan ?????? < ? yaitu 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media audiovisual efektif terhadap keterampilan menulis cerita inspiratif.This study aims to describe and prove the effectiveness of audiovisual media on inspirational story-writing skills in MTs Salafiyah Bode. The method used in this study is experimental research. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a form One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study was all grade IX students of MTs Salafiyah Bode with a total of 173. From this population, class IX-A samples were selected using the Purposive Sample technique. The data collection techniques used are observation and tests. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and questions. Validity testing uses construct validity testing. The reliability test resulted in a reliability coefficient of 0.647. The results of the normality test using the Sig. Monte Carlo value produces a significance value of 0.354 which is greater than 0.05. The homogeneity test result has a Sig. of 0.290. Data analysis with a one-sample t-test yields a P-value < α of 0.000 < 0.05. This shows that audiovisual media is effective against the skill of writing inspirational stories.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of folklore-based serial image media in learning to write narrative texts for elementary school students. This research uses a development research approach using ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Exploratory studies were conducted in 10 elementary schools and trials were conducted in 3 elementary schools in the Madiun City area. Data collection in exploratory studies used observation, interviews, and documents, while questionnaires were used to obtain input and assessment from experts, teachers, and students. Data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis. The results showed that folklore-based serial image media is feasible to be used in learning to write narrative texts for elementary school students. Folklore-based serial image media has also proven effective in improving students' narrative text skills.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the form of language errors, namely pronunciation, and dictionerrors. This type of research is qualitative using a qualitative descriptive method. The technique used in data collection is to listen to the advanced technique, be free to engage in conversation, and take notes. The data collection instruments in this study were using data cards, documentation, and questionnaires. The data in this research are in the form of words from the pronunciation of President Joko Widodo and the source of this research data comes from the video of President Joko Widodo’s speech on Youtube. The data validity technique usestriangulation of methods and theories. The data is confirmed to be the same even though using different methods. In addition, the data was checked based on phonological theory. The data were analyzed using the agih method, with the determinant of the relevant language being the target object of the research. The steps taken when analyzing data are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study, namely language errors in the pronunciation field in the video of President Joko Widodo’s official speech on Youtube in 2019, there were pronunciation errors due to phoneme changes, omission, and addition. Errors the level of diction, namely in the use or choice of words that are not correct. Tahus, the results of this study are implemented in Indonesian language learning in junior high school class IX. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk kesalahan berbahasa, yakni pada kesalahan pelafalan dan diksi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu simak dengan teknik lanjutan bebas libat cakap dan catat. Instrumen pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan kartu data, dokumentasi, dan angket. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kata dari pelafalan Presiden Joko Widodo dan sumber data penelitian ini dari video pidato Presiden Joko Widodo di Youtube. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi metode dan teori. Data dipastikan sama meskipun dengan menggunakan metode yang berbeda. Selain itu, data dicek berdasarkan teori fonologi. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode agih, dengan alat penentu dari bahasa bersangkutan yang menjadi objek sasaran dari penelitian. Langkah-langkah yang ditempuh ketika menganalisis data adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan simpulan. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: kesalahan berbahasa pada bidang pelafalan dalam video pidato resmi Presiden Joko Widodo di Youtube tahun 2019 terdapat kesalahan pelafalan karena perubahan, penghilangan, dan penambahan fonem. Kesalahan pada tataran diksi yakni pada penggunaan atau pemilihan kata yang tidak tepat.

Abstract

The existence of the BIPA Institute at IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon will also influence higher education accreditation. One component of the BIPA Institute is the curriculum. This research aims to develop the BIPA curriculum in the Indonesian Language Tadris Department. This qualitative research uses descriptive methods. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation from the BIPA Institute at IAIN Surakarta, IAIN Tulungagung, Yogyakarta State University, and Sebelas Maret University Surakarta. Data were analyzed using the steps of collection, presentation, reduction and drawing conclusions. Validity of data using triangulation: theory, time, sources, methods, and researchers. The research results show that the development curriculum: 1) is new to planning, 2) pays attention to learner needs, 3) uses culture as media and material in learning, and 4) needs to receive support for facilities and infrastructure from IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon.AbstrakKeberadaan Lembaga BIPA di IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon akan turut memengaruhi akreditasi Perguruan Tinggi. Salah satu komponen Lembaga BIPA adalah kurikulum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangan kurikulum BIPA di Jurusan Tadris Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dari Lembaga BIPA di IAIN Surakarta, IAIN Tulungagung, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, dan Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. Data dianalisis menggunakan langkah pengumpulan, penyajian, reduksi, dan penarikan simpulan. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi: teori, waktu, sumber, metode, dan peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kurikulum: 1) baru pada perencanaan, 2) memperhatikan kebutuhan pemelajar, 3) menggunakan budaya sebagai media dan materi dalam belajar, serta 4) perlu mendapat dukungan sarana dan prasarana dari IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon.
