Abstract

Metaverse merupakan inovasi teknologi ruang virtual tiga dimensi yang saat ini sedang membuat penasaran banyak orang baik dari perkembangannya yang sangat pesat serta implementasinya yang mulai banyak digunakan dalam berbagai sektor kehidupan. Studi penelitian ini membahas tentang tantangan dan peluang metaverse dalam dunia pendidikan, serta bagaimana aplikasinya dalam dunia pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan data pustaka dari berbagai sumber jurnal ilmiah yang relevan dengan topik yang dibahas. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah narrative review. Pengumpulan data dirangkum dari artikel jurnal internasional, jurnal nasional terakreditasi dan non akreditasi, prosiding, tesis maupun skripsi dari tahun 2017-2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa popularitas Metaverse telah mencapai puncaknya dalam beberapa bulan terakhir dan akselerasi teknologi metaverse di dunia pendidikan sudah terlihat dengan adanya aplikasi media pembelajaran digital berbasis augmented reality maupun virtual reality. Metaverse diyakini dapat mengatasi batasan-batasan yang ada di dalam dunia pendidikan, seperti keterbatasan kapasitas kelas karena pandemi, keterbatasan jarak dan waktu untuk masuk ke kelas, dan lain-lain. Dengan konsep dunia virtual, pembelajaran secara online dapat dilakukan dengan lebih interaktif tanpa menghilangkan pengalaman belajar siswa. Metode belajar di mana saja dan kapan saja menjadi konsep menarik yang disenangi banyak generasi Z saat ini. Metaverse diprediksi akan memasuki banyak bidang kehidupan manusia dalam 10-15 tahun mendatang.Metaverse is a three-dimensional virtual space technology innovation that is currently making many people curious, both from its very rapid development and implementation, which is starting to be widely used in various sectors of life. This research study discusses the challenges and opportunities of the metaverse in the world of education, and how it is applied in the world of education. The research method used is literature study by collecting library data from various sources of scientific journals that are relevant to the topics discussed. The research design used is a narrative review. Data collection is summarized from international journal articles, accredited and non-accredited national journals, proceedings, theses and theses from 2017-2022. The results show that the popularity of Metaverse has reached its peak in recent months and the acceleration of metaverse technology in the world of education has been seen with the application of digital learning media based on augmented reality and virtual reality. Metaverse is believed to be able to overcome the limitations that exist in the world of education, such as limited class capacity due to the pandemic, limited distance and time to enter class, and others. With the concept of a virtual world, online learning can be done more interactively without losing the student learning experience. The method of learning anywhere and anytime is an interesting concept that is favored by many generation Z today. Metaverse is predicted to enter many areas of human life in the next 10-15 years.

Abstract

The results obtained from the Economic Stimulation Counseling and Training on August 26, 2021 with the number of participants who took part in the Extension and Training carried out by 50 people by complying with the health protocol standards issued by the government, before carrying out activities the training facilities were made in a distance according to the standards. wash hands and wear masks both before and after activities. In the delivery of the material presented, it was very well received by the Extension and Training Participants as much as 80%. Before carrying out the activities, interviews were conducted. Based on the interview, it was found that 17 people did not know MSMEs with a percentage of 34%. From the purpose of community service on the Al Washliyah University Labuhanbatu campus, the response was very good and brought changes to the community around the campus who took part in the Counseling and Training. After the Stimulation Counseling and Training was carried out again at the end of the elaboration of the material by the community service team which it was known that the information received by the community was very good, judging by the results of the interview, it was known that there was a good increase of 14 people with a percentage of 94% compared to before the counseling and training was carried out. . The shortcomings obtained in the Extension and Training are due to other factors, such as the different abilities of the participants, so it is necessary to carry out Counseling and Retraining to the community around the campus area in the future

Abstract

Abstrak:Pengembangan produk berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa matematika berbasis modeldiscovery learningterhadapkemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas XI di SMAN 1 Rantau Selatan merupakan tujuan utama yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini.Penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dipilih sebagai jenis penelitian yang digunakan. Sedangkan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah model 4-D yang terdiri dari define, design, develop, dan disseminate.Produk ini divalidasi oleh validator ahliyang berkompeten dibidangnya.Produk diuji cobakan kepada siswa/i kelas XI Mia 1 di SMAN 1 Rantau Selatan.Langkah berikutnya ditinjau dari keefektifan dan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dari pengembangan LKS tersebut.Instrumen yang dipakaiyaitulembar validasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur, angket respon siswa dan tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis.Sedangkan teknik analisis data yaitu analisis kevalidan, analisis keefektifan dan analisis data tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis.Berdasarkan uji cobaoleh peneliti maka didapatkan hasil keefektifan pengembangan produk yaitu sebesar 3.45 yang artinya sudah efektif jika digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar, sedangkan nilai angket respon siswa sebesar 3.45 dari skala tertinggi adalah 4. Dan peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis berada pada kriteria sedang yaitu 0,63. Berdasarkan data tersebut, produk yang dikembangkan sudah efektif dan meningkat. Kata-kata kunci:Discovery Learning, Pemahaman Konsep Matematis.

Abstract

Indonesia's education system separates vocational education from academic education. Vocational education, which was previously not a key focus for prospective students, should now be on par with academic education at both the secondary and higher education levels. However, research on Vocational Education in Indonesia is still limited, particularly articles in reliable indexed databases; therefore, research on Vocational Education in Indonesia is still readily available. This research aims to map studies in bibliometrics connected to research trends in Vocational Education in Indonesia. This study does a statistical analysis of the number of publications on "Pendidikan Vokasi" in Bahasa during the previous five years. The Dimensions database is used for the study dataset, which is processed using Bibliometrix utilizing R-Tool and displayed with Vosviewer. The bibliometric study of the "Pendidikan Vokasi" research resulted in 2500 articles crawling in journals or proceedings on the Dimensions database. A. Ambiyar, N. Jalinus, and N. Erizon. Three names are incredibly fruitful in terms of creating research in this sector. At the same time, Padang State University has the most links to the issue. According to the findings of the bibliometric investigation, the Jurnal Pendidikan Vokasi is the leading generator of publications on the topic. Bibliometric mapping of the study subject "Pendidikan Vokasi" using the VOSviewer, on the other hand, discovered that trend research exclusively mentioned schools (SMK) and learning techniques or models. During this period, there was little research on the industry.

Abstract

In modern-day Indonesia, having access to various forms of technology is regarded as crucial. This is because the IT skills gap will only grow worse if the government does not act swiftly to make technology more accessible to the general public. PISA suggests that schools may gain much more from incorporating IT into their curriculum if they did so. The goal of this research is to establish whether or not there are notable variations in the level of knowledge in information technology across the different provinces in Indonesia. Official data from the Central Statistics Agency for 2019-2021, including information on the number of adolescents and adults aged 15-59 with abilities in the field of ICT at the provincial level, is used in the clustering calculation. The K-means algorithm is one unsupervised learning technique for clustering data into collections with other instances that share similar properties. The results showed that the seventh cluster had the lowest DBI value of the three examined, coming in at -0.357. Cluster 0 has the lowest average percentage of the population with IT skills, at 29.32%. Only in Papua Province will you find this particular zero cluster.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the Budidarma Informatics Media Journal (MIB) for the 2018-2022 period using the Dimensions database. The period produced 683 publications which then became the dataset in this study. The dataset was analyzed using Bibliometrix R-package Biblioshiny, and research trends were mapped using VOSviewer visualization. The analysis results show that the collaboration index of MIB journals has a moderate value and tends to be low, although the annual growth rate of 79.08% looks very significant. The number of citations over five years only amounted to 157, so the average citation per article was 0.22. The average FCR is 0.16, which indicates a citation that is well below average. The results of testing Lotka's postulates for author productivity in this period showed a significant difference between the analysis results and the theory in Lotka's postulates. As for trends, research related to "algorithms" became the most dominant word and the center of the cluster connected to other clusters, becoming the most widely used research topic.

Abstract

This research aimed to conduct a comprehensive literature review of all papers from the beginning of time published by the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Negeri Padang and indexed in the SINTA database using bibliometrics analysis. It started with a query to the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) database. The papers from this scholarly publication may be accessed here. A total of 1094 papers from 7 journals were collected. Each paper published by the Engineering Faculty at Universitas Negeri Padang receives an average of 0.42 citations. Given the insignificance of this average, it seems likely that the publication's contribution has yet to be fully recognized and has only had a little effect on the global state of knowledge. According to the findings, Universitas Negeri Andalas researchers collaborate the most with their peers around the country. Contrast this with the declining frequency with which multinational teams work together. With 38 articles published and ten citations obtained, Ahmaddul Hadi of the Informatics Department stood out as the most productive author. Research conducted by this faculty has been widely disseminated due to its publication in the reputable academic journal Inovasi Vokasi Dan Teknologi (INVOTEK).

Abstract

Fire accidents are disasters that often occur compared to other fire disasters such as floods, landslides, earthquakes or tsunamis. Fires can occur at any time, and no one knows for sure when a fire accident will occur. The impact of a fire disaster is not only material that can disappear from human lives. The causative factors of fire disasters often occur due to human negligence and fires often occur in houses where the occupants have left them. Labuhanbatu University at night will be left by the owner and all lecturers and educational staff, only guarded by two security people with this condition, it is very dangerous when a fire occurs in one of the buildings. The purpose of this research is to focus on developing a fire detection system at Labuhanbatu University based on the Internet of Things to provide early warning of safety. The system uses three sensors, namely temperature sensor, gas sensor, and fire sensor. This research is R&D research using the ADDIE model with the following stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the fire sensor test were 90% successful, the results of the sensor test as soon as possible were 90% successful, and the results of the temperature sensor test were 90% successful. This fire detection system can minimize or minimize the occurrence of fire accidents and losses because it is based on the Internet of Things providing early information when a fire occurs to education staff and lecturers at Labuhanabtu University. Overall, this fire warning system can function properly.

Abstract

This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the RESTI Journal, a prominent publication in the field of systems engineering and information technology. The analysis aims to evaluate the journal's publication output, citation impact, and overall contribution to the field. The study utilizes data from the Dimensions database, focusing on articles published between 2018 and 2022, resulting in a dataset of 594 articles. To analyze the collected data, the study employs bibliometric and network visualization tools such as Bibliometrix and VOSviewer. The analysis reveals a notable increase in the number of publications over time, indicating a growing interest and research activity in the field. Furthermore, the distribution of author productivity deviates from Lotka's law, highlighting variations in author patterns and productivity levels. An examination of institutional affiliations reveals Telkom University as the dominant institution, making a substantial contribution to the journal. Visualizations based on author-provided titles, abstracts, and keywords highlight research trends in image recognition and classification, with a particular emphasis on utilizing Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Support Vector Machines (SVM). Overall, this study provides valuable insights into the performance and trends of the RESTI Journal. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the journal's impact and its role in advancing knowledge in systems engineering and information technology. These insights can inform researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders in the field, guiding future research directions and enhancing the scholarly impact of the RESTI Journal.
