Abstract

Bidang teknologi mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat, perkembangan ini menjadi tantangan tersendiri untuk penyedia layanan maupun user untuk terus bisa mengikuti teknologi. Gedung xyz merupakan sebuah perpustakaan yang memiliki visi untuk menjadi leader dari pusat ilmu dan pengetahuan berbasis teknologi informasi dalam mendukung Universitas Entrepreneur Global. Sesuai dengan visi gedung xyz, perlu adanya analisis performansi jaringan 4G LTE guna mengetahui kualitas sinyal 4G LTE untuk kelancaran penggunaannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengukur kualitas performansi jaringan 4G LTE dengan bantuan aplikasi G-NetTrack Pro dan menggunakan metode walk test. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menentukan titik pada gedung xyz yang akan dilalui selama pengukuran. Pengukuran dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali yaitu pada pagi hari, siang hari, dan sore hari dengan kondisi yang berbeda-beda. Analisis data akan berfokus pada tiga parameter yaitu RSRP, RSRQ, dan SNR sehingga dengan mengukur tiga parameter tersebut akan mengetahui kualitas jaringan 4G LTE pada objek penelitian ini. Hasil pengukuran akan dianalisis sesuai dengan KPI pada masing-masing parameter untuk mengetahui baik buruknya kualitas jaringan. Temuan dari penelitian ini akan memberikan informasi tentang kualitas jaringan 4G LTE pada gedung xyz dan dapat membantu penyedia layanan untuk bisa mengembangkan kualitas sinyal yang ada.

Abstract

Perkembangan industri manufaktur saat ini berkembang dengan sangat baik. Sehingga perusahaan-perusahaan dituntut untuk terus saling bersaing dalam berbagai bidang. Perusahaan Serambi Indonesia merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur khususnya pada bidang percetakan surat kabar. Untuk mendukung proses percetakan perlu adanya mesin yang beroperasi sebagai alat percetakan surat kabar. Mesin percetakan bekerja hampir setiap hari dalam jangka waktu tertentu. Namun perusahaan belum mengetahui mesin berjalan secara efektif atau belum. Masalah tersebut membuat perusahaan terlambat dalam melakukan perbaikan atau pemeliharaan terhadap mesin serta tidak diukurnya kinerja mesin juga mengakibatkan perbaikan atau pemeliharaan pada mesin menjadi tidak tepat sasaran dikarena kan tidak adanya indikator yang jelas terhadap mesin. Untuk menjaga efektivitas mesin diperlukan sebuah perhitungan yang dapat mengukur efektivitas kinerja dari mesin. Salah satu metode untuk mengukur efektivitas mesin adalah Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). OEE dapat menghasilkan nilai pemanfaatan waktu, kemampuan dari mesin, kemampuan mesin menghasilkan produk sesuai dengan standar serta menghasilkan nilai tingkat efektivitas mesinnya. Untuk itu, dengan pengembangan aplikasi manajemen perawatan fasilitas diharapkan dapat membantu dalam memantau serta menghitung nilai efektivitas mesin. Pada penelitian ini, metode yang diterapkan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan dan wawancara langsung dengan manajer produksi. Pada pengembangan aplikasi perawatan fasilitas, akan menggunakan metode waterfall dan pengujiannya menggunakan metode black-box testing. Penelitian ini bertujuan mampu memberikan usulan terhadap kinerja mesin serta data-data yang dikumpulkan dapat dilakukan analisis lebih lanjut. Kata Kunci: Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Manajemen Perawatan, Waterfall, Black-box testing.

The advancement of the internet impacts the flow of information circulating among internet users, which increases yearly. Telkom University has a TULT building that provides internet access services to all internet users in that building. However, the internet service in that building still needs to be improved as internet users still experience internet problems such as sudden disconnection, slow connection, and unstable connection. Therefore, bandwidth management is needed to improve the quality of internet services in the building. There are several methods to perform bandwidth management, but this study uses Simple Queue and Queue Tree methods. The selection of the Simple Queue and Queue Tree methods in this study is due to the difference in configuration between the two. Bandwidth management simulation uses 4 Mikrotik routers and six laptops as clients. The simulation is conducted for 1 hour via video streaming and online meetings with each client. During the simulation, traffic data is also captured using the Wireshark application. Then, from that Wireshark capture, Throughput, Packet Loss, Delay, and Jitter from the Simple Queue and Queue Tree methods, are analyzed. This research concludes that using the Queue Tree method is more appropriate because it has a packet loss value below 1% with the internet network characteristics of the TULT building, which has a packet loss value above 7.80%. Besides that, the working method of the Queue Tree will be beneficial when the TULT building internet network is experiencing peak traffic.

Abstract

Thus, this project is conducted todesign and develop an application called Path Apps for Box ofRamadhan for Android device user to solve problems of reachdestination and get related information to reduce overall timespending. Unified Modelling Language diagram used to show therelationship and interaction among all classes. The proposed systemis categories into two different interfaces as admin interface and userinterface. The application consists of few modules such as login andregistration, user list, profile, current location, route, multiplemarkers and address list and chat modules. Time management, routeplanning and inventory will be under control by user according toprogram schedule. This contribute to high efficiency of work.

Abstract

In an increasingly dynamic business world, the ability to adapt and innovate is the key to success. Flexible and efficient business models play an important role in this. Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) as an XML-based business process execution standard offers a solution to design, develop, and implement business models efficiently, effectively, and standardized. This study explores how BPEL can be used to evaluate and implement business models. It begins with a brief explanation of the concepts of business models, BPM, and BPEL. This study uses literature analysis, case studies, and conceptual model development. First, we conduct an in-depth review of the literature related to BPEL, business models, and related practices. Then, through case studies in several organizations, we evaluate the effectiveness of BPEL implementation in improving business processes and related business models. The results of the study show that the implementation of BPEL-based business models can increase the flexibility and responsiveness of organizations to market changes. These advantages are especially evident in increasing process efficiency, reducing operational costs, and improving the quality of service to customers.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi saat ini yang semakin pesat, diiringi dengan serangan siber yang semakin marak terjadi pada sektor publik atau pemerintahan. Serangan tersebut mengakibatkan sejumlah kerugian materi maupun kerusakan infrastruktur atau informasi suatu organisasi, untuk mencegah ancaman siber tersebut, dibutuhkan penjaminan kualitas untuk melindungi informasi dengan melakukan penjagaan terhadap data agar tidak mudah diakses oleh orang yang tidak berkepentingan atau informasi yang disimpan masih terjaga keaslian dan kerahasiaannya. Penjagaan serangan siber dilakukan dengan menggunakan arsitektur TISA (Trust Information Security Architecture) yang terdiri dari tahapan perlindungan data, aturan keamanan informasi, dan prosedur keamanan. Penerapan arsitektur tersebut diselaraskan dengan kriteria kualitas pada sistem untuk menjamin keamanan yang baik berdasarkan framework penjaminan keamanan yang disesuaikan dengan permasalahan keamanan yang terjadi.

Abstract

Indonesia has a predominantly tropical climate, hence Indonesia experiences limited temperature variations, but has diverse rainfall variations. The variability of rainfall is also inseparable from the impact it has on various aspects of human life and business activities. Therefore, rainfall information is an important aspect in decision making. However, of course, there are stages and methods needed to carry out the analysis process. Therefore, this study looked for the best method between C4.5 and K-Nearest Neighbors which included algorithms in data mining to classify rainfall data. Both algorithms are used to build classification models based on relevant attribute attributes. Then, testing and evaluating both models using various metrics such as Accuracy, Precision, Recall and F1-Score were carried out. In this study also applied Hyperparameter Tuning with the RandomizeSearchCV method to get the best parameters to get maximum accuracy values. The results showed good accuracy values for both algorithms, in the sense that both algorithms were able to classify rainfall based on Indonesia's climate well. Based on the accuracy values obtained with the default parameters of both algorithms, C4.5 produces a higher accuracy value of 81.42%, while K-Nearest Neighbors is only 78.10%. However, after using the best parameters resulting from the application of RandomizedSearchCV Hyperparameter Tuning, a significant change in accuracy value occurred in K-Nearest Neighbors which was found to be 83.37%, while C4.5 increased to 82.56%.

Abstract

Indonesia predominantly features a tropical climate across its entirety. With this mostly tropical climate, the country encounters minimal shifts in temperature but exhibits a wide array of rainfall variations. Rainfall patterns in Indonesia showcase significant diversity. These variations in rainfall hold substantial importance in mitigating risks linked to heavy rainfall, such as floods and landslides. Moreover, besides its role in disaster preparedness, rainfall data also holds practical value in sectors such as agriculture, transportation, and industry. By incorporating data mining classification techniques, the process of predicting rainfall in Indonesia can be greatly enhanced. In this study, daily climate data from Indonesia is harnessed, and the chosen method for classification is the random forest algorithm. This selection stems from its capability to generate accurate and consistent classification models without necessitating intricate adjustments of parameters. Furthermore, the Naïve Bayes method is also integrated due to its straightforward implementation and its capacity for simple probability modeling, which can be effectively applied across diverse classification data. The outcomes of this investigation suggest that the random forest algorithm surpasses the Naïve Bayes algorithm in terms of performance and accuracy when classifying climate datasets unique to Indonesia. The random forest algorithm attains an accuracy rate of 86.55%, whereas the Naïve Bayes algorithm lags at an accuracy rate of 36.61%. It is anticipated that these research findings can serve as a point of reference for subsequent scholarly inquiries and contribute to the ongoing monitoring of daily rainfall in Indonesia, thereby aiding in the prevention of natural disasters.

Abstract

Saat ini, jaringan internet menjadi krusial dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam proses belajar-mengajar di bidang pendidikan. Universitas Telkom baru saja membangun Telkom University Landmark Tower (TULT) namun layanan internet pada gedung tersebut masih kurang optimal karena masih ada pengguna internet yang mengalami kendala dalam performa jaringan internet, seperti koneksi terputus, kinerja lambat, dan ketidakstabilan jaringan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diperlukan optimasi jaringan, yaitu manajemen bandwidth. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Random Early Detection (RED) dan Class-Based Queueing (CBQ). Penelitian ini dilakukan secara simulasi pada ruangan Gedung TULT dengan 4 router MikroTik dan 6 client, dilakukan dengan cara mengakses meeting online dan streaming video selama 1 jam. Data traffic diambil menggunakan aplikasi Wireshark, lalu dilakukan analisis parameter Quality of Service, Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa dalam skala kecil, metode CBQ maupun RED memiliki kinerja yang sama baik, Namun setiap metode memiliki pendekatan berbeda dalam mengolah dan menjaga kinerja layanan, Dimana metode CBQ yang mengandalkan prioritas dan pembagian antar kelas Sedangkan pada metode RED lebih berfokus pada pengendalian antrian dan pemerataan alokasi bandwidth lebih adil, Dari hasil tersebut, diperlukan pertimbangan kembali mengenai faktor kebutuhan dan konteks untuk mendapatkan metode terbaik untuk diterapkan pada kondisi traffic yang nyata Kata Kunci: Manajemen Bandwidth, Random Early Detection (RED), Class-Based Queueing (CBQ), Quality of Service
