Abstract

The Hadith of Iftirāq al-Ummah states that the Muslim community will split into seventy-three sects, with only one group known as al-Firqah al-Nājiyah attaining salvation. This study aims to critically analyze the chain of transmission (sanad) and the text (matan) of this hadith, as well as to examine its contemporary theological implications, particularly concerning the understanding of the Firqah Nājiyah concept within the framework of Religious Moderation. The methodology applied includes takhrij and naqd al-ḥadīth (hadith criticism), enriched by a comparative study of the perspectives of classical theologians (mutakallimūn) and contemporary Indonesian scholars. The research findings reveal that this hadith possesses a strong sanad (ṣaḥīḥ li-ghayrihi) due to support from various corroborative transmissions (mutāba'āt). However, the matan specifically the threatening phrase "Hellfire" is vulnerable to criticism of shudhūdh if interpreted literally and outside its proper context. Within the contemporary socio-religious context of Indonesia, thinkers and scholars reconstruct the meaning of al-Firqah al-Nājiyah not as an exclusive and closed group identity, but as a collective commitment to practicing the principles of Religious Moderation (al-Wasaṭiyyah) and maintaining Unity (al-Jamā'ah). This reinterpretation ultimately encourages the development of an attitude of inclusiveness, tolerance, and broader social harmony within a plural society

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of conflict management as a process of planning and implementing strategies aimed at controlling conflict to produce the desired resolution. In its implementation, conflict management is designed by adopting the management functions of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling (POAC), which directly support the improvement of teacher performance. This study aims to determine conflict management strategies in improving teacher performance at MTsN 1 Sumenep. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type, utilizing data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. The results of this study reveal that the conflict management strategies implemented at MTsN 1 Sumenep are based on theology from the Qur'an and Hadith, including: 1) negotiation; 2) tabayyun; 3) deliberation; 4) tahkim; and 5) islah. The implications of these findings confirm that effective conflict management can be carried out to improve teacher performance based on Islamic values.

Abstract

This article aims to explore curriculum innovation amid the trend of educational modernization based on the curriculum of Kulliyatul Mu’allimin Al-Islamiyah (KMI) at the Gontor Islamic Boarding School in Ponorogo, East Java. The method employed is a historical approach (historiography) through a literature review. The primary data source is a book by Kiai Dr. A. Syukri Zarkasyi titled Gontor and the Renewal of Pesantren Education. Secondary data sources come from various relevant references. The data is then analyzed and described to form an innovative curriculum concept. From the time Indonesia was still in a state of chaos before independence, up to the post-independence era today, the Gontor Islamic Boarding School has participated in revitalizing the Educational Renaissance in Indonesia through the innovation of the KMI curriculum, whose graduation certificates were recognized by Egypt, Malaysia, and Pakistan before being officially recognized by the Indonesian government. Artikel ini bertujuan mengembangkan inovasi kurikulum di tengah arus modernisasi pendidikan berdasarkan Kurikukum Kulliyatul Mu’allimin Al-Islamiyah (KMI) Pesantren Gontor Ponorogo Jawa Timur. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan sejarah (historiografi) melalui studi pustaka. Sumber data primernya adalah buku karya Kiai Dr. A. Syukri Zarkasyi yang berjudul Gontor dan Pembaruan Pendidikan Pesantren. Sumber data sekundernya dari berbagai referensi yang relevan. Lalu data dianalisis dan dideskripsikan menjadi konsep kurikulum inovatif. Sejak Indonesia masih dalam kondisi carut-marut sebelum masa kemerdekaan, hingga pasca kemerdekaan saat ini, Pesantren Gontor telah berpartisipasi dalam menyemarakkan Kebangkitan Pendidikan di Indonesia melalui inovasi kurikulum KMI yang ijazah lulusnya diakui oleh negara Mesir, Malaysia dan Pakistan, sebelum diakui secara resmi oleh negara Indonesia.  Kata Kunci : KMI Gontor; Kurikulum; Modernisasi; Pesantren.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji transformasi paradigma kepemimpinan pendidikan dari pendekatan teori sifat dan perilaku menuju kepemimpinan situasional dan transformasional. Kajian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kecenderungan penelitian sebelumnya yang membahas teori kepemimpinan secara parsial, sehingga belum menghasilkan kerangka konseptual yang integratif dalam menjelaskan perkembangan paradigma kepemimpinan dalam konteks pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pergeseran paradigma kepemimpinan serta menyusun pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif mengenai dinamika perkembangannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka (library research) yang bersumber dari buku, artikel jurnal ilmiah, dan literatur akademik yang relevan. Sumber data dipilih secara purposive dengan mempertimbangkan relevansi dan keterbaruan publikasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis) yang dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk mengidentifikasi pola, hubungan, serta perkembangan konsep dalam teori kepemimpinan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi pergeseran paradigma kepemimpinan dari pendekatan yang berorientasi pada karakteristik individu menuju pendekatan yang lebih adaptif dan transformatif, yang mempertimbangkan situasi organisasi serta kemampuan pemimpin dalam menginspirasi perubahan. Kepemimpinan transformasional muncul sebagai paradigma yang paling relevan dalam menghadapi kompleksitas organisasi pendidikan modern karena menekankan visi, motivasi, inovasi, dan pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi konseptual berupa kerangka integratif yang menghubungkan paradigma kepemimpinan klasik dan modern, serta implikasi praktis bagi pengembangan kepemimpinan dalam lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of interactive learning media based on information technology in Islamic Religious Education learning. The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the field of education, including the learning process in classrooms. Interactive learning media based on information technology provide opportunities for teachers to create more engaging, effective learning environments and to enhance student participation. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method to examine various concepts, theories, and previous research related to the use of interactive learning media in Islamic Religious Education. The results indicate that the use of information technology-based interactive learning media can increase students' learning motivation, conceptual understanding, and active involvement in the learning process. In addition, technology-based media support the creation of more contextual and innovative learning environments that align with the characteristics of the digital generation. Therefore, the utilization of interactive learning media based on information technology becomes an important strategy in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning in the digital era.

Abstract

Konflik merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari kehidupan organisasi, termasuk dalam lembaga pendidikan. Konflik sering dipersepsikan sebagai hambatan dalam pencapaian tujuan, padahal jika dikelola secara tepat dapat menjadi kekuatan konstruktif yang mendorong peningkatan kinerja dan produktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepemimpinan dan komunikasi organisasi dalam pengelolaan konflik serta menelaah efektivitas keduanya dalam menciptakan penyelesaian konflik yang konstruktif pada lembaga pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan (library research) melalui penelaahan buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan sumber relevan lainnya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan memiliki peran strategis dalam mengarahkan, mengendalikan, dan menyelesaikan konflik melalui pendekatan komunikasi terbuka, negosiasi, dan mediasi yang didukung oleh nilai-nilai kepemimpinan Islam seperti musyawarah, tabayyun, dan ishlah. Di sisi lain, komunikasi organisasi yang efektif, baik melalui pola vertikal, horizontal, maupun diagonal, berperan dalam memperlancar aliran informasi, mengurangi kesalahpahaman, serta membangun hubungan kerja yang harmonis. Efektivitas pengelolaan konflik sangat dipengaruhi oleh kejelasan pesan, keterbukaan informasi, konsistensi kebijakan, serta adanya umpan balik yang konstruktif. Dengan demikian, sinergi antara kepemimpinan dan komunikasi organisasi menjadi kunci utama dalam menciptakan pengelolaan konflik yang efektif dan berkelanjutan dalam lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi digital siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) melalui pemanfaatan teknologi Artificial İntelligence (AI) sebagai media pembelajaran kewirausahaan. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah 25,80% pemuda Indonesia berstatus Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET) (UNDP 2023), sementara pemerintah menargetkan 9 juta talenta digital pada 2030. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan partisipatif yang mencakup penyampaian materi, simulasi, dan praktik pembuatan identitas merek menggunakan AI, dilaksanakan di SMK Bhakti Husada Kuningan dengan peserta siswa kelas XI dan XII. Hasil evaluasi pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan terhadap pemahaman literasi digital meningkat dari 42% menjadi 83%, kemampuan penggunaan AI untuk desain dari 18% menjadi 76%, dan motivasi berwirausaha dari 51% menjadi 88%. Selain itu, terbentuk beberapa kelompok usaha siswa dengan ide bisnis berbasis produk kesehatan dan konten digital. Temuan ini sejalan dengan (Duong 2026) yang membuktikan bahwa AI literacy berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi kewirausahaan digital di konteks vokasi. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam mempersiapkan siswa SMK sebagai wirausaha muda yang adaptif terhadap era digital.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the poor quality of education, which comes from the weak way educational supervision is carried out in schools. Supervision is very important because it helps, guides, and improves teachers' skills, making the learning process work well and smoothly. The goal of this study is to look at how supervision can help improve education quality by making teachers perform better and making learning more effective. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Information was gathered through detailed interviews, observations, and reviewing documents with school principals, teachers, and supervisors. The data was analyzed in three steps: reducing the data, presenting it, and drawing clear conclusions. The findings show that when supervision is planned, ongoing, and done together, it helps teachers get better at planning lessons, managing classes, and sharing results about student learning. The discussion shows that the success of supervision depends a lot on the supervisor's skills, good communication, and support from the school's environment. In conclusion, supervision is more than just watching over; it's also about helping teachers grow and improve. When supervision is done in a caring, involved way that focuses on what teachers need, it really helps make the school environment better and supports higher quality teaching.

Abstract

Financial management and public relations are two strategic aspects that support the sustainability of Islamic educational institutions. This study aims to examine the concept of financial management, the role of public relations, as well as the challenges and strategic efforts in managing Islamic educational institutions. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research design with content analysis techniques on relevant literature sources. The findings show that effective financial management must be based on Islamic principles such as transparency, accountability, and justice, while public relations plays an important role in building a positive institutional image and public trust. The major challenges include limited human resource competencies, suboptimal financial management systems, and the demands of adapting to information technology and social media developments. This study highlights the novelty that the integration of financial management and public relations is essential for improving the quality and sustainability of Islamic educational institutions in the modern era

Abstract

Improving the quality of Islamic educational institutions has become an important necessity amid globalization and technological developments. This study aims to analyze the contribution of administrative evaluation and educational supervision in improving the quality of Islamic educational institutions. The research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method through the analysis of books, journals, and relevant scientific articles. Data were analyzed using descriptive content analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that administrative evaluation plays an important role in improving institutional management, particularly in planning, program implementation, and data-based supervision. Educational supervision from an Islamic perspective functions not only as a control mechanism but also as a humanistic and collaborative professional development process grounded in the values of amanah, sincerity, and justice. The integration of evaluation and supervision contributes positively to improving teachers’ competencies, strengthening public trust, and enhancing the competitiveness of Islamic educational institutions. However, its implementation still faces challenges, such as limited human resources and suboptimal use of technology. Therefore, the development of sustainable digital-based evaluation and supervision systems is needed
