Abstract

Learning media is a tool that is used as a support for the implementation of learning to learn to learn to learn, ranging from book sources to other media, and researchers also provide learning media in the form of display board media to 4th grade students in SDN Panunggulan 2 as a learning media tool so that learning can run effectively. The display media itself is a medium that can be used to display images such as posters, and other small objects that are three-dimensional with this also as a support for student learning so that students can be used in learning and also seen directly by students. Therefore, researchers provided a media display in the form of this image to the 4th class on the material of ethnic diversity in Indonesia because in the material is still low learning results about VAT material diversity of ethnic groups in Indonesia and.the use of this media aims to help teachers and students in improving learning outcomes. Learning outcomes are changes in students including their behavior in real terms that are done through the teaching and learning process that is in accordance with the learning objectives and with the learning outcomes teachers are able to see the development that has been owned by the student.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the difficulties and strategies of teachers in carrying out learning assessments during the Covid-19 period in elementary schools. The type of research conducted is descriptive qualitative where research that describes the research subject qualitatively means that the data collected are in the form of words or pictures. This research was conducted in one of the elementary schools in Tanggerang district, namely SDN Renged 3. From the results of the study the difficulties of teachers in carrying out assessments during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely the limitations of face-to-face learning, conducting affective and psychomotor assessments and finally the limitations of students in participating in learning activities. online learning (in the network). And the strategy used by the teacher in carrying out the assessment is by giving assignments, holding face-to-face learning in turns and from the craft of students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe teacher strategies in carrying out classroom assessments during the Covid-19 pandemic in elementary schools. This research was conducted at SD Malang Nengah 1 in March 2021. Data collection in this study was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. After the data is collected, the data is analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that learning during the Covid-19 pandemic only focuses on student cognitive assessments. The strategy used by the teacher in this learning is (1) conducting face-to-face learning directly. (2) Assessment based on students' daily assignments. (3) assessment based on student experience. (4) Referring to the value of the previous semester's report cards. The results of the study, that the teacher's strategy in carrying out learning during the current pandemic is very effective for knowing the actual abilities of students, considering that the tasks given by the teacher through distance learning are not carried out by the students themselves, but are also carried out by the students.

Abstract

The learning media development is based on existing teaching materials that do not yet provide an overall picture of cultural diversity in Indonesia, and the methods given by teachers only assign some of the diversity. The urgency in the class has a high level of curiosity, but to see this diversity, the teacher only displays it through his device and gives it to students who ask questions, resulting in an uneven distribution of student activity. Therefore, the research aims to ascertain the steps for making flipchart learning media, the validity of experts, and students' responses to flipchart media. The research method was RD, using the ADDIE model, with material expert testing: curriculum, methods, language, and evaluation, and learning media expert testing in verbal, cover design, content design, and typography. The feasibility test was carried out by four lecturers of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. The validation results from the two validators' material experts obtained an average percentage of 94%, with the criteria being "very feasible." The two validators' learning media expert validation received 87.5%, with the criteria "very feasible." With the "very feasible" criteria, the overall average percentage of validators was 90.75%. For student responses, a percentage of 91.5% was attained, with the criteria being "very feasible." Based on the validation results of two material expert lecturers, two media expert lecturers, and the responses of class IV students, flipchart learning media could be described as "very suitable" for use in elementary schools and could enhance student activity.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are one of the skills that elementary school students must possess. SDIT Al-Khairiyah differs from other schools since it has applied critical thinking skills using the discovery learning model. For this reason, the researchers are interested in researching this school to learn more about applying the discovery learning model based on critical thinking skills. This study thus aims to examine (1) planning, (2) implementation, and (3) evaluation of the implementation of the discovery learning model based on critical thinking skills in the thematic learning of class VB SDIT Al-Khairiyah. The method used was qualitative research, and the data used in this study were obtained through interviews with several sources (principal, teachers, and students), non-participatory observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicated that (1) the teacher prepared lesson plans by considering the characteristics of students and class conditions according to the stages of the discovery learning model. Teaching materials were adapted from learning objectives and learning media used, and then students’ worksheets were adapted from student books. (2) The implementation of the discovery learning model included stimulus, problem identification, data collection, data processing, evidence, and conclusions. (3) Class VB students seemed to have critical thinking skills. The characteristics that appeared in students consisted of logical and analytical thinking, having perspectives, actively asking questions, and having curiosity. These results can be examples of good practices to develop critical thinking skills using appropriate methods in elementary schools

Abstract

This research aims to determine the process of developing interactive PowerPoint learning media, feasibility and students’ response at elementary schools. The research method applied Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model developed by Reiser and Mollenda. This research has five stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation and Evaluation. This research and development involved a team of experts, including: media experts with a score of 91.67%, material experts with a score of 89.5% and language experts with a score of 66%. The average score obtained by all experts was 82.39% when interpreted as falling within the "Very Decent" criteria. Furthermore, supported by the calculation of the response questionnaire of students who took part in learning activities, the results were 92.36% reaching the "Very Good" category. So, it can be concluded that the product development of interactive PowerPoint-based learning media is "Very Appropriate" to be used as a media to assist learning activities. The results of student responses are "Very good" on the use of interactive PowerPoint products on theme 6 sub-theme 3 learning 1 for students at class V in SD Taman.

Abstract

The purpose of this study discusses the distribution of Tempo Magazine during the New Order period in 1994. Methods in this study use historical methods, including: heuristic, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results showed that the condition of the press before 1994 was an era of openness heralded by President Suharto in the introductory speech of the 46th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia on August 16, 1991, almost all mass media seemed passionate in covering or voicing facts in the community. Tempo magazine is informative and articulate presenting news of the Minister of Finance (Mar'ie Muhammad) with the Minister of Research and Technology (B.J Habibie). Conflict over the purchase of 39 former warships belonging to East Germany for USD 319 million which was severely damaged. As a result of the news, President Suharto made a strong threat to Tempo. The government issued Decree No. 123/ KEP / MENPEN / 1994 as a decree on the release of Tempo magazine. The impact of the release of Tempo magazine in 1994, emerged an act of solidarity from the womb of the press industry born the Organization of the Indonesian Journalists Alliance (AJI) on August 7, 1994.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai proses optimalisasi layanan perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa melalui penggunaan Aplikasi Simple Perpus di Perpustakaan SDN Kampung Baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Pustakawan, Guru Kelas IV dan Siswa SDN Kampung Baru sebagai Pengunjung Perpustakaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model analisis data Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari proses pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi/penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan Aplikasi Simple Perpus di Perpustakaan SDN Kampung Baru membantu pelayanan menjadi lebih optimal dengan adanya efektivitas dalam pelayanan dengan menggunakan Aplikasi Simple Perpus dan ketersediaan fasilitas di Perpustakaan serta tumbuhnya minat baca siswa membaca buku di perpustakaan sekolah yang dibuktikan dengan kesenangan siswa membaca, keterlibatan siswa dengan menjadi anggota perpustakaan, ketertarikan siswa mengunjungi perpustakaan, dan perhatian siswa terhadap buku-buku yang tersedia dengan menjadikan buku di perpustakaan sebagai sumber belajar.

Abstract

Knowing the problems related to planning and preparation for spiritual attitudes at SDN Tembong 2, researchers carried out observations and interviews at the school. By using qualitative research methods in the realm of case study research and literature study. Researchers carried out observations regarding the habituation of spiritual attitudes in schools. The research results show that spiritual attitude preparation or planning is carried out well to achieve school goals. The implementation of spiritual attitudes at SDN Tembong 2 can be carried out optimally if the implementation is carried out by the teachers themselves, especially religious teachers, as well as class teachers, and it is the responsibility of all teachers. The preparations carried out by the teacher in a spiritual attitude are held every month with a meeting with the strategies that must be carried out so that the child gets used to it, guided by the teacher who can be an example for the students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XII IPA 3 di SMA Negeri 7 Kota Serang dalam mata pelajaran Sejarah, khususnya pada materi Sejarah demokrasi liberal. Konteks penelitian dipandu oleh transformasi pendidikan abad ke-21 yang menekankan pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis sebagai respons terhadap tuntutan zaman yang semakin kompleks. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan survei deskriptif dengan menggunakan instrumen berbasis High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa berada pada kategori "kurang sekali," mencerminkan tantangan dalam pembelajaran Sejarah. Kurangnya metode pembelajaran yang sesuai, dominasi ceramah, dan minimnya partisipasi siswa dalam diskusi menjadi faktor utama rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk menerapkan pendekatan Scaffolding dan Problem-Based Learning (PBL) guna meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan mendukung perkembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis di lingkungan pendidikan Indonesia.
