Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence, self-concept and the performance effectiveness of Islamic Junior High School teachers in Islamic Boarding School, Langkat District, North Sumatra, Indonesia. This research used survey method with correlation technique. The sample in this study amounted to 32 teachers and the research data were collected by using questionnaires. All data were analyzed by using simple and multiple regression and correlation statistic. The results of this study revealed that: (1) there is a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and the effectiveness of teachers’ performance, (2) there is a positive relationship between self-concept and the effectiveness of teachers’ performance, and (3) there is a positive relationship between emotional intelligence, self-concept and the effectiveness of teachers’ performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perkembangan e-learning dan platform pembelajaran digital sebagai solusi pendidikan di era teknologi informasi. E-learning merupakan metode pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan teknologi internet sehingga proses belajar dapat dilakukan secara fleksibel, baik dari segi waktu maupun tempat. Penelitian ini menganalisis konsep dasar, karakteristik utama, manfaat, serta tantangan dalam penerapan e-learning di Indonesia. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-learning memberikan banyak manfaat, seperti memperluas akses pendidikan, meningkatkan efisiensi waktu dan biaya, serta mendukung pembelajaran mandiri. Selain itu, berbagai platform digital seperti Google Classroom, Moodle, Ruangguru, dan Zenius menyediakan fitur pendukung, antara lain kelas virtual, manajemen materi, penilaian otomatis, dan forum diskusi. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan beberapa tantangan utama, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, rendahnya motivasi belajar mandiri, dan literasi digital yang masih perlu ditingkatkan. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada pembahasan integratif antara konsep e-learning dan perkembangan teknologi terbaru, termasuk pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan untuk personalisasi pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pendidik dan pengambil kebijakan dalam mengoptimalkan teknologi digital guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the holistic impact of the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education, both from the positive and negative sides. With a qualitative approach and library study method, this study examines various literature and the latest research results related to the integration of ICT in learning. The results of the study show that the use of ICT makes a major contribution to increasing the effectiveness of learning, encouraging creativity, independence, and critical thinking skills of students. Various technology-based learning models have been proven to enrich teaching methods and expand access to information. However, on the other hand, challenges such as inequality in digital access, misuse of technology, and threats to moral and social values ​​are also impacts that need to be anticipated. Therefore, the use of ICT in education must be carried out wisely, structured, and accompanied by increasing digital competence for educators in order to support the improvement of the quality of education as a whole in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the history and planning of learning in improving teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Modern Islamic Boarding School, Batang Quiz District.As for the research method used, this type of research is qualitative research, namely field research, with the aim of explaining the phenomenon as deeply as possible through collecting data as deeply as possible. Methods of data collection techniques by way of observation, interviews and document studies, data sources, data analysis and scrutinizing the validity of the data refers to qualitative research.The final results of this study indicate that 1) Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Modern Mawaridussalam is a Madrasa that has only been established since 2008, around 14 years old. From 2010 to 2022 the Head of Madrasah Aliyah Aliyah Private Mawaridussalam has been occupied by two people, namely: 1) Nurrokhman, SH., MM, period 2010-2015, and 2) Arief Persada Lift, S.Pd.I., MM, period 2016 – present. 2) Planning of learning activities in improving teacher performance in the Deli Serdang district Private Madrasah Aliyah, namely the Mawaridussalam Private Madrasah Aliyah is carried out by involving teachers to compile all of these programs, while the planning programs are, a) Learning implementation plans, b) Plans for learning approaches and methods , c) Planning for learning tools or media, d) Planning for learning evaluation, e) Planning for preparing a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), f) Planning for hiring teachers/teachers, and g) Planning for teacher development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development management of madrasah aliyah plus skills in increasing competitiveness in the era of society 5.0. This research is a multisite study on MAN plus Skills in Langkat District. This research uses a qualitative approach with a multi-site study type. The results of the study show that (1) the planning of the Langkat District Plus Skills Aliyah Aliyah in Increasing Competitiveness in the Society 5.0 Era by providing skills programs as a form of additional cross-interest learning at the Plus Skills Madrasah Aliyah. 6 (six) hours per week. (3) Model for the Development of Langkat District Madrasah Aliyah Plus Skills in Increasing Competitiveness in the Era of Society 5.0, that Langkat 1 State Madrasah Aliyah Plus Skills provides students with 3 (three) types of Skills such as 1) Automotive Engineering, 2) Computer and Network Engineering , and 3) Fashion Design, then Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Langkat Plus Skills also equips students with 3 (three) types of Skills such as: 1) Computer and Network Engineering, 2) Multi Media, 3) Graphic Design.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1). To analyze the effectiveness of the development of cash waqf materials in MAN 1 Medan city, 2). To analyze the design of the cash waqf learning module at MAN 1 Medan city, 3). To implement cash waqf in MAN 1 Medan city based on the Islamic Religious Education learning module. The research method used is Research And Development (R&D). The results of this study are that researchers create product types of cash waqf modules and E-Mobile-based waqf applications that are named E-Cash Waqf which can be downloaded on Playstore. First, research on the development of cash waqf materials through modules at MAN 1 Medan City is very effective. Second, the design of teaching materials for cash waqf material through validation results averaged 87.18%, in terms of presentation an average of 97.91%, language aspects averaged 75% and design validation averaged 82.29% and IT validation with an average of 93.11%. Third, the implementation of cash waqf materials based on modules developed based on e-mobile found results starting from the pre-test of 77.84% while the results of the post-test were 91.23%. From the studies conducted, it can be recommended that innovation through e-modules that are developed greatly influence the learning outcomes of students. They also find a novelty about cash waqf material in the form of applications available on PlayStore.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the evaluation of post-certification teacher competency improvement policies at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Medan City. This research method is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological research approach. Collecting data using the method of observation, interviews, study documentation. The results of this study, namely (1) the policy context, such as competency training, educational qualifications, MGMP empowerment workshops and implementation of supervision. (2) Input, namely trying to become an institution that can help teachers sent by madrasas so that they have more ability in the 2013 Curriculum-based learning process. assignments in accordance with the demands of graduate competence, content, learning process, and 2013 curriculum assessment. (4) The product of the policy explains that the result is that the teacher has the ability to prepare syllabus, lesson plans, worksheets, teaching materials/materials, the media used in delivering material and the ability to compile an instrument for assessing student learning outcomes based on the 2013 Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of students' spiritual intelligence values in MAN throughout Medan City. This research method is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological research approach. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study consist of 3 components, namely 1) Students' spiritual intelligence includes the form of noble character, patience, sincerity to do everything and can solve all the problems that exist in their lives. The spiritual intelligence program for students at MAN throughout Medan City has the aim of assisting students in understanding and developing spiritual aspects, internalizing spiritual values, bringing students closer to religious teachings, and forming better personalities; 2) The values of spiritual intelligence depart from the principles through understanding and performing prayers well, one can develop spiritual awareness and experience closeness to Allah. Teachers emphasize the importance of building self-confidence, ethics, morals, morals, spiritual awareness, responsibility and fear of Allah SWT; 3) Implementation of students' spiritual intelligence values through efforts to internalize these values in positive actions and attitudes. This change was more visible in students majoring in religion, while the changes in students from other majors were minimal (low).
