Abstract

The purpose of this research is describe the reflective thinking profile of pre-service physics teacher students in Earth physics lectures about Ocean climate. This research was conducted in the physics education study program in one of the Higher Education Institutions in NTB Province, with a total of 25 respondents who had taken the Earth Physics course. The technique used in data collection is the analysis of the physics course syllabus and two essay tests about climate material that integrated with indicators of reflective thinking ability from Dewey's framework. Based on the analysis of the syllabus, it was found that the syllabus applied to the subject of earth physics had not been oriented to the provision of certain skills including reflective thinking skills. In addition, based on data analysis that the average value for question 1 is 18.75 and question number 2 is 16.75 where the maximum average score is on the understanding aspect of 31 for question number 1 while the minimum average score on critical reflection aspect is 7. It means that pre-service physics teacher students have very low reflective thinking abilities in Earth Physics lectures on ocean climate.Keywords: Reflective thinking skills, Earth Physics Syllabus, Earth Physics Lecture

Abstract

This research is a development research that develops teaching materials physics based contextual by integrating local wisdom. To further this research as the basis for the development of textbook physics of high economic value. This study intends to improve the mastery of concepts of physics students. Teaching materials developed using models of R & D with develop model used is a model development Borg & Gall (1985) and Kemp and Dayton (1985), which consists of; (1) research and data collection through surveys, (2) planning, (3) the preparation of teaching materials printed in the form of student worksheets, (4) test the validity of the expert, (5) product revision, (6) field trials small scale, (7) the revised product, (8) broad-scale field trials, (9) the revision of the final product, and (10) the dissemination and implementation. The trials conducted teaching materials student of physics education by test model one group pretest-posttes design. And based on the analysis of the data validation and testing that the teaching materials developed showing the criteria of "very feasible" to use and to improve the procurement of the concepts of physics students in basic physics lectures. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang mengembangkan bahan ajar fisika berbasis kontekstual dengan mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal. Untuk lebih jauh penelitian ini sebagai dasar pengembangan buku ajar Fisika yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik. Bahan ajar dikembangkan menggunakan model R & D dengan model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Borg & Gall (1989) dan Kemp & Dayton (1985) yang terdiri atas; (1) penelitian dan pengumpulan data melalui survei, (2) perencanaan, (3) penyusunan bahan ajar cetak dalam bentuk lembar kerja siswa, (4) uji validitas pakar, (5) revisi produk, (6) uji coba lapangan skala kecil, (7) revisi produk, (8) uji coba lapangan skala luas, (9) revisi produk final, dan (10) diseminasi dan implementasi. Uji coba bahan ajar dilakukan mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika dengan model tes one group pretest-posttes design. Dan berdasarkan hasil analisis dari data validasi dan uji coba bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan menunjukkan kriteriasangat layak untuk digunakan serta dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fisika mahasiswa pada perkuliahan fisika dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media virtual laboratorium simulasi PhET pada materi hukum hooke terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa kelas XI. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain PostTest Only. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI yang berjumlah 34 orang. Dengan teknik purposive sampling maka sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 1 yaitu sebanyak 17 orang untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 2 yaitu sebanyak 17 orang untuk kelas kontrol. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes pemahaman konsep siswa. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji validitas uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Pada akhir pembelajaran kelas sampel diberi tes akhir dengan menggunakan instrumen soal yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Berdasarkan hasil tes akhir diperoleh rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 82,35 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 81,37. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dan analisis data tentang pemahaman konsep siswa menunjukkan bahwa t-hitung yang diperoleh yaitu 0,43 sedangkan harga t-tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% yaitu 2,03 (t-hitung < t-tabel ). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada penelitian ini Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak, yang tidak ada pengaruh media virtual laboratorium simulasi PhET pada materi hukum hooke terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa kelas XI.

Abstract

In facing the current dynamics of education, big challenges arise with the introduction of the Independent Curriculum in Indonesia. The focus on developing higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) creates a deep need for planning teaching modules that are innovative and in line with new curriculum principles. The workshop is structured into several sessions which include an introduction to the HOTS concept, development of teaching modules, technology integration, and direct practice in creating module prototypes. This process is designed to provide an in-depth understanding and skills needed for elementary school teachers to be able to design teaching modules that are by the principles of the Independent Curriculum. Through a step-by-step approach, this workshop becomes a bridge towards implementing quality and relevant learning at the basic education level.

Abstract

Penulisan ilmiah merupakan suatu tuntutan sebagai seorang guru profesional yang selalu menjaga tradisi ilmiah dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu dan kompetensi. Namun banyak guru di SDN Sumurwelut III yang belum secara konsisten menulis karya ilmiah. Hal tersebut menjadi sebuah kebutuhan sekolah mitra dari kampus Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya untuk dilakukan pendampingan penulisan karya ilmiah melalui kelompok dosen dari Program Studi PGSD. Permasalahan minimnya wawasan guru dalam hal penulisan ilmiah menjadi kegiatan pokok dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM). Pada Kegiatan PkM yang dilakukan kelompok dosen ini bertujuan memberikan solusi dan kemanfaatan bagi guru dalam penulisan ilmiah, sehingga guru semakin profesional dengan adanya karya ilmiah yang dimiliki. Selain itu menambah wawasan bagi guru untuk menyusun karya ilmiah. Kegiatan PkM ini mendapatkan respon baik dari para guru. Dengan harapan setelah melaksanakan kegiatan pendampingan tersebut, guru dapat membuat publikasi karya tulis ilmiah.

Abstract

One factor that determines teachers' success in teaching is the teacher's ability to plan lessons. Careful and good lesson planning can help create an effective learning environment, maximize students' potential, and increase their learning success. It also assists teachers in teaching in a more structured and directed manner, positively impacting student learning outcomes. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the ability of pre-service high school teachers to plan lessons based on the Merdeka Curriculum. This research is a descriptive study with 37 pre-service high school teachers as subjects. Data were collected using angles, portfolios, and interview sheets which were then analyzed using quantitative and qualitative approaches. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the pedagogic competence of pre-service high school teachers in terms of the ability to plan lessons according to the Merdeka Curriculum was 23% at a low level, 47% at a medium level, and 30% at a high level. Therefore, pre-service high school teacher's ability to plan to learn needs to be improved, especially in learning design scenarios and assessments. The results of this research contribute as input to related parties, in this case, the Institute of teacher education and Training Institutes, in developing teacher education and training programs that are relevant and adaptive to current educational developments.

Abstract

Abstrak Melakukan inovasi proses pembelajaran dalam perkuliahan mahasiswa PGSD merupakan sebuah tuntutan, agar dapat memberikan motivasi dan gambaran pentingnya perubahan pendekatan pembelajaran pada mahasiswa. Makalah ini bertujuan mengkaji Eksplorasi Ethnosains “Seni Jidor” sebagai Tugas Produk Konsep Bunyi Dalam Pembelajaran Mahasiswa PGSD. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Obyek sasaran penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa PGSD Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya angkatan 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tugas produk pembuatan alat musik Jidor sederhana sebagai Eksplorasi Ethnosains Konsep Bunyi dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar konsep bunyi yang lebih nyata, mengakaktifkan, menyenangkan, dan mengesankan sehingga memberikan hasil belajar yang tinggi (76% memenuhi KKM) pada mahasiswa PGSD. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa eksplorasi ethnosains “seni jidor” sebagai tugas produk konsep bunyi dalam pembelajaran mahasiswa PGSD dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar konsep bunyi yang lebih nyata, mengakaktifkan, menyenangkan, dan mengesankan serta hasil belajar yang tinggi pada mahasiswa.Kata Kunci : Eksplorasi, Ethnosains, Seni Jidor Abstract Innovating the learning process in PGSD student lectures is a requirement, in order to provide motivation and illustrate the importance of changing learning approaches for students. This paper aims to examine the ethnoscience exploration of "SeniJidor" as a sound concept product assignment in PGSD student learning. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The target object of this research is PGSD Students of PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya Class of 2022. The results of the research show that the product task of making simple Jidor musical instruments as an Ethnoscience Exploration of Sound Concepts can provide a more real, activating, enjoyable and impressive learning experience of sound concepts so as to provide good learning outcomes. high (76% meets the KKM) among PGSD students. Thus, it can be concluded that the ethnoscience exploration of "jidor art" as a sound concept product assignment in PGSD student learning can provide a more real, activating, enjoyable and impressive sound concept learning experience as well as high learning outcomes for students.Keywords : Exploration, Ethnoscience, Jidor Art

Abstract

This paper discusses the role of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and Australia through the KOMPAK program, with a focus on supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for quality education in Papua and West Papua. KOMPAK, which is supported by the Australian government, aims to improve the quality of life in Indonesia by strengthening basic services, including education. NGOs play an important role in implementing this program by leveraging local expertise to build capacity, increase access to education, and empower communities. This program is in line with the global commitment to SDG 4, which emphasizes inclusive and equitable quality education for all children, especially in remote and underserved areas. This collaboration shows the shared commitment between the two countries and highlights the important role of NGOs in improving the educational landscape in Papua and West Papua, with the aim of ensuring a better future for the region's young generation

Abstract

Berdasarkan penelitian ini, diasumsikan bahwa salah satu faktor yang berdampak pada kurangnya hasil belajar siswa adalah banyak guru yang kurang atau tidak mau berinovasi dalam menggunakan metode pembelajaran dan pembuatan media pembelajaran, terutama pada mata pelajaran IPS tentang keragaman suku bangsa dan budaya. Penelitian ini mengkaji efek penggunaan metode Talking Stick dengan bantuan flashcard untuk meningkatkan kesadaran budaya siswa terhadap materi keragaman suku bangsa dan budaya di SDN Kebondalem Mojosari di SD Kelas IV. Rancangan dalam model penelitian ini kelompok tidak dipilih secara acak atau berpasangan, dan tidak ada kelompok pembanding. Namun, kelompok tersebut diberikan tes awal dan akhir. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Metode data dianalisis melalui uji normalitas, uji hipotesis, uji sampel berpasangan (paired samples test), dan perhitungan uji normalitas. Nilai untuk jumlah sampel pretest adalah 15, dengan nilai sig 0.41 untuk kelompok pretest dan nilai sig 0.56 untuk kelompok posttest. Jika Jika probabilitas atau bilangan signifikan dalam output bagian Shapiro-Wilk kurang dari 0,05, distribusi data adalah normal. Oleh karena itu, dapat dikatakan bahwa temuan uji normalitas data penelitian menunjukkan nilai yang signifikan lebih tinggi dari nilai-p 0,05, juga disingkat sig. Akibatnya, hasil pra dan sesudah tes normal, sehingga data dapat dilanjutkan untuk uji-t. Sedangkan untuk uji hipotesis menyatakan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, menurut data pada tabel, karena nilai kelompok eksperimen 0.000 < 0.05. penggunaan metode talking stick yang berbantuan flashcard lebih efektif digunakan untuk mengajarkan keragaman suku dan budaya.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model through a material differentiation approach on the addition ability of grade 1 elementary school students at SDN Ngagelrejo I/396 Surabaya. The material differentiation approach is carried out by adjusting the level of difficulty of the addition material based on individual student abilities. This research used a quasi-experimental design with two groups, namely an experimental group that received learning using the PBL model and a material differentiation approach, and a control group that received conventional learning. The research subjects were grade 1 students at SDN Ngagelrejo I/396 Surabaya. Data was collected through addition ability tests before and after treatment. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference between the addition abilities of students in the experimental group and the control group. The PBL model with a material differentiation approach has proven to be effective in improving the addition ability of grade 1 elementary school students at SDN Ngagelrejo I/396 Surabaya. This research recommends the use of the PBL model with a material differentiation approach in mathematics learning in elementary schools, especially at SDN Ngagelrejo I/396 Surabaya.
