Abstract

How to feed babies is to exclusively breastfeeding from birth until the baby is six months old and continue breastfeeding the child until the age of twenty-four months. The success of breastfeeding also needs to be prepared early starting from antenatal, such as mothers are prepared physically and psychologically, provide support, and various counseling about breastfeeding. The purpose of this activity is to be able to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about giving exclusive breastfeeding. The implementation method is to provide helath education on breastfeeding in pregnant womens and families of 15 pregnant womens at A'isyiyah General Hospital, Ponorogo. The implementation of the activity consists of several stages, including the stage before providing education by taking pre-test data and the next stage is providing education about preparing for breastfeeding to pregnant womens filling out a post-test questionnaire to find out whether there is an impact on the knowledge of pregnant women after being given education. The results of the activity explain that some of the knowledge possessed by pregnant women who are the objects of this activity when before being given education, namely most of them have good knowledge. After being given education, almost all pregnant women, namely by experiencing an increase in the value of their level of knowledge. This shows that providing education in this activity can increase the knowledge of pregnant womens about breastfeeding.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a moment that is highly desired by husband and wife. This can make the family more harmonious because it has a child who is always coveted. But in reality, sometimes pregnancy is accompanied by several obstacles, such as premature rupture of membranes. The purpose of this study is to analyzethe effect of economic status, fetal position and family support on the incidence of premature rupture of membranes in inpartu patients at the Pragaan Health Center, Sumenep Regency. The design of this research is an observational quantitative research with a cross sectional approach with the focus of the research being directed at analyzingthe effect of economic status, fetal position and family support on the incidence of premature rupture of membranes in inpartu patients at the Pragaan Health Center, Sumenep Regency. The total population of 160 respondents and a sample of 100 respondents were taken by Accidental Sampling technique. The findings show that almost half of the respondents haveeconomic status middle class category as many as 42 respondents (42%).Almost half of the respondents experienced an anterior fetal position as many as 39 respondents (39%). Most of the respondents have family support in the less category as many as 62 respondents (62%). Most of the respondents experienced premature rupture of membranes as many as 56 respondents (56%). Based on the results of the Logistics Regression analysis shows that the p-value <0.05 then H1 is accepted so it is concluded that there is an effect of economic status, fetal position and family support for the incidence of premature rupture of membranes in inpartu patients at the Pragaan Health Center, Sumenep Regency. It is hoped that both pregnant women can manage the needs and things that must be done during pregnancy until delivery, starting from maintaining a lifestyle and even monitoring the development of the fetus in order to reduce the incidence of KTD.

Abstract

Menstruation can be a scary experience. Adequate preparation before menarche have a significant impact on girls' early experience of menarche. How does a mother communicating with her daughter about menarche and menstrual problems may affect future experience the girl. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the mother's interpersonal communication factors on the child's readiness to come of menarche at MI Ma'arif Polorejo. This research design uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The sampling technique used was snowball sampling. The informants used are the mothers of students who have not experienced menarche. The results of the study using in-depth interviews with 9 informants showed that interpersonal communication between mothers and children was still lacking, this was due to the lack of knowledge from mothers and the intensity of communication between mothers and children which could not be done intensively, so there are students who are prepared for menarche, and students are not prepared for menarche. Constraints expressed by the informant informant because knowledge is limited, and the child has not experienced menarche, so that the informants had not been able to provide detailed information.

Abstract

Elderly is said to be the final stage of development in the human life cycle including biological, psychological and social, these changes will automatically affect the lives of the elderly, especially regarding the problems of self-esteem and happiness of the elderly. The purpose of this study was to analysis of cognitive therapy on increased self-esteem and elderly happiness in the elderly cottage of the Al-Ishlah foundation Malang. The design of this research is Quasy-Experimental with Time Series Design method. The population is elderly with impaired self-esteem and happiness. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique with inclusion and exclusion criteria and obtained a sample of 20 people. The variables measured in this study were self-esteem and happiness. The statistical test used was the Wilcoxon test with a 95% confidence level. The results of the pretest measurement showed that most of the respondents experienced low self-esteem 12 (60%) and moderate happiness 13 respondents (65%), and the posttest measurement results showed that almost all respondents had high self-esteem and high happiness 18 respondents (90%). The results of statistical analysis showed that there was a significant increase in self-esteem and happiness with a total value of p = 0.001. Seeing the results of this study, cognitive therapy which aims to change negative thoughts into positive thoughts, which is proven to increase self-esteem and happiness, the working system is that negative thoughts are rationalized and converted into rational positive thoughts by carrying out positive behaviors or activities and socialize with individuals around and the environment. With lots of positive activities will eliminate negative thoughts.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Perilaku makan yang kurang sehat pada anak usia sekolah akan berdampak pada meningkatnya risiko penyakit tidak menular di masa mendatang. Rendahnya asupan buah dan sayur serta tingginya konsumsi jajanan kurang bergizi menunjukkan perlunya intervensi edukasi yang kontekstual dan menarik bagi siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan minat makan sehat siswa melalui media pembelajaran “Ular Tangguh” yang mengintegrasikan nilai budaya Huma Betang. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan Community-Based Participatory Action dengan melibatkan guru dan siswa secara aktif pada tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, refleksi, dan evaluasi. Permainan “Ular Tangguh” merupakan modifikasi permainan ular tangga yang diperkaya dengan pesan gizi seimbang serta nilai budaya Huma Betang seperti kebersamaan, gotong royong, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan gizi, sikap positif, dan minat siswa dalam memilih makanan sehat berdasarkan perbandingan skor pre-test dan post-test. Selain itu, program ini memberikan alternatif media pembelajaran bagi guru dan sekolah dalam memperkuat pendidikan gizi berbasis budaya lokal. Dengan demikian, Ular Tangguh efektif sebagai model edukasi gizi yang interaktif, menyenangkan, dan berkelanjutan serta berpotensi untuk direplikasi di sekolah dasar lainnya.   Kata kunci: Edukasi Gizi, Permainan Interaktif, Huma Betang, Makan Sehat, Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Background: Stunting increases the global public health burden by contributing 45% of all under-five deaths. Children who experience stunting as a result of someone not getting the right amount of nutritional intake for a long period of time (chronic). Thus, stunting can actually be prevented with adequate nutritional intake, especially in the First 1000 Days of Life. The target set by the government through the 2020-2024 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) is to reduce the percentage of stunting by 14%. Stunting prevention is more effective in the prenatal period where 80% before stunting occurs, When compared to chasing from stunting to non-stunting, the success is only 20%. Purpose: This study aims to analyze stunting prevention with enviroinmental and nutrition in the prenatal period. Methods: The method used in this study is to use a literature study with a search method, combine the results of research and analyze facts from several scientific sources that are accurate and valid. Results: The results showed that 69% of households defecated in open areas. hazard defecation behavior can cause environmental pollution due to the spread of pathogenic germs from the anus. The kinds of nutritions better consumted by prenatal are Moringa leaves, The Tubaramure Food, iron folic acids (IFA), lipid based nutritional supplements (LNS). Conclusion: The meal preparation, amount of food, energy intake, and protein intake to prevent stunting. We noted there are many kinds of nutrition and supplements such as food from Moringa leaves, Moringa leaf extract supplementation, Moringa powder, and  blood-added tablets, IFA, iron and folic acid supplements (IFA), iron supplements, folic acid (IFA), and lipid supplements given to pregnant women can significantly prevent stunting in children. Continuous education and monthly monitoring of pregnant women diet during pregnancy classes at  the  Posyandu are  suggested to  prevent stunting in children.

Abstract

Background: Adolescent mental health is important in determining the quality of the nation. Early detection of mental health in adolescents is very necessary to provide knowledge and understanding and attention, to avoid and overcome the occurrence of disorders in the subsequent adolescent growth and development. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the ability of early detection of mental health in adolescents with the provision of health education using audio visual. Methods: The design of this study is pre-experimental quantitative research with a one-group pre-post test design approach with the focus of the research directed at analyzing the effect of providing health education using audio-visual methods on the ability to early detection of mental health in adolescents at SMK Pawyatan Daha 1 Kediri. The total population was 394 respondents and a sample of 199 respondents were taken using the Stratifiet Random Sampling technique. Results: The findings found that before being given treatment, most respondents were less able to carry out early detection of mental health as many as 171 respondents (85.93%). After being given treatment, most respondents were able to carry out early detection of mental health as many as 158 respondents (79.40%). Based on the results of Wilcoxon's analysis, it was shown that the p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted so it was concluded that there was an influence of providing health education using audio-visual methods on the ability to early detection of mental health in adolescents at SMK Pawyatan Daha 1 Kediri. Conclusion: It is hoped that adolescents, especially students at SMK Pawyatan Daha 1 Kediri, can carry out early detection of mental health both to themselves and to others, which can reduce the risk of increased mental disorders or pressures experienced by adolescents.

Abstract

Background: The use of social media can have a good as well as a bad influence. Its bad influence, there is empirical evidence to suggest that compulsive use of social media can have an effect on a person's self-concept, especially among adolescent smartphone users. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of social media addiction on the self-concept of adolescents in Kepanjen Kidul village. This study used a correlation analysis design with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study was adolescents in kepanjen kidul village who were indicated to have social media addiction of 34 people. Methods: The sampling technique in this study used simple random sampling, while the instruments used were questionnaire sheets, and statistical tests using spearmans rank.  Results: The results of each variable were obtained by respondents who experienced a moderate level of social addiction as many as 16 respondents (47.1%) respondents who had a negative self-concept as many as 21 respondents (61.8%) The results of the spearmans rank  statistical test obtained a cophysific value of 0.486 and p-value  by 0.004 < 0.05, it can be concluded that there is an influence of social media addiction on the self-concept of adolescents in the village of kepajen kidul. Conclusion: It can be concluded that a strong relationship with a positive direction the higher the Addiction to Social Media has an impact on the higher the Negative Self-Concept experienced.

Abstract

Tingginya angka kematian ibu (AKI) di Indonesia masih menjadi tantangan utama dalam sektor kesehatan, salah satunya disebabkan oleh rendahnya cakupan kunjungan K6 antenatal care (ANC). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pencapaian kunjungan K6 pada ibu hamil di Puskesmas Sumberpucung, Kabupaten Malang. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kombinasi kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan alat analisis seperti diagram Fishbone, metode USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth), dan SWOT. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kurangnya pengetahuan ibu hamil, keterbatasan akses, serta rendahnya dukungan keluarga merupakan faktor utama yang menghambat pencapaian kunjungan K6. Intervensi berupa edukasi melalui media sosial dan pelatihan tenaga kesehatan terbukti meningkatkan cakupan, meskipun belum mencapai target maksimal. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan terpadu dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan akses ibu hamil terhadap layanan ANC, serta perlunya kolaborasi antara tenaga kesehatan, keluarga, dan komunitas untuk mendukung pencapaian kunjungan K6 yang optimal.

Abstract

Kader kesehatan memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung integrasi layanan kesehatan primer di tingkat desa. Namun, rendahnya kapasitas kader dalam penguasaan kompetensi dasar menjadi kendala utama dalam optimalisasi layanan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kader kesehatan di Desa Ternyang, Kecamatan Sumberpucung, Kabupaten Malang, melalui pelatihan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan kader. Metode penelitian meliputi analisis penyebab masalah dengan diagram fishbone, penentuan prioritas dengan USG, serta analisis strategi SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya pengetahuan kader merupakan isu mendesak yang memerlukan pelatihan intensif. Kesimpulannya, peningkatan kapasitas kader melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan dan strategi kolaboratif dapat mendukung transformasi layanan primer yang efektif di tingkat desa, serta memperkuat peran kader dalam kegiatan promotif, preventif, dan deteksi dini masalah kesehatan masyarakat.
