Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of language variations in terms of speakers (sociolect) in Semester VII B Students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu, Academic Year 2022/2023. Based on these objectives, the method used in this study uses descriptive qualitative research. Data was collected through data obtained from student chat screenshots. The data collection technique in this thesis is a documentation technique in the form of screenshots. Data analysis techniques in this thesis are Data Identification, Data Classification, Data Analysis, Data Interpretation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that theoretically there are 8 language variations based on the speaker's aspect (sociolect), namely 1. Acrolek, 2. Basilek, 3. Vulgar, 4. Slang, 5. Colloquial, 6. Jargon, 7. Argot, and 8. Ken. But based on research data, the type of use of language variations based on the speaker's point of view (siolect) used by WhatsApp Group members of students VII B of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program Batch 2019 Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu, obtained 114 data on 5 types of use of language variations, namely: 1. Acrolect found 7 data, 2. Basilek found 53 data 3. Slang found 28 data 4. Colloquial found 5 data and 5. Jargon found 21 data. Language variations that are often used by semester VII B students are basilek or regional language variations, because the group members come from different regions and many varieties of regional languages ​​are used.

Abstract

Abstrak Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana jenis tuturan direktif dalam novel Bumi dan Lukanya karya Reviana Aprilliandini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis. Teknik yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data tindak tutur direktif adalah teknik daftar data, yaitu melalui tahap membaca novel Bumi dan Lukanya karya Reviana Aprilliandini, membaca ulang novel Bumi dan Lukanya karya Reviana Aprilliandini untuk menandai tindak tutur direktif dalam novel data yang ditandai dalam novel Bumi dan Lukanya karya Reviana Aprilliandini dimasukkan ke daftar data. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu mengidentifikasi data yang telah dikumpulkan dalam daftar berdasarkan bentuk tuturan direktif novel Bumi dan Lukanya karya Reviana, mengklasifikasikan data yang telah diidentifikasi berupa tindak tutur direktif Bumi dan Lukanya, mendeskripsikan data untuk analisis jenis tindak tutur direktif Bumi dan Lukanya, dan menarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti ditemukan tujuh bentuk tindak tutur direktif dalam novel Bumi dan Lukanya karya Reviana Aprilliandini ketujuh bentuk tindak tutur direktif tersebut yaitu tindak tutur direktif permintaan 57, tindak tutur direktif pertanyaan 43, tindak tutur direktif pemberian izin 1, tindaktutur direktif nasihat 1, tindak tutur direktif memerintah 28 , tindak tutur direktif memohon 3, tindak tutur direktif menyarankan 9. Tindak tutur direktif yang paling banyak ditemukan yaitu bentuk tindak tutur permintaan, sebanyak 57 tuturan, Adapun tindak tutur direktif yang paling sedikit ditemukan yaitu bentuk tindak tutur pemberian izin dan nasihat sebanyak masing-masing 1 tuturan. Kata Kunci : tindak tutur, direktif, novel Bumi dan Lukanya.

Abstract

This research presents the basic concept of learning interaction, especially in the Indonesian classroom. A literature review is a technique used in this study. The data collection technique was carried out by searching for library sources based on the outline topic, grouping library sources based on relevance to the subject and year of the research, then sequencing the structure of explanations and comparing interrelated data. The data is then analyzed through 3 steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the study explained that in general the interaction is divided into three patterns, (1) one-way patterns, (2) two-way patterns, and (3) multi-directional patterns. All three are needed in the learning process. However, what should be more dominant is the multi-directional pattern. In language classes, especially Indonesian interactions, learning interaction aims to develop four aspects of language skills, namely (1) listening, (2) speaking, (3) reading and (4) writing. Each aspect of skill has its pattern, technique/method. In addition, teacher and student activities during learning can be classified into seven categories of interactions known as the Brown Interaction Analysis System (BIAS).

Abstract

This research aims to describe the function and meaning of pantun in sekujang ceremony of Serawai community in Tapak Gedung Village, Kepahiang Regency. The sekujang ceremony is held on the second or third day of Eid as a form of supplication and expression of gratitude through rhymes. This research used descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive approach consisting of data reduction, data presentation in the form of narratives and pantun quotations, and conclusion drawing through interpretation of the socio-cultural context. Data validity was strengthened through source triangulation, peer discussion, and member checking. The results showed that pantun in sekujang ceremony functions as a symbolic communication medium that conveys messages implicitly and politely, strengthens social interaction, and becomes a vehicle for preserving local cultural values. The functions of pantun include aesthetic aspects (beauty of sound and rhyme), phatic (maintaining social communication), conative (directing listener response), and emotive-referential (conveying emotions and cultural information). Apart from being entertainment, pantun also plays an educative role in teaching manners and strengthening solidarity through the egalitarian practice of meradai. The meaning of pantun reflects respect for ancestors, the value of politeness, and social solidarity that maintains harmony in the life of the Serawai people. This research recommends the preservation of pantun values to encourage the sustainability of traditions and awareness of the younger generation towards local culture.

Abstract

Teen delinquency is a crucial phenomenon that continues to grow up to the present. Therefore, efforts to handle this issue have become extremely urgent. In link with this, this study aims to explore how guidance and counseling teachers (BK) can enhance the effectiveness of their interventions in dealing with student delinquency at Muhammadiyah 4 High School in Bengkulu City through sentence variation techniques in suggestive language. The meaning and function of the figurative language are also explored and analyzed in-depth through the interactive analysis technique. A case study research model with a qualitative descriptive method was chosen to understand the subjects and objects studied deeply. Through observation and interview techniques, data were collected and analyzed using the interactive analysis technique of Miles & Huberman to understand the meaning and function of the suggestive language used by BK teachers to resolve teenage delinquency. The study results reveal two patterns of sentence variation in suggestion language: praising and motivational sentences. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara kualitatif dampak penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBl) di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif berbasis library research untuk memperoleh data. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penelusuran Google Scholar tahun 2020-2025 dengan kata kunci PjBL ditemukan lebih dari 500 artikel, disaring berdasarkan kriteria inklusi sehingga diperoleh 25 artikel yang digunakan sebagai studi primer yang akan dianalisis berdasarkan kemampuan yang ditingkatkan dalam penelitian. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan memberikan deskripsi dampak model Project Based Learning di perguruan tinggi melalui telaah mendalam untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh penerapan model tersebut terhadap mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa hasil belajar, kreatifitas, kemampuan berfikir tingkat tinggi, motivasi belajar dan keaktifan mahasiswa meningkat secara kualitatif dengan penggunaan metode Project Based Learning, sehingga penerapan model Project Based Learning merupakan salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dan relevan diterapkan di perguruan tinggi untuk mendukung capaian belajar yang holistik.
