Abstract

This dedication is motivated by the existence of elementary school teachers who still have difficulty implementing blended learning-based learning due to the teacher's lack of knowledge when creating blended learning-based lesson plans while the elementary school teacher has quite a long teaching experience. The teacher's pedagogical competence referred to in this devotionis the competence that the teacher has based on the teacher's teaching experience and the suitability of the teacher in implementing blended learning-based learning in the classroom. This devotionaims to describe quantitatively and qualitatively the pedagogical competence of teachers in implementing blended learning-based learning in elementary schools. These include: (1) teacher pedagogical abilities, (2) assessment of lesson plans using the Blended Learning Model, (3) Teacher Teaching Practices using the Blended Learning Model. The type of devotionused in this devotionis a mixed/combination type of devotionor what is usually called mixed methods sequential explanatory model. This devotionaims to measure and describe the pedagogical competence of elementary school (SD) teachers. The results of the devotionshowed that the teacher's pedagogical competency score was 60 in the sufficient category, in the assessment of the blended learning-based RPP it was 80 in the good category, while in the blended learning-based teaching practice it reached 84.5 in the good category. By conducting this research, a picture of teachers' pedagogical competence in blended learning-based learning at SDN 003 Siabu can be created. In this case, it is in line with the results of devotion(Trisno: 2012) which states that Pedagogical Competence is the ability to manage student learning which includes understanding students, designing and implementing learning, evaluating learning outcomes and developing students to provide variations in learning to reduce student boredom so that students focus. in learning stay focused.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa di kelas IV UPT SDN 010 Siabu. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di kelas IV UPT SDN 010 Siabu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindalan kelas, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 1 orang guru dan 26 orang siswa, sedangkan objeknya adalah menggunakan media audio visual berupa vidio dari aplikasi capcut untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Instrumen yang dugunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari lembar observasi guru dan lembar observasi siswa selama pembelajaran berlangsung dengan menggunakan media audio visual. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan ditemukan bahwa ketuntasan secara klasikal dari data pada siklus 1 pertemuan I sebesar 19, 23% dan pada pertemuan II menjadi 23, 08%. Pada siklus II pertemuan I sebesar 88, 46% dan di pertemuan II meningkat lagi menjadi 92, 30%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa melalui penerapan metode Show and Tell pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam mengungkapkan gagasan secara lisan, ditandai dengan rasa malu, kurang percaya diri, serta keterbatasan kosakata dalam berbicara di depan kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa kelas IV SD pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2025. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes keterampilan berbicara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa dari rata-rata nilai 65 pada pra-siklus, meningkat menjadi 74,2 pada siklus I, dan 84,3 pada siklus II. Persentase ketuntasan belajar juga meningkat dari 33,3% menjadi 90%, sedangkan aktivitas siswa meningkat dari kategori “kurang aktif” menjadi “sangat aktif”. Siswa tampak lebih berani, lancar, dan percaya diri saat berbicara di depan kelas. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode Show and Tell terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas IV SD, serta menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang aktif, menyenangkan, dan bermakna. Abstract

The widespread use of digital technology has influenced children’s learning focus, often reducing their academic engagement. Alternative pedagogical strategies are therefore needed to strengthen primary students’ learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of storytelling in improving primary school students’ learning outcomes. A quantitative quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group was employed, involving 76 fourth-grade students divided into experimental and control classes. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test instruments, classroom observation, and documentation, and analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, ANOVA, and independent t-tests. The findings show that the storytelling group achieved significantly higher post-test scores than the control group, with an N-Gain of 0.52 (moderate category) compared to 0.17 (low category). Statistical analysis confirmed the effectiveness of storytelling (p < 0.05) in enhancing students’ conceptual understanding and learning engagement. In conclusion, storytelling is an effective and adaptable strategy for improving primary school students’ learning outcomes and can be integrated as a humanistic and culturally relevant approach in the classroom.

Abstract

Abstrak Pemberdayaan guru dalam pembelajaran sastra Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, terutama dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berbahasa dan apresiasi siswa terhadap karya sastra. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak program pengabdian masyarakat dalam pemberdayaan guru melalui pelatihan berbasis media digital dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang inovatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan guru melalui pelatihan penggunaan media digital dan pengajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran sastra secara lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan. Penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran dan media digital lainnya terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan minat baca siswa terhadap sastra. Selain itu, pembelajaran sastra yang terintegrasi dengan pengembangan karakter siswa, seperti empati, tanggung jawab, dan disiplin, mampu menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna. Meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam hal aksesibilitas teknologi di beberapa daerah, program pemberdayaan guru ini menunjukkan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di SD, yang dapat diimplementasikan lebih luas di masa depan. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leadership of the school principal in managing education at SDN 017 Pulau Lawas. The research focuses on identifying how the principal plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates educational management within the school environment. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method to obtain an in-depth understanding of leadership practices. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal and teachers. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results of the study indicate that the principal plays a significant role in improving the effectiveness of educational management through systematic planning, clear division of tasks, coordinated implementation of programs, and continuous evaluation. Supporting factors include leadership competence, collaboration among teachers, and a supportive school environment, while inhibiting factors include limited facilities and external policy constraints. This study is expected to contribute to the development of educational leadership practices and serve as a reference for improving the quality of school management.

Abstract

Permasalahan ini di latar belakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung peserta didik mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SDI Ummahatul  Mukminin Kecamatan Tampan  Kota Pekanbaru. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah dengan menerapkan metode drill. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode drill untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis tegak bersambung berbantuan media android. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan dan empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, refleksi, dan waktu penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Mei hingga Juni 2023. Subjek Penelitian ini peserta didik kelas II yang berjumlah 12 orang anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan berupa dokumentasi, observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung dengan menggunakan metode drill kelas II SDI Ummahatul Mukminin pada siklus I tergolong baik dengan rata-rata 73. Selanjutnya dari 12 orang peserta didik hanya 8 orang peserta didik yang tuntas sedangkan  ketuntasan belajar klasikal 66,66%. Pada siklus II sangat baik dengan rata-rata 78,58, dan dari 12 orang peserta didik terdapat 10 orang yang tuntas sedangkan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 83,33%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode drill dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung kelas II SDI Ummahatul Mukminin

Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of bullying on the emotional behavior of fourth-grade students at the UPT SD Negeri 013 Ganting. The research focuses on the impact of verbal, nonverbal, and physical bullying on students' emotional behavior. This study uses a qualitative method and a case study approach, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the homeroom teacher, one student who was a victim of bullying, and the victim's parents. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research shows that verbal bullying, such as teasing, insulting, and slandering, can lead to decreased self-confidence, feelings of shame, depression, and social withdrawal. Nonverbal bullying, such as threats, awkward behavior, and manipulative behavior, can lead to feelings of fear, anger, and discomfort in the classroom. Meanwhile, physical bullying, such as hitting and kicking, can cause victims to feel pain, trauma, and a reluctance to go to school. They may also exhibit changes in emotional behavior, such as becoming withdrawn and easily irritated. Overall, bullying significantly impacts students' emotional behavior, including decreased motivation to learn, feelings of depression, and difficulties socializing.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low speaking skills of second-grade students due to the dominant use of lecture-based teaching methods, which highlights the need for implementing a more appropriate instructional method. This study aims to improve the speaking skills of early grade students through the application of storytelling methods assisted by audiovisual media. The study was conducted in a public elementary school with 17 students as subjects, using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach consisting of two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research instrument was an observation sheet of teacher and student activities and an assessment of speaking skills. The results of the study showed an increase in students' speaking skills at each meeting. In Cycle I Meeting I, the average student speaking skills reached 64.71 (Poor category) with 9 students completing (52.94%), increasing in Cycle I Meeting II to 74.12 (Sufficient category) with 12 students completing (70.59%). Furthermore, in Cycle II Meeting I, the average reached 81.96 (Good category) with 14 students completing (82.35%), and Cycle II Meeting II the average was 88.63 (Good category) with 15 students completing (88.24%). This increase indicates that the storytelling method assisted by audiovisual media is effective in improving students' speaking skills. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of storytelling methods assisted by audiovisual media can improve the speaking skills of second-grade students at SDN 004 Salo.

Abstract

This research is based on the low results of mathematics problem-solving skills of students in grade IV MI AL FALAH. One of the solutions to overcome this problem is to use the Think Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) learning model. The purpose of this research is to improve problem-solving skills in mathematics learning material about integers. This research method is a class action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research time will be held in August 2025. The subjects of this study are 20 grade IV students, consisting of 13 male students and 7 female students. Data collection techniques are in the form of observation, tests and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that the results of students' mathematical problem-solving skills in the material of numerals in class IV MI AL FALAH preaction have an average score of 49.75 with classical completeness of 25%, then in the first cycle meeting 1 has increased to 57.40 with classical completeness of 40%, and in the first cycle of meeting 2 it has increased to 64.33 with classical completeness of 50%. Furthermore, in the second cycle of meeting 1, an average score of 79.02 was obtained with classical completeness of 90%, and in the second cycle of meeting 2, an average score of 83.84 was obtained with classical completeness of 100%. Thus, it can be concluded that students' mathematical problem-solving skills can be improved by applying the Think Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) model.
