Abstract

The Bromo-Tengger-Semeru Destination is a tourist destination managed by the Government through the Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park Office (TN-BTS), so to increase regional income and economic growth for the people of Pasuruan Regency, the Pasuruan Regency Government must develop TN-BTS supporting destinations in the sub-districts around the TN-BTS. One of the potential tourist attractions supporting the Bromo Tengger Semeru Area is the Arjuno Agrotechnopark Area which will be developed in Purwosari District and Purwodadi District. This analysis provides an overview of potential; problem; impact analysis from the socio-cultural, legal, environmental, and economic perspectives; area management plans with integrated routes, integrated tourism plans and tourism development strategies. The research in this activity is of an applied research nature, namely with the desire to answer or find solutions to solving problems related to policies so that the resulting solutions can be implemented as a basis for making policies for making the Master Plan for the Development of the Arjuno Agrotechnopark Tourism Area in Pasuruan Regency. Data collection was carried out by: a) desk study, b) field observations, c) documentation, and d) interviews. The results of the analysis state that there are two tourist routes that can be integrated into various tour packages according to the direction of entry of tourists from various cities in Java. The impacts that can arise from tourism activities in this area are in the form of social, cultural, economic and environmental impacts. Abstract

This research aims to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Governance and Service Activities for TEFA Edutourism Polije. SOP development is one of the eight requirements in the effort to establish TEFA Edutourism Polije. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection using observation, interviews, FGD, documentation and literature study. Activities carried out in this research include identifying Edutourism activities, identifying stakeholders, as well as identifying tasks and work procedures at TEFA Edutourism Polije. The main activity in Edutourism consists of visits to several TEFAs developed in Polije. The parties involved include Public Relations, the Integrated Agricultural Academic Services Unit (UPA) and the Food Product Development, Management and Packaging Academic Services Unit (UPA) which manages various TEFAs at Polije. The results of this research are, Administrative SOPs and TEFA Edutourism Polije Service SOPs. It is hoped that the SOP created can support the development of TEFA Edutourism Polije.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to examine whether the students of Jember State Polytechnic could understand the embedded meaning in the Samsung mobile phone commercial as they were in taking the public relation class. This study uses purposive sampling of 30 students to determine whether they understand the work of simulation and simulacra in the commercial to provoke the customer into buying the product. The students were given the basic theory of semiotics in the initial meeting to understand the power of governing crowds using symbol in order to justify their reasoning into the image being displayed in the mobile phone commercial. This study concludes that most of students agree to buy the products without concerning the utilities but more into making a social statement when buying. The images of having high social status, being the part of global community are the significance being attached not only to the product but to customer possessing the Samsung mobile phone. Keywords: public relation, semiotics, Samsung, simulation and simulacra

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the whiteboard animation proclamation based on the patriotism character of elementary students. This is quantitative with quasi-experimental research. Random cluster sampling with 56 students was used as a sampling technique. The data were collected through patriotism scale tests before and after learning activity. Analysis data techniques used were descriptive and inferential statistics analysis by comparing the average result of the test and t-test. The result shows that the average of students' patriotism in the control class is lower than in the experimental class. The increase of the control class is only 15.05% compared to the experimental class that increased 32.25%. T-test results show that whiteboard animation proclamation-based can influence elementary students' patriotism with a significance value of 0.00 (<0.05). It shows that whiteboard animation is effectively used to improve the patriotism character of elementary school students.

Abstract

Wonoasri Tempurejo Jember merupakan desa yang berbatasan langsung dengan Taman Nasional Meru Betiri, hutan lindung terbesar di Jawa Timur. Di Desa Wonoasri terdapat Koperasi Usaha Bersama (KUBE) bernama Meru Betiri yang beranggotakan 15 orang pembatik. Setiap bulan pengrajin batik menghasilkan 30 potong kain batik tulis pewarna alam dengan proses pengerjaan kain batik 3-7 hari per lembar kain batik. Penjualan batik tulis ini sangat rendah karena harga yang mahal sehingga pendapatan pengrajin batiknyapun rendah. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat desa Wonoasri ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penjualan produk kain berpewarn alam dengan memanfaatkan potensi hayati desa Wonoasri. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan kain dengan pewarna alam dengan teknik ecoprint basic mirroring dan blanket. Dalam sosialisasi ini diajarkan untuk menentukan jenis bahan kain, memilih bahan alam diantaranya, daun yang mengandung tanin tinggi, bahan mordan, persiapan mordan kain, membuat pewarna alami, menata daun, dan proses pengukusan kain. Pelatihan dan pendampingan ini dapat meningkatkan keterampilan peserta untuk membuat kain ecoprint yang berkualitas hingga 100%. Adanya varian produk kain pewarna alam diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan pembatik desa Wonoasri karena kain ecoprint memiliki harga jual terjangkau dan proses pembuatan menggunakan tumbuhan yang ada di desa Wonoasri sehingga mampu mengurangi biaya pembeliaan bahan baku. Dengan produk yang bermutu tinggi perlu juga ditunjang dengan pengetahuan digital marketing untuk media promosi. Pelatihan pengenalan digital marketing telah dilaksanakan, dan masih perlu pendampingan untuk melakukan promosi produk melalui sosial media Instagram maupun menggunakan google my business.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan membaca intensif siswa sekolah dasar karena metode pembejaran masih konvensional oleh pendidik sehingga tidak ada aktifitas siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca intensif siswa sekolah dasar melalui Model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). Adapun definisi dari membaca intensif adalah kegiatan membaca yang dilakukan dengan secara cermat dan teliti terhadap teks yang dibaca, membaca intensif dapat diterapkan dalam upaya mencari informasi yang bersifat detail. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji secara teoritis artikel-artikel terkait membaca intensif di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur terhadap lima artikel yang publish di Jurnal Nasional. Hasil kajian ini terdapat peningkatan dengan rata-rata persentase siklus I yaitu 65% dan siklus II yaitu 91%. Sehingga dapat di simpulkan bahwa kemampuan membaca intensif menggunakan Model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) sangat cocok untuk di terapkan kepada siswa sekolah dasar karena mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan yaitu sebesar 26%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah pembelajaran daring materi ayo cintai lingkungan siswa Sekolah Dasar Kelas IV dengan menggunakan metode bercerita berbantuan media Whatsapp. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 1 orang guru dan 18 siswa kelas IV. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Pembelajaran RPP (Rencana Pelaksanaan), bahan ajar berupa video pembelajaran, angkat siswa dan angket guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skenario dan implementasi yang telah dilaksanakan guru sudah sesuai dengan kegiatan pembelajaran, respon guru dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menunjukkan hal yang positif, kesulitan siswa dalam penyelesaian tugas salah satunya sulit dalam berbicara dengan lantang serta ekspresi dalam bercerita, kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru terhadap pembelajaran daring yaitu dari segi jaringan. RPP yang digunakan sudah baik dan sesuai dengan pembelajaran daring serta metode yang digunakan menarik bagi siswa dan bisa dipahami dengan mudah oleh siswa.

Abstract

Untuk mendorong pemerataan pengembangan wisata, pengelola Desa Sidomulyo berencana mengembangkan kawasan Sendang Tirto Gumitir sebagai daya tarik unggulan. Namun, agar kawasan ini benar-benar mampu menarik minat wisatawan dan menciptakan pengalaman yang bermakna, diperlukan inovasi dalam bentuk paket wisata tematik yang terintegrasi dan berkelanjutan. Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi masyarakat dalam menyusun paket wisata di Kawasan Sendang Tirto Gumitir secara mandiri. Metode yang dilakukan terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu persiapan, sosialisasi dan pretest, pendampingan penyusunan paket wisata, penilaian dan perbaikan hasil paket wisata, serta evaluasi dan posttest. Pelatihan ini juga didampingi oleh pihak eksternal yang ahli di bidang perjalanan wisata. Oleh karena itu, Tim Pengabdi bekerjasama dengan CV. Avanatour, perusahaan tour travel lokal yang telah berpengalaman menjual paket wisata domestik dan internasional. Pada tahap pendampingan, program dibagi menjadi tiga bagian yaitu penyampaian materi secara lisan dan diskusi antara pemateri dan peserta, identifikasi kelompok wisatawan yang akan menjadi target pasar utama, menentukan rute kunjungan di Kawasan Sendang Tirto Gumitir. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam memahami komponen utama paket wisata yaitu atraksi, fasilitas, wisatawan dan waktu. Dengan demikian, peserta mampu mengidentifikasi daya tarik Kawasan Sendang Tirto Gumitir, menentukan target pasar wisatawan dan menyusun paket wisata sebagai produk agrowisata yang dapat ditawarkan kepada wisatawan. Berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest, tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta bertambah sebesar 47% dan 61%. Monitoring dilakukan selama 1 tahun untuk menjamin keberlanjutan program.]

Abstract

The research conducted in class The biggest triggers are caused by stress and anxiety so that students prefer to do activitiesthat are more enjoyable than completing the demands of school work. Furthermore, self-instruction techniques in group counseling to reduce academic procrastination have proven to be effective. This research uses mixed methods with an explanatory sequential design. The research results show that students are more involved in the learning process, understandthe process better, and have alternative ways to solve problems. Data analysis including pretest and posttest data showed that eight members of the experimental group experienced significant changes after receiving the service. The pretest results show a score of 82.2% and a posttest score of 72.7%, so the self-instruction technique in the form of self-verbalization ingroup counseling is effective in reducing students' academic procrastination. Another finding in this research is that teachers need to understand that procrastination is not just a matter of laziness, but can be caused by various factors such as anxiety, inability to manage time, or lack of motivation. By understanding students' conditions empathetically, teachers can deal withthis problem better, create a regular schedule to monitor student progress, provide encouragement, provide constructivefeedback, and offer strategies to overcome procrastination.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using Kahoot as a learning medium for English grammar instruction. With the increasing integration of technology in education, gamified learning platforms like Kahoot have gained popularity for enhancing student engagement and motivation. However, its effectiveness in improving grammar comprehension remains to be thoroughly examined. This research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data from pre-test and post-test results with qualitative feedback from student surveys and teacher observations. The participants consisted of secondary school students (or university students, depending on your research sample) who used Kahoot for grammar exercises over a specified period. The findings indicate whether Kahoot significantly improves grammar mastery, student participation, and learning motivation compared to traditional methods. The results also highlight challenges, such as technical issues and varying student proficiency levels, that may affect its implementation. This study provides valuable insights for educators considering Kahoot as a supplementary tool for grammar instruction and suggests recommendations for optimizing its use in the classroom.
