Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe digital literacy by utilizing edmodo learning media on learning history in class. Towards society 5.0, digital literacy should be owned by every student now. The use of technology is not new for students and in almost every activity, they cannot be separated from technology products. Seeing this situation, even history teachers should be able to use or create learning media based on information and communication technology. One that can be made or used is edmodo learning media. With this media, the teacher can provide historical resources that can be accessed by students and package their learning activities by utilizing the features in Edmodo and based on digital literacy. Utilization of edmodo by the teacher provides experience to students to select and analyze information needed in history learning activities in class.The stages contained in digital literacy include: digital competence, digital usage, and digital transformation. Broadly speaking, this article will explain the edmodo learning media, digital literacy, and history learning through digital literacy-based edmodo learning media. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk menggambarkan literasi digital dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran edmodo tentang pembelajaran sejarah di kelas. Terhadap masyarakat 5.0, literasi digital harus dimiliki oleh setiap siswa sekarang. Penggunaan teknologi bukanlah hal baru bagi siswa dan dalam hampir setiap kegiatan, mereka tidak dapat dipisahkan dari produk teknologi. Melihat situasi ini, bahkan guru sejarah harus dapat menggunakan atau membuat media pembelajaran berdasarkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Salah satu yang bisa dibuat atau digunakan adalah media pembelajaran edmodo. Dengan media ini, guru dapat menyediakan sumber daya sejarah yang dapat diakses oleh siswa dan mengemas kegiatan belajar mereka dengan memanfaatkan fitur-fitur dalam Edmodo dan berdasarkan pada literasi digital. Pemanfaatan edmodo oleh guru memberikan pengalaman kepada siswa untuk memilih dan menganalisis informasi yang diperlukan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sejarah di kelas. Tahapan yang terkandung dalam literasi digital meliputi: kompetensi digital, penggunaan digital, dan transformasi digital. Secara garis besar, artikel ini akan menjelaskan media pembelajaran edmodo, literasi digital, dan pembelajaran sejarah melalui media pembelajaran edmodo berbasis literasi digital.

Abstract

The organizers carried out at the Siliwangi University History Education department at the time the professor of 2017 showed that their ability to think historically was still not optimal. This is part of the research results, which show that the index of historical thinking averages 53.6%. This study aimed to study various cooperative learning models of inquiry group type assisted by a Learning Management System (LMS) developed to improve the historical thinking skills of prospective history teachers. The research method is classroom action research. The research results in the first cycle showed that the index of historical thinking averaged 70.4%, and in the second cycle, the average historical result was 82.4%. Based on the results in the first and second cycles, using the investigative group learning model and Edmodo learning media can improve students' historical thinking.

Abstract

Based on the analysis of the problems found in the joint observation activities of the Garut Regency History MGMP, several priority problems were found that were to the partners' needs, including 1). There are still many history teachers who need to maximize their teacher competencies in learning activities, such as the creation of innovative digital-based learning media as an effort to develop themselves and learning materials; 2). The implementation of differentiated learning carried out by members of the Garut Regency History MGMP still needs to meet the three elements of differentiation, namely differentiation of content, process, and product. This community service activity aims to train history teachers of MGMP Garut Regency in creating innovative learning media based on Smart Apps Creator (Sac) integrated with differentiated learning and gamification. The methods implemented were Observation of problems and interviews of factual conditions with partners of the Garut Regency History MGMP, Socialization & training in developing competencies in understanding, knowledge, and skills of differentiated learning, and Socialization & training in creating integrated Smart Apps Creator (SAC) learning media with gamification and differentiated teaching materials to improve teacher competency.The results of this activity show that the organizational management skills of MGMP History teachers of Garut Regency are 61% to 92%. Meanwhile, the skills of history teachers increased from 61% to 91%. The training activities carried out are a real solution for history teachers to solve their problems.

Abstract

Masyarakat Desa Wanasigra mayoritas bermata pencaharian sebagai buruh tani. Seiring berjalannya waktu ternyata kebanyakan masyarakat Wanasigra beralih profesi menjadi pembudidaya ikan, ini di dukung dengan potensi kolam yang mencapai 11.000 ha. Pengembangan desa dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi. Predikat desa perikanan yang diberikan oleh pemerintah kepada Desa Wanasigra merupakan usaha dari masyarakat dalam mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat dalam hal perikanan. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini untuk mengetahui proses pengolahan ikan terhadap pengembangan desa wanasigra dalam menghadapi permasalahan perikanan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu melalui pelatihan dan penerapan teknologi untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan masyarakat peternak Nila untuk mengolah ikan Nila menjadi produk olahan, seperti: dendeng/kere. Melalui pelatihan pengolahan dan pemasaran, kelompok ini mampu menghasilkan berbagai produk olahan ikan nila yang bernilai ekonomis tinggi. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, tetapi juga mendorong diversifikasi produk lokal dan mengangkat potensi desa Wanasigra. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Wanasigra telah berhasil meningkatkan nilai tambah produk perikanan, khususnya ikan nila, melalui pengembangan kelompok Dapur D’Nurma.

Abstract

The purpose of the activity is to provide benefits for KPM PKH mothers in increasing knowledge and insight into family financial management, banking and non-bank financial services, financial decision-making and monthly budget making that form a strong foundation for family financial resilience. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach is used in PKM activities, through five stages of activities, including 1) Partner cooperation; 2) Pre-abdimas (Determining materials, designing pretests and scheduling activities); 3) Implementation of PKM activities; 4) Evaluating educational activities through Postes and 5) Preparation of reports and publications. The results of the 30 participants were given a pretest, as many as 14 people had low financial literacy and inclusion knowledge, 10 people had moderate financial literacy and inclusion knowledge, the remaining 6 people understood the importance of financial planning and management. The results of the post were obtained by around 24 people who experienced an increase in understanding of financial literacy and inclusion, 3 people still have moderate financial literacy and inclusion and also 3 people are still relatively low

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the extent to which students' critical thinking skills are improved by the utilization of the smart apps creator program. A quasi-experimental research methodology utilizing a nonequivalent control group design is applied. Purposive sampling was used to choose 150 students for the research sample. A multiple-choice exam was used to gather data. The Mann-Whitney U Test and descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. The n-gain value for the experimental class was 0.7629, whereas that of the control class was 0.3144. These results demonstrated that students' critical thinking abilities had improved in both groups. This suggests that students who use the Smart Apps Creator application learn more effectively than those who do not in terms of their critical thinking abilities. The Mann Whitney U Test hypothesis test value at the Asymptotic Sig. A value (2-sided test) of 0.000 <0.05 indicates this. The utilization of the smart applications Creator program is found to be highly beneficial in enhancing pupils' critical thinking abilities. According to the research, students can benefit from the Smart Application Creator application by having their learning demands met and their critical thinking abilities enhanced. Teachers can use it to become more creative in creating unique learning activities and to serve as a resource for resolving various issues in learning exercises.  The contribution of this research to the future is to serve as a reference for implementing the national curriculum in Indonesia as a learning medium that can be integrated with in-depth learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using Blooket as a learning medium on students’ interest in history learning in class XI.2 of SMAN 1 Darma. The research was motivated by the low learning interest caused by monotonous media use. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a non-equivalent control group design was applied. The sample consisted of 64 students, with 32 in the experimental class (XI.2) and 32 in the control class (XI.5), selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through a validated and reliable Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using an independent sample t-test with SPSS. The results indicated a significant difference between the experimental and control groups, with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. These findings confirm that Blooket positively influences students’ interest in learning history. Thus, Blooket can serve as an effective interactive learning medium to enhance student engagement in history education.

Abstract

Students have low learning outcomes because the media and sources of history learning are not varied. This study aimed to determine how effective the use of Smart Apps Creator learning media is in improving students' history learning outcomes. The research method used was a quasi-experimental study with a population of 423 students from class X of high school. The research sample was divided into two groups, 35 in the experimental and 32 in the control classes, selected using purposive sampling techniques. The data collection process used a validated multiple-choice test. The data collected through the pretest-posttest was processed by finding the n-gain of the data. Furthermore, the Man Whitney U Test analysis was carried out. The results showed that Smart Apss Creator and PowerPoint students had better history learning outcomes. The Mann Whitney U hypothesis test value at the Asymptotic Sig. (2-sided test) is 0.000 <0.05. In addition, the average N-Gain of 69.25% indicates that the Smart Apps Creator learning media is quite effective in improving students' history learning outcomes. Using Smart Apps Creator is quite effective in improving student learning outcomes. The study for teachers implies that using Smart Apps Creator as a learning medium can be integrated into a learning model or method that suits students to maximize its benefits.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media pembelajaran Educandy terhadap minat belajar sejarah peserta didik kelas X E 4 SMAN 1 Ciamis. Latar belakang penelitian menunjukkan rendahnya minat belajar sejarah peserta didik yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya variasi media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang menarik. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperimental. Variabel independent adalah penggunaan media Educandy (X) dan variabel dependen adalah minat belajar sejarah (Y). Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMAN 1 Ciamis berjumlah 432 siswa, dengan sampel 72 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas X E 4 (kelas eksperimen) dan X E 2 (kelas kontrol), masing-masing 36 peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner (angket) untuk mengukur minat belajar siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistics 29 for Windows, menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, uji homogenitas Levene’s Test, dan uji hipotesis Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Educandy dalam pembelajaran sejarah mempengaruhi dan mampu meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Hal ini terbukti dari rata-rata N-Gain score sebesar 0,7298 (72,98%), termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Uji hipotesis Independent Sample T-Test menghasilkan nilai Sig. sebesar 0,002 (0,002 0,05), yang berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan penggunaan Educandy terhadap minat belajar sejarah siswa kelas X E 4 SMAN 1 Ciamis. Educandy berhasil menarik perhatian siswa dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif, efektif, dan efisien. Implikasi penelitian ini sejalan dengan teori behavioristik yang menekankan perubahan sikap dan perilaku siswa melalui stimulus yang diberikan.
