Abstract

In an effort to maximize production profits, companies often face constraints that come from the resources used in the production process. Moreover, companies that produce more than one type of product are required to be able to make optimization efforts in determining the level of production that can achieve maximum profit with limited available resources. This study aims to analyze the most optimal combination of production levels to maximize profits from four types of sweet breads produced based on 3 resource constraints, namely the availability of raw materials, direct labor hours and machine working hours; and perform a dual analysis on each resource. This research was conducted in Keduanan Village, Depok District, Cirebon Regency in a creative agro-industry company called Roti Wakwaw. The design of this study is a quantitative design with the interview method using a questionnaire to 7 people consisting of one company owner and six employees. Data analysis tools using linear programming and dual analysis. The results of the research include an optimum model that increases profits with an additional profit of Rp. 129,700 per one day of production from the actual profit. The results of the dual analysis show that all resources are in excess and inactive, except for sugar as raw materials which are rare and positive.

Abstract

PG Madukismo, salah satu sentra agroindustri gula terbesar di Indonesia dan merupakan perusahaan agroindustri berbasis tebu yang memproduksi gula secara profesional. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengkaji profil masyarakat yang bekerja dan tidak bekerja di PG Madukismo dan menganalisis hubungan karakteristik masyarakat terhadap pendapatan masyarakat di sekitar perusahaan, Desa Tirtonirmolo. Sample terbagi dalam 2 kategori, 12 responden masyarakat yang bekerja dan 57 responden masyarakat yang tidak bekerja di PG Madukismo. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitaif dan teknik survey. Analisis data sekunder dengan analisis deskriptif dan uji chi-square dilakukan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan masyarakat yang bekerja di PG Madukismo didominasi oleh laki-laki berusia >21 tahun dengan tingkat pendidikan SMA, mayoritas jarak tempuh para karyawan >300m hingga >1500m, dengan lama tinggal >15 tahun sebanyak 7 orang dan <15 tahun sebanyak 5 orang. Masyarakat yang tidak bekerja di PT Madukismo didominasi  perempuan berusia >21 tahun dengan rerata tingkat pendidikan SMA. Mayoritas masyarakat yang tidak bekerja di PT Madukismo bekerja sebagai karyawan swasta. Pendapatan mayoritas sebesar Rp1.600.000,00–Rp3.500.000,00 dengan tanggungan 3-5 orang dengan jarak dan lama tinggal sama seperti karyawan PT Madukismo. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan keterkaitan antara karakteristik masyarakat di Desa Tirtonirmolo dan pendapatan.

Abstract

  Harga mangga indonesia cenderung rendah dan ketersediaan mangga yang berfluktuatif akibat panen mangga yang musiman, sehingga untuk meningkatkan harga dan ketersediaan maka perlu adanya pengolahan mangga.  Di Desa Cikeruh, Kecamatan Jatinangor, Kabupaten Sumedang terdapat  banyak UMKM penjual produk olahan mangga yang sesuai untuk mendapatkan sosialisasi preferensi dan segmentasi konsumen produk agar memperoleh informasi untuk mengembangkan usaha serta mendapatkan input untuk mengembangkan bisnis sesuai preferensi dan segmentasi konsumennya sehingga diharapkan terjadi peningkatan nilai usaha pada bisnis mereka. Makalah ini menggambarkan profil UMKM pengolahan mangga di Desa Cikeruh, mengambarkan metode dan proses jalannya kegiatan pengabdian serta menganalisis hasil evaluasi dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian. Kegiatan PPM ini diikuti oleh 10 peserta UMKM pengolahan mangga. Kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah kegiatan sosialisasi segmentasi dan preferensi konsumen kepada penjual produk olahan mangga. Berdasarkan Hasil uji beda Wilcoxon Signed-rank menunjukkan bahwa dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hal pengetahuan para pelaku UMKM mangga mengenai segmentasi dan preferensi konsumen mangga dari sebelum dilakukan kegiatan sosialisasi dan setelahnya. Sementara untuk variabel pendapatan, hanya nilai bisnis saja yang mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan masyarakat Indonesia yang semakin meningkat disertai peningkatan dalam pendidikan dan pendapatan menyebabkan peningkatan dan konsumsi beras, baik jumlahnya dan mutunya. Masyarakat memerlukan pangan yang yang bergizi dan aman untuk dikonsumsi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara karakteristik konsumen beras sehat Bogowonto dengan pola pembelian dan pola konsumsi beras sehat Bogowonto. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara studi literatur dan pengolahan data sekunder. Rancangan analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas konsumen beras sehat Bogowonto berumur 33-64 tahun, berjenis kelamin laki-laki, berpendidikan SMA kebawah, bekerja sebagai petani organik dengan pendapatan sekitar Rp 2.000.000 – Rp 2.499.999. Variabel karakteristik konsumen dan perilaku mengkonsumsi beras sehat yang berkorelasi secara signifikan adalah antara jumlah tanggungan dan pengeluaran untuk membeli beras sehat Bogowonto, dan antara jumlah tanggungan dan jumlah pembelian beras sehat Bogowonto.

Abstract

Nowadays, coffee is popular increasingly so that more coffee shops are established. Every business provides services, quality and other factors that vary. This diversity causes high competition increasingly so that the actors of a new business have to understand market segmentation and consumer needs. The objectives of this study are: 1) identifying the characteristics of consumers of coffee and the factors that influence purchasing decisions; (2) determine the relationship of consumer characteristics to the factors that influence consumer decisions in purchasing. This research method uses secondary data and literature studies. The number of samples used in this study is one with a sample size is 68. Analysis tools on consumer characteristics and the factors that influence purchasing decisions using descriptive statistics and on the relationship between characteristics and factors that influence purchasing decisions using cross tabulation analysis and chi square test. The analysis shows that the majority of consumers are male, aged 21-24 years, occupations as students and from Yogyakarta. The most influential factor is the service factor and the least effect is the environmental factor. From the results of the cross-tabulation analysis shows that in general, consumer characteristics namely age, sex, occupation and origin have a relationship to factors that influence purchases such as psychological factors, environment, service, marketing, personal and personality, except that personality factors do not have age related. Moreover, sex and age characteristics has the psychological, service and personality as the important consideration.

Abstract

Farming activities aim to increase productivity so that profits will be higher. Production and productivity cannot be separated from the production factors owned by farmers to increase the production of their crops. The purpose of this study was to describe the characteristics of pineapple farming and the relationship between farmer characteristics, namely land area and farming inputs, capital and farming income. The data used in this study were 42 farmers in Astomulyo Village, Punggur District, Central Lampung. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, cross tabulation and chi-square analysis. The results showed that farmers with large land areas (> 1 Ha) produced high pineapple production using 41 thousand - 60 thousand seeds and farming income of more than 100 million per year, but costs for rent and production were categorized as high, above 10 million. Farmers who have medium land (0.5 - 1 Ha) use as much as 21 thousand - 40 thousand seeds with the majority of farm income generated exceeding 100 million, but the cost of renting the land is quite high, which is 10 million/year and high input costs exceed 10 million/year. Farmers who have small land (<1 Ha) use seeds ranging from 10 thousand - 20 thousand, have limited land, earn less than 50 million/year, cheap rent costs less than 5 million/year and farming costs less than 10 million/year. Based on the results of comparative analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between land area and stem seed farming inputs, total income, farming costs (rent), and farming costs (saprotan) at a significant level of 5%.

Abstract

 Horticultural agriculture subsector has a role in improving public health through improved nutrition, including as a source of vitamins. One of the horticultural commodities which is superior in its production is citrus. One of citrus production centers in Sumatra is Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra. The yield of citrus farming in Simalungun Regency is actually quite high, but when entering the dry season the production of citrus will drop dramatically. In addition, seasonal changes can sometimes reduce the quality of citrus, although indirectly. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics, competence and motivation of citrus farmers in Simalungun Regency and to comparing citrus productivity based on the characteristics, competence and motivation of the farmers. The research data is 100 respondents in size. The method used for data analysis is descriptive analysis, one way anova and LSD Fisher. The results of the study found that the majority of citrus farmers in Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra were male with a total of 64 people, aged over 27 years, had a land area of under 2.5 hectares, had secondary education, namely SMA-D3, with experience over 10 years in farming. oranges, have high motivation, and have citrus productivity levels that vary in the range of 5000-30,000 kg/ha. The results of the comparative analysis can be concluded that there are significant differences in citrus productivity among groups of farmers classified based on level of education, land tenure and competency. Whereas in the classification of farmer groups based on experience and motivation, the productivity is not different.

Abstract

Pineapple is one of the mainstay commodities in West Java, but even so, the production still fluctuates, as well as the income of the farmers. Many factors will influence both of them. The purpose of this research is to find out descriptively the production of pineapples and the farmers' income, then related to their characteristics. The method used is secondary data analysis. Data analysis tools used include descriptive statistics and cross-tabulations. The results showed that the most dominant Bogor pineapple farmers were aged 36-45 years, who had graduated from elementary school, also had farming experience of around 1-15 years, the majority of the land area used by farmers was less than 0.5 hectares, and those who owned related to pineapple production and farmers' income is the level of education.

Abstract

Fruits and their preparations are beneficial in maintaining the body's immunity, but students are included in the group that consumes them less. The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of students and their families, and to relate them to consumption patterns of fruit and its preparations. The research method used is survey. The data analysis technique used includes descriptive statistics. Respondents in the study were students of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Padjadjaran. Research shows the characteristics of the majority of respondents are women, aged 20 years, living in boarding houses. The majority of respondents' pocket money is 500 thousand - 1.5 million rupiah, spending on consumption of fruit and processed products is less than 150 thousand rupiah, has a family size of 4 people, and the last education of their parents is university. Popular types of fruit to consume are mangoes and fruit juices. The number of respondents with a minimum consumption of 150 grams/day was only 9%. These results are dominated by male respondents, have an pocket money of IDR 500 thousand -1.5 million, consumption expenditure ≥ IDR 150 thousand, the number of family members is 4-5 people and their parents' education is university. INTISARIBuah beserta olahannya bermanfaat dalam menjaga imunitas tubuh, tetapi mahasiswa termasuk ke dalam kelompok yang kurang dalam mengonsumsinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik mahasiswa dan keluarganya, serta dihubungkan dengan pola konsumsi buah dan olahannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi statistik deskriptif. Responden pada penelitian adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Padjadjaran. Penelitian menunjukkan  karakteristik responden mayoritas perempuan, berusia 20 tahun, tinggal di kos. Mayoritas uang saku responden 500 ribu – 1.5 juta rupiah, Pengeluaran untuk konsumsi buah dan olahannya kurang dari 150 ribu rupiah, memiliki jumlah anggota keluarga 4 orang, serta pendidikan terakhir orang tua yaitu perguruan tinggi. Jenis buah populer untuk dikonsumsi adalah mangga dan jus buah. Jumlah tesponden dengan jumlah konsumisinya minimal 150 gram/hari hanya 9%. Hasil tersebut didominasi oleh Responden laki -laki, memiliki uang saku Rp 500 ribu -1,5 Juta, pengeluaran konsumsi ≥Rp 150 ribu, jumlah anggota keluarga 4-5 orang dan pendidikan orangtuanya adalah perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Pada masa pandemi Covid-19, WHO menganjurkan masyarakat termasuk mahasiswa untuk mengkonsumsi makanan yang baik guna meningkatkan imunitas tubuh. Salah stu jenis makanan yang dapat meningkatkan imun tubuh adalah makanan Fermentasi akan tetapi ralitanya masyarakat indonesia masih rendah dalam mengkonsumsi makanan fermentasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Menjelaskan faktor-faktor apa saja yang berhubungan dengan pola konsumsi makanan fermentasi . Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji chi-square . Responden penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa Universitas Padjadjaran dengan ukuran sampel 60 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Terdapat hubungan antara faktor motivasi dan faktor peran teman sebaya terhadap variabel frekuensi konsumsi makanan fermentasi. ABSTRACTDuring the Covid-19 pandemic, WHO advised the public, including students, to consume good food to increase body immunity. One type of food that can increase the body's immunity is fermented food, but the reality is that Indonesian people are still low in consuming fermented food. The purpose of this study is to explain what factors are related to the pattern of consumption of fermented foods. This study uses a quantitative design with a survey method and the analytical technique used is the chi-square test. Respondents in this study were students of Padjadjaran University with a sample size of 60 people. The results showed that there was a relationship between motivational factors and peer factors on the variable frequency of consumption of fermented foods.
