Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan habit of thinking flexibly siswa SMA yang belajarnya dengan problem based learning (PBL) berbantuan Cabri 3D dan siswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan populasi adalah seluruh siswaSMA Negeri 13 Palembang. Sampelnya adalah siswa kelas X sekolah tersebut. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel sebanyak 73 siswa, terbagi 37 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 36 siswa kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala habit of thinking flexiblyyang dikembangkan peneliti bersama beberapa ahli. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa habit of thinking flexibly untuk kedua kelastidak berbeda secara signifikan. Namun habit of thinking flexibly siswa yang belajar melalui PBL berbantuan Cabri 3D sudah mengarah untuk menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara literasi numerasi dan literasi finansial pada mahasiswa calon guru matematika di Universitas Tamansiswa Palembang. Literasi numerasi dan finansial merupakan keterampilan esensial dalam pengambilan keputusan rasional, khususnya dalam konteks ekonomi personal. Pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional digunakan dalam studi ini, dengan melibatkan 12 mahasiswa sebagai sampel. Instrumen penelitian berupa dua jenis tes uraian yang telah divalidasi, masing-masing terdiri dari 15 soal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata literasi numerasi sebesar 70,08 dan literasi finansial sebesar 70,50, dengan distribusi data yang normal. Uji korelasi Pearson mengindikasikan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kedua variabel tersebut. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi kemampuan numerik mahasiswa, semakin tinggi pula pemahaman mereka terhadap konsep finansial. Implikasi dari hasil ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi literasi finansial dalam pembelajaran matematika, khususnya pada pendidikan calon guru. Pembelajaran kontekstual yang mengaitkan matematika dengan kehidupan nyata dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pengambilan keputusan finansial yang bijak.

Abstract

Comparative education studies examine the similarities, differences, and factors influencing the education systems of various countries. This study is crucial for understanding the dynamics of global education and supporting national policy development. The primary focus is on identifying similarities and differences in education systems and understanding the historical and contextual factors that shape these policies. This research analyzes relevant national and international literature and journals, including the history of education in Indonesia. The results demonstrate that comparative education is not only analytical but also helps adapt best practices to Indonesia's social, cultural, and political context. Aspects examined include educational philosophy, curriculum, learning methods, policies, educational structures, and external factors such as economics and culture. From pre-colonial times to the reform era, education plays a role in strengthening cultural values, developing human resources, and shaping national identity. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating lessons from other countries while maintaining Indonesia's distinctive characteristics for effective and sustainable policy.

Abstract

This study aims to provide happiness intervention services to the elderly who experience mild depression so as to reduce the level of depression and the elderly can live old age with happiness. The implementation of student internship activities carried out on the elderly at the Padu Wau Maumere Elderly Social Welfare Home, Watumilok village, Kangae District, Sikka Regency. The time of implementation of internship activities was carried out for 3 months, starting from September 02 to December 20, 2024. After conducting observations and interviews and distributing scales/measuring tools that are in accordance with the problems found in the field, then the author compiles effective interventions to overcome the problems experienced by the elderly. The author uses happiness intervention because it is considered the most effective to apply to elderly people who are in institutions with depression problems. Happiness intervention using 3 therapies, namely group activity therapy, laughter therapy, and relaxation therapy. The implementation of this intervention activity was carried out in the Hall of the Padu Wau Maumere Elderly Social Welfare Home for three days. The results of this study indicate that the applied happiness intervention is proven to be effective in reducing the level of depression in the elderly at Panti Padu Wau Maumere with the results of the post test showing that some respondents who experience moderate and mild depression have decreased. This is evidenced by data testing using the Wilcoxon test.
