Abstract

Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler merupakan sarana strategis untuk mengembangkan potensi dan kreativitas peserta didik secara holistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi pengelolaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dalam pengembangan potensi dan kreativitas peserta didik di MA Pondok Qur’an. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala madrasah, wakil kepala madrasah bidang kesiswaan, pembina ekstrakurikuler, dan peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara interaktif dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan, dan diuji keabsahannya melalui triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengelolaan ekstrakurikuler telah berjalan sistematis melalui fungsi manajemen: perencanaan berbasis pemetaan minat-kebutuhan siswa (angket, komunikasi informal, dan evaluasi program sebelumnya), pengorganisasian dengan pembagian peran pembina–pelatih–pengurus siswa, pengarahan melalui latihan praktik yang variatif dan pemberian ruang kepemimpinan serta inovasi siswa, koordinasi yang harmonis antara waka kesiswaan, pembina, dan pengurus, serta pengendalian melalui evaluasi harian, evaluasi akhir semester, dan rapat tahunan. Strategi tersebut berdampak positif pada peningkatan disiplin, kerja sama, percaya diri, potensi, dan kreativitas peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of school literacy culture and its impact on improving students' reading and writing skills in Indonesian learning at the junior high school level. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was collected through learning observations, interviews with school principals, Indonesian teachers, and students, and document analysis. The results of the study show that the implementation of literacy programs that are managed in a planned and systematic manner, such as fifteen-minute reading activities, the development of literacy corners in various school locations, library optimization, and writing guidance, are able to improve students' reading and writing skills. Improvements can be seen in the ability to understand texts, find main ideas, analyze the structure and language of the text, and arrange writing sequentially and logically. The success of the literacy program is influenced by the strong leadership of the principal as a policy maker, motivator, supervisor, and initiator of cooperation, the pedagogical commitment of teachers, the availability of adequate facilities, and the active participation of parents and the school community. Supporting factors include the commitment of the principal and teachers, the support of parents and school committees, a conducive school environment, and adequate facilities. Inhibiting factors include challenges in the consistency of program implementation, limited book collections, differences in student motivation, limited time and budget, and competition with gadgets. This research emphasizes the importance of strengthening school literacy culture as part of education management to improve the quality of Indonesian learning in junior high schools.

Abstract

This study analyzes teacher professional development management as an effort to enhance teacher performance at SMP Negeri 1 Cimanggung, Sumedang Regency. The focus of the study consists of four main aspects of POAC-based management: planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. A qualitative approach using case study methods was used to gain an in-depth understanding. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that planning based on needs analysis, Education Reports, and competency gaps produces targeted programs. Organization involves effective task distribution, optimization of the roles of the vice principal, School Learning Community (Kombel) coordinator, and collaboration among teachers, although external partnerships can still be improved. Implementation includes training, workshops, clinical supervision, mentoring, and Learning Community activities that improve teachers' pedagogical and professional competencies. Evaluation is conducted through continuous monitoring, evaluation meetings, follow-up analysis, and supervision instruments. The implementation of this management runs in an integrated and continuous POAC cycle, resulting in improved teacher performance, learning quality, and a collaborative work culture. The findings confirm the strategic role of the principal as an education manager and provide a model that can be used as a reference for teacher professional development in other schools.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study analyzes the management of the Al-Idrak Journal as part of the Journal House strategy at STIT Al-Ihsan Baleendah to improve accreditation and enhance scientific publication activity. The main issue addressed in this research is the incomplete fulfillment of several national accreditation indicators, particularly those related to article history transparency, metadata completeness, digital identification, indexing quality, and the diversity of authors and reviewers. This study aims to map the current condition of journal management, identify its strengths and weaknesses, and formulate strategies for improving journal quality. Using a qualitative approach with a content analysis method, this research systematically examines OJS pages, editorial policies, publication consistency, reviewer profiles, indexing status, metadata completeness, and other digital documents. The findings show that although Al-Idrak has met several basic elements of journal management, such as ISSN registration, OJS implementation, and an editorial structure, several strategic components remain unfulfilled, including editorial process transparency, DOI implementation, Creative Commons licensing, standardized metadata, national indexing, and author diversification. These conditions indicate that the journal is still at a foundational management stage and requires substantial improvements to meet national accreditation standards. This study recommends strengthening digital documentation, enhancing editorial professionalism, expanding author networks, diversifying reviewers, and optimizing the role of the Journal House as a center for institutional publication development. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Seven KAIH Movement (Habits of Great Indonesian Children) in strengthening the character of students at Cangkuang Elementary School, Majalaya District, Bandung Regency. This program is a positive habit-building initiative designed to shape the moral foundation of elementary school students through seven core values. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation of the school community at Cangkuang Elementary School. Data analysis included data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of the Seven KAIH Movement was carried out through integration into daily activities, teacher role models, and habit-based supervision. This program has been proven to have a significant impact on improving student discipline, independence, and polite behavior. Although there were challenges in consistent supervision outside of school, collaboration between teachers and parents was a key factor in the program's success. This study concludes that the Seven KAIH Movement is an effective instrument for internalizing character values ​​if implemented systematically and sustainably.

Abstract

21st century education requires the development of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), especially critical thinking skills, but the achievement of Indonesian students is still relatively low. This study aims to examine the implementation of SOLO Taxonomy-based learning strategies in improving students' critical thinking skills in geography subjects at SMAN 25 Bandung. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The main informant consisted of two geography teachers. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, learning observations, and document analysis, then analyzed thematically using an interactive model. To strengthen the perspective of education administration, the findings were analyzed using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model framework. The results of the study show that learning planning has been systematically prepared and directed at developing the quality of students' thinking. The organization of learning places teachers as facilitators and students as active subjects, even though it is not yet fully institutionalized in the school system. The implementation of learning encourages students to reach the level of relational and extended abstract thinking, although they still face time constraints and heterogeneity of abilities. The evaluation has used a SOLO taxonomy-based rubric, but it needs to be developed again as feedback. This study concludes that the SOLO Taxonomy-based learning strategy has the potential to improve students' critical thinking skills if supported by careful planning, structured organization, and integrative evaluation.

Abstract

Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) merupakan respons strategis dalam sistem pendidikan nasioanal terhadap krisis moral generasi muda. Pesantren, dengan budaya keislaman yang kuat, memiliki potensi besar dalam membentuk karakter secara utuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran budaya Pondok Pesantren Al-Basyariyah Cigondewah dalam mendukung implementasi kebijakan PPK. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis dengan model PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai seperti religiusitas, disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kemandirian ditanamkan melalui pola hidup santri yang terstruktur. Evaluasi dilakukan secara rutin dan mendorong perbaikan berkelanjutan. Kesimpulannya, budaya pesantren telah menjadi model otentik pendidikan karakter dan mampu menjalankan prinsip manajemen mutu berkelanjutan secara efektif.

Abstract

The lecturer certification policy has been implemented to enhance academic quality and professionalism in higher education. This study focuses on the implementation of the lecturer certification policy at STIT Al-Ihsan Baleendah and its impact on lecturers' professional practices. The objective is to gain an in-depth understanding of how certification is carried out and its contribution to improving educational quality. This research is grounded in bureaucratic decision-making theory, a systemic approach to public policy, and the concept of academic professionalism. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the certification policy has encouraged improvements in teaching readiness, involvement in curriculum development, and academic productivity. However, challenges persist, such as the dominance of one-way teaching methods and low motivation among lecturers to engage in research and community service. This study recommends strengthening institutional support, continuous professional development, and contextual evaluation of certification practices within Islamic higher education institutions.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka hadir sebagai bentuk perubahan kebijakan pendidikan yang menuntut adanya pergeseran paradigma dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran di tingkat sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Meskipun begitu, pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka di lapangan tidak terlepas dari hambatan, baik dalam aspek kelembagaan maupun dalam budaya sekolah yang sudah mengakar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pelaksanaan kebijakan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di SDN Pelita Bakti, Kecamatan Pangalengan, Kabupaten Bandung, melalui pendekatan manajerial POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, dan Controlling). Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus,data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi langsung, serta telaah dokumen terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, dan perangkat pembelajaran lainnya yang terlibat. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa dari sisi perencanaan, sekolah telah menyusun program kerja secara kolaboratif meskipun pemahaman guru terhadap kurikulum belum merata. Dalam pengorganisasian, upaya pembentukan tim dan pelatihan internal telah dilakukan namun belum optimal. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, sudah mulai diterapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan proyek penguatan karakter pelajar Pancasila. Sementara dalam aspek pengawasan, refleksi mingguan dan supervisi berjalan, namun masih perlu penguatan instrumen dan tindak lanjut. Implementasi ini menunjukkan kemajuan, meski masih memerlukan dukungan kapasitas guru dan sarana yang memadai.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan instrumen utama dalam membentuk sumber daya manusia yang tidak hanya cerdas secara kognitif, tetapi juga berkarakter. Kebijakan Wajib Belajar 12 Tahun yang dicanangkan pemerintah Indonesia bertujuan untuk menciptakan masyarakat terdidik sekaligus membentuk karakter, salah satunya adalah kedisiplinan. Namun, implementasi kebijakan ini sering kali dihadapkan pada tantangan sosial-ekonomi dan kultural yang menghambat pencapaian tujuan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan Wajib Belajar 12 Tahun dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa di MA Pondok Quran Cilengkrang. Tujuan khususnya mencakup eksplorasi terhadap aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kebijakan tersebut di lingkungan madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa MA Pondok Quran Cilengkrang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MA Pondok Quran mengintegrasikan kebijakan wajib belajar ke dalam program pendidikan yang berorientasi religius dan karakter, dengan pendekatan manajemen berbasis pesantren. Perencanaan dilakukan secara sistematis melalui analisis SWOT, pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan sinergi antara program akademik dan pembinaan akhlak, sementara evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala melalui indikator kedisiplinan siswa seperti kehadiran dan kepatuhan terhadap aturan sekolah. Tantangan terbesar terletak pada kondisi sosial-ekonomi siswa non-mukim serta peran orang tua yang belum optimal. Kesimpulannya, implementasi kebijakan Wajib Belajar di MA Pondok Quran telah berjalan secara adaptif dan kontekstual. Meskipun terdapat kendala, pendekatan partisipatif serta integrasi antara pendidikan formal dan pengasuhan pesantren memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa.
