Abstract

This community service discusses stunting, a problem of stunted child growth due to chronic malnutrition, especially in the West Nusa Tenggara region of Indonesia. Stunting causes impaired growth in children, with boys growing much less than they should. This condition is often caused by a lack of nutritional knowledge among pregnant women and children, as well as an unbalanced diet. The impact of stunting includes physical and cognitive impairment, increased risk of chronic disease, and lower adult productivity. Stunting prevention requires a holistic approach involving nutrition, health, sanitation and education, as well as active participation from the government, community and family. An intervention program was implemented in Bayan, North Lombok, involving participatory discussions with various community members to improve understanding and prevention of stunting. The PAR method was used in the implementation of the activities, which involved initial mapping, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed an increase in the community's understanding of stunting and its prevention measures. The program highlights the importance of community empowerment in stunting prevention to improve children's quality of life.

Abstract

Inclusive education is a key component in achieving equitable and quality learning for all, yet its implementation in Indonesia still faces significant challenges. This study aims to analyze the dynamics, challenges, and opportunities of inclusive education in Indonesia while identifying gaps between existing policies and actual practices. Using a qualitative descriptive approach combined with bibliometric analysis, this research examines 100 articles indexed by Google Scholar from 2021 to 2025. Data were collected using the Publish or Perish application and analyzed using VOSviewer to map publication trends, co-authorship networks, and the most cited articles. Results indicate that while inclusive education policies exist, their implementation is hindered by inadequate infrastructure, limited teacher competencies, and insufficient curriculum flexibility. A significant decrease in research output after 2022 suggests a need for renewed academic interest and policy support. The study concludes that more targeted teacher training and adaptive curriculum design are essential for advancing inclusive practices. This research contributes to the scientific literature by offering a novel bibliometric overview and proposing actionable strategies to bridge the gap between policy and practice in inclusive education.

Abstract

PKM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan akademik dan kompetensi teknis mahasiswa dalam analisis data kuantitatif melalui penggunaan perangkat lunak Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). Metode yang diterapkan adalah pendekatan partisipatif dan edukatif, yang melibatkan 25 mahasiswa dari Fakultas Pendidikan Universitas Bumigora. Pendekatan partisipatif memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk terlibat secara langsung dalam setiap tahapan pelatihan, sementara pendekatan edukatif menekankan pembelajaran berbasis praktik yang bertujuan untuk memperkuat keterampilan teknis mahasiswa dalam penggunaan perangkat lunak SPSS. Evaluasi efektivitas pelatihan dilakukan dengan pre-test dan post-test yang diimplementasikan sebelum dan setelah pelatihan berlangsung. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada skor posttest dibandingkan dengan pre-test, yang mengindikasikan bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil memperkuat pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap konsep dasar statistik dan penerapannya. Peningkatan tersebut juga mencerminkan kemajuan dalam keterampilan teknis mahasiswa dalam mengolah dan menganalisis data kuantitatif. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam analisis data kuantitatif dan memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk penerapan pengetahuan tersebut dalam konteks akademik dan profesional.

Abstract

This article reports on a community engagement initiative in the form of a workshop designed to strengthen the pedagogical competence of students in the faculty of education, specifically in creating formative assessments through game-based applications. The workshop incorporated principles of Transformative Learning and Experiential Learning, utilizing qualitative instruments such as questionnaires and project documentation. The program effectively shifted students’ perspectives on assessment, with notable progress in their ability to design interactive and pedagogically sound quizzes. Despite some variation in creative design and video tutorial presentation skills, the overall outcomes were positive. The workshop is expected to make a meaningful contribution to enhancing both the quality of learning and participants’ pedagogical skills in developing and applying formative assessments using interactive quiz tools. Abstract

This study aims to describe students' errors in solving class X problems of power numbers and root forms and analyze the factors that cause students to make mistakes. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were class X students of SMK Kasimo in the 2023/2024 academic year. The data collection methods used in this research are tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the errors made by students in solving problems of power numbers and root forms: (1) errors in understanding the meaning of the problem; (2) errors in understanding and applying concepts; and (3) errors in calculating. The factors that cause students to make mistakes are students do not understand the meaning of the question asked, students have not mastered the prerequisite material such as: exponent numbers, students do not understand the material, students forget the formula, students lack practice in solving problems about power numbers and root forms, students are less careful in calculating, students do not check the answers that have been done.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the skills of students in the end-of-semester assessment in the subject of Civic Education (PKN). The research method applied is quantitative descriptive research using data from the odd semester exam results for the 2023/2024 school year as the material for analysis. The research sample consisted of 31 fourth grade elementary school students in Jayapura city. Data was collected through document analysis and direct observation of the assessment process. The results showed that 78% of the learners achieved good assessment. Factors that influenced learners' skills included teaching methods, learning environment support, and learners' interest in the subject. The implications of the findings emphasize the importance of developing inclusive and adaptive evaluation strategies, as well as improving the effectiveness of teaching methods to ensure optimal learning achievement in Civics.

Abstract

Mitos memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk perilaku sosial dan moral masyarakat Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran mitos dalam pendidikan masyarakat di Flores, Lombok Barat, dan Lombok Utara, serta menggali potensi mitos sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang efektif. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan berbagai tokoh masyarakat, tokoh agama, dan pemuka adat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mitos, seperti larangan keluar pada waktu maghrib dan larangan makan di depan pintu, memiliki dampak signifikan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moral dan disiplin pada masyarakat. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa mitos-mitos tersebut berperan dalam mengajarkan etika, menjaga keselamatan, dan menghormati waktu. Novelty penelitian ini terletak pada penghubungan mitos dengan teori pendidikan, seperti behavioristik dan konstruktivisme, yang menunjukkan bahwa mitos dapat menjadi media efektif dalam membentuk perilaku dan karakter positif. Dengan demikian, mitos dapat diintegrasikan dalam pendidikan formal dan non-formal untuk memperkuat pemahaman siswa tentang nilai-nilai budaya lokal

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan efektivitas pembelajaran mahasiswa baru Fakultas Pendidikan Universitas Bumigora melalui pengenalan dan pemanfaatan teknologi Kecerdasan Buatan (AI). Di era digital saat ini, pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam menggunakan AI menjadi sangat krusial, terutama bagi mahasiswa yang dituntut untuk melakukan riset dan menyusun karya ilmiah secara efisien. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pelatihan intensif dan pendampingan individual yang mencakup pengenalan dasar AI, praktik penggunaan AI untuk mencari referensi, menyusun kerangka tulisan, serta mengecek tata bahasa. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 50 mahasiswa baru dari Fakultas Pendidikan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan mengenai potensi AI sebagai alat bantu akademik, dengan rata-rata peningkatan skor pre-test dan post-test sebesar 40%. Mahasiswa melaporkan bahwa mereka merasa lebih percaya diri dalam melakukan tugas-tugas penulisan dan riset setelah mengikuti program ini. Partisipasi aktif peserta juga menunjukkan tingginya antusiasme mereka terhadap inovasi pembelajaran. Diharapkan, kegiatan ini dapat menjadi model bagi program serupa di masa depan untuk terus beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi.

Abstract

The limited number of empirical studies on the implementation of Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) in higher education highlights the need for further investigation, given its potential to enhance instructional effectiveness and students' mastery of course material. This study aims to analyze the application of TPACK-based learning in the Inovasi Pembelajaran course and to evaluate its impact on lecturer activity, student participation, and learning outcomes. The method employed was Classroom Action Research using the John Eliot model, involving 24 fifth-semester students from the Information Technology Education program selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observations of lecturer and student activities, as well as learning outcome tests, and analyzed descriptively to identify improvement trends across three cycles. The results show significant increases across all indicators: lecturer activity scores rose from 53.20 in Cycle I to 82.60 in Cycle III; student activity from 57.40 to 88.10; and learning outcomes from 60.20 to 87.50. These findings indicate that TPACK is an effective conceptual and practical framework for integrating technology, pedagogy, and content synergistically. The study concludes that systematic implementation of TPACK enhances instructional quality, lecturer competence, and student learning outcomes. The implications include theoretical contributions to the growing body of literature on TPACK integration in higher education, as well as practical recommendations for lecturers to design adaptive, interactive, and student-centered learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas butir tes pemecahan masalah mahasiswa menggunakan pemodelan Rasch. Instrumen terdiri dari 15 butir soal pilihan ganda yang dikembangkan berdasarkan kategori Higher Order Thinking Skills untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi secara komprehensif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 34 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif deskriptif untuk mengevaluasi validitas, reliabilitas, dan kesesuaian butir soal terhadap parameter model Rasch. Hasil menunjukkan nilai validitas sebesar 0,788, menandakan bahwa tes memiliki kualitas baik dalam mengukur konstruk yang dituju. Reliabilitas instrumen sebesar 0,886 tergolong sangat tinggi, mencerminkan konsistensi dan keandalan pengukuran. Pemetaan butir soal melalui item map menunjukkan distribusi tingkat kesulitan yang merata dan representatif terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa. Seluruh butir soal memenuhi kriteria kelayakan berdasarkan nilai infit dan outfit dalam rentang yang diterima. Dengan demikian, instrumen ini layak digunakan sebagai alat ukur objektif untuk menilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa.
