Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of al-muqabalah (contradictions of meaning) in Surah Ar-Rahman. Al-muqabalah is a form of the beauty of the language of the Koran which is included in the study of the science of balaghah. The method used is a qualitative approach to the type of library research. The research's primary data is the verses of Surah Ar-Rahman which contain muqabalah elements, while the secondary data comes from balaghah books and related literature. Data collection techniques use documentation and literature study methods. The findings of the research indicate that Surah Ar-Rahman contains various forms of muqabalah, such as the muqabalah between verses of nature, the muqabalah contrasting worldly and afterlife blessings, as well as the muqabalah between paradise and hell. The application of muqabalah in this surah aims to enhance the meaning, clarify the purpose of the verses, and highlight significant messages within the surah. This study is anticipated to offer a deeper insight into the rhetorical style of the Qur'an, especially regarding the use of muqabalah in Surah Ar-Rahman. translit ke bahasa indonesia

Abstract

ملخص: أما هدف البحث هو لشرح الصعوبات التي تواجهها الطالبات في معهد فاطمة الزهراء في إتقان مهارة الكلام والعوامل المسببة لها. ومنهج البحث تستخدم هذا البحث هو البحث الميداني الوصفي النوعي، أما تقنيات لجمع البيانات فهي الملاحظة والمقابلات والتوثيق التي أجريت في معهد طالبات فاطمة الزهراء. استخدمت الباحثة تثليث البيانات لاختبار التحقق من صحة البيانات. تقوم الباحثة بتحليل البيانات باستخدام تقليل البيانات وعرضت البيانات مع استخلاصها. وأما نتائج البحث في هذا البحث التي تواجهها الطالبات عن الصعوبات في إتقان مهارة الكلام، هو على ما يلي، أولى، صعوبة التحدث باستخدام اللغة العربية، وثانية، مشكلات ترتيب الجمل العربية، وثالثة، صعوبة في فهم معنى المفردات العربية، ورابعة، صعوبة نطق الحروف التي تتوافق مع مخرج. وتشمل عوامل الصعوبة التي تواجهها الطالبات في معهد فاطمة الزهراء، وهي، أولى: ضيق وقت الدراسة، وثانية، بيئة أقل دعما، وثالثة، عدم حفظ المفردات العربية، ورابعة، عدم فهم القواعد باللغة العربية، وخامسة، قلة التجربة والممارسة، وسادسة، ليس له خلفية في الحقل العربي. الكلمات المفتاحية: تحليل الصعوبة، الإتقان، مهارة الكلام Abstrack: The purpose of this research is explains the difficulties faced by female students at the Fatimah Az-Zahrah dormitory in mastering speaking skill and the factors causing them. This paper uses field research methods that are descriptive qualitative in nature، while the data collection technique is observation and interviews conducted with female students at the Fatimah Az-Zahrah dormitory. Researchers use data triangulation for data validation testing. Then researchers analyze data using data reduction، data presentation and drawing conclusions or data verification. The findings in this paper show that female students still often encounter difficulties in mastering speaking skill، first، difficulty in mastering speaking in Arabic skill، second، not being able to compose Arabic sentences، third، difficulty understanding the meaning of Arabic vocabulary and fourth، difficulty pronouncing letters that connecting to spech articulation. Among the difficulties faced by student are: first، lack of study time، second، unsupportive environment، third، lack of memorizing Arabic vocabulary، fourth، lack of understanding of Arabic rules، fifth، lack of training and practice and sixh، not having a background in the field of Arabic. Keywords: Analysis difficulty، mastery، speaking skills Abstrak: Tujuan tulisan ini menjelaskan tentang kesulitan-kesulitan yang di hadapi oleh mahasiswi di asrama Fatimah Az-Zahrah pada penguasaan mahârah al-kalâm serta faktor-faktor penyebabnya. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode penelitian lapangan yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif، adapun teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan pada mahasiswi asrama Fatimah Az-Zahrah. Peneliti menggunakan triangulasi data untuk uji validasi data. Kemudian peneliti menganalisis data menggunakan reduksi data، penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswi masih sering mengalami kesulitan dalam penguasaan mahârah al-kalâm diantaranya، pertama، kesulitan berbicara menggunakan bahasa Arab، kedua، tidak bisa menyusun kalimat bahasa Arab، ketiga، kesulitan dalam memahami arti kosa kata bahasa Arab dan keempat، sulit mengucapkan huruf yang sesuai dengan makhraj. Adapun faktor kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswi di asrama Fatimah az-Zahrah diantaranya، pertama، kurangnya waktu belajar، kedua، lingkungan yang kurang mendukung، ketiga، kurang hapalan kosa kata bahasa Arab، keempat، kurangnya pemahaman tentang kaidah dalam Bahasa arab، kelima، kurang latihan dan praktek serta keenam، tidak memiliki backround di bidang Bahasa Arab. Abstract

Desa Tanah Timbul memiliki potensi besar dalam produksi Virgin Coconut Oil, yang dihasilkan oleh salah satu UMKM setempat. Meskipun kualitas VCO yang dihasilkan sangat baik, produk ini belum dipasarkan secara luas karena keterbatasan dalam strategi pemasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pelaku UMKM dalam memasarkan produk VCO melalui pemanfaatan digital marketing. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Community Based Research melalui pelatihan pemasaran digital yang melibatkan media sosial dan e-commerce, pelaku UMKM diperkenalkan dengan teknik pemasaran modern, termasuk pembuatan konten visual, penggunaan media sosial, dan pengelolaan toko online. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam memasarkan produk secara mandiri, yang berdampak pada peningkatan penjualan dan perluasan jangkauan pasar. Dengan memanfaatkan platform digital, produk VCO dari Desa Tanah Timbul kini dapat diakses oleh konsumen yang lebih luas, meningkatkan potensi pertumbuhan ekonomi desa.

Abstract

Learning at Islamic schools functions to strengthen the values of religious moderation for students, so the selection of materials for all learning topics must support the transformation of religious moderation values, including in learning Arabic. This study aims to analyze the Arabic Maharah al-Qira’ah textbooks at Madrasa Aliyah (MA), which contain values of religious moderation. This study follows a qualitative-descriptive method. Data was collected using the content analysis method. The content analysis method is used to look at the constancy of the text content and the meaning of the contents of the Arabic Maharah al-Qira’ah textbooks at MA. The findings of this study indicate that the Arabic Qira’ah textbooks at MA contain religious moderation values including; national commitment, tolerance, anti-violence, and accommodation of local culture. The implications of this study are first, as an auto-corrective for Arabic textbook writers, and second, so that Arabic teachers can reinforce the values of religious moderation to students, both in the form of illustrations and by giving concrete examples in daily behavior.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze traditional Islamic boarding school leaders' perceptions of technology, models of learning Arabic sciences in traditional Islamic boarding schools, forms of using technology in learning Arabic language sciences in traditional Islamic boarding schools, and foundation support for using technology in learning sciences. -Arabic language knowledge in traditional Islamic boarding schools. The type of research used is qualitative-descriptive. Research data was obtained using observation methods, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The instruments used are observation lists, interview lists, and documentation lists. Data were analyzed using ATLAS—ti9 software. The research results show that (1). traditional Islamic boarding school leaders' perception of technology is very positive, and there is no rejection of the presence of technology; (2). The model of learning Arabic language sciences in traditional Islamic boarding schools is still preserved, such as using the yellow book with the bandongan, sorogan, and wetonan methods (3). Using technology in learning Arabic language sciences in traditional Islamic boarding schools by operating computers, laptops, focus, and cell phones with the help of the internet (4). The foundation supports the use of technology in learning Arabic language sciences in traditional Islamic boarding schools by disbursing sufficient funds to procure learning technology tools or by building collaborations with other parties. This research aims to increase the use of learning technology in traditional Islamic boarding schools to create effective and efficient learning but remain resistant to Islamic boarding school values and traditions.

Abstract

Nahwu merupakan suatu alat untuk mempermudah belajar bahasa Arab. Melalui ilmu nahwu, diharapkan santri mampu memperbaiki susunan uslub-uslub bahasa Arab. Namun, di dalam pembelajaran terdapat sebuah permasalahan mengenai minat belajar santri. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis Isi Buku Nahwu Titik Nol terhadap peningkatan minat belajar santri Manhalun Nabighin Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian Kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket. Data dianalisis dengan cara, pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa buku Nahwu Titik Nol tersebut memenuhi kriteria buku ajar yang baik dari segi materi, segi seleksi, gradasi, dan presentasi. Selain itu, penelitian ini menghasilkan data bahwa minat belajar santri mengalami peningkatan. Hal tersebut dikarenakan pembelajaran menggunakan bantuan materi yang detail dan cara mengajar guru didalam kelas yang membuat santri bersemangat mempelajari bahasa Arab dengan baik.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze Al-Mukhlis Mosque as an Indian-Muslims heritage at Tebing Tinggi City. Data were based on Religious Court documents and interviews of the mosque’s managers. Reliable history of the mosque could be established only since 1920s. Its historical milestones includes 1) the first waqf in 1920 by Kuti Kaka, 2) change of name to Al-Mukhlis Mosque in 1950, 3) main restoration in 1978, 4) legal waqf status by Religious Court in 1986, and 5) a total renovation in 2014. Al-Mukhlis Mosque current management is appointed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The mosque activities include worship, Islamic education, and general social activities. Finally, its Indian identity remains socially acknowledged because of the presence of the Indian-Muslim community as its organizer and funder. The mosque might become the starting point for the revival of Indian-Muslims’ roles of the city.Keywords: Indian-Muslim, Mosque, East Sumatra, North Sumatra, Islam

Abstract

Accurate pronunciation is essential for non-native Arabic learners, yet many face persistent difficulties in articulating specific sounds, leading to phonetic errors that impede comprehension. With technological advancements, artificial intelligence (AI)—particularly Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR)—offers promising solutions for identifying and correcting such errors. This study explores the application of AI in analyzing phonetic inaccuracies among Arabic learners through an experimental model using ASR technology. Employing a descriptive-analytical approach, ten undergraduate students from Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara were asked to read short Arabic passages. Their recordings were processed through ASR to detect pronunciation errors, including sound substitution, weak articulation, and inaccuracies in elongation (madd) and nasalization (ghunnah). The results demonstrate that ASR effectively identifies recurring phonetic error patterns, providing instructors with valuable diagnostic insights and enabling timely, personalized feedback. The study concludes that integrating AI-driven pronunciation analysis into Arabic language instruction can significantly enhance learning outcomes, support autonomous practice, and promote more accurate oral proficiency. It recommends that educators and institutions adopt ASR-based tools as part of digital language pedagogy to strengthen pronunciation training and foster continuous learner engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of educational innovation in enhancing elementary school students’ environmental awareness through jamboree activities in Malasari Village. The subjects of this research were elementary school students participating in the jamboree, with a focus on implementing experiential learning strategies in outdoor settings. To measure students’ metacognitive awareness regarding environmental issues, the Metacognitive Awareness Inventory was used and adapted to the context of environmental education. The findings reveal that educational innovation through jamboree activities improved students’ understanding of the importance of environmental conservation, fostered caring attitudes, and encouraged active participation in environmentally friendly practices. This study highlights that experiential, outdoor-based education can be an effective strategy for instilling environmental awareness and values from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the resilience of students in mastering Arabic vocabulary (mufradat) among eighth-grade students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Islamiyah Medan. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects were eighth-grade students, with Arabic teachers as supporting informants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. The results showed that student resilience was reflected in active perseverance, courage in facing mistakes, emotional regulation skills, and readiness to adjust learning strategies when facing difficulties in mastering mufradat. This resilience is formed through the interaction of internal factors, such as religious motivation and self-confidence, as well as external factors in the form of support from teachers, peers, and a supportive madrasah environment. This study confirms that resilience plays an important role in the successful mastery of vocabulary and needs to be strengthened through adaptive and supportive Arabic language learning practices.
