Abstract

This study aims to develop electronic worksheets for students of Pancasila education class IV, in order to add teaching materials in schools and produce electronic student worksheets (e-LK) for class IV Pancasila education that are valid, practical, and effective so as to improve results. learning students at SDN 01 Padang Laweh. This electronic student worksheet (e-LK) is assisted by live worksheets to make e-LK interesting. The development model used is the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the results of validation by five validators, namely graphic, content, language, questions, and teaching module validators, an average score of 89% was obtained in the very valid category, practical results by class IV teacher practitioners and students obtained a percentage of 96.45%. with the very practical category, while the results of the effectiveness test in the form of test questions obtained a complete average of 89.47% with a very effective category.

Abstract

Konteks penelitian ini adalah pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dimana guru hanya menggunakan media dasar dan tidak menggunakan alat yang tersedia seperti infocus. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan kurang disiplin dalam usaha akademik mereka dan sering masuk dan keluar kelas. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang memuat banyak teori tidak dapat maksimal karena prosesnya membosankan, tidak menarik, dan kurang menyenangkan. Misalnya, media video pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan memproduksi media video pembelajaran dengan menggunakan aplikasi capcut pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dapat membantu siswa menjadi terlibat, aktif, fokus, dan tertarik dengan informasi yang disampaikan oleh guru kepada mereka. Konteks penelitian ini adalah topik bahasa Indonesia yang membahas tentang pengembangan media video pembelajaran. Bentuk penelitian ini disebut penelitian pengembangan, dan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi) sesuai dengan teknik R&D (Research & Development). Analisis kebutuhan, analisis peserta didik, dan analisis kurikulum semuanya termasuk dalam langkah analisis. Penggunaan capcut untuk video pembelajaran pada tahap desain yaitu tahap perencanaan. Uji kepraktisan dan keefektivan dilakukan pada tahap pengembangan. Setiap tahap pengembangan dinilai selama langkah evaluasi. Hasil penelitian pengembangan media video pemebelajaran pada uji validasi oleh 4 validator ahli.validasi bahasa oleh dosen 90% masuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Validasi media oleh dosen 93% masuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Validasi materi oleh dosen 85% masuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Validasi modul ajar oleh dosen 94% masuk kategori sangat valid

Abstract

ABSTRACT Izo Ira Rudini, 2023. Development of Specific Interesting Active Relevant Timely (SMART) Specific Books Based on Research Based Learning in Science Learning to Support Independent Learning for Class IV Elementary School Students. This research is motivated by the limitations of learning media and the lack of understanding of students in the learning process at SD Negeri 01 Sitiung. Even though learning resources that use media are needed to support teaching and learning activities, so that learning objectives can be achieved. The purpose of this research was to produce Research-Based Learning Specific Interesting Active Relevant Timely (Smart) books on science learning to support independent learning for fourth grade elementary school students which are valid, practical and effective for use in learning in fourth grade elementary school. The research method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method. In this study the authors only conducted simple research or research focused on development or development. The development model used is the Plomp model which consists of 3 stages, namely: preliminary research, prototype stage, and assessment phase. The validation results of Specific Books Interesting Active Relevant Timely (SMART) Based on Research Based Learning were assessed by three expert validators, namely the material/content validation results were 88.8% categorized as very valid, the language validation results were 86.6% categorized as very valid, the validation results graph 93.3% is categorized as very valid. The results of the analysis of teacher response questionnaire data assessed by two teachers obtained an average of 93% categorized as very practical. Based on the results of the One To One Evaluation trial, the student response reached 92% which was categorized as very practical, and the results of the Small Group Evaluation trial obtained 86% results which were categorized as very practical. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of the data on fourth grade students at Public Elementary School 01 Sitiung, namely the assessment of the realm of knowledge, attitudes and skills obtained an average of 86% categorized as Effective. Abstract

This research is attracted by the condition where students have poor reading comprehension. This occurs because the students solely read given texts, in which students are active in reading. Hence, it is difficult for students to conclude the text. Therefore, an appropriate strategy is needed to overcome these problems. KWL Strategy (Know, Want, Learn) is an effective strategy applied to the learning process, especially reading comprehension. The KWL (Know, Want, Learn) strategy provides an active role for students before, during, and when reading. The purpose of this research is to explore the KWL (Know, Want, Learn) strategies for students' reading comprehension skills using the literature study method. The literature study is an activity relating to the method of collecting library data, reading materials, making some notes, and managing research materials. The data obtained was concluded and compared to find out research that is in accordance with the purpose of the research. The results of the assessment conducted show that the KWL (Know, Want, Learn) strategy provides a positive effect on reading comprehension. Students are more active in reading comprehension; students are easier to read and understand the contents of the text and students are easier to summarize the content of the texts. Abstract

The background of this study is the low student motivation and learning outcomes due tothe lack of variation in media used during the learning process. This study aims todetermine the effect of using the interactive learning media Wordwall on students' learningoutcomes in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for Grade IV at SDN 02Koto Salak. Wordwall, as an interactive digital media, is considered capable of creatingan engaging and enjoyable learning atmosphere for students.The method used in this studyis quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. The research sample consisted of twoclasses: the experimental class, which used Wordwall, and the control class, which usedconventional methods. Data were obtained through pre-tests and post-tests to measureimprovements in learning outcomes. Data analysis using the t-test showed a significantdifference between the experimental and control classes. The results of the study provedthat the use of Wordwall had a positive effect on students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulties faced by educators in developing learning media that meet the needs of students. As a result, educators tend to use simple media or those readily available in the school environment. The purpose of this study is to develop a puzzle-based learning medium for the topic Recognizing Rights and Responsibilities in the Pancasila Education subject for Grade I students at SD Negeri 20 Sitiung. This study is a type of Research and Development (R&D) using the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The validation results show that the developed learning media have a high level of validity: graphical aspects scored 90% (very valid), content 89.2% (very valid), language 86.6% (very valid), questions 89.2% (valid), and teaching module 88% (very valid). The practicality level of the puzzle-based learning media as assessed by teachers reached 91% (very practical), while assessments from students reached 93.42% (very practical). The effectiveness of the media, based on the students’ learning outcomes test, reached an average of 91.30%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the development of the puzzle-based learning media for the topic Recognizing Rights and Responsibilities in the Pancasila Education subject for Grade I at SD Negeri 20 Sitiung is valid, practical, and effective for use in the learning process. Abstract

This research analyzes the utilization of Chromebook devices in the learning process for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 03 Tiumang. The background of this study is the importance of adapting education to the 4.0 industrial revolution era, especially in using technology to enhance learning quality. Chromebooks, as web-based devices developed by Google, are considered to have great potential to support digital learning, both online and offline, with cloud-based data. This research employed a qualitative approach with a field study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews with the school principal, fifth-grade teachers, and fifth-grade students, as well as documentation and questionnaires. The subjects of the study were fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 03 Tiumang, with subject selection using a purposive sampling method. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, following the Miles and Huberman model. Data validity was tested using source triangulation. The research results indicate that the utilization of Chromebook devices at SD Negeri 03 Tiumang has yielded significant positive impacts. Chromebooks are used almost daily for various subjects, not limited to specific ones. Students feel more comfortable, find it easier to understand learning materials, and are motivated to learn due to the freedom to choose their learning styles and access to various interactive applications such as Canva, Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Slides, and Gemini. Interaction between teachers and students, as well as among students themselves, has also increased. This utilization aligns with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which emphasizes the benefits and ease of use of technology. Nevertheless, there are some challenges, particularly concerning internet connectivity, which does not yet fully support simultaneous Chromebook use, and the need for continuous training for all teachers to obtain Google Certified Educator certification. The success of Chromebook utilization has also led to SD Negeri 03 Tiumang being selected as a Google Reference School Candidate (KSRG) in Dharmasraya Regency, demonstrating an improvement in school quality in rural areas.

Abstract

This study was conducted because of the excellence in SD IT Andalas Cendekia, especially in religious values and other general achievements. This study aims to determine the strategies used by the principal in implementing the Pancasila student profile of the dimensions of faith, devotion to God Almighty and noble character in SD IT. The type of research used is qualitative research. The results of the study found four types of principal strategies and success in implementing them in SD IT: 1) learning activities (students can remind each other of good things). 2) development of school culture / daily school activities, it was found that students had followed school regulations such as, dhuha prayer, easy to admit mistakes and apologize, for those at the high class level they were disciplined in maintaining their genitals, limits on socializing, and forming a personality that was devoted to God Almighty. 3) extracurricular (self-development), it was seen that students achieved achievements from various competitions, were able to develop talents according to their interests and had higher self-confidence. 4) daily activities at home and in the community, there are students who are able to directly practice good manners in real life, are able to recognize prayer times and carry them out on time, and are more open in interacting.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of independent curriculum teaching materials that suit school needs. SDN 5 Sitiung requires teaching materials, one of which is the IPAS e-module in Class IV. So the effort made is to develop a Class IV science e-module for elementary schools in an independent curriculum that is valid, practical and effective. This type of research is Research and Development research which uses the Plomp development model which has several stages, namely (Preliminary research, development prototyping phase, assessment phase). The assessment instrument was carried out by the validators, namely content validator, language validator and graphic validator. Filling out the instrument sheet uses a validation sheet for validators and a practicality sheet assessed by practitioners. The result obtained from the development of Discovery Learning-Based E-Modules using the Canva Application in Class IV Science and Science Learning at Elementary School at SDN 5 Sitiung, namely from the validator results obtained an average of 89,3% with a very valid category, the practicality value obtained an average value of 94,2% in the very practical category, and the effectiveness value obtained an average of 83% in the very effective category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of students who cannot read sentences correctly and some students cannot distinguish punctuation marks and are also not fluent in reading. The aim of this research is to produce smart board learning media that is valid, practical and effective. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, desing, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results of the validity of the smart board media were validated by 4 validators, namely validation by content experts, the results obtained were 90% categorized as very valid. Validation by language experts obtained results of 91,66%, categorized as very valid. Media expert validation obtained a result of 90% categorized as very valid. Validation of the teaching module obtained a result of 91% categorized as very valid, validation of the teaching module by the teacher obtained a result of 100% categorized as very valid. The results of the practicality of smart board media through the teacher response questionnaire by class 1 teacher obtained a result of 100% which was categorized as very practical, while through the student response questionnaire an average result of 97,71% was categorized as very practical. The effectiveness result obtained and the results of student learning tests in main schools obtained an average of 90,32% categorized as very effective.
