Abstract

Purpose: This study examines training management strategies to enhance employee competencies and work productivity in organizations undergoing digital transformation, focusing on identifying critical success factors and developing an integrated framework for effective skill development. Methodology/approach: A systematic literature review was conducted using the Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases (2018-2024). Using PRISMA guidelines and NVivo 12 software, 127 empirical studies on training effectiveness and competency development were analyzed via thematic content analysis. Results/findings: Five critical components determine training effectiveness: competency-based needs analysis increased training relevance by 73%; andragogy-based program design improved skill retention by 45-62%; blended learning implementation showed 38% higher engagement and 52% better knowledge application; strong leadership support achieved 67% higher training transfer rates; and comprehensive evaluation systems revealed 23-41% productivity increases within 6-12 months. Conclusions: Effective training management requires the systematic integration of precise needs analysis, evidence-based learning design, optimized delivery methods, and robust evaluation systems. Limitations: This review is Limited to English-language publications and developed countries' contexts, potentially limiting its generalizability to emerging economies and traditional industries with minimal technological integration. Contribution: This study provides an evidence-based integrated training management model for digital transformation contexts, offering practical strategies for HR practitioners and advancing the theoretical understanding of training effectiveness factors for multinational corporations.

Abstract

Purpose: This research was conducted at the National Training and Instructor Professional Certification Institute (LSP Pelatinas) using the path analysis method. Research methodology: The author collected data using a questionnaire with a population of 80 respondents from LSP Pelatinas employees. Respondent samples were taken from the entire population with a total sample of 80 employees. Previously, instrument testing was carried out and, after that, analysis requirements were tested using the normality test, linearity test and homogeneity test. The latter performs hypothetical testing with path analysis. Results: This study investigated the influence of competence, training, and motivation on employee performance at LSP Pelatinas (Indonesian National Coaching and Instructor Professional Certification Institute) using a survey method with path analysis on 80 employees. The research findings confirmed that competence, training, and motivation all have significant positive effects on employee performance, with competence emerging as the most influential factor for enhancing organizational performance and employee motivation. Conclusions: The study demonstrates that competence, training, and motivation all have significant positive effects on employee performance at LSP Pelatinas, with competence being the strongest predictor (contributing 24.2%), followed by motivation (76.4%), while these three variables collectively explain 95.7% of the variance in employee performance. Limitations: The research was constrained by limited references on similar studies within LSP Pelatinas context, restricted research scope, reliance solely on Google Forms for data collection without direct interviews, and insufficient time for comprehensive data collection and literature review. Contribution: This study provides empirical evidence for human resource management practitioners and organizational leaders in Indonesian professional certification institutions, contributing to the field of organizational behavior and performance management by demonstrating the significant relationships between competence, training, and motivation on employee performance.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing employee performance at the Religious Court of Unaaha, Class IB, in Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. Using the multiple linear regression analysis method to test hypotheses, these variables were evaluated based on feedback from 30 employees. Findings indicate that while compensation and motivation are at satisfactory levels, neither significantly influences employee performance. However, a conducive work environment has been shown to have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. The implication of these findings underscores the need for greater attention to the work environment factor to enhance employee performance. Awareness of the importance of a favorable work environment can help organizations foster a more productive and motivating atmosphere for employees. Recommendations resulting from this study include evaluating compensation policies, enhancing motivation through career development, and paying closer attention to the work environment. These recommendations can assist the Religious Court of Unaaha in improving employee performance and overall organizational effectiveness

Abstract

This community development program aims to enhance the motivation and self-confidence of inmates at Cipinang Prison in order to break the cycle of poverty and prevent them from repeating past mistakes. The program involved 30 participants, most of whom were recidivists, facing the main challenge of negative social stigma that perceives former inmates as incapable of change. The solution introduced through the training was the utilization of household waste to produce eco enzyme products. These products have proven to be economically valuable and beneficial for health, thereby improving the living standards of inmates while simultaneously creating business opportunities. The simple and low-cost production process enabled participants to acquire new skills, while training on branding and packaging provided added value and increased product competitiveness in the market. Beyond empowering inmates, this program also contributes to environmental sustainability and promotes a healthy lifestyle at an affordable cost. The transformation of waste into health-supporting products demonstrates the wise use of natural resources and fosters entrepreneurial spirit among participants. Thus, this activity serves as an initial step in empowerment, expected to improve the quality of life and open better future opportunities for inmates.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and analyze how user perceptions shape sustainable usage in Crypto apps, a group of cryptocurrency exchange platforms based in Indonesia that facilitate buying, selling, and trading various digital assets. Utilizing a quantitative-causal approach, questionnaires were distributed to 245 users of several Crypto Apps in Indonesia, such as Tokocrypto, Indodax, Pintu, Rekeningku, Triv, Koinku, Upbit Indonesia, Bitocto, Zipmex, IDEX, Pluto, and Bechipin, to gather data. This study is grounded in the technology acceptance model (TAM), which postulates that perceived usefulness and ease of use significantly influence users' attitudes and behavioral intentions toward technology adoption. By applying TAM, the research seeks to identify the key factors driving sustainable usage of Crypto apps. The collected data was analyzed using SEM-PLS to examine the hypotheses. The results indicate that perceived usefulness and ease of use positively impact consumer attitudes and intention to continue using the platform. However, consumer attitude does not directly impact continuance intention and does not serve as a mediating factor. These findings hold practical implications for Crypto apps, suggesting the need to improve service quality and application features to maintain user loyalty. Moreover, the study contributes theoretically to understanding the factors influencing users’ intentions to use cryptocurrency applications. In summary, users’ perceptions of the application's benefits and ease of use significantly shape their attitudes and intentions to continue using Crypto apps.

This study utilized a sample of 100 participants from the Shopee program. The questionnaire results provided the research data, which was analyzed using the SEM PLS method through the SmartPLS 3.0 application. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Price has a positive and substantial impact on purchase decisions. Advertising elements significantly and positively impact purchasing decisions. Acquisition decisions significantly and positively impact client satisfaction. The coefficient of determination for consumer satisfaction is 0.681. Price, advertising, and purchasing decisions constitute 68.1% of the variance in consumer satisfaction among users of the Shopee program, while other factors account for the remaining 31.9%.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of promotion and customer behavior on the decision to continue studying for a Master's degree with trust as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach with PLS-SEM analysis, the study found that customer behavior has a significant direct influence on the decision to continue studying (β=0.661, p<0.001), while promotion and customer behavior have a significant effect on the formation of trust. However, trust was not proven to mediate the relationship between the independent variables and the decision to continue studying, creating a "trust-action gap" phenomenon. The implication is that higher education institutions need to integrate customer experience management with promotional strategies that build trust, as well as develop mechanisms for converting trust into actual decisions.
