Abstract

Artificial intelligence has a negative impact on students who lack control in using their gadgets. This study aims to utilize artificial intelligence that affects the world of education especially Islamic education. This research method uses a SWOT analysis developed through a qualitative descriptive approach; the aim is to explain the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence in building the values of creativity and innovation in Islamic education. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation and interviews. Interviews were conducted with 45 students and 9 teachers in the SMP N 1 Pontang environment. The interview technique uses a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study illustrate that artificial intelligence has been applied at SMPN 1 Pontang. The strength aspect of the use of artificial intelligence can improve teachers in terms of their professionalism, can access broader and more varied materials. Weakness aspect; Uncertainty in understanding the context of culture and spirituality. Opportunity aspect; having a lot of access in the digital world to sail to find materials. Challenge aspect; having limitations in understanding the context of Islamic culture, lack of direct touch from teachers, and increasingly limited moral education. The use of artificial intelligence at SMPN 1 Pontang is still relatively early, but its existence has succeeded in attracting students and teachers. Artificial intelligence tools such as grammar, jasper.ai, photomath, beautiful.ai, khan academy are widely used by students to support the educational process towards education that has high creativity and innovation values.

Abstract

The implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) has become a dominant paradigm in higher education in Indonesia, particularly in supporting quality assurance and the accountability of learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the implementation of OBE in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning at universities and to examine the extent to which this approach accommodates both students' academic achievement and the development of their spiritual awareness. This research employed a mixed-method approach with a sequential explanatory design. The findings indicate that OBE effectively supports students' academic achievement, which is categorized as high. However, students' spiritual awareness remains at a moderate level and tends to develop implicitly outside the formal evaluation system. These findings highlight the need to integrate spiritual awareness more explicitly within the OBE framework in Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

The integration of technology and a curriculum based on Islamic values at Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Informatika Kota Serang remains limited, with few studies that combine both to enhance education holistically. This study aims to analyze how integrating technology with an Islamic-based curriculum can improve educational quality. The research employs a qualitative case study approach, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzing it through condensation, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that technological integration through Tally, Braja, ARKAS, E-Learning, WhatsApp, and Information Technology media enhances student management, financial administration, communication, learning processes, and students’ digital skills. The Islam-based curriculum through Islamic Religious Education, Tarbiyah Islamiyah, and Islamic Gathering fosters Islamic character, a positive learning ethos, discipline, responsibility, tolerance, and social awareness. The synergy of both approaches increases student engagement, learning outcomes, critical thinking, and creativity, making the school adaptive to technology while maintaining internalization of Islamic values. In conclusion, the simultaneous integration of technology and Islamic curriculum improves education quality, student engagement, learning outcomes, and adaptive Islamic character. This study is significant as an innovative model for the development of vocational education policy and practice, combining academic and Islamic character aspects to enhance students’ creativity, problem-solving, and adaptability.

Abstract

Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPQ) in pesantren environments has impeded advancements in Qur’anic education, specifically concerning the accommodation of student requirements and technological constraints. This study investigates the use of technology in digital TPQ instruction, aiming to identify challenges and suggest solutions to improve learning outcomes, student participation, and long-term success. The study used an Exploratory Sequential Design, starting with a qualitative case study that included interviews, observations, and document analysis. The qualitative findings then informed a quantitative descriptive phase, where a Likert-scale questionnaire was given to 30 respondents, and the data were analyzed using SPSS and Microsoft Excel. The survey results show that a significant 80.7% of the participants believe that digital innovation in TPQ successfully connects Qur’anic education with current developments. Teaching tajwid incorporates tools like laptops, projectors, audiovisual aids, and mobile applications. These resources are used to increase student motivation and encourage active participation. WhatsApp serves as a communication tool for teachers and parents, helping to monitor academic progress and encouraging teamwork. Moreover, a significant 78.4% of those surveyed highlighted the importance of carefully managing digital media use. In essence, digital innovation serves to augment motivation, foster engagement, and improve instructional efficacy, all while upholding the core principles of pesantren. This study contributes to the ongoing discussion regarding the incorporation of digital technology in TPQ environments, demonstrating its potential to improve educational results and develop Qur’anic teaching methodologies tailored to the particular context.

Abstract

This study examines the prophetic–nationalistic leadership of Kyai Syam’un in the development of Islamic education in Banten. Prophetic–nationalistic leadership is defined as a leadership model that integrates prophetic values—sidq, amanah, tabligh, and fatanah—with the spirit of nationalism, patriotism, and social responsibility in educational practice. The main focus of this study is Kyai Syam’un’s contribution to the development of Islamic education in Banten, including the establishment of Islamic educational institutions, cadre formation, da’wah activities, character building, and strengthening of national values. This study employs a historical method consisting of heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The data were obtained from historical documents, archival records, field observations of historical sites such as the Al-Khairiyah Islamic educational institution, as well as interviews with informants who have historical connections with Kyai Syam’un, including Mufti Ali and Ali Mujahidin. Historical struggle is positioned as a contextual background that shaped the character of leadership, rather than the main focus of the study. The findings show that Kyai Syam’un’s leadership made a significant contribution to the development of Islamic education in Banten through the integration of Islamic values, discipline, patriotism, cadre formation, and social commitment within educational institutions such as Al-Khairiyah. His leadership model reflects a synthesis of religious values and national consciousness in educational practice. This study contributes to the field of Islamic educational leadership by offering a prophetic–nationalistic leadership model based on Islamic ethical values and national commitment, providing a conceptual framework for understanding the role of Kyai in developing character-based and nation-oriented Islamic education.

Abstract

The sustainability of Islamic education in Islamic boarding schools faces serious challenges amid social change, increasing demands for institutional professionalism, and the dynamics of religious values. This study aims to examine the practice of prophetic leadership at Pondok Pesantren Manahijussadat and its role in building a sustainable Islamic education ecosystem in Banten Province. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, and were analyzed thematically to obtain a comprehensive understanding of leadership patterns and the process of internalizing prophetic values. The findings indicate that prophetic leadership at Pondok Pesantren Manahijussadat is implemented through role modeling, deliberation, and service, and is grounded in the values of humanization, liberation, and transcendence. These values are not only embodied in the leader's personal conduct but are also institutionalized within the pesantren's systems, organizational culture, and governance. Prophetic leadership plays a crucial role in integrating various components of the educational ecosystem, strengthening cadre regeneration, and maintaining the continuity of values and social relations with the surrounding community. This study contributes to the literature on Islamic educational leadership by positioning prophetic leadership as a value-based foundation and an institutional mechanism for achieving sustainable Islamic education

Abstract

Kegiatan pramuka merupakan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang mengandung banyak manfaat; seperti halnya pohon kelapa yang memiliki banyak manfaat dari akar hingga pucuknya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur seberapa berpengaruhnya keiatan pramuka dalam menumbuhkan nilai akhlak siswa. Peneltian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif; dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif sebagai bentuk penjabaran fenomena pendidikan yang terjadi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTs Mambausolihin; secara geografis berada di Kampung Darepa, Desa Banyuresmi, Kecamatan Jiput, Kabupaten Pandeglang-Banten. Data dalam penelitian ini bersumber dari data primer dan sekunder; data primer seperti wawancara, dokumentasi dan penyebaran angket. Data sekunder berarti data literature ilmiah diantaranya buku, laporan jurnal dan lainnya. Wawancara dilakukan kepada tenaga pendidik, peserta didik yang berada di lingkungan MTs. Mambausolihin serta orang tua dari peserta didik. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 siswa; yang semuanya merupakan siswa MTs. Mambausolihin kelas VII. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan kuisioner. Tekik analisis data menggunakan teknik pengujian persyaratan analisis dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan kegiatan pramuka terhadap pembentukan akhlak siswa di MTs Mambausolihin Menes, Pandeglang sebesar 76,4%. Presentase ini bila dikorelasikan pada table korelasi berada pada rentan 0,70-0,89 yang berarti memiliki tingkat korelasi yang kuat. Kata Kunci: Nilai, Akhlak, Ekstrakurikuler, Pramuka.

Abstract

Perkembangan tekhnologi saat ini melaju sangat cepat, namun sedikit menemukan kendala pada wilayah pesisir. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melukiskan pembelajaran PAI menggunakan tekhnologi artificial intelligence diwilayah pesisir. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 2 Tirtayasa, Kabupaten Serang yang secara geografis tepat berada di wilayah pesisir laut. Peneltian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif; dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT sebagai bentuk penjabaran fenomena pendidikan yang terjadi di wilayah pesisir. Analisis deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebagai sarana merumuskan hasil penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, dokumentasi dan literature ilmiah sebagai penunjang penelitian. Wawancara dilakukan kepada tenaga pendidik, peserta didik dan orang tua. Wawancara dilakukan secara acak kepada siswa SMP Negeri 2 Tirtayasa. Sebanyak 25 siswa dipilih untuk diwawancarai, sebanyak 7 orang guru dan tenaga kependidikan SMP Negeri 2 Tirtayasa. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa kekuatannya meningkatkan akses pendidikan agama Islam, pengajaran yang interaktif dan menari; Kelemahannya keterbatasan infrastruktur tekhnologi, kesulitan menyelesaikan materi dengan kearifan local; Peluangnya pengembangan pembelajaran yang menarik, penyebaran materi yang luas dan merata; Tantangannya kesenjangan social, rendahnya literasi digital, keselarasan dengan nilai-nilai lokal dan agama. kecerdasan buatan dapat menjadi alat yang mendukung dan memperkaya pembelajaran agama Islam, meningkatkan aksesibilitas, serta memperkuat keterlibatan siswa dalam memahami ajaran agama.   Kata Kunci: Teknologi, Artifical Intelligence, Pendidikan Agama Islam, Wilayah Pesisir
