Abstract

Masyarakat merupakan manusia yang senantiasa berhubungan (berinteraksi) dengan manusia lain dalam suatu kelompok. Kehidupan masyarakat yang selalu berubah (dinamis) merupakan sesuatu yang tidak dapat dihindari. Manusia sebagai makhluk sosial selalu membutuhkan manusia lainnya untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya, sebuah keniscayaan manusia bisa hidup secara individual dalam lingkungannya. Manusia selalu memiliki rasa untuk hidup berkelompok akibat dari keadaan lingkungan yang selalu berubah atau dinamis. Perubahan-perubahan tersebut memaksa manusia memakai akal, inovasi dan kreatifitas. Menyusul masa renaisans, terasa perlu adanya perubahan metode pengkajian sumber-sumber keislaman, untuk memungkinkan menghadapi kecenderungan modern di bidang sains, filsafat, dan kebudayaan barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang sosial bermasyarakat, tingkat toleransi dinamika masyarakat di Desa Marancar Julu, serta peran pendidikan karakter anak terhadap toleransi terhadap perbedaan terkhusus perbedaan Agama di lingkungan Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitiannya adalah fenomologi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kerukunan umat beragama dapat diwujudkan dengan saling menghargai, faktor persamaan suku dan komunikasi antar warga yang baik. Toleransi beragama merupakan sikap saling menghormati dan menghargai atas kepercayaan agama masing-masing saling menerima dan keterbukaan terhadap agama yang lain.

Abstract

This article aims to find out the influence of group guidance services in increasing the self-confidence of madrasah students through group discussion techniques. This research uses the quantitative research method OneGroup Pretest-Posttest Design Experiment. In the validity and reliability test of the 30 statement items in the form of a selfconfidence scale created by the researcher, there were 24 statement items that were valid for use with the results being said to be valid if the calculated r was > from r table with the r table value at the 5% significance level being 0.2787. In the reliability test, Cronbrach alpha data was obtained with a Cronbroach Alpha value greater than 0.05 (0.759 > 0.05). The population in this study were all class VIII students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Islamiyah Gunting Saga with a total of 60 students with a sample of 10 students, all of whom had a low sense of self-confidence and were participants in this research. In sampling, the researcher used a purposive sampling technique, namely a sample selection method with predetermined criteria, which was the chosen sampling strategy. Data analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, and the results showed that the significance value was asymp. Sig(2-tailed) ≤ of 0.05, namely 0.005. Based on research that has been conducted, the self-confidence of class VIII students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Islamiyah Gunting Saga can be increased through group guidance services using discussion techniques which have shown significant results.

Abstract

Based on the results of initial observations, some students have problems with student learning independence, such as low self-confidence, lack of discipline, lack of responsibility, dependence on others, and lack of initiative. The purpose of this study is: (1) to describe guidance and counseling services in developing student learning independence. (2) To describe factors that can influence learning independence. (3) To describe learning independence. This type of research is qualitative research through a descriptive approach. Data sources are primary data and secondary data. The method used is qualitative with a narrative research design to find facts with the correct interpretation; research can involve various combinations of interview data and documentation to make an analysis. Data collection techniques are interviews and documentation of data validity. The results that researchers can conclude are that the role of guidance and counseling teachers in developing student learning independence is very appropriate because learning independence is the principal capital students must have. Guidance and counseling teachers are considered the correct figures to solve problems of student learning independence. Based on the results of research related to student learning independence, there are still students who do not fully have a responsible attitude in learning, are not active and creative in learning; it can be seen that there are still students who lack self-confidence, are unable to solve learning problems and lack interest in seeking new sources of knowledge.

Abstract

The low ability of children with autism to maintain eye contact and remain seated during learning activities often becomes a major obstacle in the classroom learning process. These behavioral limitations reduce focus, interaction, and learning effectiveness, as observed among autistic students at Sibolga State Special Needs School. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of token economy counseling in improving eye contact and sitting behavior in children with autism. The research employed a single-subject research (SSR) method using an A–B–A design, with data collected through direct observation during baseline condition 1 (A1), intervention condition (B), and baseline condition 2 (A2). During the intervention phase, subjects who received token economy counseling showed a significant improvement in eye contact and sitting behavior, achieving a very good category. Furthermore, the improvement persisted in baseline condition 2 (A2), indicating that the positive effects of the intervention remained even after the treatment was discontinued. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that token economy counseling is effective in improving eye contact and sitting behavior in children with autism and can be applied as a behavioral intervention strategy in special education settings.

Abstract

Kemampuan sosialisasi anak merupakan fondasi penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan keterampilan hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas program pendidikan interaktif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan sosialisasi anak-anak di Desa Ujung Negeri Kahan, Kecamatan Bintang Bayu, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selama pelaksanaan program pengabdian masyarakat pada bulan Juli 2024. Partisipan penelitian meliputi 29 mahasiswa Jurusan Bimbingan dan Konseling Pendidikan Islam dan anak-anak serta remaja di desa tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pendidikan interaktif yang mencakup kegiatan sosialisasi, pembelajaran kooperatif, dan kegiatan olahraga mampu meningkatkan kemampuan interaksi sosial anak sebesar 78% dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri anak sebesar 82%. Kesimpulannya, program pendidikan interaktif terbukti efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosialisasi anak dan merupakan solusi berkelanjutan untuk mengatasi rendahnya interaksi sosial di lingkungan desa.

Abstract

Literasi kesehatan mental di kalangan remaja di sekolah asrama Islam masih terbatas akibat stigma dan keterbatasan akses informasi. Program layanan masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan program Komunikasi, Informasi, dan Pendidikan (KIP) berbasis web guna meningkatkan literasi kesehatan mental remaja. Program ini menerapkan pendekatan Pengembangan Masyarakat Berbasis Aset (ABCD) yang melibatkan 83 peserta (75 siswa dan 8 administrator sekolah). Kegiatan meliputi lokakarya interaktif, pendidikan berbasis web, dan penilaian pengetahuan pra-pasca. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam skor pengetahuan peserta dari 42% (pra-tes) menjadi 87% (pasca-tes). Skrining kesehatan mental menunjukkan bahwa 79,8% siswa berada dalam kategori baik, 12,9% moderat, dan 7,3% rendah. Program CIE berbasis web secara efektif meningkatkan literasi kesehatan mental dan memperkuat upaya deteksi dini di lingkungan pesantren.
