Abstract

The development of the industrial world is currently growing very rapidly over time, and so is the progress of existing technology. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are economic business activities owned by individuals or groups in accordance with the criteria stipulated by Law no. 20 of 2008. In this case, of course, MSME actors have a superior product that is produced in it. One of the SMEs in Sumbawa by producing a product, namely CV Suryatama Beton. This company produces paving blocks, profile poles, concrete buis, finished mamak, flower pots, iron wire pallets, road pavers, km stakes and wall paving blocks. The number of types of products produced certainly requires a high level of flexibility in machines and production processes. Flexible manufacturing system or FMS (Flexible manufacturing system) is a manufacturing system that can react flexibly to changes. The two kinds of system changes can be changes in the type of product to be produced (machine flexibility), as well as changes in the sequence of processes in the manufacture of these products (routing flexibility). The advantage of using FMS in a mass production system is the high flexibility in allocating time and effort, so as to increase productivity and product quality and reduce production costs. correct equipment and methods. Material handling system planning is an important component in facility planning, especially in relation to layout design.

Abstract

The use of computers or laptops is carried out in almost all levels of education. Activityroutine in front of laptops that are used for long periods of time can causehealth problems such as musculoskeletal injuries and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS).In preventing these problems, it is necessary to design a tool in the form oflaptop table that conforms to the human body or anthopometry. Abstract

Along with the rapid development of technology in the industrial world, the need for electrical energy is also increasing. PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Sumbawa is a state-owned company (BUMN) that helps provide and deal with various electricity problems in the surrounding area. Steps taken by this company in maintaining the safety and comfort of using electrical energy is to carry out regular checks at the customer's home. However, this step is deemed ineffective because the customer may not be at home during the checking. In addition, checking manually can also cause errors when recording the KWH meter, so that this can cause losses to the customer and the company. Therefore, PT. PLN (Persero) introduced a new system, namely the Automatic MeterReading (AMR) system. With this system, companies can read KWH meters remotely and automatically so that there are no more errors in recording KWH meters. However, the use of the system must be balanced with a good communication network. Several areas in Sumbawa still have difficulties in accessing the communication network, causing several disturbances to occur in the system. With the existence of various previous problems, a research was conducted to observe the types of disturbances as well as efforts to prevent and deal with disturbances in the KWH Meter system at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Sumbawa uses the Fishbone and PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) methods.

Abstract

The growth and development of the world of science and technology, especially in the industrial sector, is running very fast. It is for this reason that it is necessary to conduct direct research in the industrial world with the target of increasing insight and knowledge about the industrial world, including insight into the material handling process. Thus there is continuity between the knowledge learned in college and its application in the real world of work. Furthermore, it is hoped that students can face the challenges that occur and be able to solve existing problems. Higher education has the responsibility as an institution in shaping young generations with noble character, quality in science and technology, creating strong character, integrity and discipline. Suryatama Beton is a company engaged in the concrete industry which produces products such as paving blocks, concrete buis , pots, well rings and various other products. Therefore, with this research the author tries to analyze whether the company Suryatama Beton can apply the material handling process or not because this process is very good to be applied in the company.

Abstract

Brantas Abipraya (Persero) merupakan perusahaan yang mengerjakan Proyek Pengendalian Banjir dalam pengerjaan drainase yang terletak di kawasan Mandalika, Lombok Barat. Berdasarkan observasi di lapangan, ditemukan pada proses pemasangan L-Gutter berpotensi menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja yang diakibatkan pekerja tidak menggunakan APD. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk meminimalisir risiko terjadinya kecelakaan kerja pada Proyek Pengendalian Banjir di PT. Brantas Abipraya (Persero). Metode yang digunakan adalah Hazard Identification and Risk Assesment (HIRA). Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi dan penilaian potensi bahaya yang telah dilakukan, terdapat enam potensi bahaya pada Proyek Pengendalian Banjir. Usulan perbaikan berdasarkan hirarki pengendalian K3 berupa pengendalian teknik, pengendalian administrasi, dan APD, yaitu memperbaiki jalan yang rusak, melakukan rekayasa jalan, membuat penahan tanah/gorong-gorong penahan tanah dan melakukan pengurasan air dan pembersihan lumpur yang menggenangi jalan, memasang rambu-rambu proyek yang bertuliskan jalan berlubang dan berlumpur, menandakan ekskavator sedang melakukan pemasangan L-Gutter, menandakan area longsor, dan menandakan area licin dan tergenang air. Selanjutnya, agar selalu menggunakan APD berupa helm safety, sarung tangan safety, kacamata safety, pelindung telinga, sepatu safety dan masker serta agar segera dilakukan teguran jika tidak menggunakannya. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meminimalisir risiko kecelakaan kerja di Proyek Pengendalian Banjir PT. Brantas Abipraya (Persero) sehingga pekerja terhindar dari risiko kecelakaan kerja.

Abstract

UD. Rahman Mebel is a company that produces various forms of furniture such as chairs, tables, cabinets, doors, windows, and various other forms of furniture. the purpose of this research is to determine the best supplier at UD. Rahman Mebel uses the Promethee Method. Four alternative suppliers have been determined by UD. Rahman Furniture namely: UD. Rini, UD. Dedi Putra, UD. Rangga Putra, UD Ujud Alam Riski and there were also four criteria tested, namely quality, price, service, and delivery. Based on the results of observations through interviews stated that the difficulties experienced in selecting the best supplier according to the company's criteria. For this reason, a solution to this problem is needed, namely by analyzing the determination of supplier choices using the Promethee method. From the results of this study is, the highest net flow value is UD. Rangga Putra is in first place with a score of 0.9999. The second rank is UD. Ujud Alam Riski with a score of 0.3333. The third rank is UD. Dedi Putra with a score of -0.9999. And the last rank is UD. Rini with a value of -0.3333.

Abstract

Masin is a Sumbawa traditional food made from rebon shrimp which is given special spices and then fermented for about 14 days. Masin production often fails because the fermentation process is susceptible to contamination by bacteria and other fungi from the raw materials and the lack of hygiene in the equipment used. In addition, rebon shrimp is a catch of fishermen which is available at a certain time so the masin production must be optimized when the availability of the rebon shrimp is abundant by accelerating the fermentation process. Therefore, it is necessary to apply a Masin Fermenter with an intelligent control system to optimize the masin fermentation process. In addition, it is necessary to standardize the masin production process to reduce the risk of production failure. The social activity is carried out through workshops and discussions with masin entrepreneurs. Workshop materials include: How to make the fermenter and how to use the masin fermenters; Dissemination of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Masin production. Masin production with FERMAS-KECE is better than traditional method in terms of color, taste and aroma. The Masin fermentation process with FERMAS-KECE is faster than traditional method. The fermentation process has decreased after 3-5 which indicates the process has been completed so that with this it can increase production capacity up to 300%. In addition, the application of SOP for the manufacture of masin can reduce the risk of failure in masin production and the quality of standardized masin with uniform quality in each production process. Based on the results of the evaluation of participant satisfaction, it was found that the participants were very satisfied, both in terms of the material, the way the material was delivered and the fermenter machine used was very useful and needed by participants. Therefore, the application of FERMAS-KECE and SOP during the masin production process can increase the productivity, efficiency and quality of the masin.

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah penduduk berperan besar dalam peningkatan jumlah sampah yang ditimbulkan. Salah satu daerah di Indonesia yang sudah menerapkan tata pengelolaan sampah agar dapat dimanfaatkan ialah Kota Tegal, melalui dinas lingkungan hidup Kota Tegal, pemerintah berupaya untuk menangani pengelolaan sampah, baik organik maupun non organik serta limbah berbahaya. Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Tegal masih didapati beberapa masalah seperti belum tersedianya gudang untuk menempatkan barang atau fasilitas yang jarang digunakan sehingga dapat menimbulkan pemborosan tempat, sehingga hal tersebut dapat menggangu pekerja dan termasuk dalam pemborosan tempat. Oleh karena itu masalah tersebut perlu diselesaikan. Pada penyelesaian masalah tersebut digunakan metode 5S. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang 5S dalam usaha pengurangan waste pada pengelolaan sampah di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Tegal. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, diketahui bahwa luas area pengelolaan sampah organik adalah 200 m2 dengan panjang 20 m dan lebar 10 m. Dalam penelitian ini area kerja pada pengelolaan sampah organik akan dirancang 5S dan memberikan usulan layout baru karena di TPST Akhir Mintaragen Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Tegal belum menerapkan 5S sehingga kurang tertatanya letak peralatan atau fasilitas di ruang kerja. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah telah dirancang 5S guna memperbaiki sistem kerja pada Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Tegal serta untuk menangani permasalahan yang ada di lokasi kerja.

Abstract

MSMEs are said to be one of the economic activities in processing raw materials into finished materials that will provide added value. Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) must be able to find ways to grow their businesses. One of the ways is that MSME actors must pay attention to their product packaging. One of the companies that assisted in packaging was UPTD.Balai Regional Product Packaging, NTB. As well as in the manufacture of packaging requires accuracy to avoid work accidents. Therefore it is necessary to have recommendations for occupational accidents and safety (K3) to minimize hazards at work. Abstract

Loket pengambilan obat atau apotek menjadi fasilitas yang wajib ada setiap Rumah Sakit. Namun masih banyak terjadi antrian yang cukup ramai pada loket pengambilan obat terutama pada hari sibuk, persoalan tersebut terjadi juga di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Kabupaten Sumbawa. Persoalan antrian yang terjadi harus diselesaikan secara optimal agar para penebus merasa puas terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sistem antrian pada loket pengambilan obat menggunakan metode teori antrian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, bahwa sistem antrian eksisting yaitu penggunaan satu loket layanan atau single channel single phase masih belum optimal dalam mengatasi jumlah antrian pada loket pengambilan obat di setiap hari kerja karena masih terdapat steady state (?) lebih besar dari satu yang berarti masih terdapat jumlah penebus obat masih mengantri lama di sistem. Oleh karena itu diusulkan untuk menambah satu pelayanan menjadi dua loket pelayanan pada setiap hari kerja sehingga memenuhi kondisi steady state (?) dan diperoleh jumlah penebus obat dalam antrian (Lq) adalah 1 penebus sampai 2 penebus, sedangkan waktu tunggu penebus obat dalam antrian (Wq) adalah 1,464 menit hingga 2,58 menit.
