Abstract

Vaccinators, who are health workers, are continuing to make efforts to accelerate the achievement of the COVID-19 vaccination. This study aimed to analyze burnout syndrome among vaccinators. An analytical descriptive with a cross sectional approach was used. The number of samples using G*Power obtained 138 samples with the criteria of health workers who had been on the COVID-19 vaccinating team from public health centers (Puskesmas) and hospitals in Jember, Indonesia. The instrument used in this study was demographic data, factors causing burnout syndrome, and burnout syndrome. The statistical test is a correlative analysis (Spearman's rho, =0.05). Most of the respondents were aged 31-40 years, the majority were women, the majority were married, most came from the Puskesmas, more than half had worked >10 years, and more than half had been on the COVID-19 vaccine team for >18 months. There is a significant relationship between individual effort (p=0.039, r=-0.176) and organizational effort (p=0.009, r=-0.220) with burnout syndrome. However, the work environment was not significantly related to burnout syndrome (p=0.146, r=-0.124). Efforts are needed to reduce the incidence of burnout, especially those related to increasing individual welfare and significant organizational support so that the target for the COVID-19 vaccination is achieved.

Abstract

The nutritional problem in Indonesia in modern times is still complex. One of them is obesity that can occur in children, adolescents, and adults. Obesity can be caused by technological developments and consumption patterns of fast food, which is a lifestyle that causes a decrease in physical activity. This literature aims to describe the diet and physical activity patterns that cause obesity. The sources of journals/ articles used in the search for relevant databases were obtained through PubMed, Science Direct, Sinta, and Google Scholar with the 2015-2020 publication years and were traced using a combination of search terms for adolescent diet, adolescent obesity, and adolescent activity patterns. Then, it was analyzed using the PRISMA diagram method with four stages, namely identification, screening, feasibility, and insertion. This review identified that adolescents have a poor diet and often do light physical activity which causes obesity due to frequent consumption of fast food, high fat, high protein, and carbohydrates, eating at nighttime and excessive portions, not eating breakfast, often doing light activities such as watching tv, mopping and others and rarely exercising. The conclusion is that the energy coverage both the frequency, type, and amount needed with physical activity, both light, moderate and heavy, still needs to be studied more deeply. The importance of imparting nutritional knowledge in early childhood so that they can support life in the future.

Abstract

Farmers often work alone in remote environments with little time to rest or socialize, leading to mental health problems and poor psychological well-being. The imbalance between physical and psychological aspects causes physical responses such as difficulty concentrating, and psychological responses such as anxiety. Social support, self-efficacy, and coping mechanisms play a role in overcoming work-related stress in farmers. This study aims to analyze how family social support can reduce work stress in farmers. The method used in this study is a literature study with 10 articles in 3 databases, namely Google Scholar, Science Direct, and PubMed with a publication period of 2019-2024. Research shows that work stress in farmers can be caused by various factors, namely heavy workloads, long working hours, as well as weather pressure, pests, and changes in market prices. However, it was found that high family social support can reduce work-related stress in farmers but not on farmers' psychological well-being. Therefore, it is necessary to follow up on how family social support affects farmers' work stress and how effective coping strategies can reduce this stress.

Abstract

Abstract

ABSTRACTFalls are the second leading cause of death in hospital after medication errors. The first step needed to reduce the incidence of falls is to carry out a risk assessment using a fall assessment tool. This study aims to identify the implementation of a fall risk assessment at the . This research was conducted by observing the patient's medical records on April 26-May 6 2023. The research design used a descriptive type with the case study method, samples taken by patients using the total sampling method with a sample of 15 patients. In the patient's fall risk assessment, it was found that 6 patients had a low risk (40%) and 9 patients had a high risk of falling (60%). In this study, out of 15 patients, only 1 patient underwent a reassessment, while the other 14 patients only underwent an initial assessment. Based on this study it was concluded that the fall risk assessment needs to be improved as a patient safety effort not only as an assessment carried out on patients starting when the patient is admitted to the hospital (initial assessment) but also reassessment when the patient experiences a change in clinical status due to care or treatment while in the hospital. It is hoped that it can apply a fall risk assessment according to Standard Operating Procedures as an effort to save patients from falling incidents so that patients get appropriate treatment or avoid giving inappropriate treatment.Key Words: patient safety; initial assessment; review asessment; risk of fallingABSTRAKJatuh merupakan penyebab kematian nomor dua di rumah sakit setelah kesalahan pengobatan. Abstract

Introduction: Social Media has become an important tool in spreading health information, providing benefits for public health including for an easily accessible source of information for all. Farmers are a vulnerable group but they often ignore health problems and prefer self-diagnosis through electronic media or leave it alone. Methods: The purpose of this study was to find an overview of the trend of social media use as a source of health information by farmers in Dawuhan Lor Village. This study used quantitative descriptive method. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling with the number of respondents as many as 91 people. Data collection was carried out using personal instruments that have been adapted from Social Media Use and Computer Survey. Result: The results showed that the tendency of the use of social media as a source of information by farmers is in the medium category. This includes three indicators of the source of information sought such as treatment search, disease, and access to health services which are also in the medium category. Conclusion: Farmers use social media to search for information, interact with others, and utilize certain features, but they are not entirely dependent on social media as a source of information. Social media plays an important role as a component in "Cues to Action," influencing health decision-making processes at both individual and community levels. Information obtained through these digital platforms can significantly influence individual behavior in their efforts to promote and manage their health.
