Abstract

This research aims to develop an Arduino-based fan with a motion sensor that can detect the presence of people around it. Fans are often used to provide thermal comfort, but fans often work continuously without considering the presence of people in the room, resulting in wasted energy. In this research, an occupancy sensor is used to detect the presence of a person near the fan, and Arduino controls the fan speed based on this data. Experimental methods are used to test system performance that optimizes energy consumption and provides comfort to users. The research results show that an Arduino-based fan with an occupancy sensor can significantly reduce energy consumption and improve user experience by providing a fan that operates automatically based on demand. This research has the potential to reduce environmental impacts and energy costs while providing a solution for using fans that are more efficient and comfortable.

Abstract

The extreme temperatures that occur in Indonesia mean that we must always maintain room temperature which has an effect on body temperature. A room temperature that is too high will cause the body to release a lot of fluids which can result in dehydration, while a body temperature that is too low can make it difficult for the body to move and make the body stiff. Therefore, in this study the aim is to create an automatic room temperature accompanied by humidity. The room is equipped with an Arduino which functions like a thermometer. In this practicum, it is about temperature and humidity instrumentation using the DH11 sensor. The components used are the DHT11 sensor, Arduino Uno, jumper cables and others. Data taken during the practicum this is 3 pieces of data. This test also produces output, namely DHT 11 and a laptop to display the output results via the Arduino module. Sensor output is displayed in real time. To display the temperature in this Arduino sketch, you can open it in the Arduino IDE application.

Abstract

In the rapidly developing digital era, the Internet of Things (IoT) and the popularity of smartphone control applications have opened the door to innovation in the development of automation and device control systems. This research project aims to design and develop a smart lamp that can be operated using an Arduino-based smartphone device. The combination of advances in IoT and rapidly growing demand for remote control solutions makes this project relevant and interesting. These smart lights will allow users to control their home lighting via a smartphone app, creating great flexibility and potential energy savings. In addition, this project will enable the development of skills in the fields of programming, electronics, and design, as well as contributing to the open-source community by sharing the design and source code of this project. This project will outline the development of smart lighting that focuses on energy efficiency and stronger integration with smartphone technology, which has potential impact in daily life and applications in various industrial sectors.

Abstract

Every business, but particularly those in the industrial sector, have what is known as inventory. In order for the business to survive and carry on with production, inventory is crucial. Inventory control makes sure that products and resources don't run out of stock or become overstocked, which could lead to higher inventory costs and a halt in production. A business engaged in manufacturing is called PT. X. Hinge Upper Assy is one of the products that PT. X manufactures. Overproduction of raw materials caused issues for the hinge upper assembly material during the process, raising the overall cost of inventory. The EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) approach is one inventory control technique that determines overall inventory costs. The EOQ approach takes into account the frequency of orders, the amount of orders per order, safety stock, and reorder points in addition to inventory costs. The purpose of this study was to determine the overall cost of inventory at PT. X using the EOQ approach, as well as the frequency and quantity of orders, safety stock value, and reorder points. The study's findings indicate that the overall cost of inventory with EOQ is IDR 2,500,752.00, with a frequency of orders placed twice and a quantity per order of 20167 pieces, safety stock of 3242.28, and a reorder point of 3257 pieces. When comparing the EOQ approach to the company's traditional method, there was a 63% savings in total inventory expenses.

Abstract

Peningkatan Performa produksi harus dilakukan oleh perusahaan sebagai bagian dari memenangkan persaingan. kondisi mesin spot welding yang saat ini dimiliki perusahaan sering mengalami breakdown, yang kemudian mempengaruhi produktivitas mesin. untuk itu perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai kondisi tersebut. Metoda yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Overall Equipment Effectiveness dan Six Big Losses. Tahap awal dalam penelitian ini adalah mencari nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness, selanjutnya melakukan identifikasi Six Big Losses. Dari hasil analisis dan  pengolahan data menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness dan Six Big Losses didapatkan nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness pada Mesin Las Titik Tipe X sebesar 70,861% , kondisi ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor Six Big Losses yaitu Produk yang rusak and Perbaikan produk yang rusak tersebut, Untuk itu perlu dilakukan peningkatan pada kinerja maintenance Mesin Las Titik Tipe X.  Kata kunci— Kemampuan mesin, mesin las tipe x spot, OEE, Six Big Losses

Abstract

Perusahaan jasa pengkalibrasian alat-alat industri yang berlokasi didaerah Bekasi mengalami sebuah permasalahan, dimana terdapat beberapa complain dari customer dikarenakan terdapat delay dalam pengerjaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan pembagian penugasan manpower secara merata antara laboratorium dan onsite, dimana dilakukan pegnklasifikasian dengan menggunakan Naive Bayes. Berdasarkan analisa klasifikasi aktual persentase pembagian manpowernya yaitu 51% untuk penempatan laboratorium dan 49% untuk pengerjaan onsite tanpa melihat dari persentase kompetensi personilnya. Setelah dilakukan rearrangement dengan menggunakan Naive Bayes dan Rapidminer, hasil pembagiannya berubah menjadi 56% untuk laboratorium dan 44% untuk onsite dimana diklasifikasi ulang berdasarkan nilai persentase kompetensi personilnya. Untuk personil dengan kompetensi diatas 82% diutamakan untuk melakukan kegiatan onsite. Dampak yang dihasilkan setelah adanya rearrangement ini yaitu terjadi perubahan dalam pembagian tugas dan alat customer menjadi cepat terkalibrasi

Abstract

 PT. PAS is a company that produces noodles with the brand mie sedap. Based on the production data from the previous year, the noodle product activities carried out by PT. PAS, each month has not reached the target due to the time the damage occurred to the noodle slitter machine. So it is necessary to research to determine the performance of the noodle slitter machine using the OEE and FMEA methods. Based on the calculation results of the OEE value of the slitter machine is 76%, it can be concluded that the performance of the slitter machine is not ideal. Based on the analysis using FMEA, the cause of losses due to defect & rework losses is slitter syncing, and losses due to idling and minor stoppages are slitter shooting. The result of the implementation is that there is a significant increase in the OEE value after repairs to the slitter machine with an average OEE value of 91% so that the results of the improvements made by making automatic lubrication modifications can improve the performance of the slitter machine to ideal performance.Keywords— FMEA, OEE, Losses, Slitter

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi PT. XZY yaitu tinggimya presentase karyawan yang tidak masuk kerja karena sakit (musculoscletal) yang diakibatkan karena proses material handling secara manual dan menimbulkan biaya over time (lembur) karyawan. Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui biaya cost material handling yang dihitung berdasarkan biaya tenaga kerja (over time) untuk menggantikan karyawan yang sakit (musculoscletal) atau kelelahan dini dan menghasilkan desain rancangan alat bantu yaitu belt conveyor untuk industri minuman yang ergonomi dengan Software AutoCAD. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan ergonomi. Hasil penelitian yaitu kerugian secara finansial mengeluarkan biaya lembur sebesar Rp.10.302.825,00. Conveyor belt dirancang untuk berkapasitas sebesar 14,4 kg/karton dan panjang 10 m serta sudut kemiringan maksimum. Ketinggian ujung bawah ban rangka dari lantai yang menggunakan persentil ke-5 adalah 60 cm dan ujung atasnya adalah 124 cm. Elemen sabuk conveyor direncana ini meliputi sabuk, puli, roller pemalas, rangka dan dinamo penggerak motor

Abstract

Abstrak: Sampah plastik merupakan masalah sampah terbesar yang dihadapi masyarakat saat ini. Masyarakat saat ini belum banyak mengetahui mengenai pemanfaatan sampah plastik sebagai bahan baku produk yang bernilai tambah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat diawali dengan sosialisasi yang dilakukan langsung kepada warga Kp Bendungan Desa Satria Jaya Kecamatan Tambun Utara, kemudian kegiatan pembuatan tong sampah untuk memisahkan sampah berdasarkan jenisnya. Tahap kedua adalah melakukan pelatihan pembuatan batu bata kepada sepuluh perwakilan warga desa bendungan. Tahap selanjutnya adalah pendampingan dan evaluasi; dari tahap evaluasi diketahui bahwa kemampuan mitra meningkat hingga 86%, dan 100% mitra setuju bahwa pelatihan ini bermanfaat. Kemudian melalui kegiatan ini masyarakat juga diimbau untuk memanfaatkan sampah plastik sebagai bahan baku pembuatan batu bata blcok yang layak untuk dijual.Abstract: Plastic waste is the biggest waste problem facing society today. The public does not know much about plastic waste as raw material for value-added products. The community service activities began with outreach carried out directly to the residents of Kp Bendungan, Satria Jaya Village, North Tambun District, and then the activity of making rubbish bins to separate waste based on type. The second stage was to conduct brick-making training for ten representatives of dam village residents. The next step is mentoring and evaluation; from the evaluation stage, partners' abilities increased by up to 86%, and 100% of partners agreed that this training was valuable. Then, through this activity, the community is also encouraged to use plastic waste as raw material for making block bricks that are suitable for sale.

Abstract

Virus Covid – 19 merupakan kasus yang terjadi pertama kali di Kota Wuhan China yang menyerang pernafasan dengan menyerupai penyakin influenza atau flue yang menyerang paru – paru . Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan sebagai analisis pengkelasan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persebaran virus yang terjadi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode K – Means atau nilai tengah dalam perhitungan berdasarkan umur di seluruh provinsi Indonesia selama 3 tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian memperoleh persebaran yang tertinggi terbanyak berada pada kelompok umur 40 – 60 tahun pada tahun 2020 maka dapat dikatakan penurunan Covid – 19 pada tahun 2021 mengalami penurunan analisis yang dilakukan menggunakan software Rapid Minner
