Abstract

Taman Baru Village is a village located in Kalianda District, South Lampung Regency, Lampung Province, Indonesia. This village has an area of about 1.13 square km and a population of about 2,500 people. Taman Baru Village is known as a village that has quite good tourism potential, especially in terms of natural tourism. In this village there are beautiful beaches and waterfalls that are interesting to visit. In addition, in Taman Baru village there are also several other tourist attractions such as Tourist Parks and Recreational Parks. Taman Baru Village also has quite good transportation access and can be easily reached from the surrounding cities. The implementation of community service is carried out by counseling first and then assisting the practice of the counseling. The availability of experts from Lecturers of Mitra Indonesia University, and assistants from students, participants (community), local officials so that this community service activity is carried out. The benefits obtained from this Community Service activity include being able to educate the community to carry out tourism village management that can be integrated so that the exploration of tourist villages becomes harmonious in tourism management and local residents. Overall, the implementation of this PKM has succeeded in having a significant positive impact on Way Tebing Cepa Village. In addition to developing tourism and improving the local economy, this program has also succeeded in increasing the capacity of village human resources, so that they are better prepared and able to manage and advance their tourism potential. This program also shows the importance of collaboration between students, lecturers, villagers, and other related parties in achieving the desired goals.ABSTRAKDesa Taman Baru adalah sebuah desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Kalianda, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan, Provinsi Lampung, Indonesia. Desa ini memiliki luas wilayah sekitar 1.13 km persegi dan penduduk sekitar 2.500 jiwa. Desa Taman Baru dikenal sebagai desa yang memiliki potensi pariwisata yang cukup baik, khususnya dalam hal wisata alam. Di desa ini terdapat pantai yang indah dan air terjun yang menarik untuk dikunjungi. Selain itu, di desa Taman Baru juga terdapat beberapa tempat wisata lainnya seperti Taman Wisata dan Taman Rekreasi. Desa Taman Baru juga memiliki akses transportasi yang cukup baik dan dapat dijangkau dengan mudah dari kotakota sekitarnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang pertama yaitu penyuluhan dengan pemberian materi seputar pengelolaan SDM yang baik dalam meningkatkan perkembangan wisata Desa Way Tebing Cepa oleh tim PkM Universitas Mitra Indonesia, setelah itu dilakukan sesi tanya jawab kepada peserta. Terlaksananya kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini didukung oleh ketersediaan tenaga ahli dari para Dosen Universitas Mitra Indonesia, tenaga pembantu dari Mahasiswa, peserta (masyarakat), Pejabat setempat sehingga kegiatan ini berjalan lancar tanpa hambatan. Manfaat yang didapatkan dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini antara lain dapat mengedukasi masyarakat untuk melakukan pengelolaan desa wisata yang dapat terintegrasi sehingga eksplorasi desa wisata menjadi harmoni dalam pengelolaan wisata dan penduduk setempat. Secara keseluruhan, pelaksanaan PKM ini berhasil memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan bagi Desa Way Tebing Cepa. Selain mengembangkan pariwisata dan meningkatkan ekonomi lokal, program ini juga berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas sumber daya manusia desa, sehingga mereka lebih siap dan mampu dalam mengelola dan memajukan potensi pariwisata yang dimiliki. Program ini juga menunjukkan pentingnya kolaborasi antara mahasiswa, dosen, warga desa, serta pihak-pihak terkait lainnya dalam mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan.

Abstract

The strategic use of language during instruction is essential for creating meaningful interaction between teachers and learners. Forms of communication occurring in the classroom are manifested through speech acts that structure the flow of teaching and learning. Drawing on Searle’s typology, these speech acts may appear as assertives, directives, commissives, expressives, or declarations. This study aims to explore the types and communicative functions of speech acts employed by the teacher in the Speaking 3–Advanced class of the Business and Humanities Study Program at Institut Teknologi Bisnis and Bahasa Dian Cipta Cendikia. Utilizing a qualitative research design, natural classroom interactions were observed and analyzed to capture authentic pedagogical communication. The findings reveal that the teacher produced significantly more utterances than the students, with directive speech acts occurring most frequently. These directives served multiple pedagogical purposes, such as managing classroom procedures, structuring activities, giving instructions, and prompting student responses. The results affirm the teacher’s role not only as a provider of academic content but also as a key manager of classroom discourse through diverse speech act realizations. ABSTRAKPengelolaan bahasa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran memiliki peranan sentral dalam membangun interaksi yang produktif antara guru dan peserta didik. Seluruh bentuk komunikasi di kelas tampak melalui tindak tutur yang digunakan selama proses instruksional berlangsung. Mengacu pada kerangka kategorisasi Searle, tindak tutur dapat diklasifikasikan ke dalam lima bentuk utama, yakni asertif, direktif, komisif, ekspresif, dan deklaratif. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengungkap variasi jenis tindak tutur serta fungsi komunikatifnya sebagaimana direalisasikan oleh pengajar pada kelas Speaking 3–Advanced di Program Studi Bisnis dan Humaniora Institut Teknologi Bisnis dan Bahasa Dian Cipta Cendikia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan observasi langsung terhadap interaksi kelas yang berlangsung secara alami. Berdasarkan hasil temuan, guru mendominasi produksi ujaran dibandingkan mahasiswa. Tindak tutur direktif muncul dengan persentase tertinggi dan berperan dalam mengarahkan kegiatan, menjaga alur pembelajaran, memberikan instruksi, serta memandu tanggapan mahasiswa. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa peran guru tidak terbatas pada penyampaian materi, tetapi juga sebagai pengatur interaksi dan pengendali dinamika kelas melalui penggunaan variasi tindak tutur.

Abstract

Introduction: Anemia remains a significant public health problem among adolescents, particularly female students, and is commonly associated with inadequate iron intake and low hemoglobin levels, which can negatively affect physical performance and cognitive function. Patterns of iron-rich food consumption and adherence to iron supplement intake are considered key factors influencing the occurrence of anemia among students, yet these behaviors are often suboptimal and require further investigation. Objective: Anemia is the result of examining hemoglobin (Hb) levels in the blood that are lower than normal and this condition can be caused by a lower number of red blood cells. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between food consumption patterns of iron sources and compliance with the consumption of blood supplement tablets with the incidence of anemia in grade XI students at MAN 1 Lampung Utara. Method: This type of research is quantitative, employing an analytic research design, specifically a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all grade XI students at MAN 1 Lampung Utara with a total of 149 students. The sampling technique used a proportionate stratified random sampling method with a total sample of 65 respondents. Result: The results of this study are the relationship between the pattern of consumption of iron-source foods with anemia characterized by the results of a p-value of 0.001 and the relationship between compliance with consumption of blood supplement tablets with anemia characterized by the results of a p-value of 0.022. Conclusion: It is hoped that female students can change the frequency of food consumption patterns, especially those containing iron, and routinely consume blood supplement tablets according to their recommendations in order to fulfill and increase iron reserve storage in the body in order to prevent anemia.

Abstract

Introduction: Childhood malnutrition remains a significant public health concern, and adequate nutritional intake during hospitalization is essential to support recovery and growth in pediatric patients. Hospital food services are required to provide nutritionally adequate and acceptable meals; however, food waste among hospitalized children, particularly during breakfast, remains a persistent problem. High levels of leftover food may indicate low food acceptability and inadequate food intake, which can hinder the fulfillment of children’s nutritional needs. Food acceptability, influenced by sensory characteristics and eating habits, plays an important role in determining food consumption among pediatric patients. Therefore, evaluating the relationship between food acceptability, food intake, and breakfast food waste is crucial to improve the effectiveness of hospital nutrition services for children. Objective: Child nutrition issues, such as wasting and stunting, remain a serious challenge, especially in developing countries. Optimal nutrition in hospitals is important to support children's growth and recovery. This study aims to analyze the relationship between acceptability and food intake to morning food waste in pediatric patients at Santa Anna Hospital. Method: This study used a descriptive quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. A sample of 30 inpatient pediatric patients was taken purposively. Acceptability was measured using an organoleptic assessment form, while food intake was measured using the Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ). Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately using the chi-square test. Result: The results showed that 86.7% of children liked the morning meal menu, 96.6% had sufficient to good intake, but 53.3% still left food in large quantities. There was a significant relationship between acceptability and food waste (p = 0.009), and between food intake and food waste (p = 0.001). Conclusion: The higher the acceptability and food intake, the less food leftovers left by pediatric patients.. Conclusion: The results of this study emphasize the importance of improving the quality of nutrition services, including menu improvement, presentation, and patient companion education to reduce food waste and support optimal recovery of pediatric patients. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between eating habits and food presentation with food acceptance in the free nutritious meal program at SMPN 36 Bandar Lampung in 2025. The background of this study is the importance of good eating habits and attractive food presentation to improve students' food acceptance, thereby ensuring the program runs effectively. The study used a cross-sectional design with 88 respondents selected through total sampling. Eating habits data were collected using a questionnaire, food presentation was assessed through an observation sheet, while acceptance was measured using the food residue weighing method. Analysis included univariate analysis for frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that most students had good eating habits (59.1%), rated food presentation as sufficiently appealing (58.0%), and had good food acceptance (56.8%). Bivariate test results showed no significant relationship between eating habits and food acceptability (p 0.05), but there was a significant relationship between food presentation and acceptability (p 0.05). In conclusion, food presentation influences acceptability, while eating habits do not. It is recommended that program managers pay attention to the visual aspects, aroma, and portion sizes of food to support program success.

Abstract

Dismenore atau nyeri haid merupakan masalah kesehatan yang umum dialami remaja putri dan dapat menurunkan kualitas hidup. Di Bandar Lampung, prevalensinya mencapai 54,9%. Pengetahuan gizi, perilaku makan, dan status gizi diduga berpengaruh terhadap kejadian serta tingkat keparahan dismenore. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan gizi, perilaku makan, dan status gizi dengan kejadian dismenore pada remaja putri kelas X dan XI di SMK Al-Huda Jati Agung, Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional, melibatkan 111 responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan pengukuran antropometri, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden memiliki pengetahuan gizi rendah (87,4%) dan mengalami dismenore sedang hingga berat. Pada remaja dengan perilaku makan buruk, sebanyak 44,3% mengalami dismenore sedang, sedangkan 60,0% remaja dengan status gizi kurang (underweight) mengalami dismenore berat. Analisis statistik menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan gizi (p = 0,005), perilaku makan (p = 0,001), dan status gizi (p = 0,000) dengan tingkat keparahan dismenore. Kesimpulan: Pengetahuan gizi yang baik, perilaku makan sehat, dan status gizi yang ideal berhubungan dengan penurunan tingkat keparahan dismenore pada remaja putri.
