Abstract

Mobile banking is a facility provided by banks in the form of applications that can be accessed by customers by utilizing the internet network in carrying out various transaction activities such as checking balances, transfers, and paying various dues or household bills. This study aims to measure how much influence the factors of convenience, security, and risk have on customer satisfaction in using mobile banking. The variables used in this research are convenience factor (X1), security factor (X2), risk factor (X3), and customer satisfaction (Y). The method used in this research is using the accidental sampling method by distributing questionnaires to 40 customer respondents of Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Mamuju Regency. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis to measure the effect partially and simultaneously. The results obtained show that there is a positive and significant influence between the convenience factor and the security factor on customer satisfaction, and a negative and insignificant effect between risk factors on customer satisfaction in using mobile banking.

Abstract

A number of empirical literature and research results have explained that brand loyalty is a conscious or unconscious consumer decision which is expressed through behavior or intention to repurchase a brand continuously, it occurs because consumers feel that the brand offers actual product features, image, or level of quality at a real price. This paper aims to explore theoretical and empirical frameworks about the effect of shopping orientation, buying criteria and self-image on brand loyalty. The research model that will be used is a replication of the model developed by. by Oh. J and Fiorito. S.S (2002) entitled "Korea woman's Clothing Brand loyalty". The resulting model identified 3 independent variables namely: shopping orientation, purchasing criteria and self-image and 1 dependent variable namely: brand loyalty. The model was analyzed using multiple regression methods. The results of this research show that multiple regression can explain the factors that influence brand loyalty. Based on a sample of 100 respondents from 4 hypotheses, it shows that shopping orientation, purchasing criteria and self-image have a positive effect on brand loyalty.

Abstract

Explicit instruction is a teaching approach that involves explaining material face-to-face, directly, gradually, and systematically, so that it helps students more easily learn and understand the material being taught. This is a classroom action research (CAR) study that aims to improve learning outcomes and student learning activities in the stoichiometry material chemistry learning process by implementing the explicit instruction model. This research was conducted in class X IPA 2 in semester 1 of the 2020–2021 academic year with a total of 24 students. This study consisted of two cycles, and each cycle consisted of two meetings with a duration of 90 minutes. The data in this study were obtained from the results of written tests at the end of the first and second cycles as well as the results of observations at each meeting by one teacher acting as an observer. The results of this study indicate that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in cycle I, with a complete percentage of 62.5% and an incomplete percentage of 37.5%. In the second cycle, there was an increase in student learning outcomes, with a complete percentage of 91.66% and an incomplete percentage of 8.34%. Student activity also increased from active to very active, with an average activeness percentage of 90.63%. This proves that learning activities using the explicit instruction model can improve student learning outcomes and are able to encourage student activity in the learning process. Thus, this study concluded that the application of the explicit instruction learning model to students using stoichiometric material was proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes and activities. Abstrak Explicit instruction merupakan sebuah pendekatan mengajar dengan menjelaskan materi secara tatap muka, langsung, bertahap dan sistematis sehingga membantu siswa agar lebih mudah mempelajari dan memahami materi yang sedang di ajarkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang berupaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model  explicit instruction dalam proses pembelajaran kimia materi Stoikiometri. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X IPA 2 pada semester 1 tahun pembelajaran 2020/2021 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 24 orang. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan dengan durasi 90 menit. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil tes tertulis pada akhir siklus pertama dan kedua serta hasil observasi pada setiap pertemuan oleh satu orang guru sebagai observer. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 62,5% dan tidak tuntas sebesar 37,5%. Pada siklus kedua terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 91,66% dan persentase tidak tuntas sebesar 8,34%.  Aktivitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari kategori aktif menjadi sangat aktif dengan rata-rata persentase keaktifan adalah 90,63%.  Hal ini membuktikan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan model explicit instruction dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan mampu mendorong keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan demikian penelitian ini menyimpulkan bawah penerapan model pembelajaran explicit instruction pada siswa X IPA 2 materi stoikiometri terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil dan aktivitas belajar siswa.

Abstract

Purchasing decision is the process by which a consumer decides to buy a product or service. Purchasing decisions can be influenced by several factors including advertising, personal sales, and public relations, which are some of the parts of the promotional mix. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the promotional mix on the purchase decision of participants of the Medan State Polytechnic (Polmed) Grand Reunion Stand Event. Data collection through a survey by distributing questionnaires to MSMEs who are participants in the bazaar stand at the Medan State Polytechnic Grand Reunion event. The number of population and samples in this study is as many as 45 bazaar stand participants. Data collection is through questionnaires and literature studies, while to test the quality of data, validity and reliability tests are carried out. To determine the influence of advertising, personal sales, and public relations on purchase decisions, multiple linear regression tests were performed. The results of the research obtained by advertising have a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions. This shows that the ads made by the committee affect the interest of potential consumers, which ultimately drives purchase decisions. Meanwhile, personal sales have a positive but not significant effect on purchasing decisions. This influence is not strong enough to significantly influence consumer decisions in purchasing decisions. Public relations has a positive and significant influence on the decision to purchase the Medan State Polytechnic Bazaar (Polmed) Stand Event. Advertising, personal sales, and public relations are explained to affect purchasing decisions by 62.3%, while the rest are influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for increasing Local Own Revenue (PAD) through regional investment in Palu City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through documentation studies, in-depth interviews with key informants from BPKAD, DPMPTSP, Bappeda Palu City, and field observations. The results showed that Palu City's PAD has fluctuated over the past 10 years with the largest contribution from local taxes and levies. Regional investment through regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) has not been optimal in providing significant contribution to PAD. PAD enhancement strategies include: (1) optimizing regional asset management, (2) developing profitable BUMDs, (3) increasing investment in potential sectors, and (4) improving regional investment governance. This research provides policy recommendations to increase the effectiveness of regional investment as a sustainable source of PAD.

Abstract

Graha Maria Annai Velangkanni plays an important role as an icon of Medan City as well as a tourist destination that attracts visitors due to its historical value and beauty, contributing to the development of the local tourism industry. From January to April 2025, the number of tourist visits to this site fluctuated, which became the main focus of this study. Factors influencing tourists’ decisions to visit include tourism image and tourist attractions, considered key aspects in visitor preferences. This study aims to analyze the effect of tourism image and tourist attractions on the decision to visit Graha Maria Annai Velangkanni in Medan. The research employed a quantitative method, collecting primary data through survey questionnaires and literature review. Data analysis included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and calculation of the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) with a sample of 100 respondents. The results of the multiple linear regression showed a positive effect, with regression coefficients of 0.315 for tourism image and 0.845 for tourist attractions. The t-test results indicated t-values of 2.884 (p=0.005) for tourism image and 12.932 (p=0.001) for tourist attractions. The F-test produced an F-value of 100.429 with a significance of 0.001. These findings confirm that tourism image and tourist attractions have a positive and significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, on tourists’ decisions to visit Graha Maria Annai Velangkanni in Medan.
