Abstract

The development of computer technology provides an opportunity for educators to innovate in the development of digital teaching materials. This development research aims to: 1) develop magnetic field teaching materials based on the Google sites assisted learning cycle model for grade XII students of Madrasah Aliyah, 2) investigate the feasibility of magnetic field teaching materials developed, 3) investigate improvements in student learning outcomes by using teaching materials developed, 4) investigating student responses to the use of teaching materials developed in physics learning. This development research refers to the 5 stages of the ADDIE development design which includes the analyze, design, develop, implementation, and evaluation  stages. The validation of teaching material products involves material experts, media experts and language experts, each of which consists of 3 validators. The teaching material product was implemented by involving 20 students grade XII at one of the Madrasah Aliyah in the City of Tidore Kepulauan. Data collection techniques used in this study were validation sheets, test instruments in the form of multiple choice questions and questionnaires. The results showed that teaching material products based on the Google sites assisted learning cycle model were declared feasible for use in learning. Student learning outcomes have increased after participating in learning. Students also gave very good responses to the use of teaching materials developed in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsika hasil pengembangan produk e-book berbasis problem based learning materi lapisan bumi dan ancaman bencana alam untuk pembelajaran IPA di SMP serta menelusuri dampaknya terhadap peningkatan literasi digital siswa khususnya pada aspek kompetensi informasi untuk indikator menemukan informasi. Validasi produk e-book interaktif dilakukan dengan melibatkan 3 ahli media, 3 ahli materi dan 3 ahli bahasa. Implementasi produk e-book interaktif telah melibatkan 15 siswa pada salah satu SMP di Kabupaten Halmahera Barat. Data validasi produk e-book interaktif dikumpulkan melalui instrumen lembar validasi, sedangkan data literasi digital dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen dalam bentuk tes pilihan ganda melalui google forms yang dintegrasikan dalam produk e-book interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk e-book interaktif yang dihasilkan dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, keterampilan siswa dalam menemukan informasi dikategorikan cukup. Pengembangan e-book interaktif yang memperhatikan kelayakan penggunaan menjadi hal yang penting dalam menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to streamline the PjBL model physics e-module assisted by Google Sites which is suitable for use for physics learning and determine the effectiveness of the PjBL model physics e-module assisted by Google Sites. Google Sites is a service owned by the Google site that facilitates its users so they can have a website easily and practically. Using Google Sites for students will make it easier for students to access teaching materials and will not need to use up smartphone memory capacity. With this convenience, lecture material can be in the form of learning links that students can access. Apart from that, students can access it anywhere and at any time so that it can be used to study independently according to lecture needs. This research is Research and Development research with a 4D model which includes 4 stages, namely the define, design, develop and disseminate stages. The results of the research show that the PjBL model e-module assisted by Google Sites in learning the history of physics is effectively used in learning to increase student learning independence.

Abstract

The Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah (KIP-K) is a scholarship program provided by the government for high school graduates who excel academically but are economically disadvantaged and unable to continue their studies at university. The KIP-K program aims to increase opportunities for students to pursue higher education by providing monthly living expenses and tuition fees for students who meet the eligibility criteria. Through KIP-K, it is expected to create a competitive and well-educated generation of future leaders. In North Maluku Province, particularly in Malifut, North Halmahera Regency, many students still lack information about the KIP-K scholarship. Therefore, this community service activity aimed to provide insights into the importance of pursuing education at the university level and how underprivileged students can apply for the KIP-K scholarship. This activity was carried out at SMAN 4 Halmahera Utara and SMKN 2 Halmahera Utara. As a result of this socialization, students successfully created their own accounts and registered for the KIP-K scholarship. It is hoped that through this program, students will take advantage of higher education opportunities through KIP-K and be able to continue their studies and achieve their goals.

Abstract

Sistem Kredit Semester (SKS) di SMA Negeri 8 Kota Ternate mulai diterapkan sejak tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Sistem pembelajaran ini hadir sebagai pengganti dari program akselerasi dimana program akselerasi ini dimaksudkan untuk memfasilitasi peserta didik yang memiliki bakat, kemampuan dan kecerdasan di atas rata-rata. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis impelementasi Sistem Kredit Semester di SMA Negeri 8 Kota Ternate. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa, guru dan kepala sekolah. Teknik analisis data dalama penelitian ini dengan analisis interaktif model Miles dan Huberman yang dilakukan melalui 3 tahap diantaranya reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan proses pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan prinsip pembelajaran yang diatur pemerintah. Implementasi program SKS di SMA Negeri 8 Kota Ternate didukung oleh komunikasi, komitmen, sumberdaya yang mencukupi, dan struktur birokrasi yang menunjang.

Abstract

Indonesia, located at the confluence of three major tectonic plates, this situation allows Indonesia to always be under threat of geological disasters. Ternate Island with Mount Gamalama, located in the western part of Halmahera Island, is also a threat of geological disasters. SMP Negeri 13 Kota Ternate, located in a high-risk area of earthquake and volcanic eruption, became the location of the Disaster Preparedness School (SSB) implementation. This activity aims to implement the concept of Disaster Preparedness School to reduce disaster risks and impacts through a comprehensive approach. The research method used a participatory approach with activities including disaster socialization, rescue simulations, science projects to make simple earthquake detection devices, installation of disaster signs, and lectures from the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD). SSB implementation was carried out through three stages: organizing, interpreting, and applying. The results of the activities show a high level of school resilience with six supporting aspects, but there are still obstacles such as student turnover and limited funds. SSB activities contribute significantly in increasing the awareness and preparedness of school community in facing disasters. It can be concluded that the implementation of SSB in SMP Negeri 13 Ternate City successfully integrated disaster mitigation in the curriculum and school activities. The main recommendation is to increase socialization, implement routine simulations, and develop the resilience aspects of the school in a comprehensive manner.

Abstract

Innovation in learning material presentation is crucial for enhancing student engagement. This research aims to develop a physics history e-module based on the Project-based Learning (PjBL) model integrated with Google Sites and to analyze its validity and practicality as a learning resource. The research followed the ADDIE model. Validation was conducted through expert review, while a limited trial involving students assessed its practicality. Revisions were made based on evaluation results to refine the module. The findings indicated that the developed e-module was highly feasible, with a validity score of 92% and a positive student response rate of 85%. The study concludes that the e-module effectively enhances students’ understanding of physics history and can be integrated into modern learning to foster engagement. This research implies the development of Google Sites-based PjBL e-modules to improve student engagement and understanding.
