Abstract

Background: Pneumonia is the main caused of morbidity and mortality in children under five years of worldwide. According to the Health Profile Data (2021), the province with the highest coverage of pneumonia among under-fives was in East Java (50%) and in Blitar Regency at 40%. Indonesia was tried to control pneumonia by increasing PCV immunization efforts. PCV immunization is first given at the age of two months along with pentabio immunization or known as multi injectable immunization. Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted at the Talun Primary Health Care in Blitar Regency on pregnant women in the 3rd trimester and mothers who have babies aged 0-2 months, it was found that 71% of mothers did not know about the existence of multiple immunization injections between pcv and pentabio. Knowledge about one's health can be done by providing health education. This study aims to analyze the effect of health education on knowledge of PCV immunization, pentabio and multi-injection immunization and acceptance of multi-injection immunization in respondents. Methods: This study used pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest. The number of samples was 40 respondents with sampling techniques used purposive sampling. The independent variable was health education which was given once with lecture method. The dependent variable was knowledge and acceptance of multi-injection immunization. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis used Wilcoxon signed rank test and Mc Nemar test. Results: After providing education showed that the knowledge of respondents in the good category increased from 25% to 95%, in the sufficient category 5% and there were no respondents in the poor category. Acceptance of multiple immunization injections after providing education showed that respondents receiving multiple immunization injections increased from 30% to 97.5%. Wilcoxon signed rank test results p = ≤0.01 and Mc nemar test results p = ≤0.01, indicating  significant effect of pneumococcal conjugated vaccine, pentabio, and multi-injection immunization  education on knowledge and acceptance of multi-injection immunization. Conclusion: There is an effect of providing education on  pneumococcal conjugated vaccine, pentabio, and multi-injection immunization  on knowledge and acceptance of multi-injection immunization

Abstract

ABSTRAK Era digital saat ini juga berpengaruh dalam dunia pendidikan. Karakteristik siswa sudah banyak yang dekat dengan teknologi serta dilihat dari kemampuan pihak sekolah dalam menfasilitasi teknologi agar pendidik dan sekolah mengintegrasikan pendekatan TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowleedge) untuk melaksanakan pendidikan di era digital. Penelitian ini mempunyai maksud tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Integrasi Pendekatan TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowleedge) Sekolah Dasar SIKL untuk melaksanakan pendiidkan era digital. Adapun metode atau cara yang diterapkan peneliti terhadap laporan ini adalah dengan metode atau cara kualitatif, yakni pengumpulan sumber data yang berasal dari wawancara secara virtual serta jurnal penelitian yang mana lebih mengutamakan pada tema Integrasi Pendekatan TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowleedge) untuk melaksanakan pendidikan di era digital. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, Integrasi Pendekatan TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowleedge) merupakan kerangka pembelajaran untuk mengolah berbagai bentuk pembelajaran baru yang menggunakan penggabungan tiga komponen penting antara lain teknologi, pedagogic, dan konten/materi pengetahuan, serta didalamnya terdiri dari tujuh komponen TPACK yaitu CK (Content Knowledge), PK (Pedagogy Knowledge), TK (Technology Knowledge), TPK (Technological Pedagogical Knowledge), TCK (Technological Content Knowledge), PCK (Pendagogical Content Knowledge) dan TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge). Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang berhubungan dengan integrasi pendekatan TPACK di era digital pada masa pandemic covid-19 tetap menerapkan blended learning dengan menggunakan domain google classroom sebagai platform pembelajaran di kelas. Kata Kunci : integrasi, TPACK, pedagogic, era digital ABSTRACT The current digital era is also influential in the world of education. The characteristics of many students are close to technology and seen from the ability of the school to facilitate technology so that educators and schools integrate the TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowleedge) approach to implementing education in the digital era. This study has the objective of describing the integration of the TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowleedge) approach to the SIKL Elementary School to carry out education in the digital era. The method or method applied by researchers to this report is the qualitative method or method, namely the collection of data sources from virtual interviews and research journals which prioritize the theme of Integration of the TPACK Approach (Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowleedge) to carry out education. in the digital age. This research shows that, the Integration of the TPACK Approach (Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowleedge) is a learning framework for processing various new forms of learning that use the combination of three important components, namely technology, pedagogics, and content / material knowledge, and it consists of seven TPACK components. namely CK (Content Knowledge), PK (Pedagogy Knowledge), TK (Technology Knowledge), TPK (Technological Pedagogical Knowledge), TCK (Technological Content Knowledge), PCK (Pendagogical Content Knowledge) and TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge). Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) in overcoming problems related to the integration of the TPACK approach in the digital era during the Covid-19 pandemic continues to apply blended learning by using the google classroom domain as a learning platform in the classroom. Abstract

Diphtheria, caused by Corynebacterium diphtheriae, is a significant public health threat, particularly in areas with low immunization coverage. Despite national immunization programs, sporadic outbreaks continue to occur, especially in East Java, which reported the highest number of cases in 2021. The disease is transmitted through respiratory droplets and can lead to severe complications if not diagnosed and treated promptly. Diphtheria mortality can be reduced with appropriate treatment, along with good immunization status. Diagnosis can be made both clinically and through laboratory tests, including culturing the diphtheria bacteria from swabs of affected tissues. This community service program aimed to enhance the capacity of healthcare workers in East Java, specifically in Sampang Regency, to manage diphtheria through training that included both theoretical and practical components. The training methods used included pre- and post-tests to assess knowledge, mini lectures on epidemiology, clinical symptoms, diphtheria vaccination, and management, along with case simulations to improve participants' practical skills. The program was attended by 42 participants from various healthcare professions, including doctors, nurses, health analysts, and surveillance officers The evaluation demonstrated a significant improvement in participants' knowledge after the training. This program contributed meaningfully to enhancing preparedness among local healthcare providers and is expected to support more robust early detection and response systems for diphtheria outbreaks in the future.

Abstract

Highlights: The majority of HIV/AIDS patients who succumbed to the effects of co-infection at Dr. Soetomo General Academic Hospital, Surabaya, Indonesia, were of productive age, with the predominant complications being anemia and bacterial infections. Tuberculosis was listed as the most common opportunistic infection that exacerbated the condition of HIV/AIDS patients and caused death during the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19.   Abstract Introduction: Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is an immune system disease caused by the HIV infection, making individuals susceptible to various diseases, including coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Co-infection in HIV/AIDS patients can worsen the severity of the diseases, especially in those with comorbidities, complications, and opportunistic infections, potentially leading to death. This study aimed to determine the mortality profile of COVID-19 co-infection in HIV/AIDS patients at Dr. Soetomo General Academic Hospital, Surabaya, Indonesia, from January 2020 to December 2022. Methods: This study employed a descriptive cross-sectional method, utilizing secondary data from 48 medical records of COVID-19 co-infection in HIV/AIDS patients at Dr. Soetomo General Academic Hospital, Surabaya, Indonesia, from January 2020 to December 2022, collected through a total sampling technique. Results: Of the 105 total HIV/AIDS patients with COVID-19 co-infection, 48 were selected in this study based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The mortality profile showed a predominance of males (75%), with an average age of 36.5 years. The most common comorbidity was bacterial infection (38.6%), with the highest complication being anemia (55.6%), and the most prevalent opportunistic infection being tuberculosis/TB (50%). Conclusion: The mortality profile of COVID-19 co-infection in HIV/AIDS patients indicated a higher occurrence among males, with an average age of 36.5 years old. The most common comorbidity was bacterial infection, whilst the most prevalent complications include anemia, with TB being the most frequent opportunistic infection.

Abstract

Infeksi Saluran Kemih merupakan salah satu penyakit yang sering terjadi pada anak. Gejala infeksi saluran kemih bervariasi tergantung dengan usia dan jenis kelamin. Sering kali infeksi saluran kemih terjadi pada perempuan daripada laki-laki. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode retrospektif potong lintang. Data yang diambil yaitu rekam medik pasien di Puskesmas Surabaya dengan teknik pengumpulan data cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pasien anak yang mengalami infeksi saluran kemih di Puskesmas Surabaya dengan usia 1-6 tahun (34,8%), jenis kelamin perempuan dan laki-laki (50%), dengan keluhan buang air kecil nyeri (86%), dari hasil urinalisis didapatkan bakteriuria. Pasien anak yang mengalami infeksi saluran kemih dari tipe pembiayaan menggunakan Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial-Penerima Bantuan Iuran (60,9%) di Puskesmas Jeruk (41,3%). Pasien infeksi saluran kemih pada penelitian ini yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki maupun perempuan memiliki nilai yang sama, berusia 1-6 tahun, dengan keluhan buang air kecil nyeri. Lokasi puskesmas yang terdapat banyak pasien infeksi saluran kemih pada anak ialah Puskesmas Jeruk dengan tipe pembiayaan Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial - Penerima Bantuan Iuran. Abstract

Introduction: Nutritional problems among toddlers remain a public health concern in Indonesia, including in Probolinggo City, where inadequate nutritional status and limited monitoring may hinder early intervention. Low attendance at community health posts for toddlers reduces the continuity of growth monitoring. The socioeconomic level of parents is considered one of the factors influencing attendance. Objective: To analyze the relationship between parental socioeconomic status and toddler attendance at community health posts in Kareng Lor, Probolinggo City. Method: This study used an observational analytic design with a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional method. A total of 100 respondents were selected randomly. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test and multivariate logistic regression. Result and Discussion: Parents with lower-middle socioeconomic status were entirely inactive in posyandu visits (100%), those with middle socioeconomic status were mostly active (64.5%), and all parents in the upper socioeconomic group were active (100%). Socioeconomic status showed a significant relationship with posyandu attendance (p < 0.05). Multivariate analysis indicated that the father’s occupation (OR = 16.43; p = 0.006) and household asset ownership (OR = 12.47; p = 0.005) were the dominant factors influencing posyandu attendance. Conclusions: Most parents had a middle socioeconomic level, and socioeconomic differences were associated with the activeness of posyandu visits. Father’s occupation and household assets were the key factors linked to higher attendance.
