Abstract

In the world, technology is developing rapidly towards digital and mobile. The rapid development of information technology gives many positive influences in life. One of them is buying and selling activities that are getting easier through e-commerce. In Indonesia, one of the most well-known and widely used e-commerce sites is Lazada. But in previous research there were several problems experienced by Lazada users related the interface. These problems also impacted to usability level of the Lazada.co.id website. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to improve the Lazada.co.id website from the interface side. Then, this will be tested to the respondent and assessed using a questionnaire. The results will be compared with the results of previous research obtained from the Lazada.co.id website. The method used in this research is the Integrated Design of Interface (IDI) method until the fourth stage by producing prototypes to improve user interface (UI), usability testing, and the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. Respondents consisted of six people at the initial interview stage and ten people at the usability testing stage, SUS questionnaire, and user experience interviews. The work background of each respondent varies with the age range of 16-65 years who have used e-commerce Lazada. Through the results of this research, recommendations for improvements through the Lazada prototype get better results compared to previous research on the Lazada.co.id website.

Abstract

Rabbani Food is one of the MSMEs engaged in the processing of various types of souvenirs such as spinach chips, curry chips, vegetable sticks, etc. So far, these MSMEs are still carrying out production and operational activities in the form of home-based businesses where the MSMEs are still carrying out financial management using the manual method. This turns out to still cause a variety of problems such as the frequent occurrence of discrepancies in recording production and operational activities so that what is targeted is not achieved, for example such companies often do not know the supply of their products in the shops where the products are distributed. Then the management of bookkeeping records is still often unsuitable because each book of sales and production does not match the target produced where the information needed is often incomplete in the bookkeeping. From this problem, the author will create an information system that can manage the production, operations, and marketing of MSMEs so that the problem of incompatibility of data in the MSME business process can be minimized and can facilitate the company to manage its production and distribution activities. Work on information systems developed using the waterfall method. Testing in this study uses the type of Validation Testing and User Acceptance Testing. From the results of value 87.63% of acceptance testing witch it means it could be said that the system was well received by the user.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Debitur (SID) is a means for debtors and creditors to view information related to historical individual debtor information (IDI) commonly known as BI Checking managed by Bank Indonesia (BI). Since January 1, 2018, SID service that was initially managed by BI is now managed by the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) and replaced by the Sistem Layanan Informasi Keuangan (SLIK). However, based on a preliminary study, it is known that there are many bank financial services institutions that complain about SLIK. This research aims to find out the factors that influence individual intentions in the use of SLIK. The population of this study was SLIK users in Rural Credit Banks in the Malang working area. The number of respondents in this study amounted to 70 respondents who were selected using the purposive sampling method. Before the research questionnaire was distributed, expert judgment and pilot studies were conducted to test the validity and reliability of the questionnaire. After several invalid items were repaired or deleted, the questionnaire was distributed to the main respondent. The classic assumption test results show that the research data are normals and free from heterocedasticity. multicollinearism and autocorrelation. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that the regression model proposed in this study has fulfilled the goodness of fit. In addition, the perceived usefulness variable has the effect of t and sig. (-1,872 and 0,066), perceived ease of use has an influence value of t and sig (2,682 and 0,009), security and privacy have an influence value of t and sig (2,756 and 0,008), technology readiness has the effect of t and sig (-1718 and 0.090). The four variables have influence partially or simultaneously on usage intention.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss user experience of Edmodo, Google Classroom, and compare user experience both of them. As well as providing suggestions for using Edmodo or Google Classroom. For this reason, researcher evaluated the user experience using Techniques for User eXperience Evaluation in e-Learning (TUXEL), in which there are three aspects inside, general usability, pedagogical usability, and user experience. The study was held in Vocational High School 5 Malang with 24 respondents. The results of this study on the general usability aspects, Edmodo found 9 problems and Google Classroom 12 problems. In the pedagogical usability aspects, Edmodo found 13 problems, and 15 problems in Google Classroom. On the aspect of user experience, Edmodo identified the following code: (1) supportive; (2) confusing; (3) complicated. As for the Google Classroom, that is the following code: (1) practical; (2) pleasing; (3) does not meet expectations; (4) confusing. The conclusion is, Edmodo is suitable for the learning process that uses full online learning, while Google Classroom is more suitable to be used as supporting / complementary learning.

Abstract

Edmodo and Moodle are systems which can be use in learning management. These two systems are popular in middle school and higher educational level. But, not all of the instructors know how to operate these systems caused by complicated design that have an impact in usability and learnabililty aspect. In order for usability reached properly, these two systems need to be evaluated with cognitive walkthrough and heuristic evaluation, six evaluators and comparative research. There are 15 problems in Moodle and seven problems in learning ability using the cognitive walkthrough method. For research with heuristic evaluation methods, there are 16 problems in Moodle with the highest frequency is H-8 (Aesthetic and minimalist design), as well as total severity rating is 2.50. As for the heuristic evaluation method in Edmodo, there were 15 problems with the highest frequencies are: (1) H-1 (System status visibility); (2) H-2 (Suitability between the system and the real world); (3) H-4 (Consistency and standards); (4) H-7 (Flexibility and efficiency of use); (5) H-8 (Aesthetic and minimalist design); and (6) H-10 (Help and documentation) as many as two for each principle, and the total average number of severity rating is 2.30. Edmodo is recommended because of it's user interface design that can be easily recognized by user. While, Moodle is recommended for an expert user that needs a LMS that has complex feature.

Abstract

The integrated educational institution of SD Brawijaya Smart School applies various innovations and creations on information technology that are used to grow and develop the potential in students. However, in Science subjects Solar System material for class VI media used is still standard with the use of textbooks and illustrated paper. Support solutions implemented by developing interactive multimedia-based learning media using the APPED model. The stages of R & D (Research and Development) type research from the APPED model are to carry out initial analysis and research, design, production, evaluation and dissemination. All components in the test results of the ongoing evaluation have worked well according to three specific criteria and the developer has proven all valid results. While the results of the validation of income, the percentage of alpha testing was 95.5% by material experts, 92.5% by instructional experts, and 88.8% by media experts. Therefore, according to the experts it was declared valid and according to the criteria of "Very Good". The beta test results for the pre-test value averaged 65 then increased to 90 above the KKM to assess the post-test. "Completed" and denied that Interactive Multimedia Learning (MPI) products are better and more feasible to be used in teaching and learning activities in the classroom.

Abstract

Every institution has standard operating procedures in carrying out operational activities. Standard operating procedures are important to implemented and it is important to be carried out effectively and efficiently because this is an absolute requirement for institution to achieve their vision and mission. Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) University of Brawijaya is one of the educational institutions that applies standard operating procedures in the operational process. Standard operating procedures also apply for students. One of the medias that used to deliver these informations to students is through FILKOM's official website. However, it was found that the FILKOM website did not provide a good user experience. The purpose of this study is to propose a solution that can support to solve the problems perceived by students using design thinking. The stages carried out in this study were to dig deeper the problem, analyze the findings data, develop a solution, make a prototype based on solution, and test the user interface. The proposed solution is to add a Service Procedure page to the FILKOMAPPS web apps and create a chatbot for public service procedures. The final results of the study show that the user interface design is in accordance with the desire of the students and proposed solution has been able to support to solve the problems experienced by students.

Abstract

Information systems FILKOM UB is an educational institution that has an organizational structure and a lecturer-professor who teaches in the Department of information systems. When entering the final period of the semester, will conduct an evaluation of professors, how performance of the lecturer found on questionnaires in SIAM. However, the current shortfall to evaluate the performance results of the lecturers are still using paper print out so extravagant in the use of paper. Therefore required an evaluation system that was created to provide information and evaluation of lecturers that aims to simplify the evaluation of lecturers in order to be more effective and efficient. On this research will create a system of evaluation of the teaching and learning process (PBM) web-based. This research uses Human Centered Design as research methodology. To test your system using usability testing as his judgement, and also parameter using 3 metriks consisting of metrics, metrics of efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction metrics. On the metrics obtained effectiveness trial results with 100% percentage of success. On efficiency metrics obtained the result total average time required in carrying out tasks in PBM evaluation system is less than 60 seconds. Get satisfaction metrics on the result of the dissemination of the questionnaire respondents amounted to 82.5 SUS where the results can be classified in 3 aspects of the assessment, the first "Acceptable", the second "Grade B", and three "Excellent".

Abstract

Internet has become a part of society's daily routine. One of the activities carried out through the internet is online transactions. Following the growth of online transactions also makes the emergence of various types of e-commerce to meet people's needs. Fashion e-commerce is one of many e-commerce type that often used to fulfill people's need. E-Commerce XYZ, Vipplaza.co.id and Berrybenka are fashion e-commerce engaged in the same field and have common characteristics. This study aims to compare the user experience gained while using all three e-commerce websites that have the same characteristics and business processes. This research was carried out using the scenario testing method and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The scenario testing will be carried out for 10 new users based on four parameter: task completed, error rate, number of clicks and time per completed task. User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) has 6 measurement scales and will be filled by 25 respondents. After testing section and fill the questionnaire, the respondent will be interviewed to find out the responses and problems during the scenario testing. The conclusion from the result shows that E-Commerce XYZ has a better level of user experience than Vipplaza.co.id and Berrybenka.com

Abstract

m-KantorPos is a mobile application-based service by PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero). This application needs to be evaluated by measuring the level of usability and exploring problems to produce recommendations for application improvements. The method used in this study is usability testing to measure the components of learnability, efficiency and errors. The interview was used to explore the usability issues of the m-KantorPos application. The System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire is used to measure component satisfaction. Usability testing and interviews were conducted on 6 new users of the m-KantorPos application selected based on a range of 19-34 years old and 35-54 years old. The questionnaire was filled by 30 respondents of active users of m-KantorPos application. Based on the test results obtained an ease rate of 75.00%, the speed level of 0.04 goals / sec, an error rate of 0.11 and a satisfaction rate of 50.00%-60.00%. There are 9 usability issues such as invisible menus, menu titles that are too long, vague button colors, slow loading times, application interface layout not flexible and non-responsive, less responsive buttons,. From these problems, recommendations for improvement are formulated according to the usability guidelines that are in accordance with the functions, features and content of m-KantorPos applications.
