Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job stress and work-life balance on employee well-being, with employee engagement as a mediating variable among Generation Z employees working in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 96 respondents selected through simple random sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that job stress has a negative and significant effect on employee well-being, while work-life balance has a positive and significant effect. Furthermore, job stress negatively affects employee engagement, whereas work-life balance positively influences employee engagement. Employee engagement is proven to have a positive and significant effect on employee well-being. In addition, employee engagement mediates the relationship between job stress and employee well-being and partially mediates the relationship between work-life balance and employee well-being. These findings suggest that reducing job stress and improving work-life balance are essential strategies for enhancing employee well-being, particularly among Generation Z employees. Strengthening employee engagement also plays a crucial role in promoting psychological well-being and sustainable performance in the workplace.

Abstract

Business location selection is a critical strategic decision that significantly influences operational efficiency, cost structure, and long-term competitiveness. The increasing complexity of decision criteria requires structured approaches that integrate analytical methods and decision support technologies. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of integrating Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods within a Decision Support System (DSS) for business location selection. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a Design Science Research framework, involving data collection through questionnaires, expert judgment, and secondary data. The analysis combines AHP for criteria weighting and TOPSIS for ranking alternative locations. The results indicate that the integrated DSS successfully generates clear and objective rankings, with the best location identified based on comprehensive evaluation of multiple criteria. The findings also demonstrate that the system effectively handles trade-offs between conflicting factors such as cost, accessibility, and infrastructure. In conclusion, the integration of MCDM methods within a DSS enhances decision accuracy, reduces subjectivity, and provides practical support for selecting optimal business locations in complex environments

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of stakeholders in the prevention and eradication of land mafia practices in Indonesia using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Land mafia is an organized crime in the land sector involving multiple actors and causing serious impacts on legal certainty, economic losses, and social conflicts within society. This research employs a qualitative method based on library research by analyzing relevant scientific articles, journals, and policy documents. The findings indicate that land mafia practices are carried out through various modus operandi, including document forgery, issuance of multiple land certificates, illegal land occupation, and collusion with public officials. Government efforts to prevent and eradicate land mafia include the establishment of the Anti-Land Mafia Task Force, digitalization of land services, implementation of electronic land certificates, and the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program. In addition, the involvement of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency, law enforcement agencies, local governments, supervisory institutions, society, and the private sector plays a crucial role in the effectiveness of land mafia eradication efforts. This study also identifies several challenges, such as weak inter-stakeholder coordination, limited integration of land administration data, and low legal literacy among the public. Based on stakeholder theory proposed by R. Edward Freeman, the success of land mafia prevention and eradication depends on the synergy among all parties involved
