Abstract

The problem of this research is the low natural science learning outcomes of elementary school students caused by student-centered learning and the inadequate use of teaching materials. This study aims to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model assisted by electronic student worksheets based on liveworksheet on natural science learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consists of fifth-grade students from SD Muhammadiyah 29 Sunggal. Data was collected through pretest and posttest, and analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test through Independent Samples t-test. The results show that the average posttest score of the experimental class was 86.08, higher than the control class at 76.33. The t-test resulted in a significant value of p < 0.001 with a mean difference of -9.747 and a 95% confidence interval (-14.095 to -5.398), indicating a significant difference. Based on the data analysis results, it is stated that the problem-based learning model assisted by electronic student worksheets has an impact on improving the learning outcomes of 5th-grade elementary school students in science learning. These findings support the development of student-centered science education aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum

Abstract

Abstract: This community service activity is motivated by the still low competence of teachers in designing collaborative learning based on local wisdom integrated with digital platforms, as well as the dominance of conventional teacher-centered learning. The objective of this activity is to enhance teachers' competencies in designing and implementing innovative learning based on technology and local context. The implementation method uses a participatory mentoring approach and learning by doing thru the stages of preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, as well as follow-up. The subjects of the activity are teachers from UPT SPF SDN 101797, conducted within the partner school environment. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, while data analysis uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. The results of the activities show an increase in teachers' competencies in collaborative learning from 48% to 87%, integration of local wisdom from 55% to 88%, digital literacy from 40% to 82%, and the use of digital platforms from 40% to 86%. The quality of learning devices improved from 58% to 88% and the effectiveness of learning from 52% to 85%. In conclusion, these activities effectively significantly enhance teachers' competencies and promote a more innovative, collaborative, and sustainably digital-based transformation of learning. Keyword: Collaborative Learning, Local Wisdom, Digital Literacy, Digital Platforms, Teacher Competence Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya kompetensi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran kolaboratif berbasis kearifan lokal yang terintegrasi platform digital, serta dominannya pembelajaran konvensional yang berpusat pada guru. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran inovatif berbasis teknologi dan konteks lokal. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan participatory mentoring dan learning by doing melalui tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi, serta tindak lanjut. Subjek kegiatan adalah guru UPT SPF SDN 101797 yang dilaksanakan di lingkungan sekolah mitra. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi guru pada pembelajaran kolaboratif dari 48% menjadi 87%, integrasi kearifan lokal dari 55% menjadi 88%, literasi digital dari 40% menjadi 82%, serta penggunaan platform digital dari 40% menjadi 86%. Kualitas perangkat pembelajaran meningkat dari 58% menjadi 88% dan efektivitas pembelajaran dari 52% menjadi 85%. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini efektif meningkatkan kompetensi guru secara signifikan dan mendorong transformasi pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif, kolaboratif, dan berbasis digital secara berkelanjutan. Abstract

Abstract: This study was motivated by the low digital literacy, psychosocial challenges, and high disaster risks faced by elementary school students in the Siosar relocation area, Karo Regency, following the eruption of Mount Sinabung. The study aimed to develop an Interactive Flat Panel (IFP)-based digital literacy learning model incorporating local wisdom to strengthen character, support mental health, and enhance disaster preparedness among students. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Four-D (4D) model, comprising the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires, then analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. The research outputs consist of a learning model, learning materials, and IFP-based media, all validated through expert reviews and limited trials. The developed model is expected to serve as a valid, practical, and effective learning innovation for improving digital literacy, character, mental health, and disaster preparedness among elementary school students in disaster-prone areas. Keywords: digital literacy, Interactive Flat Panel (IFP), local wisdom, disaster preparedness, elementary school.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya literasi digital, tantangan psikososial, serta tingginya risiko bencana yang dihadapi siswa sekolah dasar di kawasan relokasi Siosar, Kabupaten Karo, pascaerupsi Gunung Sinabung. Penelitian bertujuan mengembangkan model pembelajaran literasi digital berbasis Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) bermuatan kearifan lokal untuk memperkuat karakter, mendukung kesehatan mental, dan meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan bencana siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Four-D (4D), meliputi tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan angket, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Luaran penelitian berupa model pembelajaran, perangkat pembelajaran, serta media berbasis IFP yang divalidasi melalui uji ahli dan uji coba terbatas. Model yang dikembangkan diharapkan menjadi inovasi pembelajaran yang valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi digital, karakter, kesehatan mental, dan kesiapsiagaan bencana siswa sekolah dasar di wilayah rawan bencana. Abstract

Abstract: This Community Service activity aims to improve the quality of science learning at SDN 101749 Klumpang thru the integration of Augmented Reality (AR) technology and ethnoscience values. The partner for this activity is SDN 101749 Klumpang, which serves as the elementary school partner for developing learning innovation. The implementation method includes five main stages: socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of the activity show a significant improvement in students' science literacy, with the following pretest-posttest average scores: science concept understanding increased from 56 to 88 (+32), ethnoscience analysis from 56 to 84 (+28), and observation skills from 56 to 86 (+30), resulting in an overall average increase of 30%. Additionally, there was an improvement in teachers' competence in integrating AR and local wisdom into learning. With the support of ongoing training and mentoring, this program demonstrates that collaboration between technology and local culture can create science learning that is interactive, contextual, and relevant to the educational challenges of the 21st century.   Keyword: Science Literacy, Augmented Reality, Ethnoscience, Elementary School Abstrak: Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sains di SDN 101749 Klumpang melalui integrasi teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) dan nilai-nilai etnosains. Mitra kegiatan ini adalah SDN 101749 Klumpang sebagai sekolah dasar mitra pengembangan inovasi pembelajaran. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi lima tahap utama, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada literasi sains siswa, dengan nilai rata-rata pretest–posttest sebagai berikut: pemahaman konsep sains meningkat dari 56 menjadi 88 (+32), analisis etnosains dari 56 menjadi 84 (+28), dan keterampilan observasi dari 56 menjadi 86 (+30), sehingga rata-rata keseluruhan meningkat sebesar 30%. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan AR dan kearifan lokal ke dalam pembelajaran. Dengan dukungan pelatihan dan pendampingan berkelanjutan, program ini membuktikan bahwa kolaborasi antara teknologi dan budaya lokal mampu menciptakan pembelajaran sains yang interaktif, kontekstual, dan relevan dengan tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21.
