Abstract

Training evaluation plays a crucial role in assessing the quality of learning, particularly in competency-based programs that emphasize the connection between learning processes and workforce needs. This study aims to evaluate the learning process in the Basic Electrical Installation Training at BBPVP Serang, focusing on the reaction level of Kirkpatrick’s model. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving 8 participants and 2 instructors selected via purposive sampling. Data analysis followed the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that participants generally responded positively to the training implementation. In terms of learning components, participants considered the training materials relevant to workplace demands, the schedule well organized, practice based methods effective for comprehension, and learning media supportive in delivering content clearly and interactively. Regarding training facilities, the infrastructure was deemed adequate to ensure comfort and smooth training activities. Nevertheless, several challenges were identified, such as limited training duration and the need to share practice tools among participants. Overall, evaluation at the reaction level demonstrates that the Basic Electrical Installation Training at BBPVP Serang provided a positive learning experience for participants, while highlighting areas for improvement to optimize future training programs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Awareness of Thinking learning model in improving learning awareness among learners at PKBM Rumah Kesadaran. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design. The research subjects included learners, tutors, and PKBM administrators. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings show that the Awareness of Thinking model was implemented through reflection, discussion, and evaluation of thinking processes, but its implementation was not yet optimal. Some learners remained passive, lacked confidence, and were not accustomed to independent reflection. The main obstacles included passive learning habits, limited learning time, and insufficient tutor facilitation. Therefore, consistent reflective activities and stronger tutor roles are needed to improve its effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the experiences of Package C students in internalizing the 7 Great Habits program at the Rumah Community Learning Center (PKBM). The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods to understand the experiences, understanding, and behavioral changes of students after participating in the habituation program. The research subjects were Package C students who actively participated in the 7 Great Habits program. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the 7 Great Habits program was implemented through various habituation activities, such as Dhuha prayer, charity, memorization of short surahs, greetings and greetings, tadarus, prayers and affirmations before learning, and congregational Dzuhur prayer. Students understood that the program aimed to shape religious character, discipline, and self-awareness. This program also had a positive impact on changes in student behavior, such as increased awareness of worship, more diligent reading of the Qur'an, and starting to maintain attitudes and behavior in daily life. However, the implementation of these habits has not been fully consistent outside the PKBM environment due to a lack of supervision and environmental support. Therefore, successful character formation through habituation requires ongoing support from educational institutions, families, and the social environment so that the positive values that have been implemented can be consistently implemented in daily life.

Abstract

This study seeks to identify tutors competencies for utilizing digital media during equivalency education learning at SKB Kota Serang, identify examine the intenal and external barriers to digital media into learning activities, and examine strategies for tutors professional development in facing digital era learning. This research applied a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving tutors, learners, and administrators at SKB Kota Serang. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing using triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The findings indicated that tutors competencies in utilizing digital media in equivalency education learning at SKB Kota Serang have begun to develop but are not yet optimal. Tutors have utilized several digital media tools such as PowerPoint, learning videos, online conferencing applications, and the internet as learning materials; however, the implementation of digital media is still limited and has not been fully incorporated into instructional planning, implementation, and evaluation. Internal inhibiting factors include limited digital literacy, low self confidence in using technology, and the continued dominance of conventional teaching methods. Meanwhile, external factors include limited learning facilities, technological devices, internet access, and the lack of sustainable technology based training programs. Efforts to develop tutors professionalism have been carried out through self directed learning, discussions among tutors, and internal training activities, although stronger institutional support is still needed. This study concludes that improving tutors competencies in utilizing digital plays a significant role in improving the effectiveness of equivalency education in the digital era. Therefore, continuous training, improvement of facilities and infrastructure, and supportive institutional policies are needed so that tutors can integrate digital media more innovatively and effectively into the learning process.
