Abstract

This article explains the role of Islamic religious education teachers to improve students' ability to read the Quran. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of PAI learning on improving the ability to read the Quran in grade IX students at SMPN 1 Jombang. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive type with a case study method. The main data sources in this study are Islamic religious education teachers and students. Data collection techniques use interviews and observation. The results showed a significant increase in the ability to read the Quran in students, this is inseparable from the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in designing relevant learning, namely using learning strategies that are directly related to the Quran which includes choosing verses that are in accordance with the learning material, ensure the text of the Quran is studied according to the student's level of understanding, and create relevant connections between the teaching material and its application in everyday life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMP Negeri 22 Kota Surabaya. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode field research, melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan guru PAI untuk memahami pengalaman dan tantangan dalam menerapkan teknologi berbasis AI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa AI berpotensi besar meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas pembelajaran dengan menyediakan perangkat ajar yang adaptif dan sesuai kebutuhan siswa, termasuk modul ajar, bahan ajar, serta media interaktif. Namun, penerapan AI masih menghadapi tantangan, terutama keterbatasan literasi digital guru. Untuk mengatasi kendala ini, penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan terstruktur bagi guru serta pembentukan komunitas pendukung untuk berbagi pengetahuan terkait implementasi AI. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi AI dalam PAI dapat berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di era digital.

Abstract

The primary focus of this research is the imbalance between spiritual and material aspects in education, the impact of technology on Islamic education, and the challenges posed by anti-Islam ideologies in the digital era. The purpose of this study is to revitalize Buya Hamka's ideas on Islamic education, which can be applied to address contemporary issues. The research findings indicate that Buya Hamka's thoughts, particularly on independent thinking and the balance between intellectual, emotional, and spiritual aspects, remain relevant in shaping a morally upright younger generation capable of facing the challenges of the digital age. The study employs a library research method as its data source.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using True False Game media as a transformation tool in learning Islamic Religion in the digital era. The method used is library research by collecting data from various related literature sources. The results showed that True False Game can increase students' understanding and interest in learning in Islamic Religion subjects. This media allows interactive and fun learning, and encourages collaboration between students. The use of information and communication technology in the True False Game facilitates access to learning, allows direct evaluation, and supports the implementation of distance learning. Although effective, there are limitations relating to the dependence on technological infrastructure, which can hinder learning in the event of technical disruptions. The implication of this study is that the True False Game has great potential to be applied in learning Islamic Religion in the digital era, with adequate technological support and variations of other learning methods to ensure more comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational games in Islamic Education (PAI) learning in the digital era to improve students' understanding at SMPN 1 Krian. The use of educational games such as Kahoot! and Quizizz was chosen to create an interactive and enjoyable learning experience, focusing on increasing student engagement and strengthening understanding of PAI concepts such as fiqh, aqidah, and morality. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive approach, where data were collected through observations, interviews with teachers and students. The results show that the use of educational games in PAI learning successfully increased students' learning motivation, deepened their understanding of the material taught, and created a more dynamic learning atmosphere. Instant feedback provided through educational game platforms helped students quickly correct their mistakes and enhanced active participation in class. Thus, the implementation of educational games has proven effective in supporting PAI learning at SMPN 1 Krian and is relevant to technological developments in the digital era.

Abstract

Education not only aims to develop academic skills, but also to shape the character and spirituality of learners. In the context of Islamic education, guidance and counseling are important components that support the holistic development of learners, including intellectual, spiritual, and moral aspects. This article analyzes the concept of guidance and counseling based on the principles of Islamic education, focusing on individual, group, thematic, and problem-based approaches. This research uses a literature study method with content analysis to explore the principles and practices of Islamic guidance. The results show the importance of integrating Islamic values into the curriculum, continuous counselor training, and cooperation between counselors, teachers and parents. Despite facing challenges such as limited resources and changing social dynamics, this approach remains relevant to help learners develop their potential optimally in various aspects of life. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengaktualisasikan nilai-nilai akhlakul karimah peserta didik melalui pembiasaan salat dhuha berjamaah di SMP Negeri 26 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk memahami pengalaman dan persepsi individu terkait fenomena yang diteliti. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan salat dhuha berjamaah di SMP Negeri 26 Surabaya efektif dalam mengaktualisasikan nilai-nilai akhlakul karimah seperti kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, ketakwaan, ketawadhuan, keimanan, dan kebersamaan. Proses ini diawasi dan dibimbing oleh guru, serta didukung oleh orang tua, sehingga peserta didik tidak hanya disiplin dalam beribadah di sekolah tetapi juga di rumah dan lingkungan masyarakat. Kesimpulannya, program pembiasaan salat dhuha berjamaah di SMP Negeri 26 Surabaya berhasil meningkatkan akhlak peserta didik meskipun masih terdapat beberapa hambatan. Dengan dukungan yang konsisten dari guru dan orang tua, nilai-nilai akhlakul karimah dapat terinternalisasi dengan baik dalam diri peserta didik.

Abstract

In the world of education, the role of teacher personality competence in the formation of generation Z character is closely related. This article analyzes the role of teacher personality competence in the character building of Generation Z, especially in facing the impact of rapid technological development. This study uses library research methods by collecting data from various academic sources, such as journals, books, scientific articles, and previous research reports. The results show that teachers' personal competence has a very important influence in shaping the characteristics of generation Z, which include characteristics such as figital, hyper-customization, realism, pragmatic, FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), DIY (Do It Yourself), and weconomist. The research also identified several challenges faced by teachers, such as students' divided attention, changes in learning methods, moral degradation, and lack of literacy. To overcome this, several strategies were proposed, such as the role of the teacher as a facilitator, integrating character education, developing soft skills, implementing project-based learning (PBL), and encouraging active student collaboration. This research is expected to provide new insights for educators in overcoming the challenges of generation Z character building.

Abstract

This paper explores community-based marital education practices implemented by Sekolah Rekonsiliasi (Reconciliation School) an initiative developed to help individuals heal emotional wounds stemming from dysfunctional families. The study employs a qualitative case study approach involving interviews, observations, and documentation. The therapeutic methods adopted from John Bradshaw and Virginia Satir are used in the program. Analysis was conducted through thematic coding and triangulation to validate the findings. The results indicate positive changes in the participants' interpersonal relationships and self-perception after completing the program. These findings demonstrate the potential of community-based marriage education in strengthening the Indonesian family system, especially amidst increasing divorce rates, which currently range between 15 - 20 percent.

Abstract

Educational supervision is one of the crucial approaches in improving the quality of learning and the professionalism of educators. Supervision not only functions as a form of supervision but also includes coaching, mentoring, and providing professional support for educators. This article aims to examine the concept of educational supervision as a whole, including the definition, function, role of supervisors, effective supervision strategies, and its advantages and disadvantages. This research uses a literature study method with a content analysis and descriptive approach to various relevant literature sources. The results of the study indicate that supervision carried out with the right strategy, such as a collaborative, reflective, data-based approach, and effective communication is able to encourage continuous improvement in the quality of learning and educator competence. However, educational supervision also faces various challenges, such as limited supervisor capabilities, inappropriate approaches, and excessive focus on administrative aspects. Therefore, the implementation of appropriate and systematic supervision is needed to create a conducive learning environment and support the professional development of educators.
